Good day to you all! Today, we're engaging in Q&A and problem-solving. Grasp the main point – be a proactive learner, did you catch that? Be a proactive learner; don't be passive. Passive learning is never the right method. There are many forms of passive learning, such as watching television or just sitting and listening in class. These passive learning methods dull the mind! Today, we're focusing on proactive learning. The six lectures I've given are packed with the mysteries and essence of learning. If you can put them into practice, you're sure to excel! Today, we're here for Q&A and to clear up doubts.

Question 1: Why is it that I'm full of confidence before starting something, but I lose that confidence as I go along?

Answer: I suspect many of you experience this. Before a break, you declare, I'm going to learn so much this holiday! But when the holiday ends, nothing's been done. Why is that? We often think that simply making a declaration will boost our confidence, but that's not the case. Can shouting slogans build real confidence? No. So what exactly is confidence? Confidence is what we need when facing a tough situation, say, like being between the Red Sea and pursuing soldiers. At such times, confidence isn't about believing in oneself, but in God. I must bring God into this. Without God, your confidence will collapse immediately!

So why full of confidence before starting, but losing it along the way? Because that initial confidence wasn't true confidence. Real confidence isn't built on ourselves, but on God. Why? Because confidence based on our own abilities is unreliable; some have greater abilities, some less. Some have the benefit of years of learning and rich experience, giving them confidence to face problems. But what about those of us without such capital? So what is faith? You may have attended Bible studies and listened to my sermons, yet still not fully understand it. Faith is seeing the future even when circumstances are dire. Even in our studies, when we see a problem that seems like a mountain before us, you're bound to feel that way.

But things are different now. Before, you relied on yourself; now, you rely on God. I can certainly depend on my God to solve this problem. And how do you solve it? By digging in, bit by bit, sorting it out slowly. What's the rush? Impatience kills confidence. Losing confidence comes when you wonder, Will this ever end? Have you felt that way? It doesn't need to end at any particular time.

Let me explain what faith is. When someone comes to me with a leg swollen like a wooden log, I initially lack confidence. I may think, “These people are such a trouble. They've brought someone with legs swollen like this to me.” You see, I might know a little bit of TCM and Western medicine, and, from that, I know that a leg swollen like this very likely means the kidney is useless, right? You all are cruel! But you can’t say so, right. I can’t risk making myself look a fool. Grit your teeth, stamp your feet, and get to work!

I ask you, did I know the swelling would go down? No, I had absolutely no idea. It would have been easier if I did, wouldn’t it? I tell you, I prayed for 20 minutes, coaxing and pressing, and then more coaxing. Looking at the leg, still the same, I ask myself, Can I fix this on my own? Can it be done on my own? No. You ask, do you know if another 20 minutes will do it? Or 40 minutes? Or an hour? Or two hours? I have no idea. But would I stop? No. That’s what I call faith. And you know what happened? I prayed for about an hour and a half, and the leg reverted to normal flesh, a normal leg with muscle tone, and its colour returned from bluish-green to normal. I give thanks to God then! Because I persevered for an hour and a half. And I have persevered for 3 hours, 6, and even 8.

I tell you, faith is seeing the future even through the current terrible circumstances. Not knowing how long it will take, but trusting my God can make that leg normal again. So while praying, I told him stories—telling stories of the miracles I had performed in the past. So everyone, from today, you must believe in miracles, you hear? Believe in God's miracles. Believe that God will, at some unknown moment, suddenly move that mountain away. This is what is called faith, and it's distinct from making progress and having confidence, and regressing and losing confidence.

One of my characteristics is: for example in learning matters, if I am not making progress, is there a better way to learn? I have this spirit of never giving up, so that’s why I mention the need to practice faith. Your “faith” is either self-confidence or disbelief. These are useless faiths that I speak of. That's why I always say, what kind of days can one have without God? Without God, I only have my petty self to rely on. I bet that instead of making it to today, I would have bitten the dust yesterday - I can’t handle it.

Question 2: Teacher, I don't quite understand abstraction?

Answer: What does not quite understand abstraction mean? Let me explain abstraction again. Abstraction means extracting the essence from complex phenomena. Let me repeat and give an example: go to your kitchen and look at the kitchen cabinets, and then go look at your closet. What significant differences do they have? They're just square boxes of different heights, widths, shapes and sizes—that's abstraction. Right? Just square boxes that come in varying sizes. As for whether the board is made of aluminium alloy, wood, solid wood, or some other material—the difference is just the material, but it's still a square box. That's abstraction. Anything can be abstracted, right? Extract that, and you have found the principle. As long as you can make a square box, you can make all the other square boxes.

