Never Give Up
A person must have character – never give up.
The Lord is our strength, our high tower.
1. Scripture: Philippians 3:12-14
2. Prayer: Offer the best.
3. The most important thing in life is a goal.
3.1 An unchanging goal – eternal life.
3.2 (1) Break the flesh (2) Break the spiritual bondage (3) Read the Word of God (4) Apply faith to practical life.
4. The two most important qualities in life: Goals and character.
4.1 Deal with the passions and desires of the flesh.
4.2 Morning prayer is training.
5. Building the church is to perfect the lives of brothers and sisters.
5.1 Exercising character will reveal your life is filled with the glory of God.
5.2 First believe that you will be victorious. Press on toward the goal.
5.3 With a courageous heart, with patience.
5.4 Nothing can be a reason to retreat.
6. Spiritual disciplines
6.1 Scripture:
[2 Tim 2:3] Share in suffering as a good soldier of Christ Jesus.
[2 Tim 2:4] No soldier gets entangled in civilian pursuits, since his aim is to please the one who enlisted him.
[2 Tim 2:5] An athlete is not crowned unless he competes according to the rules.
7. God's Promises are Faithful
7.1 God is faithful; His will is unwavering.
7.2 We must strive forward, pressing on toward the goal.
7.3 God strengthens us; we shall reach the finish line.
7.4 If we persevere, God will surely grant us glory.
8. Conclusion: Our unwavering spirit will shake this generation!
8.1 We must restore the mission to bless this generation!
8.2 All I can offer is blood, toil, tears, and sweat. Our sole objective is to strive for victory! Victory at all costs! With unwavering faith!
