Introduction

Today is Lecture 2 of Gaining Destiny, Becoming a Blessing. If you recall the contents of our previous lecture, as well as the earlier series of lectures on The Revelation of the Victorious Church and Pastoring the Church, you will find that these contents are basically centered on whether or not we diligently keep and follow the Words of God. In fact, many people do not know that both blessings and disasters come from God. If you do not know that blessings and disasters come from God, it is truly a great tragedy in life! If you do not know, it is troublesome. If you are a Christian but do not know God, what kind of Christian will you be?

In my heart, I am determined to do one thing: If I am to be a Christian, I will be a resounding Christian! If you are a lawyer, you definitely want to be a resounding lawyer; if you are an engineer, you want to be a resounding engineer; if you are an accountant, you want to be a resounding accountant; if you are in sales, you want to be a resounding salesperson... It is good to have this kind of thinking! But the key question is: When you are a Christian, do you also have such thoughts, wanting to be a resounding Christian? Where does this idea of being a resounding Christian come from? It comes from diligently keeping and following the Words of God.

Why do many people not diligently keep and follow the Words of God? Because they do not quite believe in the Words of God. I once gave an example: I told many people, Come to church tomorrow at 3:30 a.m., and I will give you a thousand dollars! As a result, no one came because they did not believe that I would really give them that thousand dollars. If someone had really come, I would definitely have given him that thousand dollars. Then those who did not come would see it and say, You really gave money? Really! As a result, they would regret it. In fact, God has given us many promises, many graces, and many blessings through the Bible! But blessings and disasters all come from God. Diligently keeping and following the Words of God will bring blessings; not diligently keeping and following the Words of God will bring curses. If Christians encounter disasters, that is a curse!

Blessings and Curses are Important Lessons in Life

Blessings and curses, this is a major theme in life. I wrote a book called Blessings and Curses, which is an Expository Study of Deuteronomy. The thirty-plus chapters of Deuteronomy are all about the theme of blessings and curses. I wrote this Expository Study in two volumes, both of which are very thick and sell very well. Although I am advertising here, if you really go and read this book carefully, you are truly blessed! Few people study the Bible like I do because I am determined to be a resounding Christian. Whatever God says, I will do!

Many cancer patients hate when I speak because I say that cancer is a curse! They do not like to hear this kind of talk. They feel that they are pathetic for getting sick, but they refuse to believe that this is a curse from God, insisting that it is a blessing in disguise given by God. In fact, a blessing is a blessing, and a curse is a curse. Where does this blessing in disguise come from! Do not blame me for saying this; this is what God says.

At our long prayer meeting last Friday, and in the prayers led by one of our leaders a few days ago, I listened for a while and was deeply moved. The person being ministered to was a church pastor who said that in their church, there was not a single person who thirsted for the Word of God, only a group of people doing direct selling. In fact, today, direct selling is rampant in churches all over the world. What a sad sight! If you are a pastor doing direct selling, do not blame me for not telling you. If you are a pastor doing direct selling, then be careful because this is not from God! This pastor who was being ministered to had knee pain for many years and was healed after praying with us. Recently, there have also been many new people among us with stomach pain, back pain, and leg pain... They have all been healed after praying with us! Many people have been healed!

How happy I am to see this! This is more delicious than eating good food! So many people are blessed because of me. How happy I am! This is the meaning of my life: to let many people be blessed because of me! Some people do not understand my mentality. They feel that if you think this way, how can you live your life? Others are healed, why are you happy? Because I have paid a very painful price for today's situation! It is like a farmer tilling the land hard in the spring, shedding blood, sweat, and tears, not knowing who will eat the grain that he has planted in the future. But when autumn comes, seeing so many crops in the field bearing heavy fruits, he is always happy in his heart because the fruits have finally been borne!

How can fruits be borne? If people put in the effort, they will surely bear fruit. How happy it is when the day of bearing fruit comes! I like to get things done. Building a church like we have today is really great! You ask me if I am tired? Yes, I am really tired. But I often encourage myself with one sentence: I was born for this, I live for this, and I will die for this! This is my goal in life. Seeing my goal achieved, how can I not be happy? This is my Mingding Destiny!

