Introduction

Good day to all. Over the past period, we have covered twelve lectures on "The Gospel of Jesus Christ," six lectures on "The Gospel of Apostle Paul," and then "Sharing in the Benefits of the Gospel." Now, we are on the fifth lecture, "Receiving Authority to Cast Out Unclean Spirits and Heal All Kinds of Sicknesses." You see, if you become a minister before the Emperor and are then sent to the provinces to handle matters concerning the regional officials, the Emperor would grant you an Imperial Sword, allowing you to execute first and report later. The Imperial Sword represents authority.

You must understand that authority is no small matter. The healing of the sick and the enrichment of the poor that we discussed earlier are all good, but they are not the best. What is the best? The best is to have authority, to hold authority in your hands. The most powerful thing is still to heal people's sicknesses. I may not fall ill often, but if I can heal others, that is far more significant.

Now, we will discuss "Receiving Authority to Cast Out Unclean Spirits and Heal All Kinds of Sicknesses." This is not a rehash of old ideas, but a fresh take on them, and it must be repeated several times. This is because there are still many misconceptions, and many people have not yet received this benefit. I also want to take this opportunity to explain this doctrine clearly. You know, a sermon without substance is like a crosstalk without punchlines, a stand-up comedy without jokes, or a skit without a point.

A sermon must be clear and understandable. Why can we preach the doctrine clearly? Because after we have put it into practice, we find it effective. If I myself do not know how to use authority, if my prayers are not effective, if my service is not effective, and then I start preaching about "receiving authority," what is the use of that? So, everyone must know that what I am preaching is what we have done, what we have verified. Whether it is a rehash or a fresh take, empty talk is useless.

Moreover, to be able to do what Jesus did, what an incredible grace! To enable others to receive this grace, what an incredible grace! I think if each of us were like Jesus, like Apostle Paul, enabling others to receive the benefits of the Gospel, doing what Jesus Christ did, setting the captives free, liberating the oppressed, and healing the sick, how pleased our God would be in Heaven!

Our Lord Jesus certainly hopes to give us the copyright. If you copy and paste what Jesus Christ did, if you are copying homework, I tell you, the Lord Jesus will not charge you copyright fees, and He will even give you royalties. Do you understand? I tell you, over the years, I have found that playing games is not as good as fighting demons. Fighting demons is much more fun, much more fun than playing games.

So, along the way, I have truly given this benefit to many, many people. The problem of disease has plagued humanity for thousands of years. China has traditional Chinese medicine, and the West has Western medicine. Until now, whether it is Western medicine, traditional Chinese medicine, Mongolian medicine, Tibetan medicine, or Egyptian medicine, have they solved diseases? No, they have not. Medicine is so advanced and can make so much money, but it cannot solve the problem of disease.

Before the church was even established, I once thought about starting a business. What kind of business? In the future, society will be an aging economy, so I went to inspect nursing homes. The nursing homes in Singapore were quite interesting. I saw people with tubes inserted, waiting to die, and others gasping for breath. It was not a crematorium, but it was only a few steps away from one. I said, "I can't do this. It's too depressing to watch."

But later, I thought, how can this still be the case with such advanced technology? It turns out that disease is not just a medical problem; it is a problem of demons. The root cause of disease is unclean spirits. Taking medicine cannot solve the problem of demons, so it cannot solve the problem of disease. If you want to solve the problem of demons, you must have authority in the spiritual realm.

The benefits I have received from Jesus Christ are too numerous to count. You know, I love my mother very much. We have a great relationship. When I was in college, I would take the train for dozens of hours to go home for vacation. When I arrived home, it would be eleven or twelve o'clock at night. My mother would say, "Son, let's go to the convenience store, get some Northeastern sausages, Harbin red sausages, and two bottles of beer, and we'll have a little drink together." I had a very close relationship with my mother.

But later, my mother had problems with her lumbar spine. Because I used spiritual authority, even though my mother had only half of one vertebra left, she was fine until she was old. Whenever she was in pain, she would ask me to pray, and then she would be completely healed. All of my mother's illnesses were healed by my prayers. My mother really did not suffer much.

Later, my mother developed Alzheimer's disease. The lumbar spine was an unclean spirit, which we can understand. The unclean spirit destroyed a small piece of the lumbar spine, causing the bone to disappear and become deformed. But what exactly is Alzheimer's disease? At that time, my internal logic system determined that it was an unclean spirit. How did I determine it was an unclean spirit? People with Alzheimer's disease like to play with feces. Can you imagine that scene? It was hard.