Question 3: Teacher, does clarifying the relationships between concepts make one's understanding more transparent? Is it related to transparent comprehension?

Answer: Let's not lump everything together; it just ends up confusing us even more. Why must linking the relationships between concepts be tied to transparent comprehension? It doesn't need to be. What actually happens is: you clarify concepts and their relationships, and you gain a clearer understanding of the matter. That's learning. Your mind will realise, Oh! I understand. You might understand 30 percent, 50 percent, or even 100 percent—it's all a step-by-step progression.

Let me give an example: conceptual, with relationships between concepts. When we study, we actually learn many concepts. Today, I'll read to you what I learned yesterday. I study every day; I always learn. This segment I am about to read came about when someone wrote a long passage. He said that In terms of learning, the most effective content for helping people form independent thinking skills and enhance cognition is divided into four levels. Do you find the concepts? Enhancing a person's learning has four levels:. First is classic books, second is profound articles, third is knowledge snacks, and fourth is short videos.

See that? He’s talking about these classic books, profound articles, and so on. Let me read to you. What are classic books? This is a concept. How is this concept related? This concept is related to independent thinking skills and enhanced cognition. Classic books are those that have been passed down for hundreds or even thousands of years, their value proven by history. Only the contents that have withstood the test of time and historical examination can be called classics. What are profound articles? Those calm, rational, and refined articles that give you an epiphany after reading and make you self-reflect. See? Profound article, is this a concept? This is a concept.

We now ask, what are knowledge snacks? These snacks are secondarily processed by many knowledgeable gurus that dissect books, paint vivid pictures, and create on-the-spot conflict to achieve a dissemination effect. Have you listened to gurus speak? If so, you’ve had knowledge snacks. When gurus lecture, they edit and process those classics, then add some content and ingredients to make it sound great! But those things are just knowledge snacks.

The fourth kind is short videos, which are really nothing much themselves. The author sorts the content of these four types of learning into four concepts, and their relationship with independent thought and cognition. Do you see that? Are these four types of learning content related? Is today's learning, which seeks to enhance independent thinking and cognitive ability, a concept? It is - This is one viewpoint, one concept. If it is divided into four hierarchies, which are that you often engage in? You are often just doing short videos, which makes you foolish! Can you learn anything from TV dramas? If you could, that'd be great, wouldn't it? Learn something in ten minutes, but with a TV drama, you can watch dozens of episodes and still not figure it out - how can you not become foolish?!

Yesterday I read another segment that I thought was quite good. Let me share it with you - the three awakenings of life, which I think are particularly well-summarised ! Oh, there are three awakenings in life: The first awakening is seeing oneself. What does seeing oneself mean. We may not understand that this is a concept. Seeing oneself means understanding yourself. Through understanding the path to the end, one can be broad-minded, knowing that you're running straight to the urn of ashes and being open-minded. The second awakening is seeing the world, which allows one to know reverence and therefore to be humble. So he described the three awakenings of life very clearly, three concepts: the first is seeing oneself, the second is seeing the world. What about the third? I haven't forgotten; I'm telling you now! The third is seeing all living beings, which allows one to understand compassion and therefore to be tolerant.

After reading it yesterday, I pondered it myself. It seems I have already reached all three awakenings, no? Do you understand awakening? It's like suddenly understanding life. Many people don't know what they're doing their whole lives, really. They pass through life without ever awakening, without ever understanding. Think about it, living like that...

Look up and see, for example, our brother who married a wife who does nothing but make trouble at home, never does any work. Annoying? She goes through life without ever needing to awaken, just living in a daze, right? Always making trouble, disliking everything. Have you awakened? After awakening, the first is seeing oneself—how well-summarised! If it weren't written down, no one would build that concept, and awakening would be something people would not understand. But when someone writes it down, it's like, Aha! I'm learning. Then seeing oneself, seeing the world, seeing all living beings—it's like a sudden enlightenment. This was written by the ancients, not by someone today.

Have I made the relationships between concepts clear? When we read any book, if we don't know what it's saying, we might as well forget it! For example, if I read a book called The Triune God and I don't know what it's saying, I read it again and still don't know. The concepts inside are all confused, not clear at all—it's not a classic. Later, I understood that the Bible never mentioned the term Trinity at all; the term was invented by later people. How terrible, right? Inventing a concept and then confusing everyone, what's the point? It's a bit difficult to confuse me, why? Because I know how to learn.

