【Bible Study】Genesis Chapter 45 - It's All God's Arrangement

2023-05-03 59,023 Genesis Genesis 45 Genesis Chapter 45 Faith Destiny Divine Providence Practicing Faith

Introduction

Greetings everyone! Let's delve into the forty-fifth chapter of Genesis. I've titled this chapter: It's All God's Arrangement. You must gradually come to understand that there are few things in this world not under God's control. Given this, what is there to worry about? It's just that we don't see clearly that it's God's arrangement, and then you feel you must arrange things yourself, yet in reality, you can't arrange them. Even the prime minister of Egypt couldn't arrange many things himself, so today we must know that it's all God's arrangement.

The story of Joseph begins to draw to a close in this chapter. Initially, Joseph was envied by his brothers because of his dreams. How could he, of all people, support the whole family and have them bow down before him? Wasn't this like a toad wanting to eat swan meat? People are like this, always wanting to ruin the Mingding Destiny of those who have it, but after much to-do, they can't ruin it because many things are God's arrangement. The result of Joseph's brothers' ruinous actions was that Joseph was sold into Egypt, but who knew he would become the prime minister of Egypt? God also arranged seven years of plenty and seven years of famine, just to make people come to Egypt to buy grain. All this was to make Joseph's dream come true.

So where did Joseph's dream come from? It came from God. And why did God give him such a dream, to have his whole family saved through him? Joseph was a very special child from a young age, yearning to receive the covenant that God had made with his great-grandfather Abraham, his grandfather Isaac, and his father Jacob. But thinking about it, it seemed a bit difficult because he had ten older brothers. However, this did not eliminate his determination to persist in pursuing it.

Most people don't have this kind of persistent character. Jacob's father only had one older brother, and a bowl of red bean soup could solve the problem. But Joseph had ten older brothers, so forget it. If people give up at the first thought, they give up completely. What's remarkable about people like Joseph is that even though he has ten older brothers, he doesn't give up. He believes that God has other arrangements.

His father Jacob had a dream to obtain the birthright, and God arranged another Mingding Destiny on the birthright to become the salvation of the family. Joseph's persistence allowed him to dream that his brothers, and even his father, would bow down to him. Most people wouldn't have such a dream. He was between fourteen and sixteen years old when he had the dream, and then he told it. Children are very interesting; isn't telling it inviting envy?

Many people object to dreams being spoken out loud, but in fact, you have to speak out your dreams. Because reading the first chapter of Genesis reveals that God creates every future thing by speaking it out. A few days ago, I met a sister who manages a school. I told her to have the dream of building the school into a famous school, to say every day, "I want to build my school into a famous school." Is that so difficult? God is a God who fulfills dreams, and that dream really is what you yearn for, and then God gives you the dream. Some people say that no matter how much they yearn, they don't have a dream. That doesn't matter either. You can have a dream with your eyes open, or if that doesn't work, have a dream with your eyes closed. The most important thing is the dream, as long as it's controllable.

I like to release vision, dreams, and faith to the people I meet. One sister asked if it was good for her to go into business. Of course, it's good. May God bless her! Another person said that a friend invited him to do business together. There's nothing wrong with that either. Working for someone else is a steady job until retirement, with no risk and no accumulation. Doing business does have risks, but what doesn't have risks?

The story has come to this point, and the fulfillment of Joseph's dream has truly gone through many twists and turns. First, he was sold into Egypt. Someone wanted to ruin Joseph's dream, but they couldn't ruin it. It's all God's arrangement. Once you know this, it's easy to handle. Joseph was sold into Egypt and relied on holding onto this dream to endure. Even as a slave, he held onto this dream, and this dream can resolve a lot of pain in a person's life. That's how I've held onto the dream inside me, and to this day, it has resolved a lot of pain. People have to pay a price for their dreams.

The previous chapters were all directed by Joseph himself, tormenting his brothers, putting his brother Simeon in prison. His father Jacob also suffered along with him. People without faith and dreams will definitely suffer. In the last chapter, the master's silver cup was found in his younger brother Benjamin's bag, and the brothers all thought it was completely over. Judah stepped forward, prepared to obtain the birthright and pay the price for it. He was willing to be a slave to serve the Egyptian master because the lost silver cup was found in his brother Benjamin's bag.

