Introduction

Good day to everyone! The topic I'm sharing with you today is Rejoicing in Labour, which I particularly appreciate. In fact, it has been clearly articulated in the sharing of the Book of Ecclesiastes. This chapter is the fifth chapter of Ecclesiastes, and its summary is Rejoicing in Labour. A person must know how to enjoy life. What is the purpose of someone who doesn't rejoice in life?

I study joy and the art of living. I sell joy all day long, and the market for joy is vast. Do you know why Douyin (TikTok) is so popular recently? Because there are too many people who are not joyful. There are many skits on Douyin, whether it's live streaming for sales or other short videos, the most important thing is that it brings people some joy and makes them happy.

Why do people enjoy watching it so much? Because life is usually too hard. In our era, when we watched the Spring Festival Gala, we liked to watch things that were pleasant to hear and funny. For example, in my family, my dad liked to watch comedy sketches. He didn't quite appreciate those programs with jumping and dancing. He said he didn't know what they were jumping about. But as soon as a skit came on, he would say, Come quickly! Come quickly! Everyone come and watch.

Some people have studied this phenomenon: during the Spring Festival Gala, some programs make people get up and go to the restroom, while others have everyone glued to the screen. Anything that is particularly funny, regardless of the reason, whether the content is healthy or unhealthy, is liked by everyone because life is usually too hard, and people have to find some fun through these things. This is also good, as people can always find joy in some areas.

What do you think people do the most in their lives? From the moment they are born, parents begin to prepare them to be able to support themselves in the future. If they can't support themselves when they grow up, won't they become dependent on their parents? From a young age, parents hope their children will become successful. What does it mean to be successful? It means being able to make a living.

But few parents study one thing – whether their child will be able to rejoice in the future. Few people care about this. In fact, people spend their lives either learning how to make a living. No parents don't want to train their children to be able to make a living in the future or making a living and working. If you don't enjoy learning and you don't enjoy working, life is miserable! That is to say, the most a person does in their life is learning how to work and working.

The retirement age is being pushed back all over the world. In the past, people retired in their fifties or forties, but for me, forties is still young. Starting to live a retirement life in your fifties, and then feeling very old in your sixties. As a result, the retirement age in Singapore has now been pushed back to over sixty. Think about it carefully, isn't that the case?

I study how to live joyfully. Why do I mention work? Because work takes up so much time. People live to be over sixty years old before retiring, and before that, they are all working. To be a joyful person, one must enjoy work. I am a person who greatly enjoys work. I like to work and I am happy when I work. Some people ask me why I am not working yet. They don't mind if I get tired, they are just afraid that I am not joyful. They care about my joy!

If a person cannot enjoy work in their life, it is miserable. To rely on watching a skit or Douyin to laugh is not a good life, is it? Some people like to play games all their lives, and others like to play mahjong. But they feel uncomfortable when they work and can't avoid working. The topic I am talking about today is very important! If you are human, you have to work; if you are a pig, you have to grow fat. But you are human, not a pig!

Learning the Wisdom of Contentment and Joy

Many people don't have this knowledge, so how can they live well? If they don't have the knowledge of life and don't understand what life is about, then it's troublesome. What I sell is joy, and the market is very broad. If all the common people can work happily, wouldn't the country solve a big problem? If the people are all happy and willing to work, and they rejoice in their work, wouldn't the country be peaceful and prosperous? But there are not many people like this in the world!

I have encountered a situation: this person is just not happy. For example, being able to buy a bicycle in our era was a big deal for a family! When I was a child, riding a Forever brand bicycle on the street was very cool, handsome! It's not that others thought it was handsome, how handsome can riding a bicycle be? But I felt good! But some people riding a bicycle are thinking, This thing requires two legs to pedal uphill, it would be good if I had a bicycle with gears.

People riding a bicycle with gears are also not satisfied. They think, How great it would be to ride a motorcycle! Later, they found that the first group of people who rode motorcycles in our era were either dead or disabled. Motorcycles are quite fast, but they are quite scary! But people who ride motorcycles also think, These two wheels are so bad! It's drafty everywhere when you ride, and there's no air conditioning. How great it would be if there was a roof and four wheels!