Later, my mother got better, and she said to me, "Son, do you know? Actually, at that time, I didn't see those feces as feces." I said, "What did you see?" She said, "The feces turned into ginger strips." Do you all know what ginger strips are? They are small, deep-fried pieces, yellow in color. My mother said, "They smelled like ginger strips too, very fragrant." I said, "Did you eat them?" My mother smiled and did not answer me. You see how evil these demons are.

Later, I discovered that behind Alzheimer's disease was an old horse, and under the old horse were all unclean spirits. Why are they called unclean spirits? The old horse said that it was in charge of the sewers, all the dirty and filthy things. You know, this logic is correct; it is a demon. So later, I defeated the demon behind Alzheimer's disease. Otherwise, how distressed would I have been? If it were not for the benefits of the Gospel of Jesus Christ, my mother would have had a paralyzed waist; if it were not for the benefits of the Gospel of Jesus Christ, my mother would have had a life of ginger strips.

Behind every disease are demons. I am very clear about this. We need God's authority! We desperately need God's authority! If a person does not know how important God's authority is, wouldn't that be a tragedy? We must know what an incredible grace God's authority is.

Some time ago, didn't I tell you the story of a sister's brother? Her brother often ran around naked. Why? Because he had contracted syphilis, a sexually transmitted disease. The syphilis had infected his brain, and he had gone mad. Sometimes he had to be chained up, but now he is normal. Who did it? We did it. Behind it was a demon.

Therefore, we must receive the authority of Jesus Christ and not shortchange ourselves any longer. If your business is successful but you lose the authority of Jesus Christ, what is the point? If your work becomes your god and you lose the authority of Jesus Christ, what is the point?

The Gospel we preach is the Gospel of casting out demons and healing the sick. Many people do not want this Gospel of casting out demons and healing the sick; they believe in the Gospel of suffering and hardship; they believe in the Gospel of getting sick. I believe in the Gospel of casting out demons and healing the sick; the Gospel of Jesus Christ; the Gospel of Apostle Paul, are all the same. Sickness is a spiritual problem, and the authority of Jesus Christ in the spiritual realm is key. Therefore, the words I speak are not based on wise and persuasive language, but on the demonstration of the Spirit's power.

Have you been healed? If you have been healed, it is because of the authority of Jesus Christ; it is because of the stripes Jesus Christ bore for us; it is because of Jesus Christ being nailed to the cross for us; it is because Jesus Christ has given us authority. I have merely taken up this authority and made a small contribution. Actually, it cannot even be called a contribution; it is just a small grace.

Start to thirst for this authority! When I first believed in the Lord, I was amazed: Wow, this church is so powerful in casting out demons and can solve problems. That's great, I want this. I began to thirst for it, and it was no ordinary thirst. If I don't want something so good, am I stupid? Later, I embarked on the path of service and cast out many demons.

If you have also been healed and you also embark on this path, try it, and this authority is a great benefit. How would you know if you don't try? This is not some profound knowledge; it is simply taking up the authority of Jesus Christ and rebuking the unclean spirits to leave. Remember, being a disciple of the Lord and following the Lord is not a sacrifice, not a contribution, but receiving benefits and receiving authority.

I can testify to this. When the church was first established, not only was the church not victorious, but it also brought in roast chicken, roast duck, and braised beef to attract people, resulting in attracting a bunch of gluttons. What was the use of that? No use at all. But casting out demons and healing all kinds of sicknesses began at that time, and it was very effective.

There was a girl who developed unrequited love after graduating from our school. Do you know what unrequited love is? It's a one-sided love. The boy she liked was one of my employees. Then, as she pursued him, she ended up in a mental hospital, attracting demons. Then, I led this group of rabble, and we held hands on the lawn of the mental hospital, encouraging each other, and prayed there.

That mental patient was ferocious and twisted, but our prayers were effective! I believed it was effective. I never believed in the devil attacking me or jumping on me. I only believed in the authority of Jesus Christ. If our God does not allow it, not a single hair will fall.

With this faith, this group of people who came to eat roast chicken, roast duck, and braised beef on Sundays, of course, there were also some rabble who loved God, held hands, encouraged each other, and as a result, that sister was delivered. The demon was cast out, and she came out of the mental hospital. After coming out, she went back to pursuing her unrequited love and ended up back in the hospital again.

