Leviticus Bible Study List

Introduction

The theme of Leviticus chapter 4 is: There is a price to pay for sin. Why do people not live well? Why do they experience so much entanglement, suffering, frustration, cancer, and various illnesses? Who is to blame? You cannot blame the moon, nor the sun, nor Mars, nor Jupiter. They are all far away, tens of thousands of miles away from you. So who is to blame?

You might say, I'll blame Sun Wukong. Well, then blame Sun Wukong. He wouldn't know anyway, just because he is Sun Wukong. The problem is that blaming this or that is useless. Ultimately, you have to pay the price yourself. So, there is a price to pay for sin. You might say, I sin today and sin tomorrow, and nothing happens! Foolish child, curses have a time delay.

A few days ago, one of our sisters had a large shadow in her aunt's lung. The whole family was in chaos. Think about her grandparents, who are still alive and in their 80s. It is very painful for older people to see their child with a shadow in their lung. As the saying goes: Losing a child in old age, losing a spouse in middle age – the former being a great blow to the elderly; the latter also being a great blow. What is the matter with getting sick? It is the price paid for sin. You might say that those people do not believe in Jesus. Actually, regardless of whether one believes in Jesus or not, there are things in this world called sin, and sin has a price.

If you study carefully, you will find that people who get this cancer or that cancer have a certain set of things in their character and bones. For example, Lin Daiyu suffered from a lung disease because she was idle and sentimental, and she wrote sad poems. Everyone knows about Daiyu burying flowers. It describes Lin Daiyu's sad feelings. Sadness hurts the lungs. If people are often sad, they are prone to lung disease.

Unfortunately, no one takes out the lungs in sacrifices to offer on the altar. If you study carefully, you will find that people with lung problems all have a Lin Daiyu complex in their bones. If you have a Lin Daiyu complex, and you are idle and engage in nonsense and suffering, then when you suffer from lung cancer and your body has problems, you deserve it. Who told you to be sad when you have nothing to do? Another situation is that anger hurts the liver. If people are often angry, they are prone to liver damage.

Later, I observed many phenomena. For example, people with diabetes are easily provoked emotionally. In fact, many diseases are related to our emotions, our emotions are related to our internal logic system, and our internal logic system is related to ghosts and the spiritual realm. If people sin and do not follow God's Word, there is a price to pay.

Moses in the Bible is my role model. I long to be like Moses. Moses reached the age of 120, and his eyes were not dim, and his legs were still very strong, because Moses did not sin often, and he saw through many things. The Israelites were so annoying, constantly provoking Moses, but Moses' emotions were still very stable, so Moses was still very strong when he was old.

So I have to work hard to learn from Moses and deal with my temper. Although sometimes I cannot control it, I must continue to work hard. If you think carefully, you will find that a person's happiness index has nothing to do with status or money, but with sin. People who sin a lot cannot live well, because people who often sin attract ghosts and have many disasters. Therefore, the concept of sin must be established. There is a price to pay for sin.

Christians Must Learn to Subdue Sin Throughout Their Lives

Sin is crouching at your door; you must subdue it. If you cannot subdue sin, you will suffer yourself. For example, sin was crouching at Cain's door. Cain did not subdue sin, but sin subdued Cain, and as a result, Cain lived in pain. Whether a person lives well or not depends entirely on the feeling inside. If your feeling is not good, you will not live well; if your feeling is good, you will live very well.

But how difficult it is to create a good feeling! Therefore, the key to solving the problem of living well lies in solving the problem of sin. If sin dwells in a person and attracts entangled ghosts, you will be entangled; if it attracts sad ghosts, you will be sad; if it attracts worrying ghosts, you will worry. If you are entangled, sad, and worried all day long, you will eventually develop lung cancer. Therefore, the problem that people have to solve in their lives is the problem of sin.

Cain did not solve the problem of sin. He felt that he had no problem, and that Abel was the root of the problem. Many people in the world suffer because they do not know that they have problems or do not think that they have problems. Some people think that Cain was very powerful, building a city and becoming a strong man in the world, and his descendants were also very powerful, but it was all useless. If we carefully study the famous people in the world, they all live very hard, including many powerful, influential, and wealthy people today. They seem to be glamorous, but you do not know their hardships.