But after all the torment, Joseph confessed his identity, and everyone was completely stunned. Which of them could have known that this was Joseph? Even if they looked at his face and it looked like Joseph, and his voice sounded like Joseph, and even his gestures were very much like Joseph, they still couldn't believe it. He was the prime minister of Egypt. How could he be their brother? Only when Joseph admitted that he was the Joseph who had been sold into Egypt by his brothers did they dare to come forward and recognize him.

Then Joseph could not refrain himself before all them that stood by him; and he cried, Cause every man to go out from me. And there stood no man with him, while Joseph made himself known unto his brethren. And he wept aloud: and the Egyptians and the house of Pharaoh heard. And Joseph said unto his brethren, I am Joseph; doth my father yet live? And his brethren could not answer him; for they were troubled at his presence. And Joseph said unto his brethren, Come near to me, I pray you. And they came near. And he said, I am Joseph your brother, whom ye sold into Egypt. (Genesis 42:1-4)

He not only wept bitterly while embracing Benjamin, but also while embracing his brothers, including Simeon, the mastermind behind selling him into slavery. The meaning of this weeping is very deep. Although these brothers initially wanted to ruin his dream and didn't succeed, and didn't believe that they would bow down before him, today they have bowed down before him many times. Now the fulfillment of this dream is that God sent him ahead of time, and all of it is God's arrangement.

And they went up out of Egypt, and came into the land of Canaan unto Jacob their father, And told him, saying, Joseph is yet alive, and he is governor over all the land of Egypt. And Jacob's heart fainted, for he believed them not. And they told him all the words of Joseph, which he had said unto them: and when he saw the wagons which Joseph had sent to carry him, the spirit of Jacob revived: And Israel said, It is enough; Joseph my son is yet alive: I will go and see him before I die. (Genesis 45:25-28)

Although the gold and silver treasures that Joseph brought to Jacob were not of ordinary quantity, Jacob's heart was revived because he suddenly discovered that the beloved son Joseph, whom he thought he had lost, was still alive, and he suddenly remembered the dream that Joseph had told him when he was a child. It was all God's arrangement. Jacob's pain over the past twenty years, plus the practice of faith in his uncle Laban's house for over twenty years, now he submits. It turns out that God controls everything, and it's all God's arrangement.

If people believe in God and believe that it's all God's arrangement, there is no mountain of flames that cannot be crossed, and no pain that cannot be endured. If a person suffers because of a curse, there is no glory to be spoken of. But for the sake of the dream cherished in Jesus Christ, God will surely make this dream come true, and God will surely arrange it step by step until it is fulfilled. That is God's arrangement.

God Likes to Create Stories and Also Likes to Tell Stories

People all like to hear stories, and our God also likes to tell stories. Not only does He like to tell stories, but God also likes to create stories. God created the stories of Jacob, Abraham, and Joseph, and each chapter is very exciting. If we go back to the time of Moses, it was probably the Shang Dynasty in Chinese history, or even a little earlier, like the era of the Yellow Emperor and Chi You. The characters were all oracle bone script, carved on tortoise shells or bamboo tablets. Moses wrote a lot of stories, and if they were written on sheepskin, it would take many, many sheepskins to write them.

Moses wrote so many stories. Genesis and Deuteronomy each wrote several chapters. The Pentateuch occupied a large part of the entire Bible. In those days, the Bible was hand-copied onto sheepskin, and there was no printing. If a family had a volume of the Bible on sheepskin, it would be amazing. The sheepskin scroll could be called a national treasure.

Many years ago, before I believed in the Lord, when I was still in college, I wrote a letter to ask for a Bible. When I received it and opened it, I was surprised to see that it was all stories. I thought the Bible would be written in a very profound way, like reading the I Ching. You have to know that people who can understand the I Ching are very powerful. Anyway, I can't do it. After believing in the Lord for many years, I have found that many of the sermons people forget, but the stories are easy to remember. So this is also God's arrangement. Joseph is God's arrangement, and cancer is also God's arrangement. It's just that some people are vessels created by God to manifest His glory, while others are vessels created by God to manifest His wrath.

After reading the Bible, I concluded that the Bible records a series of people whom God delights in and does not delight in. Those whom God delights in manifest His glory, and those whom God does not delight in manifest His wrath. I like to tell stories. Whether it's Bible study or preaching, if there are no stories and only chapters of reason, it's very difficult to preach. Later, I felt that it would be good to tell the stories well. People are very good at remembering stories, but it's a bit difficult to remember sermons.