In those past years, the church was not very victorious, but we did many things. There was a sister who had kidney stones. You say, are kidney stones demons? Absolutely demons. After praying, the stones disappeared. At that time, the doctor had already pushed her into the operating room, and after busying around for a long time, they looked everywhere, wanting to take another picture to see where the stones were. After taking the picture, the stones were gone. As a result, she was pushed out without surgery. The doctor was very confused and didn't know what was going on. I tell you, that was the authority of Jesus Christ.

So, I was thinking, why would you not want something so good? Especially those very traditional churches, they feel that getting sick is to suffer for Jesus Christ, and some people even feel that getting cancer is to glorify Jesus Christ. What kind of glory is that? I certainly don't want it. So, brothers and sisters, you must know the preciousness of the Gospel of Jesus Christ.

Some brothers and sisters get very excited when they do healing and casting out demons in ministry. Once they get excited, it's bad because they think they are very powerful. Actually, it doesn't have much to do with you. It's just relying on the name of Jesus Christ, relying on the salvation accomplished by Jesus Christ, and relying on the authority given by God that you have used. I especially like to do experiments, and I especially like to use it.

One brother said to me, "Teacher, when I pray for others, their illnesses are healed, but when I have my own illness, I have to go to the hospital." When others are sick, he prays and heals them, but when he is sick, he rushes to the hospital. This is very normal; it's because people don't believe. If you minister to those people and they don't believe, they will be like that too; if you minister to those people and use the authority of Jesus Christ, but they don't want to receive it, they won't receive it either.

We talked about the benefits of being healed before, but this time we are mainly talking about the benefits of receiving authority. I think we are still at a very low level, and the church is still not very victorious, but using authority is effective because this is the authority Jesus gave us. The Bible describes the twelve disciples, even Judas, who betrayed the Lord, was among them, and the authority Jesus gave them was effective. Don't you think it's amazing? Judas also received this authority, and when he went out to preach the Gospel, he healed the sick, and the demons obeyed them, and it was effective.

You know, the people in our church are like a revolving door, one group comes and another group leaves, and after one group leaves, another group comes. Actually, many Judases have come out. I say this without any guilt. But many of the sick people they ministered to before were healed, and they experienced it firsthand. But because their brains were not very good, they left. If I healed someone, I would know it was a treasure, would I not want it? I would not want it, I would always hold on to it.

Anyone who has used authority to heal others, actually that doesn't prove anything, it only proves that the authority of Jesus Christ is effective. That's just a beginning, don't stay at that stage, know that Jesus Christ has given us authority, that effective authority is accomplished by Jesus Christ, know that the Gospel of Jesus Christ is a treasure.

The Bible says that there are also many people who cast out demons and then come to Jesus, and Jesus says, "I do not know you." Isn't that strange? The disciples of Jesus were very happy after casting out demons, and Jesus said, "Do not rejoice because the demons obey you, but rejoice because your names are written in heaven." How clearly this is spoken.

There was a pastor who was very powerful in casting out demons, making the lame walk and the blind see, and he felt that he was very powerful. Then he promoted a logic in the church, "You cannot have many teachers." Why? You can't steal his thunder. Then he began to build famous pastors, and what happened? It turned into a soap opera.

There was also a very famous American pastor. I once attended his evangelistic meeting. He performed many miracles, and many people were healed. He also felt that he was amazing. Is that the case? No. He just used the Lord's authority to be there and truly experienced the power of the Gospel and truly experienced the benefits of the Gospel. Then you need to know that this is a treasure, this is grace, and you need to pursue it more deeply, thirst for it more deeply, receive it more deeply, and become a disciple of the Lord Jesus Christ.

Here are a few myths that I want to debunk. The first myth: it's all done by the Lord Jesus, I can't do it. It's never because you can, understand? The second myth: exorcism requires deep spiritual cultivation, and people cannot have loopholes. If people have loopholes, they cannot cast out demons. The third myth: those who can do these things think they are very powerful. Actually, it has nothing to do with them. The fourth myth: when you cast out demons, the Lord Jesus does not know you. So they don't cast out demons. These are the four myths.

I encourage everyone to remove these myths and obtain the benefits of the Gospel. Why reject the benefits? The Lord Jesus eagerly desires that we all receive authority and benefits. This is not deep spiritual cultivation; it is the most basic work of the church, the most basic work of Christians. It's not because you cast out demons that the demons run into you, but because you are carnal, and the demons are already in you.

You say, "I have demons in me, can I still help others cast out demons?" Yes! It is by the authority of Jesus Christ that you act in the name of Jesus Christ. You say, "Then why can't I cast out the demons in myself?" Because you are being controlled by the demons, and you cannot get out of it yourself. That is why the church is needed.