People with four wheels are thinking, What a lousy car, can't I buy a better car! Look at other people's cars. They keep thinking like this, and no one is happy. Later, someone drove a sports car, and he was still thinking about why this car doesn't have wings? Someday he would put wings on it and let it fly, and he wanted to buy a plane. What do you want these things for? No matter what you do, you are not satisfied or happy.

They always think that other people's things are better than theirs. If a person always thinks that other people's wives are better than their own, then the trouble is not ordinary, and things will go wrong after a while. Some people's happiness depends on someone living worse than them. Riding a motorcycle and seeing someone riding a bicycle next to them, they look down on them. They feel relieved when they see someone not as good as them.

There is a joke that goes like this: How are you doing lately? I'm relieved if you are not doing well. What are you relieved about? Because I can be happy. They are not joyful because they have done their job well, not enjoying the fruits of their labor, but comparing themselves. Sometimes they can compare and sometimes they can't, and they live a tangled life. What is the problem? People don't understand life, they just think about these things?

Recently, I have been ministering to some people, including cancer patients. You need to know that people who are not joyful and have nothing to do are just looking for trouble, which is called a cancer constitution. The English name for cancer is cancer, and this word starts with a C. This kind of thing is called a C personality. Do you want to get cancer? Really don't want to? Then you have to change your C personality. This C personality is a cancer personality, which is to like to be uncomfortable and find trouble for nothing.

Someone says a word, and you feel uncomfortable; someone looks at you, and you feel uncomfortable; someone closes the door with a thud, and you feel uncomfortable. You feel uncomfortable all day long. Either you think you are a second-class citizen, or you think you are a third-class citizen, or you think you have received less. Anyway, there is something wrong, which is called ignorance! Brothers and sisters, if you can thoroughly study what it means to live and understand what a person is all about, then you will know that joy is the most important thing. Some people feel uncomfortable when they have nothing to do.

Knowing Yourself and Pursuing the Wisdom of Joy

Let's brothers and sisters ask ourselves at this time: What kind of person am I? Am I a C person? If you are a C person, you are not far from suffering. Don't say I'm cursing anyone, people are cursing themselves. Do you understand? You must be a knowledgeable person, not an ignorant person. An ignorant person is difficult to be joyful because an ignorant person builds their joy on some vain things. It's good to be like me! I like to work, I like to learn, I like to do things, and I am joyful all my life!

Scripture

So I saw that there is nothing better for a person than to enjoy their work, because that is their lot. Indeed, it is a gift of God to them. Also, God has given some people wealth and possessions, and the ability to enjoy them, to accept their lot and be happy in their work – this is a gift of God. They do not often reflect on the days of their life, because God keeps their minds occupied with gladness. (Ecclesiastes 5:18-20)

Prayer

God! May you come into my inside and illuminate the things inside me. Remove the ignorant things inside me so that I can become a joyful person. God! Give me knowledge and wisdom so that I may know your will. God! Deal with the bad habits inside me today so that I can become a joyful person. Today, I put my sovereignty in your hands, and may you be the master and king in my life. Act according to your will, and may your will be accomplished in my life. In the name of Jesus Christ, I pray! Amen!

Background of This Passage

The background of Ecclesiastes Chapter 5 is simple. The author is a very powerful person: a wise man in this world who is almost unprecedented and unmatched - Solomon. He is very wise and has studied many topics in his life. When he wrote Ecclesiastes Chapter 5, his research results were published:

So I saw that there is nothing better for a person than to enjoy their work, because that is their lot. Indeed, it is a gift of God to them. Also, God has given some people wealth and possessions, and the ability to enjoy them, to accept their lot and be happy in their work – this is a gift of God. They do not often reflect on the days of their life, because God keeps their minds occupied with gladness. (Ecclesiastes 5:18-20)

This is his conclusion. He came to this conclusion through observing people. When a person is born from their mother's womb, they don't wear anything, not even underpants. They come naked like this. Then he found that people also leave naked when they die. This person comes and goes, why don't they take something with them when they leave? It's useless to carry a suitcase of US dollars, or a suitcase of Euros, or a suitcase of rubles because you can't take anything away. How you come, how you go.

