When dealing with these issues, we often have a misunderstanding, thinking that these things happen randomly. While we often think things are random, in the spiritual realm, they are actually manipulated. Our lives on this earth are merely a shadow of the spiritual realm.
Spiritual Stories About Houses
I once heard a brother from our church talk about his uncle, who was the only boy in his family and was spoiled from a young age. However, this uncle had no skills as an adult, was accustomed to getting something for nothing, and lacked a sense of security. Security actually comes from strength. If you have no strength and no ability to make a living, where does security come from? People without security are prone to taking crooked paths. If I pray with you every day for destiny and dreams, but when you go out to find a job, you cannot do the work and are quickly fired, praying every day without being able to do anything is useless.
The story goes like this: This brother's aunt had a house in the city and brought her mother from the countryside to live with her for her old age, letting the old lady live in her house. As a daughter, she was very filial and loved her mother very much. Later, this house was demolished and replaced with a new building. The property certificate was in the name of the brother's aunt. His grandmother continued to live there until she passed away. Later, this brother's uncle had his eyes on the property, saying, This house was lived in by my mother, so it is my mother's, and what is my mother’s is mine. He had neither the keys to the house nor was the property certificate in his name; he had no actual connection to it. Yet, he disregarded everything and forcibly changed the locks and renovated the house. The brother's aunt (the homeowner) naturally disagreed and changed the locks again. This brother and sister changed locks today, and changed locks tomorrow, and became enemies. Later, his uncle forcibly used the renovated house as a wedding room for his son. Although his son lived in the house his father had seized, it was very inconvenient for him to go to work because of the distance. His uncle thought that once he renovated the house, regardless of whose name was on the property, he could take it for himself. Soon, three months later, this brother's uncle was diagnosed with cancer and passed away.
Can you covet other people's houses? No. I once ministered to this brother's grandmother. During prayer, I saw that her two legs were like wooden sticks and could not be straightened. When I saw it in the video, I was shocked! My goodness! There was a tendon under the knees of her thighs and calves. That tendon connected the upper half of the calf and the lower half of the thigh, and it could not be pulled apart at all. It was very hard, as if it had been welded together with an electric welder, and it did not move at all. What was going on? It turned out that one day, when his grandmother was passing by a small hillside, she inexplicably fell. After returning, her two legs began to become unusable and gradually lost the function of her two legs completely, and she could only lie in bed. Later, this brother's cousin (the uncle's son), who lived with her, took care of her for a while and then moved out, leaving the old woman alone at home.
The old lady lived alone in her old home and often saw strange-shaped shadows. She also often talked to dead people in the air, etc. If we do not understand the spiritual realm, we might think that people are just getting senile. In fact, that leg disease was caused by a demon, and the nonsense was also from a demon. Later, although I tried hard to pray with his grandmother, she still died. From this incident, I discovered that what people think in their minds, if it violates God's spiritual principles, attracts demons.
Through this incident, let's reflect: Would we be so stupid as to renovate a house that is not yours? I don't think you would, because the house is not in your name, and property registration requires an ID card. But when people are controlled by demons, they become very stupid. They think they are very smart, but in fact, they are very stupid.
Last week, I talked about my mother taking care of my grandfather, taking care of him until she saw him off. This is a blessed thing. But if you covet the old man's house, you will attract demons. If the demons come and kill you, you will not get the house, and you will lose your life. So today, you need to know that I am saying this not to make you ignorant, but to make you smart. I believe that filial piety is a blessing, whether he believes in the Lord or not. Even if he does not believe in the Lord, filial piety is still a good thing. There are many people in China who live off their parents. Why do they live off their parents? Because they are incapable. If they have the ability to make money, why would they covet other people's things? Coveting other people's things is terrible in the Ten Commandments, and the consequences are very serious.
