Introduction: Overcoming in Spiritual Warfare to Obtain Promises
Good day to everyone, and I am very pleased to meet you all once again! Whether you are joining me online, on YouTube, or here in person to hear the Word of God, I encourage you to take notes, as the topic I will be addressing is somewhat profound. This subject could indeed serve as a master's thesis in theology, entitled Putting on the Full Armor of God. After conducting some online research, I found hardly any content that satisfied me, and so I have decided to share my own research findings with you directly.
Over the past several years, there have been many phenomena within the church that can be quite perplexing unless interpreted from the perspective of victory or defeat. If one cannot overcome, one cannot enter the Promised Land. I first conceived of this idea from studying the Promised Land that God bestowed upon Abraham.
That land of Canaan was clearly given to Abraham and his descendants. However, it is puzzling that when Moses and Joshua led the Israelites out of Egypt, they needed to organize the entire nation into an army to enter Canaan. As recorded in the Book of Numbers, only those who could wield a sword in battle were counted. Because the Israelites were afraid to fight, they could not enter the Promised Land, and that entire generation died in the wilderness.
If one cannot overcome, one cannot enter the Promised Land! This has evolved into a core value in our Chinese Mingding Destiny theology, known as overcoming. In the past, when we witnessed the church's failures, we were perplexed: Has God ceased to work? Has the arm of the Lord been shortened? Has God ceased to save? These were the most common questions. Even today, we often see those who are not overcoming entangling multiple issues in their narratives of confusion.
A few days ago, a sister, without disclosing her specific condition, mentioned that her doctor had recommended chemotherapy, which is generally not a positive situation. Usually, when I encounter such individuals, the words I need to share are not well-received, as prolonged and severe illnesses or disasters are closely linked to curses.
Those who emerge from such trials do not dispute me on this matter. However, many who argue feel that their illness is solely the disease itself, entirely unrelated to themselves. This is an extremely perplexing phenomenon: people fall ill and still consider themselves to be like Job. I am unsure where they derive such confidence.
Defeated situations are ubiquitous today; a look around reveals this to be the hallmark of this generation. Back in 2014, I delivered a sermon entitled Is the Arm of the Lord Too Short to Save? This refers to Isaiah 59. However, even at that time, despite witnessing healings, deliverances, and miracles that surpassed many churches, the internal situation of the church was incredibly challenging. There were often divisive issues within the church; I will not delve into the specifics, but I experienced immense pain, as interpersonal relationships within the church became exceedingly complex. I termed this painful state of affairs a defeat.
During that period, I worked tirelessly, delivering people from demonic oppression, only to see them side with those who opposed me, despite having received grace through my efforts. I tried earnestly to explain matters to them, but whether one explains clearly is one thing; whether people listen is another. In my deep distress, I began to read Rick Joyner's The Final Quest.
Why did I turn to this book? Because on that particular day, I felt immensely burdened, as if besieged on all sides. I knelt to pray, and the Spirit of God prompted me to read this book. I said to God: Lord, I have read this book many times, but I have never fully understood it! Yet, since You have directed me to do so, I will read it again. I read it not only for myself but also with all the church leaders. I read carefully, making notations and marking passages, and I realized that Rick Joyner was describing the defeat of the church, with quite devastating portrayals.
He discovered that the armies of hell were advancing: The armies of hell were not riding on horses, but on the backs of Christians! These Christians were almost all well-dressed, outwardly noble and respectable; and they appeared to be highly educated, but they seemed to be representatives of every level of society. Many of these believers had more than one evil spirit; one was clearly in control. I noticed that the evil spirits could ride on Christians but could not get inside them, as they did with non-Christians.
Clearly, they could break free of the control of the evil spirits as long as they no longer identified with them. For example, as soon as a Christian ridden by a spirit of jealousy began to question the jealousy in his heart, that spirit would quickly weaken. When this happened, the weakening spirit would cry out for help, and the commander of the legion would order all the spirits around that Christian to attack him until bitterness and other enemies regained control of him. If this was not effective, the spirits would begin to twist the words of Scripture to justify bitterness, accusation, and so on.
