From chapters 44 to 47, there is a repetition of one thing: There is no true God besides Me. This is what the God Isaiah served spoke through Isaiah. During the New Year, I often say a standard blessing: May the God I serve bless you.

Today, we must know that the God we serve is the true God, and there is no other God besides Him! Why do I say this? The reason is very simple. If you listen to the testimonies of our church, you will know, and you will find that those who trust in Him live in blessing. Therefore, we are witnesses of God.

Because the God We Trust Is the True God, So We Are His Witnesses

In fact, very few gods that people believe in are willing to become human and descend into the world, and then display their abilities, such as flying over walls. But our God has done a very beautiful testimony through us. Where is this sentence?

Yet now hear, O Jacob my servant, and Israel, whom I have chosen: Thus says the Lord who made you, who formed you from the womb and will help you: 'Fear not, O Jacob my servant, Jeshurun whom I have chosen. For I will pour water on the thirsty land, and streams on the dry ground; I will pour my Spirit upon your offspring, and my blessing on your descendants. They shall spring up among the grass like willows by flowing streams. This one will say, “I am the Lord’s,” another will call on the name of Jacob, and another will write on his hand, “The Lord’s,” and name himself Israel.' (Isaiah 44:1-5)

Today, brothers and sisters, you must know who you are. We are all Jacob. Why? Because he is a man of faith. We are all Israel. What is Israel? It is to wrestle with God and with men and prevail. Jacob and Israel are both very distinctive names.

When we are all very distinctive people today, we will become witnesses of God. Why do I say this? Because we are filled with God's Spirit, and then I become a witness of God. This is the true God.

And while staying with them he ordered them not to depart from Jerusalem, but to wait for the promise of the Father, which, he said, “you heard from me; for John baptized with water, but you will be baptized with the Holy Spirit not many days from now.” (Acts 1:4-5)

Are these people believers in Jesus? Yes. For a person who believes in Jesus, if he is not filled with the Holy Spirit, he has no way to go out and testify. Testify to what? Testify to those bad things? No. In fact, a person who has not been filled with the Holy Spirit cannot be called a strong Christian.

But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you, and you will be my witnesses in Jerusalem and in all Judea and Samaria, and to the end of the earth. (Acts 1:8)

When the Holy Spirit is poured out on us, we will definitely experience God's wonderful works, and we will become witnesses of the living God. Our God wants His Holy Spirit to come down and be poured out on us, and then we will receive power. A person receiving power is closely related to being a witness. How can you be a witness without power?

I have heard such a testimony: a person had nasopharyngeal carcinoma. When he was giving his testimony, although one side of his face was swollen, he still gave his testimony, saying: Look how strong I am, I can resist like this. What kind of testimony is this? This is a testimony without power. I have never seen such a testimony in the Bible. I can be arrested by the Roman Empire, I can be beheaded by the Roman Emperor, or crucified by the Roman Emperor. These are not problems. But, I think this kind of thing that will definitely be healed in Jesus' hands, but it was not healed. What can this testify to? I don’t know what he is testifying to, is he testifying to a God without power? So today, if we want to testify, we will testify to a God of great power, because our God pours out His Spirit.

Today, there are many testimonies among us, one after another, so many that even the Bible study time is delayed. What is the reason? In fact, many people come to us not just to believe in the Lord. The problem already existed in their original church. Why couldn't they be healed and released there, but they can here? Because the Spirit of God is here.

In the beginning, God created the heavens and the earth. The earth was without form and void, and darkness was over the face of the deep. And the Spirit of God was hovering over the face of the waters. And God said, “Let there be light,” and there was light. (Genesis 1:1-3)

Wherever the Spirit of God moves, there is the church of God. When the Spirit of God is poured out, there will be beautiful testimonies.

Fear not, nor be afraid; have I not told you from of old and declared it? And you are my witnesses! Is there a God besides me? There is no Rock; I know not any. (Isaiah 44:8)

We are witnesses of God. If you want to see God, just look at us. When we are studying the Bible, as we love one another, God is among us. Therefore, brothers and sisters, you must know what a great grace this is. We will surely become witnesses of God's grace, witnesses of God turning our lives around, and witnesses of us living in abundance.