Coincidentally, it was still this brother. His father was very filial and brought his grandmother from the countryside to live in the house he bought for her old age. Later, his grandmother passed away, and his eldest uncle said that he had a share in the house his grandmother lived in. It's really strange. What kind of brain is this? When the old lady was alive, he did not say that he had a share in taking care of the old lady, but after she passed away, he said that he had a share in the house. The thinking in this person's head is very strange. Just because his mother lived in that house, he must have a share in the house. If his mother rented someone else's house and died in the rented house, would he still tell the landlord that he had a share in the rented house?
We often encounter unreasonable people. They talk about their own reasons, and they talk very seriously and angrily. People who are controlled by demons are like this. But no matter how much you argue, it is useless; someone else’s house has a property certificate. What does it have to do with you? This is not a shared bicycle. There is no license plate, so if you want to ride it, you can ride it. If you steal it home, no one will care. What is the point of this example? Even the stupidest person understands that this house is not yours, but people who are controlled by demons do not understand.
Similar things have happened in my own family. I am not afraid of offending anyone. If you want to listen, listen. If you don't want to listen, forget it. If you want to live in a curse, continue. Some time ago, I helped my mother manage her property. The real estate in Mudanjiang is not very prosperous. Anyone with a little brain knows that the real estate there is not worth much. I am very clear about the value of real estate. In a fourth- or fifth-tier city, many people go to work in big cities. Some of my classmates and I have developed in other cities, and it will be difficult for the next generation to go back. A few years ago, I advised my mother to sell the house. At that time, she could sell it for tens of thousands more than now, and then take her to buy a house in a more developed area, where the appreciation would be hundreds of thousands of dollars, wouldn’t that be great? But at that time, my mother would not calculate this account, and as a result, the house prices in Mudanjiang became lower and lower. Later, she figured it out and planned to sell it. My sister took my mother back to her hometown. When my younger brother and his wife heard the news, they strongly opposed it. My sister opened the safe at home and found that the property certificate was missing. It turned out that my younger brother and his wife had taken it away. In fact, it was useless to take it away. My mother quickly applied for a new property certificate from the relevant department, and the old one was invalidated.
Many people have their eyes on the old people's property, but they don't know that this will bring a curse. I really don't like fighting with people. What's the point of fighting? I said to my younger brother, Brother, what do you want? Tell me, I am your older brother. I will help you with whatever you want. Later, my younger brother communicated with me and said that he wanted one of my mother's two houses. I said, I don't have much opinion. If you want it, I will give it to you. I don't need that many houses. Coveting other people's houses, especially the old people's houses, cannot go uncursed. People who are cursed cannot live well. I am very clear about this and never covet it. One of my mother's houses was bought with her own savings, and the other was mostly bought with money I gave her. Even if they coveted the houses, it would not be their turn, but they coveted them.
Later, I gathered the other sisters together and asked everyone if they agreed to give one of the houses to my younger brother. Everyone had no opinion, so the matter was settled. But then the problem came: my brother's wife suddenly had a heart attack and was hospitalized, and they did not get the house. Why? Because my mother said, I'm not dead yet? What kind of transfer are you talking about? So the matter was dropped.
My family's story is very similar to the example of that brother's uncle before. They had heard it before and knew it, but when it came to their own heads, they became confused and did not learn their lesson. I advise everyone not to covet the old people's houses, because it is easy to attract demons. It's not easy to be hospitalized with a heart attack for more than a month!