Philosophers often ask one thing: Where do I come from? Where am I going? Recently, one of our colleagues liked to buy philosophy books. I received a package and opened it, and it was his philosophy book. Philosophy must be studied well! You know that there is a very famous Chinese philosopher named Wang Yangming. In our time, he became an object of criticism, called idealism.

In fact, if you think about it a little bit, what is the result of a person's life from birth to death? If you are a joyful person inside, with joy in your heart, it is a joyful life. If your heart is dark, uncomfortable, and tangled, it is a tangled life. People have to observe. In fact, a person must have the knowledge of life from their own standpoint. If a person does not have the knowledge of life, and did not carefully observe, nor comes to read Ecclesiastes, then it's troublesome! Look at what Solomon said:

Whoever loves money never has enough; whoever loves wealth is never satisfied with their income. This too is meaningless. (Ecclesiastes 5:10)

Because people are not joyful if they are not content. People can be joyful, but they are not joyful if they are not content. Then he observed:

As goods increase, so do those who consume them. And what benefit are they to the owners except to feast their eyes on them? (Ecclesiastes 5:11)

What do I want this and that for? What do you want them for? Many people have to figure this out. For example, what do you want to do when you start a business? Starting a business is not about making money, it's about making entanglements. Many people end up creating a lot of entanglements when they start a business. They do it and do it, and after they are finished, they owe a lot of money. There are many brothers and sisters among us who owe money. They jokingly say that people here are greedy for money, but they are all in debt. Why not be greedy for joy? Stupid! If people don't understand this, then it's troublesome. Everyone, think carefully: people don't want to work, but if they don't work, they have to take sleeping pills to sleep. Isn't that strange?

The sleep of a laborer is sweet, whether they eat little or much, but as for the rich, their abundance permits them no sleep (Ecclesiastes 5:12)

Have you seen that? Have seen it. So the author of Ecclesiastes said: There is a great tragedy under the sun, and this tragedy is the result of ignorance.

I have seen a grievous evil under the sun: wealth hoarded to the harm of its owners, or wealth lost through some misfortune so that when they have children there is nothing left to pass on. People come into this world naked, and as they have come, so they depart. They take nothing from their toil that they can carry in their hands. This too is a grievous evil: As everyone comes, so they depart, and what do they gain from toiling for the wind? All their days they eat in darkness, with great frustration, affliction and anger (Ecclesiastes 5:13-17)

Solomon observed so many phenomena, what is he saying? It is to make money. They eat and drink all day long, but it is not delicious. Their heads are full of worries, and they get sick. Just like the cancer patients I minister to, I taught her a lot of knowledge about joy, and later she kept learning. You need to know that couples who have been together for a long time are called narrow road for enemies! How narrow is it? So narrow that they came together.

Because she was not happy when her husband said something: How could he say that to me? But why think about these things? Why do people think like this? It is because of ignorance, not knowing that these things will take away the joy inside us, so joy is the good medicine that heals all parts of the body!

There are also some people who see injustices in this world, being deprived of justice and fairness, and you will see Huang Shiren and Yang Bailao in this world. Of course, some people's money is cheated away, are they uncomfortable! Some people will say: God! Why don't you care? God really doesn't want to care too much. But if you are idle and see these injustices: How can Huang Shiren treat Yang Bailao like this? After watching it, you feel uncomfortable and your joy is gone.

Many people watch the play, and as they watch, they enter the play, thinking that they are living in the play. If you enter the play, you become a joyful person! No, instead you become tangled. The background of this scripture in Ecclesiastes is that after Solomon observed, he found that joy in labor is a great grace. Brothers and sisters, remember to rejoice in your labor.

Brothers and sisters, have you seen people with a lot of pressure at work? Have seen it. But isn't it good to have a little pressure? If there is no pressure, what are you here for? To play? It's like that. So with this scripture, you have to learn a few things, and if you learn these things, you should be a joyful person.

Learn to Enjoy Simple Life

The first thing to learn, the most worry is to mislead everyone, you have to learn to eat and drink! You say I can eat, I say how do you eat? It is to open your upper lip, open your lower lip, pick it up with chopsticks, put it in your mouth, and then chew and eat, is that called eating? How many people have seen this kind of variety show of eating and drinking? It is said that there are two young people who run around all over the world, taking a team to film eating and drinking programs, and after watching it, they will feel that this job is good!