Question 4: Teacher, I really want to improve my note-taking skills, making them concise and to the point, but I often just listen to a long passage and it goes in one ear and out the other. Even when I do take notes, I'm essentially copying word for word. It's so difficult to turn them into my own understanding and language. I can't do it right now. How should I train myself?

Answer: Did you hear the error in this question? He always wants to explain things in his own words; but how can he when he has no things to explain? Do you understand? We always want to invent something. If you could explain it clearly in your own words, you would have already done so; you wouldn't need to listen to me! Just use the words I tell you to use. To this day, one of the most painful things for me is when I finish telling someone something, and when I ask him to tell me back what I asked of him, he rambles something which is plainly false. I say, Stop inventing things! Just repeat exactly what I said. Just repeat it once. But he thinks repeating me is wrong. Oh, it makes me so upset. Why does a child often fail to pass his compositions? It is because they always want to to write in their own words. Can you speak like that person in his exposition on seeing oneself, seeing the world, seeing all living beings? You cannot. You don't have that concept, that knowledge.

We learn about trigonometric functions, but you turn it into quadrangular functions. Why? You added an angle. Later, your parents will kick you, making it pentagonal. If it is trigonometric functions, you just say it as it is: trigonometric functions. No, trigonometric number functions. Oh my goodness! The triangle didn't have an angle added, but the function became a number function. It's really hard work if we don't kick you. You take notes, do you know? Think about it, what I say usually has a key point first, and then I talk about these smaller points. That's how I teach. There's no irrelevant talk, right? What was I talking about just now? I was answering the relationship between concepts. I talked about concept one, concept two, concept three, concept four. Concept one is this level, concept two is this, it's done in one go. If you have to use your own words, you definitely won't study well.

Later, after that child listened to me talk about writing essays, oh, write essays using other people's words? Nonsense, if you don't use other people's words, which sentence did you not learn from others? Even swear words have to be learned from others, understand? If you didn't learn from others, you invented one yourself, always wanting to invent a trending internet term, right? If you invent it and it doesn't become popular, you'll be dumb for life! What I'm saying, does everyone have this problem? If you have this problem, turn it around. Learn how people speak, and we speak the same way. How people say it, we say it the same way. Don't use your own words. I don't know from which grade you learned to use your own words. Don't use your own words, a triangle becomes a quadrangle, with one or two more angles.

【Question】5: Teacher, I am willing to become an active learner, which means recognizing that attending class and listening to lectures are passive learning. The key is to build confidence to actively seek methods and develop good habits. Is this understanding correct?

Answer: This, listening to lectures is the master leading you in, let's all say it again, what do you listen to in lectures? Listen to the master leading you in, and then learning? Cultivating immortality depends on the individual. You will find that I have a very clear vision. What is this clear vision? It's that when I teach, I try to make things as simple as possible so that you can quickly enter this door, or even straddle the threshold. So, the master leads you in, and cultivating immortality depends on the individual. So I want to teach lessons that are easy for beginners to understand. Once you understand, quickly go explore, quickly go learn. Then because the master leads you in! Establish a framework, make things a simple demonstration, and then what? You start actively learning materials, researching materials, and then doing this thing.

So if the teacher is delivering content during class and not a framework, you'll be confused as you listen. Today, I'm telling you that many teachers are just reading textbooks. Does the textbook need you to read it? Are there many teachers among us who read textbooks? Hey, today I'll ask you, those parents who are full of confidence in the school, let's talk about it, what do you all think? Those parents who are full of confidence in the school, do you know what kind of people the teachers in the school are today? When you go to school and take a look, oh my god, they're all people who couldn't even get into 985 universities. Can they help your child get in? Do you understand this time?

We have a mother who is particularly interesting. She heard me say that she wanted to learn programming to train her child's engineering thinking ability. Bang, she spent 20,000 yuan to buy a course and sent her child there. After she sent her there, the child was confused and couldn't learn anymore. Why? Because she was confused. Then you say she's confused, what are you going to do? Later, I heard about this, so let me talk about her. It seems that our relationship isn't that close yet. If the relationship was close, she would have asked me how to study long ago. She secretly went to do it. You should have given me 20,000 yuan. No need, just take 10,000. I won't even take this 10,000. Can I teach your child?