Diligently Observing and Obeying God's Commandments
Why does thinking about an old person's property invite evil spirits? Because this is in the Ten Commandments. Failure to diligently observe and obey God's commandments brings a curse. Many things originate from the words in the Ten Commandments:
You shall not make for yourself an image in the form of anything in heaven above or on the earth beneath or in the waters below. You shall not bow down to them or worship them; for I, the Lord your God, am a jealous God, punishing the children for the sin of the parents to the third and fourth generation of those who hate me, but showing love to a thousand generations of those who love me and keep my commandments. You shall not misuse the name of the Lord your God, for the Lord will not hold anyone guiltless who misuses his name. Remember the Sabbath day by keeping it holy. Six days you shall labor and do all your work, but the seventh day is a sabbath to the Lord your God. On it you shall not do any work, neither you, nor your son or daughter, nor your male or female servant, nor your animals, nor any foreigner residing in your towns. For in six days the Lord made the heavens and the earth, the sea, and all that is in them, but he rested on the seventh day. Therefore the Lord blessed the Sabbath day and made it holy. Honor your father and your mother, so that you may live long in the land the Lord your God is giving you. You shall not murder. You shall not commit adultery. You shall not steal. You shall not give false testimony against your neighbor. You shall not covet your neighbor’s house. You shall not covet your neighbor’s wife, male or female servant, ox or donkey, or anything that belongs to your neighbor. (Exodus 20:4-17)
Everyone must firmly remember the Ten Commandments because they are a bottom line, the most basic requirement. Exceeding this bottom line will bring a curse. What is a curse? A curse is when the devil is legally allowed to do corrupting work in you. What people think in their hearts is closely related to the spiritual realm, and ghosts are invited by people themselves. Why do people invite ghosts? Because ghosts start from their own interests. For example, loving money prevents one from loving God.
Some Spiritual Events
I read a very interesting report that people often have no expression when they drown. Their heads are exposed, but they die without any struggle. Below the picture of this story, there were many comments, and some said they had encountered this situation when they were children and suddenly felt their bodies completely stiff in the water, unable to lift their hands or shout, with no signs of struggle, and they would drop down in a moment. If you encounter this situation, you should know it is the spirit of death on that person, controlling them and making them completely unable to move.
This situation in the water is similar to sleep paralysis in the water. Sleep paralysis is very common. If you are an atheist, you cannot understand what sleep paralysis is? Sleep paralysis is when a person is sleeping and is tightly pressed by something, feeling difficulty breathing, unable to shout, and unable to move. If you wake up, then you have survived it, but some people do not survive and die. A sister’s colleague died from sleep paralysis. This colleague was still working the day before, and went home to sleep, and at four or five in the morning, screamed and ran out of the room. The landlord felt something was wrong and asked, only to find out it was sleep paralysis. After resting for half an hour, she went back to rest, but never woke up the next day. We often think these things are heart disease or some illness, but they are actually ghosts. When we encounter this situation, we must pray and fight to drive the ghosts out, and we must fight to win.
Someone I know told me some time ago that he often encounters sleep paralysis at night. Suddenly a woman, looking very enchanting, would come onto his bed, hugging him tightly, like a story from Strange Tales from a Chinese Studio, almost several times a day. Later, I led him to pray to drive the ghosts away, but he was still very attached to this matter in his mind, and as a result, the ghost came back. Isn't this life-threatening?
People are often deceived by lies. Even though the ghost is doing things, it says in people that there are no ghosts. Why do ghosts find some people? Because the heart is full of evil. If you are always thinking about taking other people's things, or your parents' property, you will be cursed. After listening to these stories, everyone must not just listen to them. You must hear the sound in the words behind the story and not have a fluke mentality, thinking that you are okay. It's like always running red lights, not knowing when you will lose your life because of running a red light. If you walk by the river often, you are bound to get your shoes wet. This is not only spoken to you but also to me, to all of us. Because God's word speaks to you, and it speaks to me. Don't have a fluke mentality. If you have enough real understanding of the spiritual realm, you will know what to do.
Pay attention and you will find that there is often an internal connection between things. We need to know the relationships between these things and start to see through and become shrewd. The 《Bible》clearly records what curses such things will bring. The 《Bible》uses spiritual words to explain spiritual things. Don't think that if you covet other people's things, you will get them. I encourage everyone that since you know the reality of the spiritual realm, you must diligently observe and obey God's words, and God will bless you according to the way you diligently observe!