God is a God who likes to create stories, using Joseph's pain to create a story; using Jesus Christ being crucified, dying, and being buried to create a story of resurrection from the dead; using Jacob serving in his uncle Laban's house for 14 years to create a very exciting story. I was thinking, God! I hope that the days I live in this world can become a story created by You. Although the process is also quite painful, I'm glad I know that all of this is God's arrangement, and I can get through it. Everyone must know that without hardship, there can be no story. God is really humorous, making Joseph's whole family suffer for many years. His brothers trembled in their hearts when they thought about selling Joseph into Egypt, and they couldn't sleep at night.

It was hard to fall asleep, and it was still a nightmare. After waking up in shock, they were covered in cold sweat. Whenever they encountered bad luck, they thought it might be because they had done something wrong. Simeon encountered a lot of bad luck. This time, Joseph created a bad luck for him, making him stay in prison for so long, just to make him blame himself because of fear, and torment him like that. They thought they had successfully ruined Joseph's dream, but in fact, they couldn't escape God's control.

I hope that brothers and sisters can all become stories that manifest God's glory. I have been emphasizing that everyone must have Mingding Destiny. Don't think that ghosts control everything. You must know that God controls everything. Don't be confused when you encounter things. If you think that ghosts control everything, it will be ruined. You have to slowly repent of those ghostly words you have said. If you suffer a little injustice, you immediately feel that ghosts control everything. That's not faith. Although some people's lives are really directed by ghosts, even if they are directed by ghosts, it is God's arrangement. I have a lot of stories in my life, and I also like to tell stories. New stories are staged every day, telling of God's glorious deeds.

One day, I was hosting brothers and sisters who came from afar to see us, so I drove everyone to dinner. It was annoying to not be able to find a parking space anywhere. But as soon as I parked there, a car in front of us came out and made a parking space for us, just enough for me to park the car. They said that the teacher has his own halo. In fact, God arranging a parking space is a very small thing. It's not difficult. With God's arrangement, life is infinitely good. As long as it's not arranged according to a curse, but according to the dreams in our hearts. A person without faith is an evil person in God's eyes, and a person with faith is a righteous person in God's eyes. That's the principle that the righteous live by faith.

You Must Know That God Controls Everything

Joseph certainly knew that God controlled everything after coming through these years. He had been the prime minister of Egypt for nine years, seven years of plenty plus two years of famine. There must have been political struggles in these nine years. It was certainly not easy to have a Hebrew in charge of the Egyptian government. But Joseph knew that God controlled everything. The difficulty of being a prime minister was great, and the difficulty of being a prisoner was even greater. Even the difficulty of being a slave was not small. But no matter what, if a person has a faith inside that God controls everything when encountering difficulties, it will bring great comfort!

This comfort carried Joseph to this day. He dragged on for several chapters before recognizing his brothers because God likes to create stories and likes to be humorous. Some people are still surprised why this is so. Can't God control it? Of course, God can control it! Joseph relied on the mentality that God controls everything to get to this day, and we must also rely on this. So everyone must take it slowly. Don't worry. God controls everything. How wonderful it is that God directs our lives! There's no need to ask why. There are two reasons. First, God likes to create stories in you. Second, God likes to manifest His glory in you. God likes to control everything, and He really does control everything!

Some evangelicals say that God is in control, but when there is a problem, it seems that God can't control it. For example, they believe that God is in control, but when they pray in tongues, they worry that asking the Holy Spirit will attract evil spirits. What nonsense is this? Can't God even control praying in tongues? Can He still be called God? We believe that God controls everything. This belief will become your great comfort and will lead you through painful years! There was a time when I was quite painful, and it is still vivid in my mind to this day.

One day, a very famous prophet from India told me that I would go through a very long and dark valley, but in the end, I would see the glory of God. This gave me a little encouragement. In fact, even if he didn't share it with me, I would still come through it by faith. I know that God has a wonderful plan for me, and God will manifest His glory through me in this generation, and proclaim His wonderful deeds in this generation.