Living for Mingding Destiny

Some people say: You lack nothing in life. Why do you do this? Are you just doing it because you are full and have nothing else to do? In fact, life is meaningless precisely because people are full and have nothing else to do. Some people feel that eating their fill is the meaning of life, but others feel that being full and having nothing else to do is meaningless. I have no interest in eating, drinking, or having fun. I only have one interest: to let people be blessed. As long as someone is blessed because of me, I am happy because that is what I live for. Do you think that God would not listen to my prayers if I were like this?

Why do I do this? Because the Word of God tells me to do this. This is a blessing! Hearing the Word of God, hearing it and then doing it, can solve the problems of human life. I also wrote a book called Recognizing the Emptiness of Life, which is an Expository Study of Ecclesiastes. I really like Ecclesiastes. I often listen to Ecclesiastes, and as I listen, I become clear-headed and know what I should do in life. If people do not know what they should do in life, they live in vain! Ecclesiastes says that humans and beasts are actually similar. How beasts die is how humans die. But I do not want to live like a beast. Can that still be called a human? Beasts live to eat and drink, and you also eat and drink; beasts live to reproduce, and you also go to reproduce. Then what is the difference between you and a beast? Do not think that your Destiny is to take care of your family, thinking that this is what God said. If you really think so, you probably do not understand the Word of God very well. Solving the question of why a person lives is a very crucial matter because I do not want to cause trouble.

What do you really live for? If you live for money, there is a saying: Man dies for wealth, and birds die for food. So the problem lies here: if the question of why a person lives cannot be solved, all other things are useless. Some time ago, some people said when they heard me preach, I have a political stance. They find that some of the things I often say sound a bit harsh to them.

Because I do not like to cause trouble, nor do I like to go to the streets and make a fuss. Because that is not the purpose for which I live. The purpose for which I live is to become a blessing to many people. We must go back to the Bible to see this. Today, there are many Christians involved in politics, with yellow, red, blue, green, and orange colors. That is their political stance. My stance is that I do not participate in these things. I came into this world to diligently keep and follow the Words of God, seeing through these trivial matters of this life. Why should I care about this? In this life, I want to proclaim freedom for the captives and release from darkness for the prisoners. What is this? It refers to people who are controlled by the spiritual forces of darkness.

If I am to minister to people who come from the spiritual forces of darkness, I immediately become energetic. If you ask me to go to the streets, I am sorry, I do not really like that. Why do you not like it? We also want to fight for freedom, but your freedom and my freedom are not the same thing. I just like to serve God, and I do not like money because this is my Mingding Destiny.

My political stance is that I do not want to cause trouble. I just want to become God's blessing. I want to cast out demons, preach the Word of God, and do healing and deliverance. The Word of God also does not want us to cause trouble. What is the point of causing trouble! This is a matter of core interests. Jesus came into this world and said, My kingdom is not of this world. If My kingdom were of this world, I would have fought with soldiers long ago, bang! bang! bang! and defeated them, wouldn't I?

Jesus did not open His mouth to argue when He was crucified. Jesus did not argue when he was sentenced to death. Why? My understanding is that Jesus did not live for this. In the end, all that is left for a worldly king is a coffin. If he is lucky, it is a crystal coffin; if not, it is a wooden coffin. I do not think it is very interesting.

Core Interests Determine a Person's Value System

This is a matter of core interests. Is this core interest the core interest of this life or the core interest of eternal life? A person's view of living determines many things. What exactly is the view of living? Why are so many people doing this? The important thing is their core interests. For the sake of this core interest, they take to the streets, live and fight for it, and must protect their own interests. I wish you good luck.

All authority in the world comes from God. The issue of core interests was clarified long ago in the Bible. They treat many things as the words of Christianity, but they are not like Jesus! When have you ever seen Jesus organizing people to march in the streets? There is no such thing. It is very important not to live for oneself but to become a blessing to others. It determines whether it is a worldly logical system or a Godly logical system. Later, after I believed in Jesus, I desperately read the Bible and read the Words of God.

