What God Has Prepared for Those Who Love Him

This chapter speaks of what God has prepared for those who love Him. From verse 1 to verse 14, it speaks of faith, and from verse 15 to the end, it speaks of love. How can faith and love be aligned? It is crucial to understand that the Christian faith is about faith and love. If you have faith coupled with love, your faith and love will surely lead you into life.

Today, let us look at the first point, starting from verse 15: what God has prepared for those who love Him. Remember, if you do not have love within you, even if you have immense faith, you will not be able to attain life. Everyone must know that faith that brings people into love is true faith.

If you love me, you will keep my commandments. (John 14:15)

You must know that what God has prepared for those who love Him is something that no heart has conceived, no ear has heard, and no eye has seen. You must understand what this refers to. What God has prepared for those who love Him. If God Himself dwells within us, what problems would you have? I often see people facing great confusion, such as chaos in their work and life. The reason is simple: on one hand, God's timing has not yet arrived, and on the other hand, there is no love within.

Without a heart that loves God, even if one can speak in the tongues of angels, it is useless. Without the love of God within, it is just a resounding gong or a clanging cymbal, useless. Can you adjust your heart to love God? I am someone who loves to cry and shed tears. Sometimes I choke up when speaking because there is a love for God within me.

When you have a heart that loves God, there will be an emotion from God. Today, we need to change the concept that believing in the Lord is just believing in a doctrine. In fact, believing in the Lord is investing emotion in God. If you invest your emotions in God, you must know that God knows you love Him. What God gives you is not something else, but Himself.

If your prayers are often not answered, you often do not see God's work, and you often do not feel God's love, I tell you, the problem lies in the fact that you do not have a heart that loves God. A heart that loves God is key. Do not say, I will love God after I have believed in the Lord for a long time, for ten or twenty years. If you do not love God when you believe, it will be difficult to love God in the days to come. A heart that loves God is developed little by little. It is an investment of emotion. Your relationship with God is a relationship of love. Therefore, what God has prepared for those who love Him is the Holy Spirit.

If you then, though you are evil, know how to give good gifts to your children, how much more will your Father in heaven give the Holy Spirit to those who ask him! Today, you must know that the Holy Spirit that God gives us is a priceless treasure. This is the first point: God gives the Holy Spirit to those who love Him.

When You Start to Love God, You Will Not Lack Love

I will not leave you as orphans; I will come to you. (John 14:18)

You must know what an orphan is. An orphan is someone who lacks love. God does not leave us as orphans. God allows us to meet Him, allowing us to be filled with a heart that loves God. When we are filled with a heart that loves God, we can receive God's love. I often meet people who say, Pastor, God does not love me. What does this statement represent? It represents that they themselves do not have love within. If they do not love God, how can they receive love?

Someone who does not have love within cannot receive love. What they receive is bitterness and hardship. If a person can live in love, it is a great enjoyment. Do you want to gain life? To gain life, you must start learning to love. Love is never about gaining, but about giving.

For God so loved the world, that he gave his only Son, that whoever believes in him should not perish but have eternal life. (John 3:16)

What is God's love? God gave his only Son so that they would not perish but have eternal life. God does not leave us as orphans because God loves us. God pours His love into our hearts, but do you have the heart to receive God's love? An orphan definitely lacks love. If you are not an orphan, you do not lack love within. This is a sense of abundance within us.

God's Spirit dwells within us. God's Spirit is love. God dwells within us, and we have a heart of love. This is why many people do not feel tired in service. Why? Because they have love within. This is why many people get up early to pray and draw near to God, receiving God's love and also loving God. Love requires sacrifice. Do not think that believing in the Lord without any sacrifice is a good thing. If you cannot pay any price, you will not gain anything. A double-minded person should not expect to receive anything from God.

Those Who Love God Obey His Word

If you love me, you will keep my commandments. (John 14:15)

Whoever has my commandments and keeps them, he it is who loves me. And he who loves me will be loved by my Father, and I will love him and manifest myself to him. (John 14:21)

If anyone loves me, he will keep my word, and my Father will love him, and we will come to him and make our home with him. Whoever does not love me does not keep my words. And the word that you hear is not mine but the Father's who sent me. (John 14:23-24)

Because the ruler of this world is coming. He has no claim on me, but I do as the Father has commanded me, so that the world may know that I love the Father. Rise, let us go from here. (John 14:30-31)

If you are someone who loves God, you must be someone who diligently keeps God's commands. If you are someone who does not diligently keep God's commands, you are someone who does not love God. Those who do not love God love the world. Those who love God, the ruler of this world has nothing in them. This world cannot do anything to them.

