1. Introduction

These are the words God speaks to us. Let us first review the previous topic: Believe that you have received it, and you will receive it. This statement is utterly absolute, and when you put it into practice, there are no surprises. Truth is exclusive. If there is confusion within us, then we truly confuse the faithfulness of God's promises, no matter how many there may be in Jesus Christ.

When we believe in God, we believe in an absolute truth: God has done all that He should do, and what remains is for us to seek. This morning, I called a classmate whose coccyx was very painful. I prayed with him, and in half an hour, he was well. He was puzzled, saying, I have just come to believe in the Lord, how could this be? God's promises, no matter how many, are faithful in Jesus Christ.

Today, I want to tell you something: God said we are gods. Last Sunday when I preached, I was wondering what I would preach this week. The Holy Spirit revealed to me, God said we are gods. They say, Isn't this what the devil says? The devil also wants to be God. I really struggled within, asking, Is this permissible? The Holy Spirit said, Those who seek to promote their own name will be cursed, but those who pursue the name of God, God will magnify their name.

We walk in the will of God. Today, I will dare to speak on this topic. Let us read the scriptures carefully. If we are gods, what problems do we still have? God said we are gods; do you believe it? If you believe that you have received it, you will receive it.

2. Scripture

The Jews picked up stones again to stone him. Jesus answered them, “I have shown you many good works from the Father; for which of them are you going to stone me?” The Jews answered him, “It is not for a good work that we are going to stone you but for blasphemy, because you, being a man, make yourself God.” Jesus answered them, “Is it not written in your Law, ‘I said, you are gods’? If he called them gods to whom the word of God came—and Scripture cannot be broken— do you say of him whom the Father consecrated and sent into the world, ‘You are blaspheming,’ because I said, ‘I am the Son of God’? If I am not doing the works of my Father, then do not believe me; but if I do them, even though you do not believe me, believe the works, that you may know and understand that the Father is in me and I am in the Father.” Again they sought to arrest him, but he escaped from their hands. (John 10:31-39 ESV)

3. Prayer

Lord Jesus, please lead us to manifest your glory on earth. We long to be more like you. Please shape us with your words. In Jesus' name, Amen!

4. What is Jesus Trying to Argue?

What is Jesus arguing? Jesus said He is the Son of God. The Jews found it hard to accept. Today, when we say we are children of God, there is no dispute; but if we say we are gods, that we are to do what Jesus did, there will be much controversy. In fact, we can truly do what Jesus did. Jesus' argument is from Psalm 82:6: I said, 'You are gods, sons of the Most High, all of you.' Jesus used scripture as His argument: God said we are gods, so we do what God does.

The establishment of our church today began with emulating Jesus, doing the things He did. In earlier years, I yearned to do the things Jesus did. Today, Jesus tells us through the Bible that God calls us sons of God, and also tells us that we are gods. The Jews wanted to stone Jesus because of His words. Who was right after all? Jesus was right.

As a Christian, one must understand that they can do what Jesus did, which is what God does. Genesis chapter 1 tells us that the earth was without form and void, and darkness was over the face of the deep. And God created. Is God simply telling us that He created the world? No, we can put the words of the Bible into practice. Today, we must understand that what the Father does is what we are to do. Therefore, starting this week, we are going to promote a new round of healing and deliverance. This is to do what God does: heal and deliver. If we do what God does, God will call us gods. What grace!

5. God Says We are Gods

Last night, I argued with a sister from Nanyang. She believes that building a church requires money. She sees many preachers who are very poor, and she wants to earn money to support these preachers. I really want to change these ideas. These preachers are poor because they do not know that they are gods. Know this: Jesus was not a poor man! Jesus travelled around with twelve disciples; the expenses were high, but no one went hungry. Jesus even hired a Judas to manage His money bag; Jesus was very wealthy.

The Lord Jesus used the passage from Psalm 82:6. He agreed with the concept that we are gods. Since God says we are gods, I am simply repeating what God said. There is no problem. So, are we gods after all? Can we perform the miracles that God performs? Since Jesus uses this as an argument, why do we not accept it? If we can do what God does today, do we need to earn money to support those in the church? No. God Himself will provide.

