I. Introduction

It got me thinking, if a couple gets married, you know what marriage is, right? Oh, you do. After they get married, if the husband says every day, Oh, I love you so much! Oh, I love you so much, you might tell others, My husband and I have communication issues. He only knows how to say he loves me; he can't say anything else. Would you like a husband like that? Wouldn't that be frustrating? If a husband marries a wife and she says, Oh, husband, I love you so much! Husband, husband, I love you to death! and says nothing else, people would say, We don't have common topics. Can such a life work? Is that love?

If the Lord Jesus sees a Christian saying, Oh, I love the Lord, and the Lord Jesus loves me too, that would be troubling! A few days ago, I met a sister, and I told her, You don't know God at all! I struck her with that, woke her up, and she started to know God. Can you know God that way? Oh, I feel I love God so much, and I feel Jesus loves me so much. If it's all this, all this, then it's bad!

And then there's another type, Oh, going to a special conference, oh, the presence of God is so strong in this place! Is the presence of God so strong? Where is it? Don't know. Oh, I can feel God's anointing! Oh, I can feel God's presence. If I speak in this way today, please don't laugh, because they really say it like that. People who are rich in feelings speak like that. I say, this requires serious study.

A brother and a sister explained to me, Teacher, do you know? Last time I attended a certain conference, and an invisible force pushed me down. Bang! I asked, Did you break anything? Luckily, I didn't break anything, thank God I didn't break anything, I really fell down. Why? Because I never fall down. When I tell people, they say, Teacher, it's not like that, he really fell down. Then I have to accept that you really fell down, and I really didn't fall down. Later, he asked me, Can you tell me what that was? What can I tell you? I said, After you fell down, what happened? You got up, and weren't you still the same old you? Besides being older, nothing else changed.

If you fall down every time you attend a meeting, then just fall, but if you ask me why you fall down, how would I know? They just like doing that. It's no use talking to you. Why? Because from the time I was little, I never thought that stuff was useful. From the time I was little, I thought a person should study hard and have understanding. If your understanding is not clear, today it's this, tomorrow it's that, I think you'll definitely be deceived by people in the church before long. Either deceived into PTP by church people, or deceived into multi-level marketing, or deceived into who knows where, there are even some deceived to go to Jerusalem, all sorts of things.

Oh, teacher, look, there's a very powerful prophet! He came among us, and that sister's legs were shaking and wouldn't stop. Ah, wouldn't stop? I asked, Then what happened? I'm not very good at talking, and I tend to leave people speechless when I speak. Later, wasn't she still the same old way? Just like that, nothing changed. I said that calling her the same old way is like cursing someone, but really, she was still the same. Really, what's the use of that stuff? Some people even really have miracles following them, I've seen it myself. What is that?

Early on, when I was building the church, I'm telling you, I really saw it. At a certain moment, his hair, pop! It all stood up. If you measured his height, it would definitely be five centimeters taller. His hair really stood up, and when he prayed, the illness really was healed. Oh, I'm relying on faith, is he relying on his hair standing up or not? Some people type that it's called frizzing out. Later I asked him, Why don't you evangelize and bring your wife to church?

I thought bringing his wife to church would increase the number of people, that's about the level I was at then. He said, That won't work. I said, Why won't it work? Because my hair never stands up at home. I said, With your puny self, if your hair stood up at home, your wife would kick you out of bed immediately. Believe that or not? Definitely kicked out of bed. The hair stands up, but it stands up on the floor, right? Frizzing out? Can you dare to frizz out in front of your wife? You try frizzing out in front of your wife? Someone like him definitely can't frizz out.

These things, in my experience, there are plenty of them, and these things create plenty of confusion! Also, gold dust appears on your hands when you pray, do we have any of that among us? I've had it too, others have had it too. I'm not very interested in these things. Because after that gold dust appears, so what? Nothing happens. I don't know how, but gold dust really does appear, and frizzing out really does happen, and gold teeth really happen. It's all these things.