If you can cast out demons and heal the sick, it is not because you are powerful, but because of the authority of the Lord Jesus. The Lord may not know those who cast out demons, but He certainly does not know those who do not cast out demons, because they do not believe in the Lord Jesus. And I tell you, distorting the Gospel is also cursed.

A few days ago, when I was preparing this sermon, I listened to some recordings of other people's sermons on the same topic. Later, I found that they were only deducing in theory, only deducing in theory, which is destructive. Later, I said, "Forget it." He is talking about what he has not done. Some pastors say, "Actually, I basically don't cast out demons, but I can discuss it with you theoretically." What do you think of this? I don't think it's good. Let's read the scripture, Matthew chapter 10, verses 1 to 4.

And when he had called unto him his twelve disciples, he gave them power against unclean spirits, to cast them out, and to heal all manner of sickness and all manner of disease. Now the names of the twelve apostles are these; The first, Simon, who is called Peter, and Andrew his brother; James the son of Zebedee, and John his brother; Philip, and Bartholomew; Thomas, and Matthew the publican; James the son of Alphaeus, and Lebbaeus, whose surname was Thaddaeus; Simon the Canaanite, and Judas Iscariot, who also betrayed him. (Matthew 10:1-4)

Prayer

God! Today, may you also send us out. God, as you gave authority to the twelve apostles, today also grant this authority to our brothers and sisters, and send us out to cast out unclean spirits and heal all kinds of diseases. Lord Jesus, open our eyes and let us know what is the hope of your calling in you! Let us know how great is your power toward us who believe! Let us know how precious your authority is!

Lord Jesus, give us a heart of longing today, so that we can proclaim your power and release the captives and the oppressed through your authority in this world, and let those who are tormented by all kinds of diseases be released from this situation. In the name of Jesus Christ! Amen!

Scripture Background

In Matthew chapter 10, how long have these disciples been following Jesus? I guess it's only been a few months. After these few months, all the disciples were gathered, and Jesus said, "Come, come here, I give you authority to cast out unclean spirits and heal all kinds of diseases."

The Chinese Mingding Doctrine studies this sentence, which actually has a profound impact on us. Jesus Christ called the twelve disciples, gave them authority to go out to preach the Gospel, heal the sick, and cast out demons. Isn't this amazing? Later, he gathered more than seventy disciples and gave them authority to cast out unclean spirits and heal all kinds of diseases. Then they went out to preach the Gospel, heal the sick, and cast out demons.

I think if Jesus Christ were still training disciples on earth today, there might already be twelve, seventy-two, then a thousand, then ten thousand, and so on. After 2000 years, many, many generations would have passed.

I ask you, if Jesus were training disciples now, how would he train them? He would call them, train them for a few months, and then what? Go out to preach the Gospel, give them authority to cast out unclean spirits and heal all kinds of diseases. Why? Because this is a spiritual matter. If you can't even cast out demons and only talk about a teaching, what is that? That is philosophy, nothing at all. We are talking about the Gospel of Jesus Christ, not philosophy, but a useful Gospel.

Later, I found that these disciples were quite remarkable in one aspect. Jesus said, "Matthew, follow me." Matthew might not even have known him. With one word from Jesus, Matthew followed Jesus. "Forsake all and follow me." They followed him. I didn't understand when I first believed in the Lord, but now I understand. What did they come to follow Jesus for? In our professional terms, it is called relying on Him. Following Jesus will definitely have porridge to drink and food to eat. Following Jesus to conquer the world, you can get an official position.

Do you all know that Jesus was about to be crucified, and they were still arguing about who would be the left prime minister and who would be the right prime minister, still trying to conquer the world. Jesus said he would be crucified. It had been three years. What was it like three years ago? Just like that. How high was the disciples' level? It was a very low level, a mind full of worldly and carnal logic. In fact, they were here to seek a job. If Jesus became emperor, I would at least be a prime minister, or a regional official if I couldn't be a prime minister.

As a result, Jesus gave them authority at this time, including Judas. I think Jesus was so unconcerned. Did he not know that Judas would betray him in the future? He knew, but God did it anyway. Why not go out and do something else? Such as going out to meditate and attain Nirvana? No, it is to cast out unclean spirits and heal all kinds of diseases. Are all kinds of diseases and unclean spirits related? They should be related, which means that disease is a spiritual matter.