Why is today's topic called Is there any other God besides me, or is there no other God besides me? If you read it carefully, it is repeated again and again. You will find that the Bible keeps repeating a sentence, that is, God is constantly emphasizing one thing. Can this sentence enter you? That is, there is no salvation except Him, and there is no true God except Him. If He is the true God, you will surely become a witness of God; if He is the true God, we will surely become a beautiful witness of God.

The true God must never be spoken with just the mouth. If you believe in a god, and this god cannot bring you into abundance, but becomes your burden, your trouble, your curse, and many other problems, then it cannot be called the true God.

Some time ago, when I was in Singapore, I met a polytechnic student. What he told me shocked me very much, it was simply terrifying. His aunt opened a place to worship idols, and then his mother went to his aunt's house to worship that idol. After worshiping, his mother went to the bathroom to wash, but waited a long time without coming out. As a result, his aunt went to the bathroom and saw that his mother had died suddenly. When his aunt saw this situation, she picked up a knife and cut open her stomach. Fortunately, she was sent to the hospital in time and saved her life.

From that time on, their family began to make money wildly. Money was like a strong wind blowing over. But when he came to me, his family had gone bankrupt, and all the money was gone. He felt his head was about to split open at the time, and the spirit of death was very strong. But after praying for him a few times, he disappeared and went to do his own thing.

In fact, brothers and sisters, you need to know today, if you worship the true God, will you be like this? Absolutely not. Therefore, we must know that there is no true God except Him, no salvation, and we are His witnesses.

The True God Is the God Who Redeems Jacob

For the Lord has redeemed Jacob and will be glorified in Israel. (Isaiah 44:23)

When we testify for our God, our God will be glorified. Because our God has redeemed Jacob. In fact, we are all Jacob. Because of faith in Jesus, we enter into the promise of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob, and then the God of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob becomes our God. So this is a very important concept, everyone must know that our God is the God who redeems us.

The word redemption means to solve problems. When I first believed in the Lord, I thought the meaning of redemption was to go to heaven after death, but later I found it was wrong. I am a scholar, I like to read the Bible and think at the same time. Later I found that redemption is about being saved while you are alive. For example, when David was being chased by Saul, in his thirteen years of escape, God constantly supplied David, saved David, and rescued David from Saul's hand.

God is our salvation, our redemption. When we are redeemed, God will solve many of our problems in the world through spiritual principles. So today our concepts must change. Since He is the true God, He will redeem Jacob. If you are like Jacob, He will redeem you. Why redeem Jacob but not Esau? Because Esau loves the world.

If you also love the world, you will belong to Esau; if you do not love the world but love God, you will belong to Jacob; if you have no Mingding Destiny, you will belong to Esau; if you know why you are alive, you will belong to Jacob. If you do not know about eternal life, but only know how to covet the enjoyment of this life, you will belong to Esau and be directly cursed; if you long to obtain eternal life, long to enter the presence of the eternal God, see through the things of the world, and then long to obtain Mingding Destiny, that is Jacob. In this way, God will become your redemption, you will be a witness for God, and you will glorify God's name.

If our God is the true God, He must be the most powerful God. Today, I must tell everyone that the God I serve is the most powerful God in the world. So some people will ask me if I am afraid of this or that. I tell you, I am not afraid of anything, even death I am not afraid of. Because the God I serve is the most powerful God in the world. Since He is so powerful, what am I afraid of? I am not afraid of anything. I tell you, because our God is the true God, He will destroy the works of many false gods.