Some time ago, I even received a video, in a certain church, they took a picture and captured many angels flying in the church, wow, it was incredible. I haven't seen angels in the church. I often see ghosts in the church. People think I'm a bit strange, but I'm telling you, it might not really be angels. So what am I talking about today? It's about whether these things exist. Yes, they do. Falling down, really falling. Does gold dust appear? Yes. Do gold teeth appear? Yes. Do sariras exist? Yes, they do. Are there all sorts of strange things, like frizzing out or not frizzing out? Yes. But, that's not the gospel! That's not the truth! That's just a phenomenon.

Do you know that in Chinese Mingding Destiny theology, some people release it with a burp when they pray? Hey, can that burp become truth? Have I ever said Chinese Mingding Burping Theology? Is there such a thing? Chinese burping theology, that would be awful! Burping is just a phenomenon. So I'm telling you, even if I am taken to the third heaven, what's the use of me coming back to tell you? No use, it's still better for you to have clear understanding.

So the faith I'm talking about today is having sufficient faith in your understanding, that's the faith of Abraham, the faith of Isaac, the faith of Jacob, the faith of Joseph. Everyone understands now, right? You need to know that there are some things in the Bible that make people stumble, don't argue with me about that. Because Jesus Christ came as a stumbling stone. Someone typed, What about burping and farting? Then would that be called Chinese Burping Farting Theology? That would be interesting, let's not talk about that.

Recently, a brother was desperately reading the Book of Acts. He came back and told me, Teacher, the first few chapters of the Book of Acts are quite toxic. Ah, I said, he is learning to be like me lately. Why are the first few chapters of the Book of Acts so toxic? The reason is simple, he recorded the phenomenon at that time. Who recorded that phenomenon? Luke recorded it. Luke wrote the Gospel of Luke, and he also wrote the Book of Acts. When did he write the Book of Acts? You need to know. It was when Paul was arrested in Jerusalem and imprisoned for two years, and then escorted from Jerusalem to Rome. Luke followed Paul all the way, and when he arrived in Rome, Luke wrote the Book of Acts. Doesn't it start with Most excellent Theophilus?

Some say that Theophilus was a lawyer who defended Paul. Luke's writing style in the Book of Acts is very clever. If you don't read it carefully, it seems like he's praising Peter, but he actually criticizes Peter severely without using a single dirty word, completely flattening Peter. When Paul was escorted to Rome, Paul's entire theological system had already been completely established. At that time, he had not only written Galatians and Romans, but also many other letters. During that period, he began to write Colossians and Ephesians. Everyone understands now, right?

So, at that time, Luke actually had a very clear understanding of Peter, James, and these people. It's just that we ordinary readers of the Bible didn't read it that way. That clear understanding recorded a period of church history where the church messed up badly. Starting from the Book of Acts, Pentecost, the Holy Spirit descended, and then later there was a whole bunch of things: five thousand people believed in the Lord, three thousand people believed in the Lord, and then the whole church started selling their property, collecting offerings, and then everyone gathered together to eat. That was living a communist lifestyle for a while. So it recorded a period of church history where the church messed up badly, and that's too confusing.

Did those who believed in the Lord, three thousand or five thousand people, those people were saved? They were not saved, they were troublemakers. Later, a large number of Pharisees came out of these three thousand or five thousand people who caused trouble. The church was messed up by these people. Then they wanted to save many people's souls, were they saved? I ask you, were these people saved? Who knows? Heaven knows, earth knows, you don't know, I don't know. So selling property for offerings, living a communist lifestyle, eating and drinking together, is that having clear understanding? That's not having clear understanding! Can eating and drinking together produce faith? It can't produce faith either. So those people thought the Lord was coming again soon, so let's eat, drink, play, and mess around, but he didn't come. The houses were sold, and then they lived in poverty, wouldn't you say that's messing around?