Later, we clearly knew that disease is a spiritual matter. How is it a spiritual matter? Deuteronomy chapter 28 records that when people are cursed, they will get many, many diseases. Some people didn't understand the Bible, they thought it wasn't, but it is. It's to prevent people from looking at anyone's sin, but to let people see that Jesus Christ can solve this sin. So, seeing the glory of God means this.

Disease is definitely a spiritual matter. If you are sick, I can tell with my heels that it is a curse. Later, I found that cancer, depression, I don't even need to think about it, I can come to a conclusion with my heels. People with depression indulge in the flesh, discern good and evil, and love the world. People with cancer indulge in the flesh, love the world, and discern good and evil. It's always these three things, but the manifestations are different, but the results are all corruption.

So, healing the sick and casting out demons is what the Gospel of Jesus Christ wants to solve. Jesus truly bore our curses, carried our sorrows, by His stripes we are healed, by His punishment we have peace, by His precious blood we are redeemed, that is the logic.

So everyone should know that the level required to obtain authority does not need to be too high. Your level should be better than Judas, right? If you are better than Judas, you can use this authority. It is not that you deserve it, but that our God is willing, our God does it this way. What should the disciples do at this stage of training? Give you authority to go out to preach the Gospel, cast out unclean spirits, and heal all kinds of diseases. This logic is all connected.

As a result, the church has been turned into a place where they neither cast out demons nor heal the sick. It's better not to pray. The more you pray, the more serious the illness becomes. The more you pray, the more people die. I thank God that this has not happened among us so far. I hope there will never be a situation where praying causes cancer. We pray for those who have cancer to become cancer-free, because that is a demon.

We can also receive authority! How does this come about? It is freely received. Freely received, freely give. Jesus said, "As you go, preach, saying, 'The kingdom of heaven is at hand.' Heal the sick, cleanse the lepers, raise the dead, cast out demons. Freely you have received, freely give." What does it mean? Freely received, freely give.

It started with twelve disciples, seventy disciples, and in our era, there should be millions of disciples, and it is the same. Give us authority to do this, not to solve problems that science and technology cannot solve, and then profit by the authority of Jesus Christ. Some preachers will not pray for you if you don't give them money. We tell you even if you give us money, you are not qualified to give money, you have to know what offering is. You cannot profit by preaching the Gospel, freely received, freely give.

Never cast out demons for those who don't want it. Some people are sick and have demons in them. You say, "I'll come and serve you?" He says, "I don't want it." If you don't want it, take medicine. It's not our illness. Is it necessary to persuade you just to give you some benefits? Stomp your feet and leave. This is what Jesus said.

We will give generously to those who want the benefits of the Gospel, and forget about those who don't. Never make the Gospel of Jesus Christ cheap, and don't flatter people. How many people rely on others every day to preach the Gospel, which is annoying to watch. The thing they preach has no power, like plain water, no taste at all.

We receive authority, it is freely received, freely give. Then we go out to preach the Gospel, like sheep among wolves. Aren't we feeding the wolves? Did the twelve disciples come back later? They came back and said to the Lord Jesus, "Lord, even the demons are subject to us." These sheep entered the wolf pack, and the wolves did not eat them. Because it is not the sheep protecting themselves, but God protecting you. God can shut the mouths of lions, and He can also shut the mouths of wolves. If God does not allow it, how can wolves eat you? So don't be afraid.

Jesus taught them, "You are like sheep entering a wolf pack, be as shrewd as snakes." Why weren't the sheep eaten by the wolves? Be as shrewd as snakes, you can't catch them. Then he talked about persecution, and in the end, you should know who you should fear. Don't be afraid of those who kill the body but cannot kill the soul! He gives you authority to cast out unclean spirits, will you be afraid? You will be afraid. Then who should you fear? Are you afraid of unclean spirits? Or are you afraid of the devil? Or are you afraid of hell? Or are you afraid of God? If God is not in control, this logic doesn't make sense. What does Matthew say?

And fear not them which kill the body, but are not able to kill the soul: but rather fear him which is able to destroy both soul and body in hell. Are not two sparrows sold for a farthing? and one of them shall not fall on the ground without your Father. But the very hairs of your head are all numbered. Fear ye not therefore, ye are of more value than many sparrows. (Matthew 10:28-31)

Brothers and sisters, you have received the authority to cast out unclean spirits, why are you afraid of ghosts? Do you need to be afraid of wolves? You don't need to be afraid of wolves, nor foxes, nor weasels, nor snakes, nor big snakes. Our God is in control! I have come to this point with this belief, and the demons have not done anything to me.