Why? She doesn't know what kind of teachers are in this school. She thought that professional matters should be left to professional people. Is it professional? I ask you, is it professional? Hey, what kind of people can that kind of school recruit to teach? Anyway, if they asked me to be a teacher, I wouldn't do it. Why would I do that stuff? They're all people who can't survive in the industry who go to read textbooks. Who can't read textbooks? Can't your child read the textbook at home by themselves? Some people say they're all half-baked. What half-baked? There's no bottom to the bucket. Half-baked is already praising them. So you have to know whether you are listening to a lesson or attending a class, don't mess it up.

You constantly train yourself. Just take listening to me among us as an example. Although you may not grasp it so well, as you listen, you will feel that other people are talking nonsense, right? Do you have this feeling? So slowly think about this, how to train yourself, how to understand this? Understand it this way: the master leads you in, cultivating immortality depends on the individual. At first, you can't even touch the door, where are you going to learn? I'll tell you to go there, that's the door, just go in, and after you go in, it's a vast world.

【Question】6: Actively thinking, asking questions, and solving problems, but my own mind is chaotic, and I feel like there are all problems, but I don't know what the specific problems are. What should I do specifically?

Answer: That's wrong, you don't need to do anything. Understand? Why is it that people feel their minds are chaotic and feel like there are all problems? What does it mean that there are all problems? Even living is a problem, right? But it's not argued that way. You see, people always know some things, at least they can write this sentence, right? They don't say they don't know anything at all, they know something. So what problems do I have now, describe them. In fact, mental confusion is not that someone tells you you're confused, it's that you yourself feel confused. In fact, this feeling of confusion doesn't need to be managed.

So now I don't know many problems, but first know one problem, right? For example: the relationship between the daughter-in-law and the mother-in-law is always difficult to handle. Do I have this problem? Do I have a child who is struggling in school? Yes. Then what to do? Start following the vine, manage the child like this, and handle the relationship like this. I won't talk about the answer today. I'm just saying what does it mean for a person to be mentally confused? It's that the person themselves feels confused, but they're not actually confused. You see, there are often these kinds of things, like telling you a joke: Oh, teacher, I'm confused. Then transfer the money from your account to my account. That won't work. I said: You're not confused. Are you confused? You're not confused. You say you're confused, I say take advantage of the confusion and quickly fool him, but you can't fool him, because once money is involved, that guy is very clear-headed.

Some people argue with me, he says: People are born with different IQs. I said: Is there such a thing as IQs being different? He said: Yes. Then he tells me a lot. I said: Let me tell you something, there is a young man whose 2 plus 3 equals 8. Don't think he's confused that 2 plus 3 equals 8, if you want to take advantage of him, he's very clear about it. Understand? Taking advantage of him, letting him do some work for you, he's very clear about it, not stupid, right? Do you say there's a problem with his IQ? No problem, children are like this. There's no problem with IQ, so what's the problem? It's that people have problems with their perception of things.

【Question】7: What should I do to solve the specific problem of my in-laws being stubborn and doing whatever they want, causing trouble for the children in the family and blaming each other?

Answer: Then if you want to solve this specific problem, in fact, I'm telling you that many times you have to abstract the essence of the matter. I'll say this sentence again, you have to abstract the essence of the matter. I assume that what you observed is correct, so why are your in-laws being stubborn? The essence of this is that they are willful. Then why are they willful? Everyone, talk about it, if they are sent to the Myanmar telecom fraud park, will they be honest? Are they still willful? They're not willful. The essence is that they don't know how to be afraid of anyone. Understand? They don't know how to be afraid of anyone, and everyone lets them have their way. Letting them have their way has led to this situation today.

So what to do? Do you have such a position in your family to manage this matter? If there's a tough person, they'll definitely be honest. We Chinese have a saying: gods and ghosts fear evil people. If we people want to handle these things, I'm telling you that the problems are all caused by ourselves. But if you don't have such a position in your family, then don't touch it. So how to solve it? If you can solve it, then solve it. If you can't solve it, then avoid it. But if you still want to freeload off the old people, want to eat and drink their stuff, and then they do whatever they want and you're upset, what's upsetting you? Don't be upset. I'm telling you that many times, we're just talking about the surface of the matter, but we never manage the key inside. In fact, it's just that a person doesn't know how to be afraid, doesn't know reverence, and then just does whatever they want, that's how it is. Then if he's mentally ill, there are treatments for mental illness, mental hospitals specialize in this.