If we truly trust in God, and can do the works of God, then money is the least of things. In the past, I vehemently opposed building God's church with a businessman's mentality. Only with a priest's mentality can you build a church.

6. Priests Represent God on Earth

The mentality of a priest and the mentality of a businessman are completely different. The mentality of God and the mentality of man are also completely different. The mentality of a priest is that my God can do all things. The mentality of a priest is to bless this generation by serving God, to bring God's blessings to the world. The mentality of a businessman is that everything requires money. From a human perspective, this is not a problem, but from God's perspective, it is a big problem. Many people think that Jesus needs people's support. What a fallacy! He created all things in heaven and earth. Does He need your support?

The biggest difference between idol worship and worshipping the true God is that idols made by human hands need human support, while our God is the true God. The true God does not need support. It is not because you donate that the pastor has a salary. God will bring those who are willing to donate. Many pastors tell me that building a church requires money and that I can go to businessmen to ask for money. I never go. Does God need businessmen? Businessmen need God! People must have the mentality and vision of God. This gospel is a great power that saves all who believe.

The universe was created through the words from God's mouth. Many pastors have the mentality of businessmen. They think they are doing business. Priests do not need to do business to earn money; they only need to bring all the good things from heaven to earth. Building a church requires God's presence. Without God's presence, only the presence of businessmen, many problems cannot be solved. Our God would not be so bored as to find businessmen to have you pray for money.

There was a very wealthy businessman in Mudanjiang who was targeted by three young men who broke into his home in the middle of the night. He was not home at the time. His wife said, Take whatever you want, just don't hurt me. When they took the things and walked to the door, they met the businessman's son. The son fought with the three robbers and was stabbed to death. When this businessman held a funeral for his son, he did not burn joss paper but burned two million RMB. But what is RMB? In the eyes of a priest of the living God, it is like joss paper! He is so rich, but did he solve the problem? No! Instead, he brought disaster. This businessman later became a monk.

The problems that a businessman's mentality can solve are very limited. Only God can solve our problems. We must reject the mentality of a businessman and have the mentality of God. God can make something out of nothing: Jesus could turn three jars of water into fine wine, and feed five thousand people with five loaves of bread and two fish. When Israel had a famine, many people starved to death, but God sent ravens to bring bread and meat to the prophet Elijah to support him. When Elijah came to a widow's house, the widow made him a small cake, but her flour and oil did not decrease at all, and they ate for several years.

Thinking about problems according to the mentality of man will not solve them. Why are there so many corrupt officials? Because they are not gods. They want to live well, so they must be greedy. After being greedy, they still cannot live well. There was a Pastor Cooke who wrote a book called The Sacred Challenge, which talks about how to build a glorious church. I read it and thought it was very good. The book described how, for a period of time, God allowed him to experience a very interesting environment and practice a faith, which resulted in the money in his family being very tight. He drove his family's car for nine months without adding gas. After praying, he could run without gas. I may stumble some people by saying these words. One year, one of our brothers, his father was listening to me speak below, and he found it hard to believe because he understood it with human logic, not by faith. People without faith certainly cannot believe it. Those with God's mentality are very good. On Friday, when I led the Bible study, my mother, Sister Qingling, had terrible pain in the back of her foot. She came over to have me pray for her. After praying for a while, the pain disappeared. How good! This is what God does. God does much more than this, so today we must constantly strive to make our lives more and more like God.

God wants to do what He does through us, so who do we represent on earth? We represent God. God said that you are gods, what a promise that is! God says that those who receive God's word can receive what God does. The Lord Jesus set an example for us. He became flesh and lived in the flesh, doing the things that God does. What a wonderful grace! If you are willing today, begin to know that your identity is that of a priest. Begin to know that you do not need to be a businessman to earn money to support the church. It is the church that brings the blessings of heaven down and blesses those businessmen, so that those businessmen can be businessmen. Even if you are a Christian businessman, you are a priest of the living God. Your destiny is not to earn money to support the church. Your responsibility is to do the things that God does on earth. At this time, our Mingding Destiny—God wants us to be the Abraham of this era—becomes a blessing to the whole earth. You must know that we have this treasure in our hearts.