After observing this situation, he also discovered a large group of captured Christians behind these armies of hell:
Everyone was wounded and guarded by lesser spirits of fear... The only food these prisoners received was the vomit spit forth by vultures (Discouragement), and those who refused to eat it grew weaker and weaker until they collapsed. Those who ate it became temporarily stronger, but it was the strength of the evil one... They even thought this slime was the anointing of the Holy Spirit!
Rick Joyner's view of the armies of hell was exceedingly dire. Afterward, he saw the army of the Lord Jesus behind him:
Then I turned and saw the Lord's army standing behind me. We had tens of thousands of soldiers, but our numbers were still far less than the evil army. It seemed that there were more Christians being used by the evil one than there were those who had joined the Lord's army. This shocked and discouraged me. And when I examined the Lord's army more closely, I was even more discouraged, because only a few had put on the full armor. Many had only one or two pieces of equipment, and some had none at all...
And among those who wore the full armor, only a very small number were well-trained and knew how to use their weapons. This army was followed by a group of people, much like the prisoners behind the evil army, but the two differed in essence. They looked happy, somewhat like they were drunk. They were playing games, singing, feasting, and wandering around the tents. The atmosphere reminded me of the Woodstock music festival.
Then the evil army began to attack fiercely. You will find that the whole situation becomes one-sided, and the church begins to retreat step by step, with heavy casualties. This is a tragic situation.
When I read these words, I realized that the church was in a state of defeat, and the church I had established was in the same condition. What was the solution? I focused on a sentence written by Rick Joyner: the path of ascent, that in the last days, people will ascend the mountain of the Lord and enter the house of the God of Jacob. At that time, I made a decision to set aside all disputes and cease engaging in such matters; I began to learn the path of ascent.
In that period, I did not know when it would end or when I could ascend to the spiritual summit. At the time, it was not that we were completely ignorant of the truth. We held weekly prayer meetings, Bible studies, gatherings, and many healing and deliverance sessions. However, essentially, we were engaging in what Rick Joyner described as warfare on the plains, primarily on the battleground of discerning good and evil. In other words, Christians were using the method of discerning good and evil to wage war against the devil, which inevitably led to defeat. Therefore, we decided to embark on the path of ascent.
So many years have passed, and we now savor the taste of victory, which is indeed delightful! Embarking on this path was truly difficult. In those years, we faced both the state of defeat and the challenge of climbing the spiritual heights, which was quite arduous. We continuously came to understand the truth of God on this mountain. What is the mountain of the Lord? It is the holy mountain of God's truth, continuously ascending in the knowledge of God.
The path of ascent has many levels. On the lower levels, such as salvation, prayer, faith, and sanctification, the devil's arrows easily strike. It is very difficult to remain strong at these lower levels. We read about the level of brotherly unity in books. Once one reaches the level of brotherly unity, the arrows of the devil cannot reach, which is much better than the levels below.
At that time, we noticed that those who remained in the church were unified, while others seemed to have been taken away by God or by demons. As a result, the church became increasingly united. When we entered the level of brotherly unity, the enemies' arrows could no longer reach us.
At this level, continuing to climb, we reached Galatians 2:20: I have been crucified with Christ and I no longer live, but Christ lives in me. In this process, we must constantly rely on the sword of the Spirit through abundant prayer in tongues. Over these years, we have truly tasted the sweetness of victory, which brings prosperity to the church. As we climbed this path, it seemed that the church was on the verge of collapse, but it persevered. This is the only path to victory.
I will share a few testimonies. Just the day before yesterday, one of our sisters, not young in age, developed a fever of 41 degrees Celsius, convulsing all over her body due to having ingested something poisonous. It seemed she was on the brink of death, but we persevered in prayer and she was healed. What was the reason? Due to a burst water pipe, the water brought by the fire truck was contaminated, and those who drank it were poisoned.