【Question】8: How do I clarify the relationship between concepts? I don't quite understand this.

Answer: Then I'll tell you why? Because you read this sentence, you only read this sentence, and then you don't know. Then let me explain again, what does it mean to clarify the relationship between concepts? I just gave several examples of the relationship between concepts. There are several awakenings in human life: seeing oneself, seeing the world, seeing all living beings. These are all concepts. Writers have explained it, and then we divide this awakening into three stages. Is there a relationship? The first stage is seeing oneself, the second stage is seeing the world, and the third stage is seeing all living beings. Is this difficult? It's not difficult.

【Question】9: Teacher, when learning a certain subject, is it like renovating a house? First establish an overall framework, then narrow the scope to learn specific concepts and the relationships between concepts, or learn one concept at a time in the order of the learning materials?

Answer: The learning methods are slightly different for someone who is just starting to learn or someone who has been learning for a long time. What does someone who is just starting to learn learn? Learn to recognize characters, that's how it is. What does it mean to recognize characters? Recognizing characters is learning concepts, does everyone understand? We are finally hearing that we learn to recognize characters. What is thought? Thought is a concept. What we think in our minds is not necessarily called thought. What is thought? A set of theories that have been organized is called thought! We call it Mao Zedong Thought, so if we want to have thought, we have to have a concept.

We learn to recognize characters from a young age. What do you do when you finish recognizing characters? You recognize a lot of characters, right? So what to do? At this time, you read a book, learn a subject, and come up and quickly flip through this book from beginning to end, and don't read it word by word, read it section by section. How many concepts does this book talk about? What should you do at this time? You build a framework. Except for starting to learn to recognize characters, which is learning one character at a time, one concept at a time, all other reading starts from the framework, and then goes deep into the concepts described in the book, and then the relationships between those concepts. I ask you, when learning trigonometric functions, sine, cosine, and tangent are all concepts. What is the relationship between these concepts, for example, what is the relationship between sine and cosine? It's 90 degrees, adding 90 degrees is sine. So in these studies, we must develop a framework, from the framework and then deep into it, because this kind of learning efficiency is the highest.

【Question】10: Why is not wanting to trouble others and not wanting to be troubled by others a poverty mentality?

Answer: Why? Why isn't it? Right? Why isn't it? Not wanting to give out, in fact, it's not that you don't want others to give you, because in the end it's still selfishness, and selfishness is a poverty mentality.

【Question】11: If the definition of a concept is incorrect, the logic formed will also be distorted. What should I do?

Answer: Because the definition of a concept comes from the classics, it's definitely not something you made yourself. It's easy to define a concept incorrectly, just by defining it in your own words, it will be distorted, right? So try not to use your own words, say what others say. Marketing is four P's, don't make it four Q's. You say: No, my A is bigger. You think you're playing cards. It's not four A's, it's four P's, understand? What are the four P's? Marketing is this thing. So what does it mean that the definition of a concept is incorrect? It's that we're messing around ourselves. No concept was invented by you, they were all things that people have already said.

【Question】12: The definition of active learning and passive learning is not very clear. Young children need to go through passive learning to grow up. Making them learn actively will only be what they like, and they will not learn what they don't like. In today's society, many units and companies have high thresholds, and you cannot enter without a certain level of education. So, I don't understand how to balance active and passive learning?

Answer: No need to balance. What is there to balance? I think we go wrong when we want to balance, isn't it? What is a child? A child is actively learning from the moment they are born, but later we push them into passivity, you know? What you wrote is a state of confusion, a muddle. You can tell that you are not a learner. Because you have not truly practiced, your definition makes you see active and passive learning.

Active learning includes everything, and all paths require active learning. Can you be active in listening to lectures? Can you be active in watching television? But the moment one merely looks and listens, they become passive. Why? Because they do not have the habit of active learning. I ask you: a child sits there and listens for ten minutes, but doesn't absorb anything for the next forty or thirty minutes. Do you think they can cross the high threshold of the job market? Even if they do, they will be useless. The problem is: a person who learns actively will also have good grades.

We might think that with active learning, academic performance will not be good, is that the understanding? Will active learning lead to good grades? Let's all discuss this. Active learning not only leads to good exam results, but can also get you into top universities. People who know how to learn will definitely get into those prestigious schools. If you are wealthy in the West, and go to the most expensive schools, it is still not easy to get in! I think if parents have this kind of mentality, don't you need to change? Can you change? If you don't change, aren't you harming people? You are in utter confusion and still trying to guide your children, only thinking about getting into companies with high thresholds, without thinking about doing the right thing.

