Introduction: What Matters is What You Do

Good day to all! Let us continue with the third part of our sharing on the theoretical system of healing and deliverance! You know a phrase I often say: a mule or a horse, you have to bring it out for a walk. Whether it resembles Jesus after the walk is the essence of the matter. Actually, this is very simple. I admire Deng Xiaoping's saying, his analogy of the black cat and white cat is particularly good. What good is a cat if it cannot catch mice? Doesn't a cat in the village catch mice? Raising a cat is not for it to eat fish, but to guard the house well, isn't it? Keeping a dog, and the dog doesn't guard the house, is that right? But now dogs don't guard the house anymore, they have become pets. The question arises, where have we taken our faith in Jesus today?

I myself am a top student type of person; people call such individuals academics. What does it mean to be an academic? It means liking to combine theory with practice in everything. Indeed, whether it's a black cat or a white cat, the one that catches mice is a good cat, but what exactly is its theory? For example, I categorize the《Bible》as scripture, and I call the sermons I preach 論 (Lún, discourse). Scripture and discourse, have you all heard of this?

Let me elaborate on this a bit. Scripture is a high-level summary of the basic principles of a profession or industry. For example, in traditional Chinese medicine, the 《Huangdi Neijing》 (Yellow Emperor's Inner Canon) is the scripture of Chinese medicine, and Zhang Zhongjing's 《 Treatise on Cold Damage》 and 《Synopsis of the Golden Chamber》are discourses. What is scripture? What is discourse? Scripture is a high-level summary of the laws of things, and discourse is how to use the basic laws. Therefore, the title of this lecture is: Binding and Releasing is the Basic Work of the Church!

The Victorious Church is Key

Brothers and sisters, even if you bring out Pastor So-and-so, John Calvin, Wesley, or Martin Luther, they cannot replace the 《Bible》. The《Bible》should be read well, and whose words should we read? Read the words of Jesus. Why should we read the words of Jesus? Because we must put them into practice. Think carefully, we must put the words of Jesus into practice. The things we talk about are all discourses. When we practice the truth in the 《Bible》, there will inevitably be deviations in practice. How do we measure the deviations? It's very simple: whether we resemble Jesus or not.

When have you ever seen Jesus preaching with hemorrhoids, bleeding all over the place? You haven't, have you! But I have seen Jesus heal people with hemorrhoids. I have also never seen Jesus undergo electrotherapy or chemotherapy, dying from treatment before even being nailed to the cross. What I have seen is Jesus preaching the gospel, healing the sick, and casting out demons. What did Jesus train his disciples to do? Preach the gospel, heal the sick, and cast out demons.

Why did Pastor So-and-so die of illness? If we return to the fundamentals, we must not assume that everyone is entirely correct in everything. We may not be entirely correct in everything; there are still many things we get wrong. If we were all correct in everything, we would be very much like Jesus. We must say that Pastor So-and-so was a remarkable evangelist, but did he truly understand the words in the 《Bible》thoroughly? A small question mark can be drawn. I believe he ran a certain distance on his path of seeking.

I also say without reservation to those who come seeking healing and deliverance, you have come to the right place by coming among us. Why do I say you have come to the right place? Because this place is about doing binding and releasing. Why do we need to do binding and releasing? Because this is the most basic work of the church. A victorious church is the foundation.

I will sort it out for everyone bit by bit from the beginning. Why do we often not see the promises of God fulfilled? Over the past many years, who has been able to explain these confusing phenomena one by one clearly? Very few! Why can't they explain it clearly? Because they are missing a very important point: building a victorious church!

This pastor died of cancer, that pastor died of cancer, why is this so? I tell you, I was also once confused. Why create the Chinese Mingding Destiny theological system? It's because of these confusing phenomena. I said they must not have gotten it right. If they had gotten it right, they should be like Jesus. If they didn't get it right, today I will return to the《Bible》to examine it carefully. After examining it, I suddenly understood the matter clearly. Do you know what Jesus said?