Under those circumstances, we persisted in prayer, and after a dozen hours, she began to awaken and entered a peaceful sleep. When she woke up in the early morning, she told us that she was completely healed, and we were amazed by the power of God. This confirms that even if one drinks any deadly poison, it will not harm them.
Yesterday, a sister called me, experiencing dizziness and blurred vision. I prayed with her for a short while, and she was completely healed. Beyond these things, more importantly, the church has become very united and continues to understand the truth of God. I long for more such churches and pastors, more overcoming churches, and more overcoming pastors. What I have shared today refers to Ephesians 6:13-17, which is the path to victory.
Today, you may still see many strange phenomena. When a child fights with their mother, her pastor comes to ask me about it. Upon hearing the situation, I knew immediately that the mother was not overcoming. A mother who is not overcoming, even if she seeks healing and deliverance for her child, operates at a very low level, with a very limited understanding of the Word of God, filled with many worldly logical systems.
Although she wants to bring her child to receive healing and deliverance, she speaks in a way that is not aligned with the truth when they fight. Therefore, when we see these phenomena today, we must begin to climb the mountain of the Lord, put on the full armor of God, and become an overcoming Christian. It is truly wonderful to be an overcoming Christian!
Scripture
For our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the powers of this dark world and against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly realms. Therefore put on the full armor of God, so that when the day of evil comes, you may be able to stand your ground, and after you have done everything, to stand. Stand firm then, with the belt of truthbuckled around your waist, with the breastplate of righteousness in place, and with your feet fitted with the readiness that comes from the gospel of peace. In addition to all this, take up the shield of faith, with which you can extinguish all the flaming arrows of the evil one. Take the helmet of salvation and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God. (Ephesians 6:12-17)
Prayer
O God, You are doing marvelous works among us today, causing our brothers and sisters to long to put on Your full armor. O God, grant to our brothers and sisters the clear understanding today of how rich, glorious, and gracious it is to be a victorious soldier in Your kingdom!
Lord, grant us this grace today, that we may understand Your words, take up the sword of the Spirit, put on the helmet of salvation, wear the shoes preparing us with the gospel of peace, take up the shield of faith, and use righteousness as a breastplate, girding our waists with the belt of truth, so that we may stand firm and fight against the devil, standing firm even after suffering trials. Lord, help us today, in the name of Jesus Christ, Amen!
The Kingdom of God, the Army of God, the Elite Soldiers of God, and the Equipment Bestowed by God
The first point I addressed was the introduction, the second was the scripture, and the third was prayer. Now, I will address the fourth point, which I would like to frame within the context of: The Kingdom of God, the Army of God, the Elite Soldiers of God, and the Equipment Bestowed by God. When we raise the concept of the Kingdom of God, we often say that the Kingdom of God must come, but we do not clearly understand what this actually means.
Today, I want to share with you that when the Kingdom of God descends upon this earth, the most important component within it is the Army of God. A country without an army is not a country. There are soldiers guarding the borders. People from surrounding regions can enter your country as if it were a no-man's land, plundering and acting as they please.
Throughout China's millennia of history, the entire nation declined due to the decay of its army and the weakening of its national power, and the country ceased to be a nation. It entered a semi-colonial and semi-feudal society. Today, the Kingdom of God is the same. The most important thing is the Army of God, which is composed of the elite soldiers of God. These elite soldiers need equipment. With these elite soldiers and equipment, we can safeguard the Kingdom of God and expand it, driving out the spirits.
Today, we aim to establish such a framework. In Exodus, it is recorded that the Israelites were led out of Egypt by Moses.
And it came to pass at the end of the four hundred and thirtieth year, even the selfsame day it came to pass, that all the hosts of the Lord went out from the land of Egypt. (Exodus 12:41)
When the Israelites came out of Egypt, God's intention was to build them into an army. Why build them into an army? To enter and possess the promised land. Why must they be built into an army to possess the promised land? Didn't God already give them that land? Because you cannot possess the promised land without fighting and winning.