Brothers and sisters must know that the reason why Chinese Mingding Destiny Theology will have a profound impact on future generations is very simple. It is God's work. God wants to find a vessel in this generation to manifest His glory, to make us the salvation of many people, and to become a blessing to many people! Someone said to me, with your little appearance, you still want to become a blessing to others? Let's wait a little longer! In fact, I really need blessings, and I really want to become a blessing to others, and I am indeed waiting. But now I am more and more clear that I need to re-establish the concept that God controls everything. It is different from the evangelical concept that God controls everything. This "control" is the "control" that Joseph believed in, that God controls everything.

This is God Who Sent Me Ahead to Preserve Everyone's Life

And now be not grieved, nor angry with yourselves, that ye sold me hither: for God did send me before you to preserve life. (Genesis 45:5)

Some people question whether there is such a thing as sending people like this. Is it not possible? Is there a problem with being bound to Egypt? Of course, there is no problem! Of course, God can do this! It is perfectly fine for God to let you go through the valley of the shadow of death and see the glory of God in the end. But I tell you, nothing can change the fact that people must know that God controls your life. Joseph told his brothers that this was his childhood dream, which he had told them before. They wanted to ruin his dream, but how could they know what a wonderful grace the words "God controls everything" were in Joseph's life! This is God who sent him ahead of time.

Simeon was drumming in his heart, wanting to kill his brother Joseph, and he was worried and afraid every time something happened. What these people lack is Joseph's character and faith, and even more so, the Mingding Destiny in their bones. Some people attract ghosts, and some people attract God. Joseph said that God sent him ahead of time to be a slave, to be imprisoned, and then to come out of prison to be a prime minister. It doesn't sound like that's the case, but that's the kind of God He is. So I often say that if you live long enough, you will know that God sent me ahead of time to become a blessing to everyone! I also thank God that I want to become Your story and a vessel to manifest Your glory, no matter what kind of experience and hardship it is!

I know that nothing can ruin God's wonderful plan for me, and I also know that God will surely fulfill my dream. I have a dream inside me. I don't want to live in vain in this world. I just want to become Abraham, Isaac, Jacob, or Joseph in this generation, and to become the salvation of my family! So our vision and mission is to become a blessing to all nations and peoples on earth! It is now beginning to become a reality, and it is becoming clearer and clearer. No one and nothing can ruin God's plan for me! I was born for this, and God sent me ahead of time to this world for this.

To preserve you a posterity in the earth, and to save your lives by a great deliverance. (Genesis 45:7)

What God does next is such a gracious and wonderful thing. It's really great! You don't have to worry about me dying. No one can stop the arrival of death. What you need to worry about is whether you are Joseph, whether you know that God wants to create a story that manifests His glory through you. Do you know that God controls your life and controls everything? Do you know that God sent you ahead of time to become a blessing to many people? Are you Joseph, a truly dreamy person? That's the key.

If you think about those trivial and insignificant things every morning, it will be ruined. That's how people feel uncomfortable. Everything is a big deal, but dreams are a small deal. Such people can't be Joseph. Joseph is a person who can sleep in any bed without insomnia, and who can be joyful in God in any environment. Such people are very powerful. They can be the prime minister of Egypt and also the prisoner of the prison. Being a prisoner cannot deprive them of the Mingding Destiny in them. Even as the prime minister of Egypt, in a high position, below one person and above ten thousand people, enjoying wealth and glory, they will not be ostentatious, and they will still live in a humble and arrogant way. They are very powerful "great people".

That Glorious Appearance

"Hurry back to my father," Joseph said. "Tell him, 'This is what your son Joseph says: God has made me lord of all Egypt. Come down to me; don't delay. You shall live in the region of Goshen and be near me—you, your children and grandchildren, your flocks and herds, and all you have. I will provide for you there, because five years of famine are still to come. Otherwise you and your household and all that belongs to you will become destitute.' "You can see for yourselves, and so can my brother Benjamin, that it is really I who am speaking to you. Tell my father about all the honour accorded me in Egypt and about everything you have seen. And bring my father down here quickly." (Genesis 45:9-13)

Have you ever seen someone who pleases God and has dreams end up as a beggar? It is possible they might be a beggar for a time, but eventually, they will live a life of great glory. Joseph, dressed in the robes of the Egyptian Prime Minister, looked exceptionally glorious. An ordinary citizen wearing that would be beheaded. The glory of Joseph, even the stone on his headdress, would be enough for an ordinary person to live on for a lifetime—incomparable.