And today there are many who are similar to that era, like going to Jerusalem, the Lord is coming again, anyway, all this is meaningless, waiting for the Lord to come again, going to Jerusalem to sell property, but the Lord didn't come, and their faith completely collapsed. So the Book of Acts recorded a very interesting thing, the couple Ananias and Sapphira sold their property to offer, and died on the spot. Why did you lie to the Holy Spirit? They died on the spot, and many people were afraid. Do you think this is normal? Is our God such a God? Actually, I was very confused for so many years, and even today, many churches say, You have to go to Jerusalem, then you have to give offerings. Ananias has already died, I don't want to die. What kind of logic is that?

Then everyone began to eat together, and Peter said a very crude thing. If you ask me how Ananias died, who knows? Was it done by the Holy Spirit or by an evil spirit? No one can say for sure. But many people attribute this to God. What kind of logic is that? Managing the meals, Peter said that we shouldn't be managing the meals, and then they chose seven deacons.

Everyone remember, Chinese Mingding Destiny theology is not very willing to learn this passage, although many business schools regard this passage as a classic, a classic of church revival. We regard it as the beginning of church corruption. The difference is too big! Listen if you can, good luck if you can't. As a result, they chose seven deacons to manage the meals. The problem is that the founder of the Nicolaitans, Nicolas, was one of the seven deacons! You say, what kind of people were they choosing?

These seven deacons managed the meals, but Stephen, one of the seven deacons, didn't manage the meals either, and went everywhere preaching the gospel. When I saw this, oh my god, this period of church history is a history of chaos. Was it done by God? Or was it done by Peter? Oh my god, as a result, Stephen was arrested and gave a long speech, arguing from Abraham onwards.

I thought about this Stephen later, you managed the meals quite chaotically! That passage talked about Peter saying, Young men will see visions, and old men will dream dreams. To this day, they haven't seen any visions or dreamed any dreams. Don't you think this is confusing? This is full of confusion. I'm telling you, through this passage, I understand what it means to mess around blindly. Without understanding, where does understanding come from? But the apostle Paul's theological system is one of being filled with the knowledge of God's will in understanding. Of course, they performed miracles, and later they did more of these things.

As a result, Peter was praying there, praying and saw a vision, and then saw a sheet descending from heaven, and there were many unclean things in it, and God said, Get up and eat! He said, I can't eat! Then he saw a vision, and then someone outside invited him to preach the gospel to Cornelius, and Cornelius was a Gentile. He went to Cornelius to preach the gospel, and when he came back, he was questioned. Many people asked, Why did you go? Unclean. Who asked? It was those three thousand or five thousand people who Peter was preaching to. Don't you think that's a very corrupt beginning? As a result, after being questioned, Peter's understanding was not very good, he didn't study, didn't like to study, and wasn't very clear about God's will! Then he was arrested not long after. After being arrested, an angel rescued him from prison. Do you think this logic will have problems?

Luke's writing of the Book of Acts is too amazing, too subtle. Peter stopped preaching the gospel to the Gentiles from then on, we know this, he became an apostle to the Jews. The vision he saw before, the preaching of the gospel to Cornelius before, the calling of God to him to preach the gospel to the Gentiles, all gone! Wouldn't you say that his understanding was not clear? His understanding was definitely not clear. Why? Because look, if I preach the gospel to Cornelius, I become unclean, and then I get arrested. If people connect it like that, then it's definitely a tragedy! I ask you, the pastors we see today, I'm telling you, there are many of this kind that I see! Many are interpreting it blindly like that.

Why didn't he preach the gospel to the Gentiles anymore? Because from then on he knew, if I preach the gospel to the Gentiles, it seems that God is not pleased. Why is God not pleased? Because I was arrested afterwards, and after I was arrested, an angel saved me from prison, then I can't preach the gospel to the Gentiles anymore. As a result, God was really helpless! Wouldn't you say that this Peter, whose brain wasn't very good, was deceived? Why? Because he didn't have sufficient faith in his understanding, and he relied entirely on his inner feelings and became an apostle to the Jews, and then he talks about this today, and that tomorrow, one moment he talks about angels having greater power, it's all these things. Do you think his understanding can be good? It can't be good.