Destroying the Works of False Gods

who frustrates the signs of liars and makes fools of diviners, who turns wise men back and makes their knowledge foolish, who confirms the word of his servant and performs the counsel of his messengers, who says of Jerusalem, ‘She shall be inhabited,’ and of the cities of Judah, ‘They shall be built, and I will raise up their ruins’; (Isaiah 44:25-26)

Today, I really want to tell everyone that the God I believe in is so amazing. Many years ago, I had always wanted to preach the gospel to my eldest sister, because her family life was not good at all, but she said no, why not? Because she was worshiping an idol. She said: Every time I go to see that idol, it calculates very accurately and can bless me with wealth, I owe it a favor. It was really troublesome, so I immediately began to pray, I said: In the name of Jesus Christ, I declare that this fortune teller will never be accurate on my eldest sister again. As a result, he was indeed not accurate, and my eldest sister could not earn any wealth, so we believed in the Lord together.

After reading these scriptures, I found that the things I said were very powerful, and many accomplishments. I have a classmate whose wife ran away with someone else a long time ago, and then he worked hard to raise his daughter alone, and for the sake of his daughter, he did not remarry. The year his child took the college entrance examination, I said: Old classmate, I want to pray for your child, I bless your child in the name of Jesus Christ that he will perform extraordinarily well in the college entrance examination. As a result, this was indeed the case. Later, his child's college entrance examination results jumped from more than 30th place to 8th place in their class.

This concept must be known: to confirm the word of his servant. I find this very interesting. I constantly searched for it in the Bible. Suddenly one day I saw it. God did not let a single word of what Samuel said fall to the ground. I carefully pondered what this sentence meant, and then found that God did not let Moses' words fall to the ground either. How could this be? I understood that God does not like us to be puppets. He likes you and me to be autonomous, free, living, flesh-and-blood people, that is, to have free will.

Later, what else did I discover? God fulfilled what Samuel said based on his free will. I also found that this happened to me. What an honor! In fact, many of the things we say are like this. Some people say that this servant refers to Jesus, not us. Don't you know that we are in Jesus? So today we must know that the true God we trust in will destroy the works of the false gods in the world.

The King Is Also in God's Control

Have you heard of The Investiture of the Gods? Have you heard the stories of the emperors of China? If you have, you will find that if a person wants to become an emperor in the end, it seems that it is destined. Some people may think that I am superstitious, but the things that are destined are very wonderful.

There was one person in our old Mr. Liu's family who became emperor, and that was Liu Bang. Xiang Yu wanted to kill him at the Hongmen Banquet, but he did not succeed. Then Liu Bang ran away from the toilet. But such a Liu Bang actually became emperor later. If we carefully examine Chinese history, we will find that there is something in the dark, that is, if God wants to establish this person as king and emperor, it is very difficult for anyone to kill him.

For example, Lin Biao wanted to assassinate Mao Zedong, but he failed. The army was in Lin Biao's hands, but he failed to assassinate him. After the matter was exposed, the plane he was on crashed on the Mongolian grasslands while he was escaping on the plane. So today we must know that whoever becomes king is in the hands of God.

who says of Cyrus, ‘He is my shepherd, and he shall fulfill all my purpose’; saying of Jerusalem, ‘She shall be built,’ and of the temple, ‘Your foundation shall be laid.’ (Isaiah 44:28)

Thus says the Lord to his anointed, to Cyrus, whose right hand I have grasped, to subdue nations before him and to loose the belts of kings, to open doors before him that gates may not be closed: “I will go before you and level the exalted places, I will break in pieces the doors of bronze and cut through the bars of iron, I will give you the treasures of darkness and the hoards in secret places, that you may know that it is I, the Lord, the God of Israel, who call you by your name. For the sake of my servant Jacob, and Israel my chosen, I call you by your name, I name you, though you do not know me. I am the Lord, and there is no other, besides me there is no God; I equip you, though you do not know me, (Isaiah 45:1-5)

Who is this Cyrus? He is the emperor of the Persian Empire. The Persian Empire destroyed the Babylonian Empire, and the Babylonian Empire destroyed the Assyrian Empire. That's how it happened. So God raised up Cyrus. When he read his name in the Bible, he let the Israelites return to Jerusalem to build the temple. That is, let Nehemiah and Ezra, and Zerubbabel return.

Today we must know that even the king is in God's control. Because He is the true God. So today you know what? That is, in The Investiture of the Gods and the novels of various dynasties, you can see an invisible hand in the dark. Economics also says this. Don't be confused, thinking that this is someone's contribution. In fact, those people are established because of God's election.