Many Christians are afraid of ghosts. Earlier, when I was casting out demons in the church, some sisters climbed out of the window and ran away. Can you outrun a ghost? A ghost is a spirit, where are you running? Maybe your legs are not as good as Tang Seng's, and the ghost is faster than the White Bone Demon? Then what do you do? So I tell you, people are stupid here. As a result, this fear is bad, and the ghost comes. Just now when I was leading the prayer, someone said, "Because I went to cast out demons, I was attacked by demons, so I got sick." In fact, it was all brought on by themselves.

Jesus first talked about giving the disciples authority to cast out unclean spirits, and then what? Then he told them one thing, "After you have experienced it, what do you think? Is this authority good or not?" "Good." After it's good, then what? You should know who you should fear, don't be afraid of those who can kill the body, but fear God who can kill both the body and the soul. Then, Jesus said:

He that loveth father or mother more than me is not worthy of me: and he that loveth son or daughter more than me is not worthy of me. And he that taketh not his cross, and followeth after me, is not worthy of me. He that findeth his life shall lose it: and he that loseth his life for my sake shall find it. (Matthew 10:37-39)

He immediately raised the matter of obtaining authority to a very high level. At first, those disciples were very bad, but in fact, Jesus' standard has never changed. What is it? It is that you must love Jesus above all else, and the demons will have no way to deal with you.

What conclusion can you draw now? This authority is really a treasure, this authority is great, it can allow me to pay any price for Jesus. Because Jesus Christ gives me the authority to overcome the power of the underworld, heal all kinds of diseases, and enable me to obtain the benefits of this Gospel, so I am willing to dedicate everything I have for this, become a disciple of Jesus Christ, and serve God for a lifetime, that is such a choice.

But I am very clear that I have no way back. Think about it, if one day I become Judas, wouldn't I have to hang myself? Would the demon let me off? But I also admire those who cast out many demons, but later lost their faith and were deceived by demons. What do you think will happen to them in the future? They may seem fine now, but don't be hasty. I have reinterpreted this passage again. You will find that my sermons have a characteristic: I repeat the key points three times, so you won't miss them when you take notes.

God Will Give Us Spiritual Authority

This is a benefit! God will give us spiritual authority. Do you want it? God says, "I'll give it to you." God gives it this way, bestowing authority upon them. You know, the disciples' spiritual condition was very poor. They didn't reach a very high and profound spiritual stage before being given authority; they were given it from the beginning.

Why give it from the beginning? If not from the beginning, when would they get it? They were given authority after only a few months of training, to go out and use it. It is the same now. It is not that you have to reach a very high spiritual state to be able to heal the sick and cast out demons; you are given authority from the beginning.

I thought about our original "102 Ministry," which was a healing and deliverance course to solve the problems of healing the sick and casting out demons. Later, I invented the "002 Ministry," where we teach those who have just come to our church to pray and begin to receive authority. Later, "102 Ministry" actually became the theological theory of healing and deliverance; and "202 Ministry" became the case studies of healing and deliverance.

I think our Lord Jesus was a marketing expert, giving you the best thing right away. The authority of the Lord Jesus is like an imperial sword. Take up the imperial sword and go into the spiritual world. When demons see it, they tremble.

The most important thing in life is authority. Aren't you addicted to being an official and wanting to be one? You can mix in the spiritual realm and get a position. If you want to be a prime minister, be one in the spiritual realm. If you want to be a regional official, be one in the spiritual realm. You can be a very powerful figure in the spiritual realm, overcoming obstacles and defeating generals. That's great! Don't say I don't have this ambition. When I first believed in the Lord, I wanted these things. When I encountered something, I would rush up to cast out demons and deliver people. It was great.

The Lord Jesus brought out this most precious thing, letting us see the preciousness of this authority. What for? To experience the preciousness of this authority, to heal the sick and cast out demons. Then we understand that serving is the best grace, and we begin to give it out freely, without fear, choosing to be disciples of the Lord, building the church and working with God, so that the captives may be released and the oppressed may be set free.

For those of you who have been healed, don't you need this logic? After you are healed, asking you to learn something is like killing a pig, and you give a lot of reasons like "I can't learn." As long as you have that breath, you should learn. It's not just about being healed; you must continue to build a glorious church of God, willing to give your life to obtain it. How glorious is that! You will gain even more benefits!