That is to say, today we must have a concept within us: the church is the house of God, the church is the temple of God, the church is a place to worship God. However, many churches today simply sing songs, preach sermons, and sometimes, if you go to the hospital, they make soup for you. These things are very common in today's churches. But, the church should be the army of God, and Christians should be disciples and elite soldiers of God.
There are not many churches that equip brothers and sisters to take up the full armor of God. No wonder we see so many situations of defeat today. In fact, the tragic scenes and tragedies that Rick Joyner saw in The Final Quest, the one-sided defeats by the devil, are commonplace. Many Christians are even without armor. I don't know where they get their confidence, so joyful and happy, singing and dancing, but as soon as the devil attacks, countless are killed and wounded.
The scenes we see today are all closely related to victory and defeat; whether we are victorious is related to whether the church being built is the army of God; the army of God is related to whether the soldiers in the army are elite soldiers; whether they are elite soldiers is related to equipment. When we discuss this matter within such a framework today, everyone will understand. So we say, take up the full armor of God.
Building the church with the concept that the church is the army of God is definitely not a widely accepted concept. Because building the church according to the army of God brings a series of problems—the problem of paying the price. Many churches cannot persist. It is easy to build a church into a club, but it is difficult for such a church to win battles. It is difficult to even put these people on a training ground, let alone stand firm in days of tribulation.
After I have made the concept of such a framework clear to the brothers and sisters, let us not think that we are talking about a soldier, but we are talking about the army of God. This is the fourth point. This passage first talks about the Kingdom of God, the army of God, the elite soldiers of God, and then talks about equipment.
Withstand the Enemy in the Day of Trouble, Accomplish Everything, and Still Stand Firm
Fifth, this passage speaks of a very important concept: Withstand the Enemy in the Day of Trouble, Accomplish Everything, and Still Stand Firm.
Why is it called the Day of Trouble? Because it is a battle. The Day of Trouble is when we are participating in a spiritual battle. Fighting is not a very pleasant thing; it is a very difficult day. For example, in the Korean War, the Chinese People's Volunteer Army faced the United Nations forces led by the United States. On the one hand, the United Nations forces led by the United States were very well-equipped, and the Chinese People's Volunteer Army's equipment was not very good, but the Chinese People's Volunteer Army fought several victories on the Korean battlefield. In fact, fighting was very difficult, in a place where the winter temperature was minus twenty or thirty degrees, quite difficult; those were days of tribulation.
After the Day of Trouble, were you captured or killed? Or did you fall, get injured, or were you able to stand firm? Everyone must know that whether Christians can realize God's promises and enter the promised land is closely related to victory. You say, what if I am killed in the Day of Trouble? Don't think that bullets have no eyes; bullets definitely have eyes. Who can survive on the battlefield? Those who have a winning spirit in their bones and those who are well-equipped.
Today, we are fighting against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly realms who rule over this dark world. These pieces of equipment that we need are crucial. Let me explain the equipment to you. The key is to stand firm, take up the full armor of God and the equipment. Can we fight a spiritual battle today without equipment? Today, everyone must gradually understand that equipment is very important, and with equipment, you still have to practice.
For example, if you want to drill a hole in the wall, if you don't have equipment and try to dig with your fingers, you won't be able to do it by next year. If you have a piece of equipment in your hand, such as a hammer drill, it can be done in a few seconds, very simple. We need to know that whether we can win a spiritual battle depends on whether we have a rigorous mindset. Don't be a careless Christian.
Today we are talking about how to take up the armor of God. Do you want to still stand firm in the Day of Trouble? Those who fall are useless. The key is the equipment that God has given, which is for spiritual warfare.
The Sword of the Spirit
We are talking about the first piece of equipment: the sword of the Spirit. You must take up the sword of the Spirit in your hand. This is Paul's teaching. Although in Ephesians, the sword of the Spirit is put last, I like to put it first. Why? Because the sword of the Spirit is an offensive weapon. When you understand carefully, you will find that I like to use the sword of the Spirit in the process of service.