Sin has a price, which is consistent with the concept put forward in Leviticus chapter 4. Why did Jesus become our atoning sacrifice and our sin offering? Because if we want to solve our sins, we must attribute them to Jesus. Why were your diseases healed even though you had not completely dealt with your sins?

It is because you are willing to repent and accept Jesus Christ, and then the precious blood of Jesus Christ is on you, covering all your transgressions. Your sins are attributed to Jesus Christ, and you are healed. Sins are big and small, and sin is deadly, but if people are unwilling to repent, it is difficult to be healed.

People Must Offer Sin Offerings When They Sin

The Lord said to Moses, “Say to the Israelites: ‘When anyone sins unintentionally and does what is forbidden in any of the Lord’s commands— if the high priest sins, bringing guilt on the people, then he must bring to the Lord a young bull without defect as a sin offering for the sin he has committed. He is to present the bull at the entrance to the tent of meeting before the Lord. He is to lay his hand on its head and slaughter it there before the Lord. Then the high priest is to take some of the bull’s blood into the tent of meeting and dip his finger into the blood and sprinkle some of it seven times before the Lord, in front of the curtain of the sanctuary. The priest shall then put some of the blood on the horns of the altar of fragrant incense that is before the Lord in the tent of meeting. The rest of the bull’s blood he shall pour out at the base of the altar of burnt offering at the entrance to the tent of meeting. He shall remove all the fat from the bull of the sin offering—the fat that covers the internal organs, and all the fat that is connected to them, both kidneys with the fat on them near the loins, and the long lobe of the liver, which he will remove with the kidneys— just as the fat is removed from the ox sacrificed as a fellowship offering. Then the priest shall burn them on the altar of burnt offering. But the bull’s hide and all its flesh, as well as its head and legs, its internal organs and its intestines— that is, all of the bull—he must take outside the camp to a place ceremonially clean, where the ashes are thrown, and burn it there on a wood fire. (Leviticus 4:1-12)

Doing this is to solve the problem of the sins we have committed. Do not think that it is okay to sin. Our sins must be attributed to the bull. Whether it is the burnt offering, the peace offering, or the grain offering mentioned earlier, these offerings are what we are willing to offer. In fact, offering sacrifices is a wonderful thing. There is also a kind of sacrifice related to our sins, which is the sin offering.

I encourage everyone not to sin often and then offer sin offerings, but to often offer peace offerings and grain offerings, so that we can often live in holiness. How good it is for people to live in the Word of God and be blessed. If you sin, you offer a sin offering, which is a bit passive.

Some people say that they cannot live without sinning. I am very puzzled by this. They feel that our God seems unable to solve our livelihood problems. There is a big difference in the views of people on the concept of being able to live and not being able to live. Our God reigns in this world. People do not have the final say. The devil is also under God's control. Can we live well if we sin?

People feel that they cannot live without sinning because they do not have the concept of God in their hearts, and they do not believe in God. They feel that this is just a spiritual comfort, but in fact, God is a real help to us. Everyone slowly ponders. If the foundation is wrong, you will think that you can only live by sinning, but the foundation of us Christians is to fear God well. You cannot live by sinning.

Priests Must Be Vigilant and Not Lead People into Sin

If the anointed priest sins and causes the people to fall into sin, this is a very serious matter. Today's churches are accustomed to not explaining God's Word clearly, causing the members of the church to fall into sin, and their sins are very great. Today's pastors are not interested in building victorious and glorious churches, leading God's people into victory, and explaining God's Word clearly. Instead, they talk about politics, economics, elections, and other worldly knowledge, which is very capable.

If a pastor misinterprets God's Word, he will directly lead all the people into sin, which is a very sad thing. Some people have an even more fatal problem: they do not know that they have sin. They think that they are fine, but they encounter more and more problems. In fact, that is God's punishment and judgment. What we see is that if people sin and do not know it or repent, they actually think that it is the price they pay for serving God when they are punished in the end.

A typical example of someone who caused the people to fall into sin is Jeroboam. After Jeroboam, Solomon's son, became king, he continued to implement his policies. God split his kingdom in half: ten tribes, which was Israel, and two tribes, which was the kingdom of Judah. The ten tribes belonged to Jeroboam. In order to strengthen his political rule, Jeroboam ordered the creation of two golden calves, causing the people to fall directly into sin. As a result, Jeroboam was judged by God and lived a miserable life.