Casting Out Unclean Spirits and Healing All Kinds of Diseases

You can solve problems that science cannot solve. What do you think? Anyway, I have benefited deeply. I thank my God for allowing my mother to never be paralyzed while she was alive. There was one time when my mother was paralyzed. What happened? She went to the hospital for a check-up. After taking the X-ray, they saw that one of her lumbar vertebrae was only half there. The doctor couldn't believe it and said, "With half a lumbar vertebra, can you walk? This is a paralyzed waist! Show me how you walk." She walked back and forth, and the doctor was puzzled, unable to explain it.

Then, after my mother returned home, she lay in bed and couldn't get up. She was paralyzed. In fact, the doctor was right; it really was a paralyzed waist. But because I had the authority of Jesus Christ to cast out unclean spirits and heal all kinds of diseases, I prayed with my mother, and her waist got better again. She got up and walked for many years. What would I do without this authority? I would have to take care of a paralyzed patient every day, which would be very upsetting.

Once, I had a reunion with my classmates. A female classmate told me that her parents had each been paralyzed for seven years. She took care of her mother from her forties to her fifties, seven years each, fourteen years. I ask you, isn't this life-threatening? Oh my goodness! Her arms and shoulders were all in pain. It was hard work.

Later, after we classmates finished eating, I shook her hand and touched her shoulder. I didn't even cast out any demons. The next day, she sent me a message saying, "You are truly a divine person. My shoulder was killing me during the meal, but when you touched it as we left, everything was fine when I got home, and my shoulder is still fine now." So you see how powerful this authority is; it works with just a touch.

The problem is this: an unclean spirit is a very small demon. The power of the devil comes from lies. Casting out demons requires authority. People have no power at all in the face of demons. But after people receive the authority of Jesus Christ, they overcome the devil, and the devil has no power at all. I feel that it is a great loss to not have the gospel of casting out demons and healing all kinds of diseases. I must say that I have received so many benefits from the gospel, and I really want you to receive these benefits as well.

One of our sisters is not that great or spiritually advanced. But thankfully, she is not Judas. Her sister got cancer, and she kept crying. I said, "God will remember your sister because of you. Go happily." As a result, God really did remember her sister because of her. Her sister had surgery and was fine. Her sister doesn't even believe in the Lord, although we did pray with her. But in fact, God gave us the authority. God is very humane, remembering our own family members because of us.

You know, casting out demons and healing diseases is such a great grace. There is no better benefit in the world than this. But many people have not received this benefit, and I am very anxious. There is a sister who was asked to shepherd her child and her mother, but not only could she not shepherd them, she often judged good and evil because she did not use authority. Her mother recently got cancer, and her child is always making trouble, and she can't handle it. So if a person loses the benefits of the gospel, it is simply a tragedy in life.

Where does a person's service begin? By obtaining authority. You don't need to be very advanced; obtaining authority is the beginning of service. Then, cast out unclean spirits and heal all kinds of diseases. This is the simplest service. In this simple service, this authority is absolutely effective.

We often lack a little bit of persistence. Now we know a lot of knowledge about dealing with demons. When we didn't know before, didn't we have to persist one minute more than the devil? At that time, persistence was just gritting our teeth. Now we are beginning to gain some wisdom and know how to deal with this demon and that demon. So brothers and sisters, know that obtaining authority is a benefit, and casting out demons and healing all kinds of diseases is a benefit.

Freely Give It Away

You say, "Freely give it away? Then I'm so stupid? Shouldn't I ask for some money?" No. Because you received it freely, you must give it away freely. After you give it away freely, the other side receives it freely. When a small authority is given away, there is a medium authority. When a medium authority is given away, there is a large authority. This is a spiral upward.

When we preach the gospel, we give people benefits, not burdens right away. Do you understand? Freely give away these benefits. That's why my preaching of the gospel is effective; I preach benefits. Like an old man who followed me, he sat in the passenger seat while I drove. He said to me, "Hey, this matter is beneficial to me. Why do you keep trying to persuade me?" I said, "Isn't that right? There's something wrong with my brain. Am I not persuading you?" He even realized the seriousness of the problem. So preaching the gospel brings benefits to people.

It's so uncomfortable to be sick. Who doesn't want to be healed? Everyone wants to be healed. If I can heal you, do you want it? If you want it, come, I'll lead you in prayer, and that's it. After people are healed, they can do whatever they want. I don't morally kidnap them. But when people experience God, their minds begin to work. After experiencing God, can they know that this is a benefit?

A brother's father couldn't open his mouth and drank milk all day long. Why couldn't he open his mouth? Because I was preaching on Sunday, and he was sitting on that sofa. I glanced at him and saw his mouth move. Looking at his mouth shape, I guessed he was probably saying, "Where are the demons? Where are the demons?" Later, the demons came, and he couldn't open his mouth.