The camera shoots on the show: he enters the store, a bowl of noodles is brought up, he picks it up with chopsticks, looks at the expression on his face, doesn't speak for a long time, and then breathes a sigh of relief: Delicious! That's called knowing how to eat. In fact, it's just eating a bowl of beef noodles, definitely not the very expensive kind.

You have to learn to eat and drink. You need to know that when a person is sick, eating has no taste. If a person's food originally has taste, but because they don't have the knowledge of life, it has no taste after eating it for a while. Why does it have no taste? Because they are doing this and that all day long, accumulating wealth for themselves, and then encountering disasters, tossing around all day long. After so much tossing, eating becomes tasteless.

There is a story: an emperor passed by a place when he was poor and destitute, and an old man gave him a bowl of radish soup. It was very delicious when he ate it at that time. Later, after becoming emperor, he racked his brains to find this bowl of radish soup. One day, he finally found the old man and asked him to make a bowl of radish soup. After eating it, he felt that it was so unpalatable? The old man said that this is what he ate back then. But why does it taste like pig food now?

What has changed? The sense of taste has changed. Why has people's sense of taste changed? I don't know either. You have to learn to eat and drink! What does it mean? Eating and drinking is a great creation of God. If today's scientists can understand this sense of taste, it is also called the sense of smell. The sense of taste is a very magical thing, and if the sense of taste changes, it is very serious.

It is said that some new crown patients eat feces as if they are eating meat; their sense of taste has changed, and eating meat seems to be eating feces. It's reversed, how disgusting! If people don't learn to eat and drink, people don't know how to live!

I know how to live very well, and I will make dumplings when I have nothing to do. Why make dumplings? Southerners don't make them, but as long as it's the Spring Festival, there is a group of people making dumplings, and making dumplings is a custom of northerners. How did it become Chinese culture? Because that kind of feeling is not just eating it in your mouth, but the feeling of knowing how to live! So every Spring Festival, I take everyone to make dumplings. I can do it quickly and well. Later, my mother saw it and wondered: When did you learn it? How can you do it better than me? My mother specializes in making pasta.

You have to learn to eat and drink. It's not just opening your lips and putting it in your mouth, that's not called knowing how to eat. I tell everyone that the dumplings I make for everyone during the Spring Festival have fresh shrimp, fresh meat, and a little ginger and green onions mixed together. When you put it in your mouth and bite it, juice comes out, it is extremely delicious! Very good. Isn't that knowing how to live? Everyone must learn to eat and drink, and learn to enjoy eating and drinking. Why do I say that? If a person doesn't know how to enjoy eating and drinking, how much does that person lose in their life!

How much of one's life is spent on eating and drinking? A significant proportion. A person's life revolves around eating, drinking, sleeping, and then working. The way it is, there was a time when I felt that God was more troublesome than man-made cars. When a car pulls up to a gas station, a fuel nozzle is inserted, and it's done in a moment. No need to till the soil, grow wheat, grind it into flour, mix it into dough, roll it into wrappers, chop vegetables, wrap them up, and boil them in a pot. Wouldn't it be so much easier to have an oil inlet in the stomach, and it would be done in a moment!

Learn to Enjoy the Fruits of Labor

I said, God, look how much time people waste, having to do this and that, busy with eating and drinking. And God mocked me: Foolish boy, can that oil thing have any feeling? In fact, eating should bring a sense of enjoyment. Therefore, Solomon said:

“Here is what I have seen: It is good and fitting for one to eat and drink, and to find enjoyment in all the labor in which he toils under the sun all the days of his life which God gives him; for this is his heritage.” (Ecclesiastes 5:18)

Do you feel that it is delicious? Eating is an art, and eating and drinking are important components of living. How do I know this? Because Jesus did it! Jesus often ate with his disciples, and before being crucified, there was even a last supper. Moreover, Jesus turned three jars of water into wine at a wedding feast. We don't know how many people got drunk, but it was indeed Jesus who turned the water into three jars of fine wine.

Once, I invited a Christian to dinner and offered a bottle of wine. He quickly said, Christians can't drink alcohol. I said, How did you read the Bible? You've come all this way, isn't it normal for me to offer you some wine? He said, If our pastor were here, he definitely wouldn't allow drinking. I wondered, whom are they imitating? Jesus not only drank wine but also turned water into wine! So everyone should know that I am a person who knows how to live well and feels alive.