Then talking about angel worship, including Peter, James, and Jude, they all talk about these things. Saying they have greater power, do they really have greater power? Actually, it's nonsense! Hearing God's voice, seeing visions, dreaming dreams, it's all these things. This is being confined to what is seen. And there is no faith in understanding, it's all seeing. Look at Peter, he saw those unclean things descending from heaven, did he see them? He saw them. Was it useful to see them? If your understanding is not clear, it's useless, even if you see a hundred, a thousand, ten thousand, it's useless. Relying on feelings, without faith in understanding, it's useless. Does everyone understand what I'm saying? So the Book of Acts in that era deviated from the vision of God calling him, and as a result, people deviated from the word of God!

So the problem of understanding is a fundamental problem, and knowing God is a fundamental problem. The Bible says it very clearly. What does the Bible say? The Bible says, Man shall live by every word that comes from the mouth of God! Man lives by faith. It says it very clearly. But man lives by every word that comes from the mouth of God, man lives by faith, wouldn't you say that's faith in understanding? If the Bible said, Not living by the word of God, but living by human feelings, living by human visions, man must live by hearing God's voice, that would be completely ruined. Understood? So our brothers and sisters need to start to understand, it's easy for people to deviate from the word of God. Why? Because their brains don't work well, it's easy for people to deviate from the word of God.

For example, the moment you promote the power of God, you become superstitious. Does that happen? Some people, Wow, the power of God! And then they become superstitious, like a great shaman. The moment you promote wisdom and understanding, you bring out all the Greek philosophy and Chinese studies. Actually, is that wisdom? That's elementary school. The moment you talk about loving God, you push people into religious rituals. The moment you talk about doing practical things, you immediately enter into loving the world. You say, this is really difficult for God! Really difficult, isn't it? People are like that, either leaning to the left or leaning to the right, not walking the right path. Today, we Chinese Mingding Destiny Theology, we must go into understanding: to be filled with the knowledge of God in understanding; to be filled with the knowledge of God's will in understanding; to have sufficient faith in understanding, absolutely not a feeling.

For example, in the past years in the church, one of my pastors said something very interesting, he said, You can't cast out demons recklessly! Because people still have loopholes, because if there are loopholes, demons will come in! Have you heard these words before? I said at the time, Oh my god! My whole body is not a loophole, my whole body is a sieve, full of holes, my whole body is full of holes, how many demons must have come in? I said, What is this saying? My whole body is full of loopholes. When will there be no loopholes? I think it's only when you're in the coffin, that the loopholes will finally be blocked, and you'll finally become a complete person in the coffin. You say, what kind of reasoning is that? I can't stand hearing this, it's said everywhere, the whole church is like this. Don't you think people are afraid?

I said, When you first believe in the Lord, weren't you a big sieve? Even if you're a small sieve after believing for a long time, aren't you still alive? What's there to be afraid of? Can't God manage it? Some people say, Oh, you can't pray in tongues, you have to be careful praying in tongues, demons will come. You say, how can demons come just from praying in tongues? This is all releasing these things, this is all called not having faith in understanding. In the church, my former pastor was even better, saying, You can't lay hands to pray, if you lay hands, demons will really jump onto you. Really? I'm telling you it's true. Is that the word of God? That's not faith in understanding, that's a person's experience! You say how easily people talk nonsense. I'm the kind of person who doesn't accept this, I don't accept this set of things, I don't care about that! What's there to be afraid of a sieve?

I'm even smaller than Peter at the time, Jesus Christ called twelve disciples and sent them out to preach the gospel, heal the sick, and cast out demons, their eyes were much bigger than mine, I should be smaller than their eyes. They could cast out demons, why can't I? Because I cast out demons in the name of Jesus. Once when I was casting out demons, the demon spoke to me, Actually, you have many loopholes. Put this theory into use, did you think I was stupid? I'm telling you, little demon, I'm not relying on myself to cast out demons at all, I'm relying on the name of Jesus Christ to cast out demons, you get out of here, you little demon, you bring out loopholes, do you think I'm afraid of you? You bring out your family’s sieve, do you think I’m afraid of you? You bring out your family’s funnel, you bring out your family’s sieve, you bring out your family’s loopholes, even if you bring out a broken door, it's no use, I cast out demons in the name of Jesus. What happened to the demon? Scared, right?