Do not think that just because someone is a Christian, they really understand the Words of God. Many Christians treat many things as dogmas. Are they really like Jesus? Jesus organizes people to march in the streets? There are no such things. This is a matter of core interests. Even if Jesus Christ's life is taken away, He does not care. He does not live for Himself. This is the purpose for which I came into this world: to come into this world to be crucified for the world; to become the salvation of mankind; to become a role model for people to follow; and to see through worldly affairs.

What exactly are our core interests? This matter is very important. It determines a worldly logical system or a Godly logical system. Many Christians live in a worldly logical system and are very concerned about worldly affairs. I do not care. In fact, when I was young, I felt that living was meaningless. At that time, I did not believe in Jesus, and I did not know why I was living. Later, after I believed in the Lord, I desperately read the Bible and discovered that many Christians really do not know why they are living, and they have many complaints. Why do we listen to the Words of God today? Because we believe that our core interest is the kingdom of God. The kingdom of God is in heaven, it is eternal, not in the world. It does not matter if we suffer a little loss in the world.

My family once had a puppy. I gave it a bone, and it did not know that the bone was I gave it to it. When I snatched the bone back, it showed its teeth at me, which was quite scary because the bone was its core interest. There are many Christians. If you try them, touch their core interests, you will know that it will not work as soon as you touch it. As soon as you touch it, they will show their teeth. Then I touch your core interest? My core interest is the Kingdom of God. How can you touch it?

What exactly is the logical system? The core interest plus the entire set of ideological systems evolved from the core interest is this life and eternal life. If our system is a system of eternal life logic, what is there in this world? If I am not interested in earning a lot of money, it is difficult for scammers to scam my money! Why? No interest. Why are people being cheated? Because they have thoughts and desires in their hearts. My desire is to become a blessing to many people.

It is more blessed to give than to receive. Why do you pay such a price to serve? Sometimes it is really tiring and hard. Why do you still do it? Because I live for this.

Yesterday evening and the evening before, one elder sister was listening and felt very sad. Her eyes could not see anything. Her cell phone was in front of her, but she could not even see the outline of the cell phone. The day before yesterday, I prayed with her, and after a short time, her eyes began to see the outline of things, becoming clearer and clearer. Last night, I prayed with her again, and it was clearer than the day before. What do you think will happen if we continue to do this? Won't her eyes get better? This elder sister is very blessed. In this situation, there are not many people I can directly serve. I also want to have three heads and six arms. If I can really get three heads and six arms, I still want to spend my time training people like me.

I hope that those who give their lives for God are not for their own interests but to become a blessing to others; not to become social unrest but to become social stability; social stability is not what we care about most. What we care about most is to become a blessing to people. If a person is poor and suffering from the curse of poverty, giving him more money will not solve the problem. Sickness is the curse of sickness. If you want to become a blessing to others, you must do your best to bring people to the Words of God so that people will hear the Words of God and then go and do them, diligently keeping and following everything that comes out of God's mouth. Then you will find that they will obtain something called Mingding Destiny, which is the question of why they live.

They will be like me, and the blind will be healed with prayer. Did I charge them money? No, I do not even want them to offer if they are unwilling to do so. We have seen through worldly affairs. What is money? So I think that even some church pastors, ministers, and colleagues have many mysteries. Building a church requires money, building a metropolis requires people, no. Building a church requires the presence of God, a group of people who diligently keep and follow God's Words, who are willing to be disciples of Jesus Christ, who are willing to give their lives for Jesus Christ, who are willing to see through all the things related to living in this world, life and death, who are willing to establish a set of Godly logical systems, and who are willing to re-examine and repent on the unity of interests, changing to diligently keep and follow God's Words as our interests, and taking the Kingdom of God as our core interest.

Look, how good it is that I believe in the Lord this way! My mother recovered from two years of Alzheimer's disease. I take her out for shopping. When we go to a store to buy something, the shop assistant says, Your mother is healthy. I said, She had Alzheimer's disease for two years. How did she get better? I fixed her. How did I fix her? By doing healing and deliverance with people, I thank my God! Because I long to become a blessing to others, to gain Mingding Destiny, which is the meaning of living. I do not want to live like a beast. I want to live like Jesus Christ and become a blessing to many people. As a result, God has blessed me. What grace and mercy this is.