After two or three weeks of drinking liquid food, wasn't that life-threatening? I said, "Shall I lead you in prayer?" He said, "Okay." So I led him in prayer. The room he lived in was a north-facing room. Later, he told me, "There are demons in my room." I said, "I live in a sunny, south-facing room. You come and live in my room, and I'll live in your room." What could I get from him? I didn't get anything. I just gave him benefits. What's so difficult about that? So brothers and sisters should learn from me and give this gospel away properly.

Some brothers and sisters do this: "Do you want to believe?" "I don't want to believe." Then they give up. Isn't that giving up? I don't do that. I say, "Do you want to get better? If you want to get better, then I'll lead you in prayer. All the illnesses I pray for get better, all of them. If you want it, I'll give it to you." "What are the conditions?" "There are no conditions. You don't need to spend money. I'll give it to you freely." After thinking about it, they say, "Okay." If I said it costs one hundred thousand, then they would give up. We just want to give it away freely.

Do Not Be Afraid

When we preach the gospel and cast out demons, it is like sheep entering a pack of wolves, but the wolves cannot defeat the sheep. Don't you find it strange? Because we have spiritual authority in our hands, we can command the wolves to "Shut your wolf mouths." "Shut your dog mouths, shut your fox mouths." Authority is powerful. If it cannot open its mouth, it cannot open its mouth.

I tell you, even if sheep enter a pack of wolves, nothing will happen. Why? Because I have the authority of Jesus Christ in my hand. This authority is powerful, this authority is effective. Then we learn to be as shrewd as snakes. Those who cast out demons must be as shrewd as snakes. If they are not as shrewd as snakes, it will be very troublesome. Why? Because if you are as shrewd as snakes, you are not easily deceived.

Some people cast out demons, finish serving, and forget to do a cleansing prayer. They are terrified when they go home. What is this? This is a lie. I never do cleansing prayers. What's the point of doing that stuff? Because I know there's no such thing in the Bible. What am I afraid of? I fear nothing in heaven or earth except my God, because my God reigns forever. I know that God has authority, and I know who I should fear. I will not fear the devil who can kill the body; I will fear the God who can kill both the body and the soul!

Why is this so? Because we are as shrewd as snakes. Why be like a snake? The snake is the most cunning of all the animals God created. If you have one less trick than the devil, won't you be messed with by the demons? If you are as shrewd as a snake, you have the same tricks as a snake, at least a tie. Plus the authority in your hand, won't you kill it? Moreover, you have one more trick than the devil!

Don't be afraid. Every hair has been counted. What's there to fear? What cleansing prayer, what demonic attack? What's there to fear? Don't be afraid. If sheep enter a pack of wolves and nothing happens, isn't that a benefit? It is a benefit. I want to obtain this benefit of the gospel, and then I made a decision to be a disciple of the Lord.

Be a Disciple of the Lord

Being a disciple of the Lord is the most precious benefit. Every spiritual blessing in the heavens has been given to us, and because of Jesus Christ, we have become sons of God, and because of Jesus Christ, we have obtained the great power of God's resurrection from the dead. I ask you, who can deprive me of obtaining benefits? No one can deprive me. No one can coerce me. It's no use.

My mother said, "Don't believe in the Lord anymore. Do you love the Lord Jesus or do you love me?" I said, "I love the Lord Jesus." Am I stupid to love you to the point of paralysis? This is the most precious benefit! Everyone must know this. Many people feel that "Who can do this?" Those who love their wives more than they love the Lord are not worthy to be disciples of the Lord; those who love their parents more than they love the Lord are not worthy to be disciples of the Lord; those who love their children more than they love the Lord are not worthy to be disciples of the Lord.

Having become a disciple, you obtain authority. It doesn't matter if you are a very bad disciple at first. No matter what the motivation for coming to Jesus Christ, becoming a disciple and obtaining authority, and then truly recognizing the benefits of this authority, you become more disciples who are pleasing to God. No one can deprive us of the blessings in Jesus Christ, and no one can deprive us of the authority that Jesus has given us.

Our enemies are often our family members. Family members often want to deprive you of spiritual blessings. Now take up this authority and try it. It is possible that the husband in your family is a wolf, but he cannot deprive us of the right to be disciples of the Lord, nor can he deprive us of the authority of the Lord Jesus in us. Everyone must begin to obtain this authority! Amen!