Later, the arm of the person who was being exorcised got better, but I couldn't lift my arm. Then someone said, See, the demon jumped onto you, right? Do you think I'm afraid of that? How familiar am I with the words of the Bible, right? Anyway, I had nothing to do by myself, there wasn't as much service in the church as there is today, so I slowly prayed there! I put my hand on the stool, and then I couldn't lift it up, so I squatted down, and after praying for two months, I lifted my arm up. From then on, I'm telling you, anything like arms, necks, spines, waists, legs, those demons were intimidated when they saw me. You must have sufficient faith in your understanding. What can't laying hands do? What happens when you lay hands? Your arm can't be lifted up. Then it was lifted up again later, so what? That's called victory!

There was a pastor who was very interesting. When this pastor was young, he cast out demons, and as he cast out demons, his child was killed by demons. From then on, he stopped casting out demons. When he was very old, his wife, with a body full of illnesses, came to me, I led his wife in prayer, and after ministering, his wife got better. As a result, this pastor started talking demon talk: Oh, you have to be careful! Careful about what? I'm telling you, I said, If, if my son died after I cast out demons, I would continue to cast out demons, why? Because that's what Jesus did, casting out demons, he cast himself onto the cross, so what? He would continue to cast out demons! I am filled with emotion!

There was also a famous person in church circles, when I was taking his class, he walked to my desk, he knew I was a pastor who cast out demons, he said, Pastor Liu, casting out demons is useless. Casting out demons is useless? What kind of brain is that? I really wanted to punch him, so I glared at him, it doesn't matter, I glared at him, if he saw it, he saw it, if he didn't see it, I pretended I didn't glare. What demon talk? He said, Casting out demons is useless, because they come back after they are cast out. Is that logic? After Jesus cast out those people's demons, they came back, does that matter? It doesn't matter at all. So later there was this theory that casting out demons is useless. I'm telling you, not that it's useless, because the truth that sets people free can make people free. But if you don't cast out demons, how can you receive the truth? After he casts out demons, he receives the truth, after receiving the truth, he casts out demons again, and receives the truth again, isn't that how they are released?

So everyone knows, how do we do it? After I cast out demons, I teach immediately, after teaching, I cast out demons immediately, that's how we do it. So today our brothers and sisters gradually understand. Someone typed, Eating is useless, you're full today, but you'll be hungry tomorrow. What kind of demon talk is that? I feel that there are all kinds of people and all kinds of things in the church, but there is a lack of faith in understanding. Today everyone needs to know the words I'm going to say, there is a lack of faith in understanding! How important is faith in understanding! Today we're still reading Colossians, let's start talking about the second point, this introduction has been talked about for more than thirty minutes, this introduction is long enough, but everyone should have enough after listening to the introduction, let's listen to the paper below, let's publish the paper.

IV. The Context of the Scripture

Now, the context of this scripture, as discussed last time, will be revisited again. You might find this repetitive, but do not be startled. Hearing it a hundred times shouldn't be excessive. Why? Because with our level of comprehension, we need multiple repetitions. Some may ask, Are you underestimating me? Not at all; I am underestimating myself. So, the context of this scripture is that some people use flowery language.

Can such flowery language deceive Christians, you ask?

I ask you, if a beggar walks into the church off the street, and the church looks at you and says, Someone like you, preaching? Get out, get out, get out, and chases him away, a beggar. If someone looks like a disheveled monk, wearing a tattered hat, covered in dirt, wanders in, they say, Get out, get out, get out. Because the people who come in are impressive. Those who come in must first be eloquent, speaking like I do. But truly, I am not deceiving you. This is where flowery language takes effect. I tell you, I saw a vision, I saw an angel, I saw this and that. And when everyone hears this, do you know what they feel? Wow! A master! Isn't it? A master. Few people ask, Did you really see it?