I don't want to turn everyone into people who can't eat or drink, only knowing how to say Hallelujah, that would be a problem. This is the fifth point, eating and drinking is not what I say, it is what Solomon said.

Those people said that the Son of Man came eating and drinking. Strange! Saying that Jesus ate and drank? Normal, because that's what God created, the mouth was created by God; it is a wondrous creation of God—capable of eating and drinking. You must also learn to sleep; not being able to sleep is a painful thing, some people can't sleep without relying on sleeping pills.

Learn to Enjoy

Is learning to enjoy all about indulging the flesh? Everyone should know that eating and drinking may or may not be about indulging the flesh; enjoyment may or may not be about indulging the flesh; having money may be about loving money or not loving money. Everyone should understand this logic, it's not that if I have money, I love money, it's not like that; it's more that those who don't have money love money.

One must learn to enjoy. Enjoy what? Enjoy the fruits of labor. I've realised why God didn't create an oil inlet for people? So that people can enjoy the fruits of their labour. For example, I take everyone to make dumplings, and after we finish making them, we eat them, that's enjoying the fruits of my labour. Of course, I only bought the flour and the meat, I didn’t kill the pig, I didn’t feed the pig, but I did the later part.

That is to say, a person should enjoy the benefits of their labour. Learning to enjoy is not about enjoying mahjong? Not about enjoying video games? Not about eating, drinking, and having fun, or going on trips? It's about enjoying the benefits of your labor. It is better for a person to enjoy the fruits of their own labour than to enjoy the fruits of corruption!

Can the fruits of corruption be enjoyed? They cannot be enjoyed. You are constantly on edge, not knowing when you will be caught. But enjoying the fruits of one's own hard work is very good. I enjoy working hard - a little boast. Recently, I spoke with my former boss. Everyone knows my previous job was given to me by God, and God blessed me through my former boss. So I often keep in touch with him; he is also a Christian. I told him, I have written seventy books. He said, Where do you get so much time? I said, It doesn't take much time, I just work fast.

Learn Contentment and Gratitude

I enjoy it very much. I told him that I do woodworking, computers, training, and many other things, which surprised him. I enjoy working very much. Why? Because my intellect, knowledge, and learning are all concentrated in my work. That is, my creativity is all expressed in the results of my work; I have solved many technical problems. So, enjoying the benefits of labour, isn't that individual? If a person doesn't work and just opens his mouth to be fed, isn't that like feeding a pig? Brothers and sisters must learn.

Recently, I have been constantly encouraging everyone to learn. Learn what? Learn to do things, learn to do serious things, learn to do creative things, learn to do new things. I have found that when a person creates something with his own hands, you can see that joyful expression on his face; it is especially satisfying. This satisfaction far exceeds eating and drinking.

Brothers and sisters must know that eating and drinking is a relatively low level. But if you use your creativity in your work and solve a technical problem with a clever method, the enjoyment that brings is far beyond comparison with eating and drinking. Therefore, Solomon's conclusion is: enjoy the benefits under the sun.

People come naked and leave naked, and they cannot take the fruits of their labour with them when they die, but when they do this thing, it can bring joy and enjoyment. This is why people do not have that creativity and do not like to work; in the end, they end up doing drugs and talking nonsense. Why? Because they are uncomfortable. Why are they uncomfortable? Simple, they don't create value; there is no great meaning. Therefore, brothers and sisters, you must learn to enjoy; this is crucial.

Walk out of that ignorance, constantly improve your understanding of things; constantly explore new fields; constantly expand yourself. Although we will come naked in the future. We also go naked, but when we do this thing, we live out the image of God, God arranged us in the world and gave us this life to live like this! It turns out that this is God's gift!

Starting a business is not to make money, starting a business is to live out God's glory, and working is to live out God's glory. Learn to be a person, learn to be a person who knows how to live, this is the sixth point.

Learn to Be Content

What is learning to be content? It is taking your own portion, which is the portion God gives you. Some people are not content and always feel that their portion is small. Such an ignorant reaction directly brings inner entanglement and discomfort.