Two years ago, there was a brother who was blind. He called me, and I happened to be driving. I talked to him a few words and felt sad in my heart. As a result, more than a year later, I continued to change his value system, and his eyes got better and he went to work. At that time, he could not only see, but his eyes were also hurting so much. As soon as I prayed, the pain disappeared. Later, his eyes recovered step by step. In this process, breaking people's worldly systems is a collision and conflict, but I became his blessing. When I knew that his eyes had gotten better, I thanked my God! God made me become his blessing through me, so that he could be healed. Why do this? Because this is my Mingding Destiny.

Everyone knows they are tired, but what should they do after they are tired! Many people complain, and then they get stressed and even depressed because they care so much about that matter. Today, those of us who serve God sometimes also feel stressed. These burdens are on our shoulders every day. We are really tired, but we were born for this, we live for this, and we die for this. What is there to say? So we rarely complain about stress and other things.

We read the Bible, but we do not understand it. We often read it in a daze. Today I saw a conversation between a sister among us and her pastor. He said that he had read the Book of Joshua many times before, but he did not understand it. No matter how he read it, he just did not understand it! A few days ago, our pastor led her to pray and release, breaking her worldly logical system and driving out the demons. Today, she sent a message saying that she understands it as soon as she reads it now. And the tasks given to her by her boss, which she never understood before, she understands as soon as she reads them today. Has she been blessed!

Obtaining Destiny to Become a Blessing: Starting with Reading Genesis

Earlier, when we read the Bible, we didn't understand much and had to explain it to others. Later, we desperately read the Bible and found a very interesting person named Lot. Lot became a stark contrast to Abraham. Lot was Abraham's nephew, and because Lot's father died early, Lot had always followed Abraham, who raised him as his own son! He brought him to Canaan, and he and Abraham became very wealthy.

I want to explain that obtaining destiny to become a blessing comes from reading Genesis. Genesis is a very important book because it is the foundation of the entire Bible. The first eleven chapters of Genesis are the foundation of the entire book, the first three chapters are the foundation of the first eleven chapters, and the first chapter of Genesis is the foundation of the first three chapters. The Bible is truly well-written!

Obtaining destiny to become a blessing comes from reading Genesis. Genesis is a very important book! Reading Genesis chapter 13, they became very rich, and the two men started to quarrel and separate. Abraham let Lot choose first, If you go to the left, I will go to the right. If you go east, I will go west. If you go south, I will go north. As a result, Lot chose a very fertile land, the plain of the Jordan River, which was like the garden of Jehovah, and like the land of Egypt, very lush.

Lot gradually moved his tent and entered the city of Sodom! His life was more comfortable than Abraham's, and the facilities were more convenient than in the tent. He ate well and slept well! But Abraham continued to stay in the barren land, living in a tent. The tent certainly couldn't compare to the city, and the facilities were inconvenient! All day long, there were cows and sheep, and no sanitation.

But interestingly, Lot was later captured. When Abraham heard that his nephew had been captured, he led 318 strong soldiers from his household, defeated the four enemy kings, and rescued his nephew Lot. But nephew Lot returned to the city of Sodom. Later, God was going to destroy the city of Sodom, and God consulted with Abraham, and as a result, Lot and his family were rescued and the city of Sodom was destroyed. Lot lost everything!

Lot's core interest was to live a little better and more comfortably, so he moved to the city of Sodom. Didn't Abraham know that living in the city was more comfortable? He knew! But living a little better and more comfortably was not Abraham's core interest. Abraham's core interest was to keep and follow God's word and become a blessing to many people!

Abraham moved his tent everywhere, which was actually very hard, but Abraham had long seen through the matter of living. His inner logic system was a divine, eternal logic system, which was to hope to become a blessing to many people! All the nations on earth would be blessed through him!

Losing Destiny, Living a Small Life is a Curse

Why did Lot lose everything? Because he left Abraham, who had a destiny, and he himself left his destiny. In fact, Jesus never praised Lot. Jesus said, Remember, in the end times, it will be like Sodom and Gomorrah. Remember Lot and his wife. We need to know that Lot was a person who lost his destiny. Until today, many people say that Lot was a righteous man, but Lot's affairs were a bit disreputable. He was captured, and his uncle Abraham rescued him, but he didn't say a word of thanks and went back to live his own little life.