And I tell you that you are Peter, and on this rock I will build my church, and the gates of hell will not overcome it. I will give you the keys of the kingdom of heaven; whatever you bind on earth will be bound in heaven, and whatever you loose on earth will be loosed in heaven. (《Matthew》16:18-19)

After reading this, I understood that these were the words of Jesus. Brothers and sisters, do you know how many churches have truly understood the definition of the church? I ask you, what is a church? Is hanging up a church sign enough to make it a church? The definition of a church is not like that. What is a church? God wants to build his church on this rock. What is this rock? It is the truth of Jesus Christ. The powers of hell cannot overcome it. The powers of hell are the source of diseases. God wants to give the keys of the kingdom of heaven to the church. Whatever the church binds on earth will be bound in heaven, and whatever the church looses on earth will be loosed in heaven.

The Basic Work of the Church is Binding and Releasing, Healing the Sick and Casting Out Demons

Some people say to me: Our church is very good! I say: How is it good? He says: Our church has many programs. At Christmas, we wear big colorful pants, hold big colorful fans, and put on many performances for everyone. I say: Forget it! Your programs are not as good as Zhao Benshan's comedy sketches. Come and see! On Good Friday, we are going to perform the crucifixion of Jesus. What's so good about it? There's nothing good about it.

Brothers and sisters must know: What exactly is the church for? Is it for putting on performances? No! Why do today's churches say: Your church has this gift, our church doesn't have this gift. Your church has the gift of healing the sick and casting out demons, our church doesn't have the gift of healing the sick and casting out demons. Every church is different and has its own position. This is God's wondrous work.

The problem is we must clarify the concepts. What is the concept? What exactly is the church? What is the church as defined by Jesus? The powers of hell cannot overcome it. Let us ask ourselves: How many victorious churches are there today? I ask you, can you be victorious by wearing big colorful pants and dancing and jumping around on the stage with big colorful fans? You cannot be victorious! How can you be victorious? Victory must involve overcoming obstacles and defeating generals. You must fight in the spiritual world.

After fighting and whatever you bind on earth will be bound in heaven, and whatever you loose on earth will be loosed in heaven. The gospel of our Christ Jesus is a gospel of binding and releasing. It's not about having gifts or not having gifts. The most basic work of the church is to bind the powers of darkness, which means overcoming the powers of hell, which means preaching the gospel, healing the sick, and casting out demons. This is a key component of spiritual warfare.

Only a Church Built According to God's Word Can Be Victorious

We often say the kingdom of God has come. How does the kingdom of God come? Why haven't I seen it? Those who haven't seen it are living very miserably. Many Christians live very 힘들게, very miserably. Why? Because there is no victorious church. Why is there no victorious church? Because they have not done according to the words of Jesus. That is, they have not built the church according to Jesus' definition. They started off on the wrong foot, so the rest is even worse. If you don't build according to God's word, you don't do healing and deliverance, you don't cast out demons.

Chinese Mingding Destiny, if summarized in three words, is: Be Like Jesus; if summarized in four words, it is: Strive Earnestly; if summarized a little more, it is binding and releasing. Today, brothers and sisters must know what Jesus did on earth. A large part of Jesus' work was all about healing the sick and casting out demons. Jesus trained his disciples to do healing the sick and casting out demons. Jesus himself did healing the sick and casting out demons. Of course, he also did a lot of teaching. Then how did he demonstrate what he taught? It was by preaching the gospel, healing the sick, and casting out demons.

I tell those who come among us seeking healing and deliverance, you have come to the right place. Because this place is doing binding and releasing according to what Jesus said. The powers of darkness on you, I will bind them. These bondages on you, I will break them. I want to release you as a person. Therefore, everyone must know that this is good news. The gospel we believe in is to let the captives be released and the oppressed go free.

Everyone should take a closer look; being filled with the Holy Spirit is a key part. Think about it carefully. The first lecture was about what salvation is. Many people's definition of salvation is: dying and going to heaven, living like hell. We return to the《Bible》; the《Bible》doesn't say it like that. Originally, this salvation is for us to live out the glorious image of God, because we were originally created in this image. How do we live it out? The first step is: being filled with the Holy Spirit.

Being filled with the Holy Spirit solves people's problems one by one. What do we do when we are filled with the Holy Spirit? One Lord, one faith, one baptism, and then we must build the glorious church of God. If we read the 《Ephesians》, 《Ephesians》talks about building the glorious church of God; if we read the《Colossians》, 《Colossians》 talks about building the glorious church of God; if we read the 《Corinthians》, it also talks about building the glorious church of God, solving the problems that arise in the church; if we read the 《Hebrews》, it also builds the glorious church of God.