More than ten years ago, there was a person studying in Singapore whose father lived a particularly entangled life. His father shared with me, It's not like my family doesn't have money. A million dollars is quite a bit, but when I think about it, a million dollars is not enough! I said, Many people don't even have a million dollars. How is it not enough?

He said, If I get a heart disease, it will cost hundreds of thousands of dollars. If I get another disease, it will cost hundreds of thousands of dollars. I said, You have so many parts on your body. If your stomach breaks, replace it with a stomach; if your kidney breaks, replace it with a kidney; if your liver breaks, replace it with a liver. Don't say a million, even ten million is not enough! I asked, what kind of mind is this, not broken yet, but prepares the parts first. People are really strange, why think about this when you have nothing to do?

You can be content with one million dollars! Do what you can with one million dollars, and replace as many parts as you can. If your eyes are broken, replace your eyes; if your ears are broken, replace your ears. That guy, just reassemble yourself!

People must learn to take their portion and learn to be content, and put joy in the most important position in their lives. Why do I encourage everyone to learn to have Mingding Destiny? Because with Mingding Destiny, we know why we live and we will have a lasting joy. Without Mingding Destiny, we do this for a while and do that for a while, like a headless fly.

Learn to Work and Innovate

I want to tell everyone that if a person learns to be content, they will not lose their joy! You lose your joy for no reason and replace it with a bunch of entanglements. What are you here to do? Are you here to be entangled? I told him, Change your personality, surname 'Entangled', you are the most entangled 'Entangled', just be entangled! This name is quite suitable for you. Learn to be content, do as much as you have. But some people are not content, use leverage, and get themselves entangled, owing a lot of money.

We serve all kinds of people, including those who owe money. If you are content, would you be in this situation? Can everyone grasp my logic? I buy what I can afford, and I don't buy what I can't afford. Some people are very kind and want to lend me money to buy things. I don't borrow money, and I don't lend money to others. Lest my joy be ruined by you when you don't pay me back. Can everyone understand? How much I value my inner joy!

Someone wants to take away my inner joy. That's an almost impossible task. Why is it impossible? Because I have this knowledge. What am I here to do in this world? I'm here for joy, right? I'm here to enjoy the fruits of my labour under the sun, right? I came to live out the image of God, right? Did you think I came to this world to be entangled? Brothers and sisters, be sure to learn to be content.

Learn to Work

Learning to work is closely related to your joy. Find joy in labour, learn to work. I tell you, how does work become joy? Work is so hard! Tired! Uncomfortable!

I tell everyone that work is divided into two types: The first type is repetitive work. Day after day, year after year, doing repetitive work, one day you will be replaced by robots. Repetitive work is done by robots, not by humans. This is called operational labour. Why do people feel uncomfortable doing it? Because they never improve.

Another kind of work is new things, called improvement. I do this today, and my way of doing things changes half a year later. How did it change? Because I did a lot of learning, research, and experimentation, and I improved my method. I used to do an hour's work, but today I can finish it in half an hour. I used to do an hour's work, but today I can finish it in ten minutes. Why? I researched, understood, and studied, and then finished it. One hour becomes half an hour. Oh, a face full of joy is revealed. This is the source of a person's enjoyment of work.

It is very important for a person to learn to work, especially for the young people among us, who often don't know what jobs are good and what jobs are bad. For example, my boss likes me and often takes challenging problems and throws them to me without knowing who to give them to. How do they know that they don't have the knowledge and can't fix it? They just think that the hot potato is handed over to me. How do they understand the hot potato?

Challenging work requires the most brainpower to learn and solve the problem. Because this problem is a scientific research work, a work of doing new things, so it has a very deep value. I'm not saying don't do operations, such as customer service, receiving one after another, I will do my customer service well. But besides customer service, I learn to solve new problems every day and constantly improve my work. Brothers and sisters, did you grasp the key point?

Which work is more valuable: my operation or improving my operation? Improving my work is called valuable. Brothers and sisters, I very much hope to shape everyone into a person who knows how to work. I constantly improve, using this method this time, a better method next time, and a better method after a while. It's hard not to enjoy work! You will definitely enjoy work. Once a person does not enjoy work, he cannot live well!