He had no idea that his authority and position came from God. He thought that the throne was his own merit, so he clung to it. At that time, Jerusalem belonged to the kingdom of Judah. He did not want the Israelites under his control to return to Jerusalem at that time, so he pointed to the golden calf and said to the people that this was Jehovah God. As a result, the people worshiped the golden calf. Jeroboam did not quite understand why he was like this until his death.

There are many other examples of causing people to fall into sin. I wrote a book called Doing What Is Right in the Eyes of the Lord, which is a Bible study of 1 Kings and 2 Kings. The most frequent phrase in it is that a certain king did not follow the example of his ancestor David. They followed Jeroboam and did evil in the eyes of the Lord, which are all very fatal problems. Jeroboam did evil in the eyes of God for his political reasons. Everyone must clearly know that no matter who you are against, you cannot be against God. There is absolutely no good fruit to eat.

There are many pastors who misinterpret the Bible. I cannot say that I am completely correct, but when I listen to them, I feel that they are not on the right track. For example, some people will say that Esau was a good and filial child. Some people even say that we should learn from Esau. Although they are twin brothers, grandsons of Abraham and sons of Isaac.

But Esau is hated by God, and Jacob is pleased by God. We should follow the example of Jacob. But some people have to pick on the faults of Jacob, who is pleased by God, and circle them. No matter how you do it, Jacob is a treasure in God's eyes, but do you really not know that you will pay the price for talking nonsense?

Some people have done statistics that pastors are a high-risk profession and are twice as likely to get cancer as ordinary people. This is the information I obtained from a book. But among the pastors I know, a lot of them have cancer. If you listen to it on YouTube, they talk about all sorts of things. Jeroboam caused the entire congregation of Israel to fall into sin. Jeroboam felt that what he did was right from a political point of view, but from God's point of view, it was full of evil.

Many people do not know this. For example, there were twelve spies in Israel, including Joshua and Caleb. When the twelve spies returned, Joshua and Caleb believed with faith that God would surely bring them into the promised land, but the other ten spies said many negative things, thinking that they would definitely die if they went to Canaan.

After hearing this, the Israelites did not believe Joshua and Caleb, but believed the words of the ten spies. The ten spies caused the people to fall into sin, and the plague fell on the ten spies, and they died on the spot in front of the Israelites. This is like we saw the coronavirus causing people to fall to the ground and die all of a sudden.

Why is this so? Because of sin. At this time, the spies did not know how they died, because they had offended God and caused the Israelites to fall into sin. I warn myself that I must repent if I sin. If I lead everyone to sin together and cause the entire church to fall into sin, how offensive that would be to God! I devote all my efforts to reading God's Word. We must never distort the gospel. If you turn a powerful gospel into a powerless gospel, even if you preach it as wonderfully as a storytelling performance, it will be useless. This is a very evil thing.

Say to the Israelites: ‘When anyone sins unintentionally and does what is forbidden in any of the Lord’s commands—if the high priest sins, bringing guilt on the people, then he must bring to the Lord a young bull without defect as a sin offering for the sin he has committed (Leviticus 4:2-3).

Today, when we encounter some people, we desperately pray for their pain, but it does not work, because their problems come from God. God originally judged them, and we still ask God to heal them. There are many mysteries here. In the Old Testament, the problem of sin was solved by offering a young bull as a sin offering. In the New Testament, it is to repent well, follow God's Word well, and the precious blood of the Lord Jesus covers our transgressions.

The problem is that the congregation does not know, and even the pastor and the person concerned do not know, which is a serious problem. Ignorance is a very serious problem. Who told you not to know? You have read God's Word, do you not know that this is what Jehovah has commanded not to do? If you know it and still do it, and as a result you are judged by God and punished by God, is that not what you deserve?

Deliberate Sinning Does Not Escape God's Punishment

As Christians, we must never deliberately sin. If we do, how can we possibly be forgiven? Repeatedly sinning, requiring the blood of Jesus Christ to continually cleanse us, is problematic. We perish due to ignorance if we sin in ignorance, and Chinese Mingding Destiny does not believe in a faith founded on ignorance.