Reading all these 《New Testament》 《Bible》 is about building the glorious church of God. If you read 《Revelation》, 《Revelation》 speaks of the victorious church. It writes to the messengers of the seven churches: whoever overcomes will do such and such. You will know that building God's glorious church is the theme of the New Testament. Everyone should know: not overcoming is not the solution to the problem. Victory is the solution to the problem. Why have so many confusing phenomena occurred in the past? The key lies in not building a victorious church.

Not building a victorious church is deadly, because God wants to build his church on this rock, and the power of hell cannot overcome it. God will give you the keys of the kingdom of heaven. Whatever you bind on earth will be bound in heaven, and whatever you loose on earth will be loosed in heaven. Read these words carefully. If you build the church according to God's word, it must be a victorious church. If we don't build according to God's word, it is difficult to be victorious. You may follow it a little, but it still won't work if you don't form a system.

Truly summarize the gospel of Jesus Christ and form a system of faith. In fact, I later discovered that the system of the Apostle Paul is clear and unmistakable. As for others, I don't know. I know that the Apostle Paul is a builder of God's glorious church. As for whether others have built churches that are穷得叮当乱响 (poverty-stricken), I don't care, and I don't learn from them.

What I learn is from the Apostle Paul, what I emulate is Jesus Christ. If the definition is not correct, where can we go? Therefore, the concept must be clear. What do we want to do? How should we do it? What we want to do is to live out the glorious image of God. How should we do it? Be filled with the Holy Spirit. What do we do when we are filled? Build a victorious and glorious church of God, because a victorious and glorious church is God's intention.

Only When the Church is Victorious Can There Be Individual Victory

Many people go to build glorious families, glorious enterprises, glorious governments, and glorious cities. But I want to build God's glorious church, because the glorious church is God's intention. Do you know what the New Testament is discussing? The New Testament is discussing one theme: building a victorious church. But many people set aside this matter of the victorious church.

Some time ago, I went to visit a church pastor. That day he called to say that he couldn't come. I said, what's wrong? He said his wife broke her leg. Then after a while, I said I would go visit you again. He said it was no good, he himself had cancer. Alas! I said, that's so unlucky! So today, when we see these confusing phenomena, as a pastor, as a Christian, you should know what God's word says and what kind of church should be built.

Why can't this church release people from bondage? Because this church is not victorious! Why would someone bleed from hemorrhoids all over the place and eventually die miserably from illness? Because they are not victorious! Why are there so many confusing phenomena? Because the church is not victorious, not because of individual cultivation, but because the overall building of the church is not in accordance with God's will.

Therefore, let us return to the 《Bible》 to examine it. I will talk about the victorious church in two lectures. Not overcoming is the key to many problems, and the problems caused by not overcoming are very serious. From beginning to end, the Bible, from 《Genesis》to 《Revelation》, is all about victory. So you say, are those who have not overcome also saved?

Actually, in your concept, perhaps salvation and victory are two different things. But in my concept, salvation and victory are one thing. I don't know what salvation without victory is, nor do I know how to define it, but I clearly see one thing in the《Bible》: victory is God's will. Therefore, today let us carefully look at the phenomena around us, and your confusion will be easily resolved.

Let me give you an analogy: the Japanese devils were defeated; if among these Japanese devils there is the strongest soldier, who has ever won a martial arts championship, I ask you, is he a victorious soldier or a defeated soldier? He is a defeated soldier. Because you are in a defeated army. The Emperor has surrendered, so let's count everyone else together.

If you are in a victorious army, we have driven the Japanese devils out, even if you are the weakest soldier in the Chinese army, or the weakest soldier in the Allied forces, you are still a victorious soldier. Therefore, collective victory is very important.

Only Victory Can Lead to Salvation, No Victory, No Salvation

If we read the 《Old Testament》, we will see these Israelites, whom God brought out of Egypt with a mighty arm, but they were unable to enter the Promised Land and all died in the wilderness. Why did they all die in the wilderness? Because they did not overcome! God had originally prepared them to enter the Promised Land, but they did not want to enter, they did not dare to fight, so they all died in the wilderness. Most of them were people whom God abhorred.