Last night I served a little brother who had a terrible toothache and swollen gums. I happened to have a service, so I arranged for someone to serve him first, and then I went to pay attention to this little brother. This little brother is very cute, but he has a bad relationship with his father. His father told him that he didn't want him anymore. In fact, how could his father not want him?
I led him to pray, and the toothache loosened a little. I used the word of God, that is, the sword of the Spirit, to teach him the truth. Because the sword of the Spirit can pierce people's thoughts and intentions and pull people out of ignorance. That is the word of God!
The word of God is very powerful; the word of God is the sword of the Spirit; the Word is God. Our Jesus Christ is the Word made flesh. Nothing is impossible in Jesus Christ. After I finished serving him, a little bit of toothache remained. I encouraged this little brother to go back and tell his father: Dad, I actually know you love me very much. This sounds very much like the Word. This little brother understood that he knew that his father loved him and that his father would never find a child on the street to discipline.
I am very grateful to my father for disciplining me since I was a child. My father whipped me with a belt and whipped me into college. Today you need to know the word of God, which people can understand. First of all, it sounds right, and at the same time, it is effective. You can carefully ponder the word of God, which is really very powerful. Later we will talk about the Q&A in Ecclesiastes. The preacher preaches the Word, the Word is God, which is what God said, which is spirit and life.
Today we must take up the sword of the Spirit. The sword of the Spirit is very powerful. Everyone must often use the sword of the Spirit. How to use the sword of the Spirit? When using it, you must know that the things given by the Holy Spirit are all aggressive and can break the schemes of the devil. For example, the prophetic prophecies given by the Holy Spirit. When we serve people, the Holy Spirit often speaks to us. I encourage everyone to pay attention to the thoughts in your heart. Sometimes it is not your own thoughts, but the Holy Spirit guides you to think of these things. It's just that we are not sensitive enough and often dare not be sure what this is.
For example, when I led a person who was about to go blind to pray, I said a prophetic prophecy to him: Anyone with eye diseases will be healed after I pray for them. As a result, this person's faith was immediately ignited. Is the sword of the Spirit such a narrow definition? No, I will give a few examples to let you know how to apply the sword of the Spirit. Prophetic words and the gifts of the Holy Spirit all belong to the sword of the Spirit. Therefore, it is very effective to use the sword of the Spirit to fight. It is aggressive in dealing with the devil and the enemy. The sword of the Spirit is the word of God. These two things include spirituality and understanding.
How can we get more of the Holy Spirit? In fact, when the Holy Spirit fills us, a gift comes down. If you are familiar with the Bible, you will know that the first Holy Spirit came down on the day of Pentecost. A large group of people were praying in tongues, and everyone thought they were drunk.
When the Holy Spirit is working among us, how do we take up the sword of the Spirit? A lot of praying in tongues. In earlier years, although we did not put on the full armor and were not yet in a state of victory in battle, I realized a truth, which is to imitate Paul. Paul said that I pray in the Holy Spirit with more tongues than you all, so I knelt down and prayed in tongues a lot. At that time, the church did not have so many people, so much money, or so many services, only a lot of time. Later, I led the brothers and sisters to pray in tongues a lot. As a result, miracles sprung up like mushrooms after rain. This is called spirituality.
Being filled with the Holy Spirit, praying in tongues, and taking up the sword of the Spirit are closely related, so I encourage everyone to pray in tongues a lot. You may say: I prayed in tongues a lot, but nothing happened! It's like you had a meal with me today and said: Why didn't I grow taller? It's similar to this. Start praying in tongues a lot today. This is spirituality, but it has no effect on our understanding. That is to say, the word of God can understand the Bible. While reading the word of God, while praying in tongues a lot, you will definitely take up the sword of the Spirit.
What exactly is the word of God? The words in the Bible describe how God sees things, which is the word of God. God sees the essence of things. But we people often don't accept it, thinking that God's words are not good, that living according to God's words is not good at all, and that we don't believe in God's words at all. How God sees, we see, this is a basic concept that I am conveying.