If the ruler sins and does what is forbidden in any of the commands of the Lord his God, but later learns about it, he must bring as his offering a male goat without defect. (Leviticus 4:22-23)

Finally, concerning his sin, the priest shall make atonement for him, and he shall be forgiven. It is good when people realize they have sinned and quickly repent. But if they sin and pretend not to know, or simply do not know to offer a sacrifice, that is troublesome! We must consider what is of greater and lesser importance. For those among us who have suffered serious illnesses, or who have recovered from them, would you rather continue living under God's judgment, or repent, deal with your transgressions, and offer a sin offering? Jesus Christ has already become our sin offering, but mere repentance without change is useless.

We must begin to consider, what does it mean to deal with the dark forces behind our family? It means dealing with the inherent bad habits within ourselves. For example, some inherit narrow-mindedness from their families, some enjoy playing the role of Lin Daiyu (a character known for her sensitivity and melancholy), and some like to act like Cao Cao (a historical figure known for his ruthlessness and ambition), acting in ways that offend God. If these people continue in this way, I can only wish them good luck. You will pay the price for your sins.

Some people commit sins and only pay the price many years later. Bean sprouts may sprout in just three days, but growing a large pan peach takes a thousand years. The longer sin is delayed, the deeper the roots grow, and the greater the corruption. All our sins have a price. We must know that if we sin, we must repent and then offer a sin offering to be forgiven. Our well-being is closely related to the spiritual realm. If demons constantly harass us, it is impossible to live well.

Some people are unlucky in everything they do. For example, some people work in real estate in Shenzhen but have not bought a house for themselves, instead investing their money in stocks. Isn't that unlucky? Or, for example, some people borrow money to study in Hong Kong, only for riots to break out halfway through their semester, forcing them to risk their lives to escape back. Then the pandemic arrives. They find a job but inherit nothing good from their family, only bad luck. Isn't that life-threatening? A spirit of misfortune within a person is because that person has offended God. Such a person truly possesses the audacity to oppose God. Know that we will certainly pay the price for our sins, and this price comes from the spiritual realm.

Not Only Repent, But Also Change

If a person lives in misfortune throughout their life, they must deal with the sin within themselves. The key to solving the problem is repentance, and even more importantly, change. Many Christians only repent without changing, which is useless. The Book of Hebrews makes it clear that it is impossible to be brought back to repentance.

Someone said to me: Some of your Christians sin and offend God, but after going to church, the blood of Jesus cleanses them, and everything is fine! They don't have to pay any price! I said: That is not the case. God's judgment begins with His family and cannot be escaped. If you live long enough, observe carefully whether these people live under a curse. The blessings and curses that our God has declared will surely come to pass. Not a single word will fail! Today, everyone must begin to examine themselves, deal with the sin within themselves, and healing and deliverance will be easily resolved.

Some time ago, we prayed for some people with serious illnesses, but the effect was minimal. Therefore, this 102 Ministry is to help everyone understand the faith foundation of healing and deliverance. People are ignorant. Even with knowledge, repentance is needed. What price, then, must ignorance pay!

Jesus Christ has already paid the price for us. Today, we only need to deeply repent through the blood of Jesus Christ. Not treating the blood of Jesus Christ as a rag, but as a treasure. Through the salvation of Jesus Christ, we can live a holy life, live out God's dignity and glory, live out God's power, and live out the image of God that we were originally meant to have.

Turn from Sin to God

There is a price to pay for sin. Through my sharing, brothers and sisters can examine the sicknesses within themselves. Don't think I'm just good at casting out demons. Me praying for you is not enough. The key to solving the problem is whether you know the sins you have committed, whether you are willing to repent for your sins, and turn to God, ceasing from sin.

God's designed ordinances for sin, offerings, and all other ordinances, are to open a path of life for us. If we want to live beautifully and live gloriously, only the path of holiness is possible. Therefore, Leviticus is closely related to our receiving healing and deliverance. I can pray for you, but I cannot repent or offer sacrifices for you, nor can I turn your heart to God for you.

No matter what I say, it is not as good as you secretly resolving, I have suffered enough sin and endured enough pain. Today, I will completely repent, deal with the bad habits within myself, and live out the glory of God! May God bless everyone!