If someone does not love God, the love of the world is in them. If someone loves the world, the love of God is not in them. If someone loves God, the love of the world is not in them. Therefore, love makes people complete. In this world, you will find that those things you love, those emotions you place on God, you will definitely experience God's wonderful grace. If you cannot experience God's wonderful grace, you are failing yourself.

God Will Manifest Himself to Those Who Love Him

The Spirit of God is so abundant. So today, brothers and sisters, do you want to gain life? Some people have time to die but no time to live; they have time to corrupt but no time to gain life. This is a very strange phenomenon. Do you have time to believe in the Lord? No time. I have to work. Then can you help me solve my work problems? As if the Spirit of God cannot help them solve their work problems.

I see that God has helped those who love Him solve their work problems. So today, brothers and sisters, you must be someone who loves God. Although I have taken some detours in the past, my heart that loves God has never changed. From the first day I believed in the Lord, I believed in tears, and then I ran on this path together in tears, serving you in tears. Why? Because all the emotions are invested in Jesus Christ. If you love God, you will diligently keep His ways. This is the most important thing.

Confirm your feelings within. Can you diligently keep the way of God? It is very simple. When we were in university, the weather in Beijing was very cold. I often saw young men waiting for their girlfriends downstairs, standing for an hour, shivering from the cold. I asked him what he was doing. He said he was waiting for his girlfriend. That is true love. If there is love, he is willing to pay the price there.

So today, brothers and sisters, you must know that when a person loves to the extreme, they will pay all the price for it. That is love. If you say, What is love? the Bible says, if you say, I love God, but you love God half-heartedly, it is difficult for you to get anything from God.

Brothers and sisters, I must tell you that you must learn to invest your whole being, body, soul, and spirit, in loving God. Some people see their wives believe in the Lord and then compete with God for His position in her wife's heart. Can you compete with God? It is also a waste of effort. Or some husbands believe in the Lord, putting all their emotions on the Lord, and then their wives are jealous. You cannot afford to be jealous.

The Bible says that if you love your wife more than you love God, you are not worthy to be a disciple of Jesus. If you love your parents more than you love Jesus, you are not worthy to be a disciple of God. If you love your children more than you love the Lord, you are not worthy to be a disciple of the Lord. These words are particularly absolute because one of the key points is that God is love, and love is God. If you love God, you will keep His commandments. Therefore, God will manifest Himself to those who love Him. God will definitely manifest Himself to those who love Him.

I often wonder, how does God manifest Himself to those who love Him? I pondered, and then I realised that God allows those who love Him to see. If you say, Pastor, why have I never seen God? Like Sodom, they saw but did not see.

Jesus said, I am with you every day. How could you say that you did not see Him? They thought it was not Him. So today, if you have love within you, your eyes will be bright. When the love within you fills you, you will easily know what is from God and what is not from God. God will definitely manifest Himself to you.

If you ask me, why does God dwell with you in this way? Why is your prayer so effective, Pastor? I love God. I truly love God, dedicating my life completely to God, and I am willing to do anything. Later, I found that there are many brothers and sisters and many leaders in our church who serve there early and late, tirelessly. Because they love God, they shepherd God's flock, they diligently keep God's ways, and then they see God manifest Himself to them.

When God manifests Himself to them, is getting Singapore PR a problem? Is doing well at work a problem? That is not a problem at all because God manifests Himself to them all the time. So today, I encourage you to start learning to love God. If someone says, Pastor, I can only pay the price up to this point. I cannot pay beyond this limit, then who are you paying those things that exceed the love of God? God will allow the devil to take away those things you pay more than you love God.

Why don't you try it? Therefore, if you love your parents more than you love Jesus, your parents will be touched by the devil, and then you will be very conflicted, and then God will not manifest Himself to you. How miserable. I really do not know how to live without God in my life. I feel how good it is to live with God, so I will follow Jesus closely for the rest of my life and will never escape. Even if no one follows, I will still follow.