If I were there, I'd say, Doesn't seem like it. Someone like you can see that? Actually, there are other talents. For example, if someone sees a cloth descend from the sky or has an out-of-body experience, everyone will think, Wow, an out-of-body experience. Doesn't it seem mystical? A master! Ha, a master. Then God says, Arise, handle it, kill it and eat it. I say, God, this is unclean. Does this story have factual support? Yes. With factual support, there are angels, out-of-body experiences, this and that. Incredible. You don't believe it? You have to believe it, don't you? You must be convinced. There really was a Cornelius. People say, Yes, yes, it really happened, I was there at the time.

So, is this truth? Is this comprehension? This is called flowery language. What else would you call it? And, you know, deliberately being humble, worshiping angels, being unduly arrogant. Then it continues, it says, this flattery is powerful. Later I was arrested, and I confessed my sin, that I shouldn't have been defiled, so the angel came and rescued me from prison. Does this story sound like it's deceiving people? It is deceiving. Jews are not allowed to deal with Gentiles; dealing with Gentiles would lead to imprisonment, it is unclean. Then people say, What about the vision you saw? I saw it wrong. Anyway, it's this whole set of things, self-imposed humility, harsh treatment of the body. Then they make a lot of regulations, Do not handle, do not taste, do not touch.

Do you understand now? Perhaps my compilation isn't entirely accurate, but I encourage everyone to explore diligently. What I am saying should be reasonable. I tell you, Paul wrote the Book of Colossians, saying, Lest anyone should deceive you with flowery words. Ordinary people cannot be deceived. Today, in our comprehension, we must begin to have full assurance of understanding. That is, knowing very clearly what Jesus we believe in is all about. We must know the salvation of Jesus Christ in our understanding, we must receive Jesus Christ in our understanding, and follow His way, being rooted and built up in Him, firm in faith, rooted and built up in His way.

Why do so many people like to pursue seeing visions, hearing God's voice, and having these dreams? I tell you why? Because they don't have to put in the effort to study. Isn't it? Is it necessary to put in the effort to study? It is not necessary to put in the effort to study. It is easy. Kneeling on the ground for seven hours, then praying in tongues. Is that easy? It is easy. But they do not put effort into the truth, they cannot be filled with the knowledge of God's will in their understanding.

I know that the Apostle Paul was a man who loved to study, the Apostle Paul was truly someone who was proficient in Genesis and the Old Testament. He knew these things very clearly, and he also knew what God's will was. Therefore, he wrote so much, allowing us to read the Book of Colossians today. So, these things entice people, then lead them away from the confidence of understanding, leading them away from the true way of Christ. Therefore, today we must know how these things corrupt people.

You see, what to eat, what not to eat, even today the church is still doing this. Keeping the Sabbath, festivals, new moons, Sabbaths, it's all these things. Why are you so unlucky today? Because you haven't kept the Sabbath. I ask you, if I told you this, would you keep the Sabbath? You certainly would keep it. Isn't that how it is? Because people want to get out of bad luck. But the thing about bad luck is a problem with demons; it cannot be solved by keeping the Sabbath.

If I said, I see you're so unlucky, why? Because you're not circumcised. Oh dear, then circumcise, circumcise a little more, and the bad luck will be cut away. Is it useful? It's useless, utterly ineffective. Therefore, brothers and sisters, starting today, don't be deceived anymore. Don't be deceived, listening to these things is so confusing.

If someone says, I dreamed last night that you should marry me. Teacher, but I am already married, what should I do? But I dreamed last night that you would marry me, God told you to marry me. It sounds scary, doesn't it? Then get divorced, what else can you do? Get divorced and marry me. Don't believe these words, even if I tell you, don't believe it, it's pure nonsense! Dreaming, why didn't I dream it? Therefore, today, brothers and sisters, do not be deceived by flowery language anymore.

V. No Longer Deceived by Flowery Language

The Book of Acts, I just talked about it a little, I'll repeat it again. The deceptiveness of the Apostle Peter is very strong, he also wrote a voluminous First Peter and Second Peter, and James also wrote several pages of James. The problem comes, do those things sound like flowery language if you read them carefully? You may not be able to read it out. I tell you, Peter especially likes to talk about his experiences of being out of his body, The Book of Acts records one such instance. Actually, when he talked about it everywhere, he talked about it more than once, he talked about it many times.