Because God chose them, to raise up such a country to accomplish God's will, which is to release the captured souls and release the oppressed people. Where is the church most prosperous today? The Chinese church is most prosperous today, and the Chinese church is most prosperous. What does God want us to do? Become a blessing to all nations and peoples on earth.

For example, China's Belt and Road Initiative involves economic construction, donating hospitals, donating bridges, donating railways, and donating many things to countries along the way. Today, the whole world welcomes us Chinese people. Chinese people are very popular all over the world. Today, brothers and sisters, you must know that that is our God.

Christians Must Learn to Fear God

I form the light and create darkness, I bring prosperity and create disaster; I, the Lord, do all these things. (Isaiah 45:7)

If you are new to us today, read this passage carefully: I form the light and create darkness, I bring prosperity and create disaster. What does this mean?

Someone told me, Pastor, God does not bring disaster. I said, have you read the Bible? Obviously not. If you haven't read the Bible, what are you arguing with me about? The Lord God Himself said in the Bible: I bring prosperity and create disaster; I, the Lord, do all these things. Why does God bring both prosperity and disaster? So that you can make a prudent choice before God. So the choice is yours, whether you choose a curse or a blessing, it is your own choice.

Today, many brothers and sisters are cursed without realizing it, thinking that our God is Santa Claus. Today, brothers and sisters must learn to fear our God. Our God is the true God, the true God who controls all things in the universe. We on earth have no choice but to fear Him. But many of us do not fear God! Still selfish, petty, picky, self-righteous, still trapped in the knowledge of good and evil.

Adam and Eve were newly created glorious people, but even such glorious people died after eating the fruit of the knowledge of good and evil. So if you think you won't die from eating the fruit of the tree of the knowledge of good and evil, isn't that strange? Glorious Adam and Eve, such spiritual Adam and Eve, still died after eating the fruit of the tree of the knowledge of good and evil. So today, we Christians must reject the knowledge of good and evil, do not walk according to right and wrong. If you walk according to right and wrong, you will surely die, and God will bring disaster upon these people. If God brings disaster upon you, you must quickly repent, don't say it's not my fault, it's all someone else's fault, and in the end, you can't find out who's to blame. Isn't that ridiculous?

If God brings disaster upon me, I must repent, I made a mistake, quickly repent, switch tracks, switch to the track of blessing! God forms the light and creates darkness, brings prosperity and create disaster. We must quickly enter into God's peace, I want to be Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob. How good is that! So our true God is a God who brings both prosperity and disaster, that is the true God.

Christians Who Trust in the True God Will Never Be Put to Shame

Because He is the true God, you have no right to argue with Him, why did you create this? Why did you do that? Who are you? What are you doing? I often see some people who don't know the immensity of heaven and earth, and I find it particularly ridiculous. These people come to me and say: Pastor, you should do this. I say: Have you done it? They say: I haven't done it. Then I will ask: Then how do you know what the pastor should do? In fact, they don't know either.

Once, I heard a sister say to her pastor: You have to apologize to people. I said this is strange, whether her pastor apologizes to people is my business, you are his subordinate, what are you doing managing him? Later, after I reprimanded this sister, she wrote me a very long apology letter. Why did I reprimand her? Because we people often manage things we shouldn't manage, we haven't even figured out our own little lives. If you haven't figured out your own little life, and you are not even a superior person among people, and then you go to manage what God manages, aren't you strange? Try managing what God manages, and what does God say?

Woe to those who quarrel with their Maker, those who are nothing but potsherds among the potsherds on the ground. Does the clay say to the potter, ‘What are you making?’ Does your work say, ‘The potter has no hands’? Woe to the one who says to a father, ‘What have you begotten?’ or to a mother, ‘What have you brought to birth?’ (Isaiah 45:9)

We often have some children who are quite foolish and ask: Dad and Mom, why did you make me like this? This question is like asking nothing, your dad and mom don't have the final say, they got pregnant by chance and gave birth to you, and then you became like this.