So you say, were they saved or not? As for Korah, the ground opened a mouth and swallowed him alive. Do you say he was saved or not? So someone asks me: Isn't it said that once saved, always saved? Yes, you came out of Egypt and arrived in the wilderness, which is to be saved. But later the earth swallowed you, do you say he was saved or not? So let's just say that not overcoming is the end of the matter!

I divide Christians into three categories. The first category of Christians is: the Israelites in Egypt. Being in Egypt means being in the world. They are Christians in the world who are bound and oppressed. The second category is the Christians in the wilderness. Do you say there is no supply? There is. They have manna to eat and water, but most of them die in the wilderness. There is also a category of Christians: like Joshua and Caleb, who take knives and guns and enter the Promised Land. These are called victorious Christians.

Therefore, I call heaven and earth to bear witness to you, to make you understand this principle, which is to be a victorious Christian under all circumstances, to be a resounding Christian. If you don't have this concept, then I wish you good luck. I also hope that you can go to heaven. So the question arises: Why did the land that God gave to Abraham still need Moses and Joshua to fight with real knives and real guns four or five hundred years later to take that place back? That is, without fighting and overcoming, you cannot obtain the Promised Land. In the New Testament, where is our battle? To fight and overcome in the spiritual world is to surely obtain the Promised Land.

Therefore, in Jesus Christ, that is, in his victorious church, no matter how many promises God has, they are yes and amen in Jesus Christ. I once preached a sermon: All who come seeking Jesus are healed. Later I simply omitted the part in the beginning, and named it: All are Healed! Many people don't believe it and say: How can that be? Are all healed? Some people even deliberately come and ask me: Are all the people you serve healed? I said: Alas! There is one who has not been healed. He said: Who is that person? I said: That's you.

We think, why do people ask this question? Actually, he wants to stump me. What good does it do to stump me? If you stump me, will God's word be overturned? If you bring out Pastor So-and-so, can you overturn God's word? No! Many people are so confused, thinking they are the standard. God's word in the《Bible》clearly says that we cannot do it because we have not done it right, because our 论 (Lún, discourse) is not right. We are still practicing today, but the Bible clearly says All are healed, do you believe it?

Later, I tell you, truly all are healed! As long as a victorious church is built, in the face of the victorious church, the devil will be completely trampled underfoot. That is to say, in the victorious church, God will give us the keys of the kingdom of heaven, and the power of hell will be completely trampled upon. Therefore, casting out demons, binding and releasing, healing the sick and casting out demons are all one word, they are all one meaning. Binding and releasing, or healing the sick and casting out demons, healing and deliverance, and preaching the gospel are all the most basic work of the church. It's not something high-sounding, and it has nothing to do with gifts or anointing.

From today onwards, if you want to be a Christian, you must be a demon-casting Christian. In the early years, when I did healing and deliverance, it was quite difficult to cast out demons. As a result, some people peeked through the window and ran away. Can you outrun the devil? This thing is a thing of the spiritual world. Where can you run? If you don't run, the devil won't chase you. Once you run, the devil will possess you.

The Church Must Train Brothers and Sisters to Be Mighty Warriors Who Cast Out Demons

Binding and loosing are fundamental tasks of the church. The church is a group of people after God's own heart, doing what Jesus Christ did. Is it reasonable to say that we do not have the gift of healing and deliverance? If a shoe store hires you to sell shoes, but you sell biscuits instead, is that what the owner asked you to do? No. Jesus established a church after God's own heart for us to bind and loose. Instead, we are on stage in gaudy pants, waving gaudy fans, jumping and singing. Does this accord with God's heart? We even think it's something very high-end! I am very confused about these phenomena.

Let me give another example. A hundred or so pastors were gathered to learn worship and praise. At that time, one person had a stomach ache, a stomach spasm. A stomach spasm is actually a very small demon. As a result, that person was sent to the hospital. I wondered, what were a hundred or so pastors doing there? A stomach spasm is a very small demon. My mother had facial paralysis, rolled her eyes, foamed at the mouth, and convulsed all over. They called it a heart attack or a stroke.

I went up and cast out the demon. Don't think I'm bragging, because many people were standing nearby. I thought, what does a stomach spasm count as? It's really a very simple thing. Usually some people have stomach aches at night. Among them are some sisters who love the Lord very much. They call me, and after I pray with them for a while, they are fine.