I myself have done experiments. What experiments have I done? When I talk about these things, ah, how I did this and that, how I went to heaven, and then I went to what, everyone is fascinated. Is there? Fascinated. Ah, I prayed for a sister that day. Wow, thump, fell to the ground, and then couldn't breathe, and then I desperately prayed and prayed and prayed, and then she came back, and then she woke up. After waking up, she told me that she went to hell, and then she heard what. She was shouting in her heart, we couldn't hear it. She was shouting, Don't stop praying. We continued to pray and she came back. Does this story sound good? If you listen to this all day, can your brain work well? The brain cannot work well.

Therefore, brothers and sisters today, talking about this stuff, alas, I am also forced to do so. I have to say a little, otherwise people will feel like there is no story, and everyone will be done listening. But, I tell you, that is not the way. I am now talking about having full assurance of understanding. What is understanding, what kind of understanding? It is having clear knowledge in your mind, knowing how you should believe. I have to talk about it, it's your fault if you are misled.

Therefore, Peter's stuff is pretty powerful. What soul wandering outside of the body and seeing angels, how, hearing God speak to him. It is the same way, not reading the Bible properly. Peter does not understand the Old Testament Bible. Why? He can't read, how can he read? At that time there was no tape recorder, no internet, no MP3, and he had to rely on people to read to him. People read to him when they were free, and people did not read to him when they were not free. How can he work? Peter cannot read or write, he is such a person. Oh dear, after thirty years, he must have earned several degrees. Starting from elementary school, he has already earned a doctorate. But after thirty years, he still cannot read.

So I think, today, brothers and sisters must know that there is a lot of flowery language in just talking about these things. It can be talked about in a set, but the foundation is unstable. Do you understand? Therefore, the first few chapters of the Book of Acts, if I have the opportunity to check with you again, that should be pretty good. It's all fooling. Because we can't blame Peter either, Peter was also fooled. But if you are fooled, you don't know it. Then you have to do this job, so we mess it up.

VI. Rooted and Built Up in Christ Jesus

I think, let's not defend Peter, who do you blame? Who made you like this. What is rooted and built up? It is to be full of knowing God with your understanding. Today we say, you have to read Genesis, I have been talking about Genesis recently, the latest version of Genesis, I feel that I have new reception, Genesis is really good. What is Genesis? I tell you, many things in Genesis are foundational. In fact, if you have a copy of Genesis, you should understand God's will. Therefore, Paul quoted Genesis scriptures extensively.

Therefore, the faith in understanding, listen today, write it down. The faith in understanding is the faith of Abraham, Isaac, Jacob, and Joseph. Do you understand? Faith in understanding, who to imitate in understanding? Abraham, Isaac, Jacob, Joseph. If you come into contact with me, I often use Genesis, I like it. In the process of understanding, it is called striving hard. Remember, if people do not strive hard, they will be slapped in the end.

To be rooted and built up, Genesis is the foundation of the entire Bible. In fact, Jacob is someone who still maintains his faith in God in understanding when he encounters setbacks. He clearly knows what he believes in. What exactly is the birthright he is pursuing? If an ordinary person, standing in Jacob's position, encounters the same thing as Jacob, they will be confused at first glance. Right? Jacob is not confused. Those things that are not understood must be careful and must be overcome. Be sure to cultivate deeply and build up so that our love has roots and foundations, so that our faith has roots and foundations, and we will no longer be confused.

So today, brothers and sisters, we must know that Chinese Mingding Destiny is a theology of understanding, not a theology of feeling. In fact, these traditional evangelicals criticize these charismatics for these things that are done by feeling. Can you understand that? There are so many messy things that have been done.