If you are a person who trusts in the true God, like Jacob, he was the younger son, but because of his faith, he reversed the order of his birth. Why? Because he trusted in God. Nothing is impossible in the hands of our true God, even if your dad and mom made you like that, is it difficult for God to create you into a new person today? How good it is for you to become a new creation!

So today, brothers and sisters, don't get entangled in those useless things, like Dad and Mom, why did you make me like this. They don't have the final say! If I were that child's dad or mom, I would also feel wronged, how would I know I gave birth to such a beast, who later asked me? If I had known you were like this, I would have strangled you to death long ago. Many dads and moms say this.

We people have to learn to be shrewd. If something is useless, don't do it, if something is useless to say, then don't say it, it doesn't edify people either. The sister's testimony just now was very interesting, because of some things related to the knowledge of good and evil, they argued back and forth at home, and in the end, everyone was very tired. Believing in the Lord makes you smarter, why? Because you will become Jacob, even if your birth order is not very favorable to you, you still have a choice after birth, because it is the Lord who does all these things, and those who rely on Him will never be put to shame, that is Jacob, who prevails in wrestling with people and with God.

This is what the Lord says: “The products of Egypt and the merchandise of Cush, and those tall Sabeans—they will come over to you and will be yours; they will trudge behind you, coming over in chains. They will bow down before you and plead with you, saying, ‘Surely God is with you, and there is no other; there is no other god.’” (Isaiah 45:14)

God Is Among Us

What will happen when God is among us? That is, the products of Egypt and the merchandise of Cush will be yours. I tell you, today God will shake the nations, shake all nations, and bring wealth to His people. I'm not just talking nonsense, God will really do this, bring wealth among us, why? Because God is truly among us, and there is no other god. Can God not bless us?

So you will experience testimonies of financial turnaround, you will experience testimonies of healing, you will experience testimonies of your problems being solved, you will experience testimonies of being saved and redeemed.

But Israel will be saved by the Lord with an everlasting salvation; you will never be put to shame or disgraced, to ages without end. (Isaiah 45:17)

If you are a true Israelite, if you are truly Jacob, if your character and your bones really have these things, you will be like Paul, like Jesus. Because of Jesus Christ inheriting the promises received from God by Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob, you will find that many people come among us and bow down, why? Because they come with their chains, they will be released among us, redeemed among us, and begin to testify to the glory of God among us.

But Israel will be saved by the Lord. Today I am desperately pushing everyone into this attribute of Israel: no matter what, you must have Mingding Destiny, no matter what, you must have a mission, no matter what, you must see through life and death, no matter what, you must see through the emptiness of life, and then you will begin to let go of many things and cling tightly to God. Then I tell you, finances and bread will all be there.

Bread and finances are not a difficult thing, because I declare in the word of God that the finances of every brother and sister among us will turn around! If you believe, you will begin to see opportunities, God will surely grant you good opportunities, because I am the Lord, and there is no other god besides Me. God constantly repeats this sentence to bless you and me, to bless such people of Israel.

Man-Made Idols Cannot Solve Problems

The idols of man are empty idols. People are particularly interesting: a piece of wood, when we were young, we chopped wood, took some wood, chopped it into firewood, lit a fire to roast meat, and ate it. The remaining piece of wood, carve a small figure, put it there, and worship it. Why doesn't God let us worship idols? Because we are more honorable than those things. God doesn't let us worship idols, not because those idols can't be worshiped, you can worship them casually, but if you know you are very honorable, would you do this?

I am a child of the living God, I am Jacob, I am Israel, what do I do with the whole piece of wood? To use the most common online language now, can it be eaten? Can idols be eaten? Today, brothers and sisters, we must know that these people are very strange, they carve something out of wood, what can it do?

But people just like to do these things, and after doing these things, no problems are solved, because it is an empty idol, made by man, and then what comes upon this idol? Evil spirits come upon this idol, the true God dwells among us, evil spirits dwell in the midst of idols, so this is deadly, because it is an empty idol.