Those Who Love God Will Be Guided by the Holy Spirit

Remember this: Loving God is key! Many ask, how does the Holy Spirit guide me? It's simple! Love God, and diligently keep His commandments; that is your guidance. It is written clearly in black and white in the Bible. The Bible you read is really not that different from the one I read. If both are the Chinese Union Version, there is no difference at all. If the Bible you read and the Bible I read are the same, then it depends on who puts it into practice more.

What has happened in our church today? It is that we uncompromisingly put the words of the Bible into practice. If you say, Pastor, this area has not yet been implemented, then we will implement it next week. Pastor, that area has not been implemented. That's okay; we will implement it in the next step.

Jesus prayed all night, so next we will pray all night; Jesus prayed in the morning, so next we will pray in the morning; Jesus prayed in the morning and also in the evening, so we will pray in the morning and also in the evening. Some even suggest fasting for forty days. I think it will happen soon. If we love God in such an unbridled manner, God will reveal Himself to us, and then the Holy Spirit will guide us.

How should we explain the guidance of the Holy Spirit? He said that the Helper, the Holy Spirit, whom the Father will send in my name, will teach you all things, and will remind you of everything I have said to you. Heavens, that's wonderful! The Holy Spirit will constantly tell you, constantly guide you into all this truth. Begin to know God, begin to know life, begin to know what the essence of life is.

Therefore, the Holy Spirit is bestowed upon us in this way, working among us. I think you should be able to let go of your worries in life. As for other concerns, such as how many points to get, these are not the problem. The question is whether you have the Holy Spirit guiding you, whether you love God and diligently keep His way.

I tell you, once you love God and diligently keep His way, it becomes very simple. God will reveal Himself to you, the Spirit of God will guide you, and you will gain peace. God said, I leave you peace; my peace I give you. I do not give to you as the world gives.

Those Who Love God, Ask in the Name of the Lord, and God Will Surely Accomplish It

Do not let your hearts be troubled and do not be afraid (John 14:27). When I first entered the church, I had never read the Bible, but suddenly I saw this sentence, and the feeling of discomfort inside me surged up. I believe everyone was in a very uncomfortable state before entering the church. Then, seeing this sentence, wow, God wants to give me peace, which the world cannot give me. I want this.

So from the first day I entered the church, I began to pray: Lord, I want peace, I want peace! I longed for peace! As a result, I really got peace, and I have been at peace until today. If you want to ask for life, you must not ask like this! Lord, I want to be a millionaire. In fact, millionaires do not have peace, millionaires do not necessarily have peace, but people who have peace can become millionaires.

Then what will those who do not have peace get? They will get sickness, and they will be very painful inside! Even if you have money, you will still be painful. So today I encourage everyone to begin to understand the essence of life; the essence of life is peace and joy. If a person lives a life of entanglement, then it is all in vain no matter what he possesses.

Do you think a peaceful life is better or an entangled life is better? Of course, a peaceful life is better, isn't it? Then is a joyful life better or an entangled life better? Of course, a joyful life is better. Then do people with peace and joy create more value, or do people with entanglement and frustration create more value? Of course, people with peace and joy create more value. That is to say, a person's happiness index is all in this peace and joy, and God will give you peace.

If you loved me, you would be glad that I am going to the Father, for the Father is greater than I. I tell you, joy is so good! Our Jesus Christ has risen from the dead, ascended to heaven, and is seated at the right hand of God the Father. Why should we not rejoice? We should rejoice because our Lord Jesus has ascended to heaven and bestowed the promised Holy Spirit. His Holy Spirit guides us, so just let go of all your worries, isn't that the end of it?

You say, I can't do it; I can't let go of worries. If you insist on carrying your worries, then it is really entanglement, frustration, and hardship! In fact, God will surely give you the road ahead because the Holy Spirit is guiding you. There is a very interesting sentence here:

That is the Spirit of truth, whom even the world cannot receive, because it neither sees him nor knows him. You know him, for he dwells with you and will be in you. (John 14:17)

The Spirit of truth is not given to the world; the world cannot give it to us. The world cannot know it; the world does not know it. You say, does God not love the world, even giving His only Son to them, so that they will not perish but have eternal life? They still cannot know Him because they do not believe.