VII. Returning to the Inside of the Faith of Understanding

Returning to the inside of the faith of perception, I will give you a suggestion today, write this sentence down, whether you are good at English or Chinese, write this sentence down. If you can understand Chinese. See what the Bible says about an event. Can you say why? If you don't know what the Bible says, it's in trouble. I am a person of understanding. For example, if I do accounting, my understanding is clear. I know the basic accounting principles. If you ask me to gesticulate and talk about it, I will definitely gesticulate to you not too outrageous. Because I really learn, really read, and really work hard. I don’t follow my feelings, I don’t really care about whether I have feelings. But I care about what the principle of this thing is. I really don’t like patting my head. For example, what is anointing? Everyone feels that anointing has become metaphysics. Today, brothers and sisters, do you know that anointing seems to be invisible, untouchable, and seems to be a very mysterious thing? Does everyone have this feeling? wow! This pastor has a lot of anointing. I said, what is anointing? Why is there so much anointing? Not many people have explained it to me clearly.

Once I attended a special meeting. Someone said, you also attend special meetings? Under other people's eaves, can you not attend? Everyone has to know that I am a good boy! As a result, the pastoral couple who lived in the same unit with me at this special meeting, one had a twenty-year-old lumbar spine disease, and the other had depression, unable to eat or sleep. The special meeting didn’t care either. Later, I saw him staggering back from outside. I led him in prayer and he was released. His pastor didn’t care either. He still had a bigger pastor above him. Later, I, an unknown person, took care of it. In my understanding, I felt that they all felt that the pastor who came from the United States was very anointed. What anointing? What is anointing? What kind of anointing is it?

Anointing, gifts, what prophecies, dreams, visions, in fact, these are of no effect on dealing with the evil desires of the flesh. What is talked about are festivals, rules, this cannot be touched, that cannot be taken, that cannot be eaten. But today I encourage everyone to return to the faith of understanding. That is, can we say it clearly? Don't make it unclear, and if you can't say it clearly, just let it be. If one thing is not clear today, two things are not clear tomorrow, and then another thing is stacked on top that is not clear, and then a bunch of unclear things, followed by a bunch of unclear things. Are you saying this is not fatal? Are you saying it will kill you?

If you do this, everyone below will be frightened. Right? This understanding is not clear. Everything is done mysteriously, and to put it bluntly, it really looks like a cult. Okay, brothers and sisters, let’s begin to know that our God is a wealthy God. If the church is built according to God's will, the church will not be poor. If people build the church according to their own ideas, like Peter, the church in Jerusalem, no matter how much money you give it, it will be a poor place.

VIII. Believing in Understanding That You Can Overcome Through the Lord

Believing in our understanding that we can overcome through the Lord, because our God has led all the rulers and authorities captive and made a public spectacle of them, triumphing over them by the cross. All the fullness of deity dwells in bodily form in Jesus Christ. Therefore, brothers and sisters, we must begin to believe in our understanding that we can overcome through the Lord. Therefore, today when I pray, those who say they are unlucky, I tell you, you can definitely overcome. As long as you are willing to return to the path of faith. Because only the path of faith can overcome. Only by faith can you overcome through the Lord. Get rid of those unlucky things and those evil spirits.

If a person trusts in God, he must carefully observe and follow God's word and act according to God's word. Then God's word will surely take root in us. Many of us are still frivolous. Why are you unlucky? You are frivolous. You are walking the path of Peter. Today, I always want to do something quickly, and get something done. The best way to do it is to overcome through the Lord in understanding.

Today you are unlucky, because you always have some things that are deceived by ghosts in your understanding. You must start working hard. So why am I talking about this today? I just wish that brothers and sisters could let go of that kind of thing that can be done well and finished all at once, and want to become rich all at once and solve problems all at once. It is better to worship idols. Believing in the Lord is not like this. It must be cultivated deeply and built up on the truth little by little.

Those who could not speak in the past, start learning to speak today. Little by little, if there are thirty years of life left, you can earn several degrees. Isn't it? Thirty years! If you don’t want to make up your mind, don’t want to study, and always want to escape, how can you overcome in your understanding? The laziness must be dealt with, the opportunistic bad habits must be dealt with, and you must constantly learn and grow and cultivate deeply in the truth! Amen!