Brothers and sisters, know that if living a small life is your destiny, you will become a Lot who loses his destiny. What are you pursuing today? There are too many Christians like Lot today. What kind of Christian do you want to be? In fact, Lot bought many houses and properties in Sodom, but in the end, he lost everything. Isn't it empty if a person lives like this? If a person only wants to live a small life, it is a curse in itself! I have seen many Christians who like to live a small life and call it a Christian's responsibility. Is a Christian's responsibility to live a small life? Living a small life is like Lot.

I want to bring a shock to the thinking of our brothers and sisters. You can only receive a blessing if you want to become a blessing to others; wanting to become a blessing to others is obtaining destiny; if you want to become a blessing to others, you will pay the price for Jesus Christ; you will not be sad about sacrificing your own interests.

Next, the brothers and sisters among us will experience a small test, which is what will happen when your core interests are touched? Are you only pursuing God's blessing in this world, thinking that when God blesses you, you can buy many houses? When Lot bought houses, he thought it was God's blessing, but when he lost everything, he was very sad!

Why do people live? What did Lot and Abraham live for? God never said to Lot, All the nations on earth will be blessed through you. Lot's wife looked back from the city of Sodom and turned into a pillar of salt. If a person lives for worldly things, what will be left for you in the end is a coffin.

This Sunday, I will share with you Do not love the world, count all things as dung, only to gain Jesus Christ as the most precious treasure.

In fact, Jesus never praised Lot, and neither did the Apostle Paul, but the Apostle Peter liked to say that Lot was a righteous man, but I think since Jesus and Paul didn't say so, and Jesus said, Remember Lot and his wife, remember what? Don't lose your destiny!

We gradually discover that although they are Abraham's sons, one has a destiny and the other does not. Abraham had two sons, one was Isaac and the other was Ishmael. Ishmael lives by his own hands and swords; those who live by their own hands and swords are cursed, Isaac relies on God's promise. These two children, one is Sarah's and the other is Hagar's. The Bible says that only Sarah's son can inherit the inheritance because Isaac willingly offered himself.

When Abraham offered Isaac, Isaac could carry heavy wood, which could be built into an altar, and then Isaac was tied up and placed on the altar, ready to be set on fire and sacrificed to God. Isaac was willing to offer himself, and Abraham was also willing to offer him, but God told Abraham not to harm the child, and as a result, Isaac came back alive.

Would you and I offer Isaac like Abraham? Would we offer ourselves like Isaac? Since Isaac offered himself, he lived in peace and prosperity all his life. Isaac had a destiny, he was to live for God, he offered himself to God, sacrificing his life at all costs, because he wanted to obtain what Abraham had obtained.

The Bible, Genesis, all the way to Esau and Jacob, are all talking about destiny. When some pastors talk about it, they say that Jacob deceived people and was deceived. In fact, the Bible never criticized Jacob. These people don't know if they are reading the Bible or the Tao Te Ching. Jacob did deceive Esau. Jacob came to his father, Isaac, whose eyes were blind, and asked Jacob, Are you Esau? Jacob said, I am Esau! This is simply lying with his eyes open, and as a result, Isaac blessed Jacob, and after the blessing, Jacob ran away, and as a result, he lay down and fell asleep in a place, and saw a ladder to heaven, and Jehovah stood on it and declared blessings to Jacob. After Jacob woke up, he said, This is the gate of heaven, this is the house of God. Jacob paid a very heavy price for his destiny in his life! And Esau, when Isaac was praying for Jacob, Esau came back from outside and said to his father Isaac, Isn't there any blessing left for me? His father Isaac said, No!

As a result, as Isaac declared, Esau relied on the sword in his hand to live his life, taking a cursed path. Today, brothers and sisters, do you rely on the sword in your hand to live your life, or do you rely on God's blessing to live your life? If you rely on the sword in your hand to live your life, that is a curse; if you rely on God's blessing, that is truly blessed.