I say the basic task of the church is binding and loosing. Do you think the church is for doing charity? That's what they think. Once I went to a very remote place, and the preacher there cried to me, Our church is not doing well financially, and we still have to make dumplings for these people. Some sisters said, Pastor, the dumplings you make are really bad. Can you make us seafood or fish dumplings?

After he told me this, I felt choked up. Is the church a place for eating dumplings? They looked at me, and I smiled. They asked me why I was smiling. I said, If it were me, I wouldn't be making dumplings for them; they would be making dumplings for me. It's a pity, because people are not doing their jobs properly. When did Jesus tell us to turn the church into a place for making and eating dumplings?

If you could make five loaves and two fish and distribute them to feed these people, then you would be quite厉害 (lì hai - capable), at least a little like Jesus. So after these people are done, they still feel wronged. Once, someone came to see me, and I brought him in. After I brought him in, I told him about Chinese Mingding Destiny. What I said was very useful, very useful. As a result, he said, Can you pray for my wife? I said, No problem.

He said, His wife's ear has been hurting for three to five months. I said, Then call her. It will be fine in a few minutes. He thinks I have this gift, I have this anointing. But he doesn't know how much effort I put in. In the early days, I put in a lot of effort. In earlier years, it was also very hard. We also made a lot of dumplings.

But later I knew to listen to what Jesus said: I will build my church on the rock, and the gates of hell shall not prevail against it. I will give you the keys of the kingdom of heaven, and whatever you bind on earth shall be bound in heaven, and whatever you loose on earth shall be loosed in heaven. Isn't this the road of healing and deliverance? Isn't this the healing and deliverance conference we are doing? Not only do we have healing and deliverance conferences, but in the end, when we minister, we will have class after class, group after group, and everyone will personally practice.

I train the brothers and sisters among us, one by one, all to become people who heal the sick, cast out demons, and trample on the power of hell. If you also want to become such a person, after I finish training you, you are free to choose whether you want to stay or not. I encourage you, this is not a gift; this is the basic work of a victorious church.

In earlier years, the suffering we endured and the tears we shed were because the church was not like Jesus, because the church did not do those works. Later, we repented, repented seriously. So brothers and sisters, you must know that if you truly work with God's words and with the brothers and sisters to build the church on this rock, how can the power of hell prevail against you? How could you have hemorrhoids? Everyone should know that hemorrhoids are a curse. It's nothing to boast about if you have hemorrhoids and still think you are serving God. In the Old Testament, after those people robbed the ark of God, they all got hemorrhoids.

So brothers and sisters, we must carefully ask ourselves, what kind of Christians do we want to be? You say, Why are you so啰嗦 (luō suo - long-winded)? I just came to get healing and deliverance. But I want to tell you the hardcore truth. The person I just mentioned, later I prayed for his wife, and her ear got better.

A person serving God, having earaches, stomachaches, and stomach spasms, these are all very small things. If they met Jesus, Jesus would definitely heal them all. This is the most basic work of the church. But if we set aside the most basic work of the church and do other things, how can they not feel wronged? Perhaps the grievances he suffered may still be God letting him suffer, hoping that he can wake up.

So the foundation of healing and deliverance is a victorious church. If it is not a victorious church, and you are doing healing and deliverance, and I am doing healing and deliverance, how can it be done? I have seen many churches that want to do what I do, but it is difficult to do. There are also churches that are very奇葩 (qí pā - odd). How odd?

Half of their church believes in speaking in tongues, and half of them oppose speaking in tongues, oppose being filled with the Holy Spirit, and oppose healing and deliverance. Later, I met the pastor of their church, and the pastor of their church thought of an idea. He divided their church into three parts, three preachers, you lead yours, he leads his. Is this called victory? This is called not victorious.

Later, that spirit of disunity continued to run rampant in the church, and the church had no power to fight back, because there was no unity! Everyone must know that this victorious church is not a rabble. A victorious church is a well-trained army of God. As a result, this church was divided into three groups. Does dividing into three groups mean victory? No victory. A non-victorious church divided into three groups is still not victorious.