What is enjoyment? Enjoy your creation, that is the manifestation of your creativity. I thank my God, who has given me such knowledge, so I like to do new things and like to do challenging things. Do you ask me if I'm tired? Yes, I'm tired, but I'm tired with joy. The words invented by us Chinese are very interesting. For example, pleasant, where does the pleasure come from without pain? Living and working are both living, both are one life, that is, living and living is also working.

Did everyone listen to what I said? If you never improve day after day, year after year, and never learn new things, you should be a fool, and you should also be a person who doesn't know how to live very well, and has no joy. Without improvement, where does joy come from?

Learn Joy

The first thing is to learn to eat and drink; the second thing is to learn to enjoy; the third thing is to learn to be content; the fourth thing is to learn to work; and the fifth thing is to learn joy. Eating and drinking to indulge the flesh is not called knowing how to eat and drink, it's not the same thing. I am now talking about learning joy.

Joy is a feeling, can this feeling be controlled? Absolutely it can be controlled. But many people don't know how to control it, they only know how to struggle. People look at you and you feel uncomfortable. You say: What are you looking at? People answer: What if I look at you? These are all manifestations of ignorance. Can we learn how to rejoice today? Do you want to know how to rejoice? How difficult is it to rejoice? It's not difficult at all. I just want to rejoice, isn't that very simple?

Why struggle! Wouldn't it be over if I just rejoiced and was happy? Brothers and sisters, Joy is an internal thing, don't let external environments rob you of your joy. I dare not boast, nothing can rob me of the joy within, because my joy is what my God has given me all the days of my life, this is what God has given me. My portion is in God's hands, I want to learn to accept the portion of joy that God gives me.

Suppose I were a Joseph, and others sold me to Egypt, we can't control that! Entanglement or joy? Pain or joy? I tell you, when Joseph arrived at Potiphar's house to be a slave, he learned to rejoice. Be a good slave! If you don't to well, you're still a slave, so you might as well be a good slave. As a result, he became the chief manager of the slaves. Except for Potiphar's wife, everyone else was under his jurisdiction.

Be joyful! Can you have a good life if you are frowning all day long? Remember, people must learn to rejoice! Don't let anything affect your joy. Joy is learned. Jacob went to his uncle Laban's house, and Laban reduced his salary ten times, but he still worked happily. He would not become unhappy because his salary was reduced or increased. This is God's will. Paul is even more needless to say. In his book of Philippians, he says:

Rejoice in the Lord always. I will say it again: Rejoice! (Philippians 4:4)

Paul always told them to rejoice. Because they didn't know how to rejoice, he taught them to rejoice. Where did Paul tell them to rejoice? Paul was arrested and sent to prison, he was very joyful, and he also told everyone to rejoice. What kind of person was Paul? He was a person who knew how to live, only a person with knowledge can do this, an ignorant person cannot do this.

Find Joy in God's Will

So brothers and sisters, begin to gradually see that the great figures recorded in the Bible are all examples of joy. Cain and Lamech are examples of entanglement. Why do I want to push everyone into Mingding Destiny? Why do I want everyone to live for God? Because this is the source of joy. Why do I want everyone to start building a glorious church? Because that is the source of joy.

Moreover, when God gives someone wealth and possessions, and the ability to enjoy them, and to accept their lot, and be happy in their toil—this is a gift of God. They do not often reflect on the days of their life, because God keeps their hearts occupied with joy. (Ecclesiastes 5:19-20)

This is God's will. If I bring God out, will you still argue with me? This is God's will. Solomon's research shows that God did not create an oil inlet for us in the first place, so that people can learn to eat and drink and learn to enjoy. God gave people two hands and a brain so that they can learn to work and learn to be content.

Use your portion well, learn to work, learn to create, learn to enjoy, learn to be joyful, and then a person will live out God's glorious image in his life.

Summary

Let me summarize: In a word, this is God's will. If a person is not joyful today and not joyful tomorrow, one day cancer will find you. So we do not allow anything to rob us of the joy within. Understand? This is God's will.

Entanglement is the will of the devil on you. The devil is an entangled animal. Therefore, once the devil is attached to a person, the person will be uncomfortable. But if the Spirit of God descends on us, the Spirit of God is a spirit of joy, and we are often filled with the spirit of joy. Our spirit is satisfied in Jesus Christ. Is everyone clear?