If we recognize God's blessing, we must value God's covenant and value our destiny in God and our identity in God's kingdom. Christians are priests of the living God, royal priests, children of the living God. We cannot underestimate our position, we must value our destiny and position. We were originally children of the living God, and we should have lived out the glorious image of God. If we are children of God, do we need to risk our lives for money? No, there is no need! This is Esau and Jacob. Of course, you can say, I still have a lot to say.

Later, when it came to Jacob's son Joseph, Joseph was also a man of destiny, and as a result, Joseph paid a painful price for his destiny. Genesis chapter 38 tells the story of a woman named Tamar, which is very disturbing. She pretended to be a prostitute and deceived her father-in-law, not her husband, but her father-in-law, because her husband died. Tamar deceived her father-in-law into having a relationship, and as a result, she really became pregnant, just once.

Even in today's society, it is difficult for us to accept such a thing after reading it. But Tamar became a righteous person because she spared no effort for her destiny, to have children from the house of Judah, and later she did get them, and those born were Zerah and Perez. Matthew chapter 1 records that Judah begat Zerah and Perez by Tamar, and Tamar became a person in the genealogy of Jesus Christ.

Tamar was very beautiful and a good person, so why didn't she remarry? What Tamar thought in her heart was: In any case, I must obtain the promise God gave to Abraham, the covenant God made with Abraham, to become a blessing to all nations on earth. This is Tamar. If you carefully analyze what is in Tamar's heart, you will know that Tamar has something in her heart, which is destiny!

Destiny is the Main Axis of the Bible

When we grasp that destiny is a theme that runs through the entire Bible, it is a very important main line in God's word system. If the main line of God's word is a matter of destiny, then we will grasp destiny and be a resounding Christian, eager to become a blessing to all nations and peoples on earth.

Blessing comes from Jesus Christ, that is, the body of Jesus Christ, because the church is the body of Jesus Christ. If you are a pastor of a church and you do not build God's church well, and you do not build the body of Jesus Christ well, how can you become a blessing to people? The result is a curse. Either be a blessed person or be cursed.

Either be a blessed Christian or be a cursed Christian. The Israelites have been tossed around among the nations for more than two thousand years. Why? Because God originally had a wonderful plan for them, which was to let them bear their destiny, but they lost their destiny, in order to live a small life, for money, for family, just not for God. As a result, they were tossed around among the nations for more than two thousand years, so the history of the Jews is very tragic. In World War II, Hitler killed six million Jews, which was very tragic. Why? Because they lost their destiny, which is an extremely sad thing.

Do you want to receive a blessing, do you want to become a blessing to others, this is the key. If you want to receive a blessing but do not want to become a blessing to others, then what do you want a blessing for? You are just a selfish person, you are just a Dead Sea. There will not even be a fish in the Dead Sea, if you want to become a blessing to others, God will surely make you a blessing to others, and God's blessing will surely come upon you.

Destiny is the main line of our reading of the Bible. In the New Testament, God wants to trample everything under His feet through the body of Jesus Christ, that is, the church. The church will overcome the powers of hell, overcome all spiritual powers of darkness. The church's responsibility is to release those who are captured, to release those who are oppressed, so that they can be released in the spiritual world, become a living person with a spirit, can live out the image of Jesus Christ, and also become a person with a destiny.

Summary

Today, I challenge everyone again, do you want to be a blessed person? If you say I dream of it, then the problem is why do you live? If you live for your own small life, then forget it. You are still far from being blessed. Ideals are very full, but reality is very skinny.

But if you say that I want to give my life for God, be a disciple of Jesus Christ, and bear the destiny of Jesus Christ in this age, so that God's will can be manifested through me in this age. I tell you, even if you do not want to be blessed, God will pour out His blessings on you, because you are a person with a destiny, so today I am talking about a topic called Obtaining Destiny and Becoming a Blessing. Are you willing to be like us, that many people are healed through your hands, and many people are blessed because of you, that is an extremely beautiful story.

Today, no matter how many people label us with various labels, we do not care much, because I believe that what we do today in heaven and earth, the angels in God's kingdom will joyfully cheer for us, because we are going to become a blessing to many people, God will surely let His angels and heavenly army camp around us, God will surely become our marshal, leading us to constantly triumph and enter the promised land, because this is our destiny.