Be a Treasure in God's Eyes and Strive to Enter the Kingdom of Heaven

How can a victorious church be established? It is to build it like I do, according to the words of Jesus Christ! Know that building according to the words of Jesus is老好了 (lǎo hǎo le - very good), good beyond compare! Once I went to a very large church, and this church had built branch churches in more than forty countries. Then we went to learn, and we sat down to see what they said. A pastor on the stage was telling his grievances with tears in his eyes: he was sued in court by members of his church, and later he suffered from insomnia and depression.

As I listened, I began to ponder. My heart is a little hard. I was thinking: Why is this? Why would such a thing happen? He's a terrible pastor! Building a church and being a pastor, don't end up like this! Then I asked: God, what were you doing? Then God's response to me was: Not victorious!

I analyzed it carefully: This pastor pursues the number of people in the church very much. He wants all kinds of people; as long as someone has a little bit of achievement, he supports that person to be a leader in the church. If so, whose fault is it if you are unlucky? Later, I examined the Bible, and Jesus said that the kingdom of heaven is like a man casting a net; when the net is cast, the good ones are picked into vessels, and the bad ones are thrown away. To give an example, is it easy to get into a famous university? Is it easy to get into Peking University and Tsinghua University? Beihang University, Tongji University, Zhejiang University... are all not easy to get into. Why is it not easy to get into? Because the threshold is high.

Those who get in are a bit competent. Then I ask you, have Peking University and Tsinghua University closed down? No. Later, I gradually raised the threshold of the church. I don't want ordinary people. I don't pursue numbers too much. I won't bring in those乱七八糟 (luàn qī bā zāo - messy) people. I don't want the bad ones. Many people haven't heard of a church being built like mine. Some pastors came to me and said: You can't do this. If you do this, there will be no one in the church. I said, Are there no people at Tsinghua and Peking University? There are people, how could there be no one!

I tell you, I only pick treasures. For example, someone came, and our small pastors were not very good, often doing things that were not too上道 (shàng dào - sensible). As a result, he helped me a lot. Why? Because he was the sieve: if he did something wrong, those who discerned good and evil with him would leave the church. Leaving is fine. I am very grateful to this small pastor, even if he is not too 上道 (shàng dào - sensible), it doesn't matter. I can slowly repair him.

Brothers and sisters, you must know that if you are Joseph, even if you are sold to Egypt, you are still gold. Can you understand? If you are Jacob, even if your uncle changed your salary ten times, you are still Jacob, and it will not delay God's blessing on you. In the world, God wants to find treasures and find gold, and treasures and gold are people like Isaac, Jacob, and Joseph.

Brothers and sisters, don't think that after entering the church, you seem to be helping God build the church. I don't want anything that is not a treasure. I was thinking, God, from now on I am determined to build a victorious church, so that every brother and sister in the church is a treasure in your eyes, picking the good ones into vessels and throwing away the bad ones.

Some people came to me: He tripped me up! I looked at him and replied: You have never gotten up, so what are you falling from? I think you haven't read in detail the Bible about falling. Generally, people don't read as carefully as I do. For example, if your hand causes you to fall, cut off your hand; if your eye causes you to fall, pluck out your eye. What does this mean? You will definitely be confused after hearing this. If you don't understand, you have to come and ask me. I know how to answer.

You say Joseph, who caused him to fall? If he didn't want to fall, who would cause him to fall? When Jesus talked about falling, you should carefully read that passage: If your eye causes you to fall, pluck out your eye; if your hand causes you to fall, cut off your hand. Actually, this sentence means that we are determined not to let ourselves fall, and falling is our own choice.

A group of fallen people build a church of fallen people; a group of strong and standing people build a church of strong and standing people. Who can cause us to fall? Because God is our rock. Today we must stand on the rock of Jesus Christ, because our Jesus Christ is a跌人的 (diē rén de - making people fall) Jesus Christ.

Because of Jesus Christ, many people fall and many people rise. If you fall, you are rubbish; if you rise, you are a treasure in God's eyes. I tell you, today you receive healing and deliverance because there is a victorious church here, a church that tramples on the power of hell, a church that we work with God to build on the rock of Jesus Christ.

The rock of Jesus Christ can let us overcome the power of hell and the power of hell, and the devil and enemies cannot stand before us. Brothers and sisters, you come here seeking healing and deliverance, without spending a penny, because healing and deliverance are freely received; this is the grace of God. Why do I say this repeatedly? Because I want to tell you, do you know why you are sick? Because people do not carefully keep and follow God's word.