God bestows abundance, glory, honour, and power to those He favours, and adds wrath to those He dislikes. I believe that we will not only see God's glory but also see more of God's glory manifested in us. It is not that we desire that position, but because we desire to live in the glorious appearance that the Lord Jesus has given us in our destiny. That is truly wonderful.

Come to Me

Have you noticed two characteristics in the Bible? First, the manifestation of glory during the time of Jesus was extraordinary. Second, they all came to Jesus; Jesus never went to them. Some might think Jesus should go to the cancer hospital to minister, healing many with a touch? Jesus is not like that; He asks people to come to Him. Here, I want to answer a question: Why didn't Joseph, as Prime Minister, return to his father?

When do you ever see the Emperor come to you? It is always you who go to the Emperor. Historically, when the Emperor summoned a minister, it had to be led by a prince, a minister of the imperial court, or a leading member of the Grand Council. It was not something an ordinary citizen could casually arrange. Even when summoned by the Emperor, one had to be humble and bow in reverence. Walking in carefully, with rows of soldiers standing guard, holding spears—the sight alone could make one's legs weak.

Jesus never went door-to-door to find the sick; they all came to Jesus. There was once someone who offered me $100,000 to pray for his son. Am I that cheap? Would I go for $100,000? Actually, it is not about the money; it is about honour. People come to Jesus. The woman with the issue of blood squeezed through the crowd, barely touching the edge of Jesus' garment and was healed. Why did Joseph insist on not returning or writing a letter? It was so that they would come to him, and their lives would be preserved—that is the appearance of glory and honour. It is not about showing off; it is a spiritual representation.

Brothers and sisters, you must know, do not live so cheaply. Some preachers, for the sake of money, disgrace the name of God. Some people say, "Let me go and serve him." I say, "You better wait!" At the same time, I will give you a good excuse: "I am a bit busy lately." Joseph had his family come to him to be provided for; he had plenty of money. Do you think someone with God's presence lacks money? No, they are practically flowing with wealth. Those with God's presence lack neither glory, honour, power, nor money. His brothers and his father all came to him to be provided for. Although he was Prime Minister under Pharaoh, all the wealth of Egypt belonged to both Pharaoh and him. Because he earned all the money in Egypt for Pharaoh—truly remarkable.

During a famine, grain is priceless. Gold cannot sustain life, but grain can. In times of famine, having gold without grain is ruinous. There is a story of someone who met a divine man who gave him the ability to turn everything he touched into gold. After this person's dream came true, he eventually starved to death because the food turned into gold before he could eat it. Sitting in a pile of gold, he became a mummy, his mind useless. He thought turning things into gold was a good thing, but that kind of life was utterly ruined.

You must know that grain is a powerful thing. Joseph used grain to seize all the wealth of Egypt. Everyone in Egypt owed Joseph a debt of gratitude; their lives were sustained by what Joseph did, including his brothers and parents. So, brothers and sisters, you must know that Joseph and Jesus both have a very glorious and honourable appearance, able to be a blessing and salvation to many.

Jacob's Heart Revives

Jacob had been in pain for so many years. Recently, when Benjamin was taken away, he was very upset. If he had a Huawei or Apple Watch, he would be checking his blood pressure every day to see if it was spiking to 180, and his sleep quality would be poor. He was anxious because Joseph was gone, Simeon was gone, and now even Benjamin was gone. Although Jacob's faith was at its peak, at critical moments, his loved ones made his faith falter. Although Jacob was resigned to death when Benjamin and his brothers left.

In the past years, he had suffered greatly because his beloved son Joseph was gone. Suddenly, he received information that Joseph was alive and had become the Prime Minister of Egypt. At this moment, he remembered Joseph sitting on his lap as a child, discussing how to obtain God. Jacob loved Joseph so much because Joseph was interested in the kingdom of God from a young age. Jacob suddenly awakened at this moment.

People are easily deceived when they are in pain. Jacob was preoccupied with the thought that Joseph, Simeon, and Benjamin were gone. Suddenly, he realised that his children were actually all there. He needed to see Jacob one last time while he was still alive, and his heart was revived. No matter what difficulties we encounter, let our hearts awaken. It is all God's arrangement. We only need to consider whether we are blessed or cursed, whether we are Simeon or Joseph. If we are Joseph, no one can ruin God's good plan for us.