There are two kinds of people in this world: the first kind follows the logic system of the world, so if you are living in pain today, it is probably because of the world's logic system. The other kind follows God's logic system. If you have a worldly logic system in your mind, you simply cannot see God, you will not receive, and you cannot receive. The Holy Spirit is not given to those worldly people.

The Holy Spirit is given to spiritual people. How much your life changes, that's how much the Holy Spirit gives you. How much the Holy Spirit is in you, that's how much you can begin to gradually recover lost ground, until a person's whole life is completely dedicated to God. If a person's whole life is completely dedicated to God, you will be like Jesus. What will Jesus do? The ruler of this world is coming; he has no claim on me, but I do as the Father has commanded me, so that the world may know that I love the Father.

You must know that in Moses' time, God commanded Moses to do as He commanded; in Joshua's time, God commanded Joshua to do as He commanded; in Jesus' time, God commanded Jesus to do as He commanded. This is called diligently keeping and obeying God's way. If you diligently keep and obey God's way, the blessings of Deuteronomy 28:1-13 will surely come upon you.

The problem is that if people do not know that it is a blessing, how pitiful! People jump around, working themselves to death, just like the song says, I am a little bird, flying, flying, but not flying high. Tired to death, and not flying very high when they die. So today you need to know that if God lets His Spirit dwell in you, God's intention in your life is an eagle, God's intention in your life is a lion of Judah. God's intention in your life is that His children are His princes and princesses, how noble they are. So today it is a pity if people do not know God's will.

Not knowing how to diligently keep and obey God's way means not knowing how to love God. To those who love God, God gives what no ear has heard, no eye has seen, and no mind has conceived, which is God Himself. If God dwells in you, what an honor it is. Why can't we worship the dead? Because the Spirit of God dwells in you. How can you worship the dead?

The living are bigger than the dead, do you understand? The living are bigger than the dead. The dead should bow down to the living. We, the children of God, can only worship God. Therefore, let us not be troubled in our hearts. Believe in God; believe also in me, Jesus said. If you believe in God, then believe in Jesus; even if you do not believe, believe in me because of the works I have done.

Very truly I tell you, whoever believes in me will do the works I have been doing, and they will do even greater things than these, because I am going to the Father. And I will do whatever you ask in my name, so that the Father may be glorified in the Son. You may ask me for anything in my name, and I will do it.(John 14:12-14)

There are no conditions, only one condition: you must love God. If there is no love for God in a person, then they must begin to have love for God. He deserves our love more than anything else because He is the source of life; He is our very life. If a person loves God more than anything else, he will gain life and enter the way of life.

Jesus said this: I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me. Therefore, we must restore the love for God in our hearts. In the core value system of the church, loving God means paying the price. Do not think that loving God is just talking about it.

Like we say in Northeastern dialect, it's like a two-cent teapot, only the mouth is left, and it can't hold anything. Do not be such a teapot. We must bring out real things, truly love God, and pay the price, then we will surely gain life. We can clearly see among us that those who are willing to pay the price to serve God lack no good thing. Looking at the price paid by those who love God, you will say, Wow, he is really amazing; he is really awesome.

If you are willing to pay the same price as them, then you will be just as awesome because the grace that God has prepared for those who love Him is so abundant. If you want to gain life, then start paying the price to love God. Loving God is loving brothers and sisters; this is a very simple principle. If you cannot love the brother you can see, how can you love God whom you cannot see?

These are the words in the Bible, so today our church is entering a new season. This season is not just for district pastors and cell group leaders to pay the price, but for all brothers and sisters to enter into this realm of paying the price. I said this to the district pastors: Go back and tell those who cannot be transformed, issue an ultimatum to them. If they still cannot enter into this realm of paying the price, then they can directly leave. We can wait for you, but we cannot wait forever because you are failing yourselves.

If you are failing yourselves, then how can you not fail the brothers and sisters? Loving God is for your own benefit; our loving God is for our benefit. If you continue to love the world, then you cannot continue to stay among us. If anyone does not love the Lord, let that person be accursed. The road of loving God is a blessed road. Whether you take it or not is your own decision. Your destiny does not depend on your exams and work, nor does your destiny depend on your parents and children. Loving God is the way of life, so we must do what Jesus did.