Today I heard about a classmate. His father is a doctor, and he is also a doctor. His father is paralyzed in bed and has to be carried to the toilet every night, which exhausts him. So today, brothers and sisters must know that those who receive God's word do what God does. So brothers and sisters must know one thing: we are gods on earth.

7. We are gods, and therefore can do what God does.

In Singapore, the pastor of one of the largest churches was convicted and imprisoned. Some time ago, I searched and found that this pastor's profession was listed as a businessman. I was thinking, how good it is to be a pastor, wouldn't it be better to be a priest of the living God? Those priests are better than businessmen, but many people think businessmen are better than priests, thinking that priests cannot make money, but businessmen can, which is so perplexing and confusing. Brothers and sisters, today you must completely remove this businessman's mentality from within you. Start restoring the identity of a priest, and do what God does. Turning three vats of water into three vats of superior wine, one vat weighing one hundred pounds, three vats weighing three hundred pounds of top-quality Moutai, how much do you think it's worth? In fact, money is not of much use to God. Today, brothers and sisters must know that building a church does not require money, the church needs God's presence, needs the mentality of a priest, and must completely get rid of human thinking.

These past few days I have been criticizing my mother quite a bit. Recently, she met a relative of hers who runs a very large business, a decoration company, with many stores all over China. My mother said it was remarkable, but I thought, what is so remarkable about it? Recently, people who play with money, financial tycoons, and Russian financial tycoons have been controlled by the government. They manipulate this money to put it into their own pockets, and many have been arrested. So today, brothers and sisters must know that people with this kind of mentality will get into trouble sooner or later. Whoever possesses all that God does, possesses the mentality of a priest, and then possesses the mind of God, doing what God does, can be guaranteed to be a good citizen.

I was pondering one thing, why do people need money so much, like money so much? Why are they so foolish, so greedy that they end up in Qincheng Prison? If today everyone had the eyes of God, the mind of God, they would not be greedy enough to end up in prison, knowing what people truly need.

Brothers and sisters, listen to my advice: People in the world do not know God, do not read the Bible, are we not to know God, not to read the Bible? We have read the Bible, and God says we can do the things of God, so will we still be in need?

Start cultivating this concept today: I will never be in need in my life. If I will never be in need in my life, then do I still need to be greedy for money? No need.

In fact, having too much money creates many problems. You say David had so much wealth, but David really didn't value wealth that much. He knew he was to be a priest of the living God, so everyone must know that the things Jesus is to do are too wonderful.

What Jesus did in the world in three years can completely shatter the concepts within people. Today, if what I do cannot shatter the concepts within you, you should all think about it. My younger brother used to have a very difficult time doing business. He was baptized in 2012, followed me to believe in the Lord properly, and in 2013 his financial situation turned around. Why? Because I am a priest.

Today, I also encourage all brothers and sisters who lead others to believe in the Lord to do what God does like me, distributing blessings, and start allowing more people to enter into blessings.

Why can they succeed? Not because they are diligent, but because they have God's blessing. They were also diligent before, but they couldn't achieve anything no matter how much they toiled.

I am very moved to lead many brothers and sisters to believe in the Lord, but they lack the mentality of a priest within them. They can make money, but they do not have the ability to do what God does. My classmate is a surgeon, and his father is also a surgeon, but he needs to take care of his father every night. Many people do not quite understand why I let my mother live alone in a separate house. But because I am a priest of the living God, God remembers me because of me, allowing my mother to live healthily in the world.

8. Summary

It is not that God needs us, but that we need God. We must follow God's way. Building a church does not require money, it requires God's presence. What do people need to live well? Money is not the most important thing in the world. We must now begin to know what we need most now. We must now begin to have the mentality of a master, not the mentality of a slave. We should not think that money can solve everything. There are many things that money cannot solve.

We must now walk with God throughout our lives, we must do the things God does. Turn the impossible into the possible. We must walk with God throughout our lives. When we walk with God, our thoughts must be like God's, doing what God does. Cast out demons. We must do as God does. If God says we are gods, then we must believe it. If God says we are gods, then we believe it as such. Trusting in God can bless many people, whether family or classmates. God will surely make you a glorious vessel in this era. We must begin to be a blessing in this era, becoming a blessing to all nations and peoples.