Bel bows down, Nebo stoops low; their idols are borne by beasts and cattle. The images that are carried about are burdensome, a burden for the weary. They stoop and bow down together; unable to rescue the burden, they themselves go off into captivity. (Isaiah 46:1-2)

You will find that people who worship idols live more and more tired, and people who trust in the true God live more and more easily, because the true God removes your burdens, and idols will add to your burdens. Idols originally don't solve problems, idols solve one problem and add ten problems to you, because behind this are evil spirits. So today, brothers and sisters must begin to understand that idols are very harmful.

For example, worshiping the dead, when they were alive, they said they were atheists, and then after death, they do these things. In fact, when I meet some of our brothers and sisters, they ask me what to do with the funeral. In fact, do whatever you want with the funeral. Someone asked me if it's okay not to have a Christian funeral? In fact, it's the same to have any kind of funeral after someone dies, it's just a piece of meat. It is the Spirit who gives life; the flesh profits nothing.

There were three brothers, two who worshiped idols and one who believed in Jesus. After their mother died, they argued there about whether to have a Christian funeral or an idol funeral. I think it's not very meaningful. The brothers argued until their faces were red and their necks were thick, but in the end, it was useless, it was just a piece of rotten meat, either burned to ashes. The funeral cannot determine where the person who has already died goes, no matter how much paper you burn for him, no matter how many things you burn, he is still a dead person, and his spirit will go wherever it is supposed to go.

So brothers and sisters, don't take those things too seriously, do whatever you want. But I will never bow down, why? Because I am a very honorable Israelite, I am a child of the living God.

Rebellious People Are All Struck Down, Disaster Comes Upon Those Who Practice Sorcery and Cast Many Spells

Everyone must begin to learn to think. In chapter 46, verse 8, Remember this, keep it in mind, take it to heart, you rebels. What are some of the things that people should think about? The first point to think about:

Remember this, keep it in mind, take it to heart, you rebels. Remember the former things, those of long ago; I am God, and there is no other God. (Isaiah 46:8)

Rebellious people are all struck down, they all suffer many disasters, and those who are proud and arrogant will also be put to shame. From chapter 46, verse 8 to chapter 47, it is all talking about: those who are proud and arrogant are put to shame; those who oppress God's people will also be cursed; those who practice sorcery and cast many spells will have both the loss of children and widowhood come upon them completely. So brothers and sisters need to know what you need to think about. Some people say in their hearts: I am, and there is none besides me. There are many such people, this is a very deadly thing. So today, disaster will surely fall upon these people, and a destruction you do not know will suddenly come upon you.

Therefore disaster will overtake you, and you will not know when it appears. A calamity will fall on you that you cannot ward off with a ransom; a catastrophe you cannot foresee will suddenly come upon you. Keep on, then, with your magic spells and with your many sorceries, which you have labored at since childhood; perhaps you will succeed, perhaps you will cause terror. (Isaiah 47:11-12)

Today, brothers and sisters, can you observe these things? When disaster comes upon those who worship idols, the idols are of no use. Near the church in Singapore, there is an idol, and an old man who gave fortunes and drew things in front of the idol came to me one day. He walked in small steps, unable to lift his legs, he was over seventy years old. When I asked him, he said he had been in the hospital for ten months. You know, staying in the hospital in Singapore is more expensive than a hotel, and ten months burned all the money in his CPF account.

As a result, he still couldn't lift his legs after coming out. I led him in prayer, and the evil spirit behind the idol even spoke to him, scaring him. Later, after I prayed for a while, his legs loosened, and he was very happy. I asked him to come and attend the meetings properly, but he didn't attend the meetings properly, and then the problem came back, and he was hospitalized again. He already has no money, and I don't know what to burn if he is hospitalized again. He used to do these idol-worshiping things, but when he was old, he couldn't solve the problems at all. If you observe carefully, you will know that there are so many of these things.

Conclusion

Besides Him, there is no true God, no salvation. It is to let you fear the Lord your God alone. So God wants us to love the Lord your God with all your heart, with all your soul, with all your mind, and with all your strength, because that is the benefit of your life, today there is no salvation except Him.