【Question】13: I get dazed when I see technical documents, I feel they are very difficult, and then I don't touch them. How can I solve this problem?

Answer: How to solve it? It's because you get dazed and feel it's particularly difficult. What is that? It's a feeling. Is it really that difficult? No, it's not. Because you don't know how to learn, it becomes difficult for you. You didn't listen well in the past, but you can grasp a television drama at twice the speed, but when you look at technical documents, you can't even manage half the speed, is that how it is? Why is that? Because you have never overcome the feeling of being dazed. Overcome the daze once, patiently read the simple technical document, is there any word you don't recognize? What's written on top, isn't this what I'm teaching you? Look, it explains one concept, two concepts, three concepts, four concepts. The definition of this concept is this, the definition of that concept is that, and what is the relationship between this concept and that concept? Once you sort it out, how much is really there?

Because people are often lazy, and often not stupid but lazy. Intelligence is the same at birth, but the difference between laziness and diligence is huge. Too much of what? There's not that much. It's just that we feel there is a lot. Later, I concluded that people who think they have a lot of work are called lazy. Look at diligent people, there isn't much work! It's finished in a moment. When you look at the ingredients laid out for a meal, you think, how can this work be done, how is there so much? But people who love to work will make a table full of dishes in a while. Those who don't know how to do it just leave a pile of dishes after eating and think, wow, so many. There's not that much. It's laziness. Don't solve the learning problem, solve the problem of laziness first.

【Question】14: Teacher, can you share how to learn English?

Answer: Many people learn English the wrong way. Whether it's English, or Maldivian, or Greek, or any language, even those strange languages of the Pacific island nations, people have already summarized how to learn a language, but we haven't paid attention. Have you heard: listening, speaking, reading, and writing, you learn starting from listening. You say, I don't recognize the words, how can I listen? You are wrong.

I ask you: if you adopt a two-month-old black child from Africa, so black that they don't look like a Chinese at all. Then you adopt a two-month-old black child and by the time they are one year old and speaking, they will definitely speak Chinese. Where did they start? With listening. They didn't start with phonetics, nor did they start with recognizing characters. We adults simply can't learn better than children, because adults' learning methods are wrong. Language learning starts with listening, speaking, and reading, then writing. We start with reading and writing, and immediately make adults confused. You ask, Is that how you learned? That's how I learned.

I used to learn English the wrong way. Later, when I went to Singapore, if you didn't know English, wouldn't you be finished? Utterly defeated! Ugh, it was difficult. Later, I listened to how people spoke, and I spoke the same way. People said they didn't understand, so I slowly asked, one sentence at a time, and I quickly learned. Later, there were actually quite a few things that I didn't know how to translate into Chinese. I didn't learn English through Chinese, I learned English through English. I listened, spoke, read, and wrote in an English environment. You say, What if there is no environment? If there is no environment, you can create one, listen a lot!

【Question】15: Teacher, I don't have enthusiasm for learning, and I retreat when I encounter difficulties. How can I cultivate enthusiasm for learning?

Answer: This question is a bit difficult. A lack of enthusiasm for learning is actually a defect in one's character. Such a character will retreat when encountering difficulties, and in the end, one will accomplish nothing, and life will be difficult. Actually, enthusiasm doesn't come right away. Listen carefully to what I say, enthusiasm doesn't come right away, because no one has enthusiasm from the start. There is no enthusiasm for walking the right path, but there is enthusiasm for taking the wrong path. You can't follow your enthusiasm or lack of enthusiasm. You should say, I want to do this, it is my decision.

Then, how do you become enthusiastic after you do this? Because as you do it, you enjoy it. It's a matter of habit. You developed bad habits in the past, and today you want to develop good habits, the principle is the same. People tend to go higher, water flows lower. It's not easy to climb up, but it's very easy to slide down! But after sliding to the bottom, life becomes difficult, very difficult. No money, nothing, people look down on you, and you look down on yourself. I ask you, do you think it's easy to live like that? It's not easy. Then why live like that? Is that hard? That's harder than the difficulties you encounter!

【Question】16: Teacher, I get dizzy, have headaches, and feel sleepy when reading books or making short videos. Teacher taught us, it's been better these days, but it's still not working. My mind is always unclear, like mush, I forget what I learn, I can't remember. Teacher, I am very anxious?