If we are not Joseph, it is a tragedy. Sometimes, people I minister to say that I have caused them to stumble, but they have never actually stood up; they have always been lying down. How can they be stumbled? You need to know what kind of person you are, what you have inside. Jacob's heart awakened, and our hearts must also awaken to be a Joseph. I want to be Joseph, even if it is difficult. I like to tell people that the Chinese Mingding Destiny that I founded will bring a new Christian transformation in this era. Those people stare at me with wide eyes, as if I have fur growing on my face or horns on my head—very interesting.

Our hearts must awaken, knowing that God is in control of everything; it is all God's arrangement. The hardship you experience is because you are Joseph. Although you walk through the valley of the shadow of death, you will ultimately see God's glory. Let us now cherish a new dream, knowing that in the coming years, we will see more of God's glory and see God's more beautiful story directed in our lives! Amen!

May God bless everyone!

Genesis Chapter 45

45:1 Then Joseph could not refrain himself before all them that stood by him; and he cried, Cause every man to go out from me. And there stood no man with him, while Joseph made himself known unto his brethren.
45:2 And he wept aloud: and the Egyptians and the house of Pharaoh heard.
45:3 And Joseph said unto his brethren, I am Joseph; doth my father yet live? And his brethren could not answer him; for they were troubled at his presence.
45:4 And Joseph said unto his brethren, Come near to me, I pray you. And they came near. And he said, I am Joseph your brother, whom ye sold into Egypt.
45:5 Now therefore be not grieved, nor angry with yourselves, that ye sold me hither: for God did send me before you to preserve life.
45:6 For these two years hath the famine been in the land: and yet there are five years, in the which there shall neither be earing nor harvest.
45:7 And God sent me before you to preserve you a posterity in the earth, and to save your lives by a great deliverance.
45:8 So now it was not you that sent me hither, but God: and he hath made me a father to Pharaoh, and lord of all his house, and a ruler throughout all the land of Egypt.
45:9 Haste ye, and go up to my father, and say unto him, Thus saith thy son Joseph, God hath made me lord of all Egypt: come down unto me, tarry not:
45:10 And thou shalt dwell in the land of Goshen, and thou shalt be near unto me, thou, and thy children, and thy children's children, and thy flocks, and thy herds, and all that thou hast:
45:11 And there will I nourish thee; for yet there are five years of famine; lest thou, and thy household, and all that thou hast, come to poverty.
45:12 And, behold, your eyes see, and the eyes of my brother Benjamin, that it is my mouth that speaketh unto you.
45:13 And ye shall tell my father of all my glory in Egypt, and of all that ye have seen; and ye shall haste and bring down my father hither.
45:14 And he fell upon his brother Benjamin's neck, and wept; and Benjamin wept upon his neck.
45:15 Moreover he kissed all his brethren, and wept upon them: and after that his brethren talked with him.
45:16 And the fame thereof was heard in Pharaoh's house, saying, Joseph's brethren are come: and it pleased Pharaoh well, and his servants.
45:17 And Pharaoh said unto Joseph, Say unto thy brethren, This do ye; lade your beasts, and go, get you unto the land of Canaan;
45:18 And take your father and your households, and come unto me: and I will give you the good of the land of Egypt, and ye shall eat the fat of the land.
45:19 Now thou art commanded, this do ye; take you wagons out of the land of Egypt for your little ones, and for your wives, and bring your father, and come.
45:20 Also regard not your stuff; for the good of all the land of Egypt is yours.
45:21 And the children of Israel did so: and Joseph gave them wagons, according to the commandment of Pharaoh, and gave them provision for the way.
45:22 To all of them he gave each man changes of raiment; but to Benjamin he gave three hundred pieces of silver, and five changes of raiment.
45:23 And to his father he sent after this manner; ten asses laden with the good things of Egypt, and ten she asses laden with corn and bread and meat for his father by the way.
45:24 So he sent his brethren away, and they departed: and he said unto them, See that ye fall not out by the way.
45:25 And they went up out of Egypt, and came into the land of Canaan unto Jacob their father,
45:26 And told him, saying, Joseph is yet alive, and he is governor over all the land of Egypt. And Jacob's heart fainted, for he believed them not.
45:27 And they told him all the words of Joseph, which he had said unto them: and when he saw the wagons which Joseph had sent to carry him, the spirit of Jacob their father revived:
45:28 And Israel said, It is enough; Joseph my son is yet alive: I will go and see him before I die.