Answer: Actually, what I'm telling you is: doing, doing, and then your mind becomes unclear, like mush, and you forget what you learn, is actually all related to being anxious. Calm down, sort things out clearly, and then write in a notebook: how to do the first step, how to do the second step, how to do the third step. Then, next time when you practice the first step, second step, third step, fourth step, how can your head be mushy? I've said that you don't pay attention to methods when you do things, you just do them blindly. After doing them blindly, you want to take a walk outside. Hey, what road did I just take? You definitely don't know. If you clearly know that I went this way, won't it be clear next time? Develop good habits, find the right learning methods!

【Question】17: Teacher, I don't like to study, and I detour when I encounter learning obstacles. Plus, I have endless things to do every day. Teacher, how do you solve this? For example, practicing typing. Although I can type, it's very slow and then I want to be fast, so I feel it's easier to write by hand?

Answer: Actually, what I'm telling you is, many people are doing these things, and later I found that many people in their forties also write by hand. I don't know what their problem is? Just those few English letters, learning pinyin, how difficult is that? It's not that difficult. Why is typing slow? Writing is actually much slower than typing. Practicing typing is actually abstracting what it is to the core. Let me give you an example: practice typing like this. Everything starts from the simple, don't just practice blindly.

For example: find a very simple paragraph, and then you practice the first five characters of it. How do you practice the first five characters? Because each character has its own pronunciation, you have to write out the pinyin with a pen, and then you type it. Actually, before you even finish typing the pinyin, the character comes out. It's actually divided into two steps: one step is typing, and the other step is to understand in your mind what the pinyin is. Is it A, is it B, is it C, is it D. Do you understand now? So, when we practice typing, don't detour. This is the correct learning method, so we take the correct learning method. If others can do it, we can do it too. If others do it quickly, we can do it quickly too.

I have corrected quite a few people with this type of problem. Because they like to learn with the wrong methods, sometimes when I am directly shepherding them, I get angry and even yell at them. People's bad habits are very deep. If we are self-righteous to a certain extent, your learning will definitely be very difficult. You must follow the correct learning methods that people teach you, and you will naturally get the hang of it. It's slow at the beginning, but it's fast later. If you are fast at the beginning, you will always be slow later. Which do you think is better? Fast for many years, or slow for many years? When you calculate the time, there's never enough time. If you don't do one thing right, and then you don't do another thing right, that's why you never have enough time.

Among us, some people do translation, not translation into Cantonese, which is a completely different language. They just do it blindly, and I correct their wrong methods. It's very painful at the beginning, but painful is painful, it looks very slow, but later it gets faster and faster. What to do then? I said: don't rush to translate, go and read a lot of historical books in that language, as well as books related to management. He went to read them. Is that slow? Slow, but the foundation is very solid, and later he learned to translate, and translated faster and faster!

【Question】18: Teacher, I procrastinate in learning, I don't like to read, and I often use being busy as an excuse to avoid learning?

Answer: Actually, many people are about the same in terms of intelligence, but a lot of intelligence is used to find excuses. What's the result? If you continue to procrastinate in learning, don't study hard, and use being busy as an excuse, you will definitely accumulate a lot of headaches for yourself, and even be deceived at times. You don't make much money in the first place, and then you get deceived, you're just stupid. People who procrastinate and don't study hard will definitely become stupid. Once people become stupid, it's hard to make money, but it's easy to be deceived, and you suffer losses! But people don't know it. I'm telling you today, will you still procrastinate? You can't procrastinate anymore. Our pastors sometimes really need to run alongside, when they are learning, initially procrastinating, and when they are trained into a good learning habit, they really need to be watched.

【Question】19: When sorting out concepts, I suddenly thought of a question, which is to establish a system of faith. If I want to understand the division of priorities in understanding, how should I start learning? For example: courses, Bible reading, concept sorting, etc.

Answer: Actually, it doesn't really matter which ones you learn first and which ones you learn later. It must start from one place. Our courses are all about building a framework, and then whether you are reading the Bible or doing other things, you are entering a deeper and more detailed understanding. So it's not that important which ones you learn first and which ones you learn later. The most important thing is to learn the framework first, and then slowly delve deeper. Like our 101 course, it's about building a framework, giving you a small number of concepts, and then the rest is a lot of details, going into deeper details.

That's it for today's Q&A.