How God sees this matter, I see this matter; if God thinks this matter is good, I think this matter is good. God likes Abraham, I will be a person like Abraham; God likes Isaac, I will be a person like Isaac; God likes Jacob, I will be a person like Jacob; God likes Joseph, I will be a person like Joseph, this thing is simple. God likes Abraham, Isaac, Jacob, and Joseph, but some pastors criticize them. There is a sentence in the Bible. I don’t know if it can be applied to these people:
I will bless them that bless thee, and curse him that curseth thee: and in thee shall all families of the earth be blessed. (Genesis 12:3)
God will curse those who curse Abraham, and God will bless those who bless Abraham. If I want to imitate Abraham, am I blessed? If I am blessed, can it not be good? It's better than being cursed! Always picking on Abraham's faults, is that the word of God? That is not the word of God, so we must know in understanding how God sees. We should imitate those whom God pleases and not pick on their faults.
The people whom God pleases are clearly described in the Bible. So how God sees is the word of God, which is the essence of things. Ecclesiastes says that people living is vanity of vanities, and there is not much difference between people and beasts. People die the same way and beasts die the same way, but there is one thing: if a person lives to live, it is like a beast. When you master the word of God and begin to choose to live according to God's word, you will live out the glorious image of God and will not be like a beast, but like God. So, either choose to be like God or choose to be like a beast.
So how is the sword of the Spirit described in Rick Joyner's book? He said that the sword of the Spirit is very important: When I was climbing a mountain, many places were wet and slippery, and I couldn't grab anything. I had to insert the sword into the mountain and grab the sword tightly to climb up with the sword. There are many times when we cannot climb up when we climb because we do not understand the things of truth. So it is the Holy Spirit who guides us to know all kinds of truths, which is the key to the key.
Gird Your Waist with the Belt of Truth
When we rock climb, we must wear a belt. There is also a buckle on the belt that can be hung on the climbing rope. In other words, the belt of truth is closely related to the stability of standing. Where did I get this concept from? I got the concept from Rick Joyner's The Final Quest. When we climb to the peak of truth, every level we climb is not easy. We need to tie the belt around the sword of the Spirit to avoid falling. When many construction workers are working, safety belts must be tied around their waists and legs.
With the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God, it is impossible to fall, which is even more stable than the safety buckle in rock climbing. But if we don't have the belt of truth, we can't connect with God's sword. So we must have God's truth in our hearts and we must have the basic concept of biblical truth.
When we are at a relatively low level, such as faith, salvation, and sanctification, these are very low levels. Although we have begun to climb the mountain of the Lord and enter the temple of the God of Jacob, we are still a bit far away. At a low level, there are swords shot by demons behind us, and we have to climb forward, which is wet and slippery, and we will fall. It is actually very difficult at these levels.
In other words, without the sword of the Spirit, where can we rely on even if we have the belt of truth? If we have the sword of the Spirit, have the word of God, and have mastered some concepts of truth in our hearts, we can buckle on the sword of the Spirit and continue to climb up. Everything must start at a very low level and then climb to a high level.
Many people confuse praying in tongues and say: Oh, praying in tongues is a relatively small gift, so we don’t pray in tongues. Don’t think that it is not needed because it is a small gift. Although praying in tongues is a small gift, it is very important. This is why some people cannot win battles, because they are lacking in truth, and they cannot even understand praying in tongues thoroughly, and they do not understand the words recorded in the Bible.
What then? I will pray with my spirit, and I will also pray with my understanding. I will sing with my spirit, and I will also sing with my understanding. (1 Corinthians 14:15)
Many feel they cannot pray in tongues, but this is quite contrary to the Bible. The binding truths in Chinese Mingding Destiny, such as church pastoral care, brotherly unity, salvation, the Gospel, and shepherding – these truths related to the church are all described in the Bible. We have been discussing building the church, constructing it according to God's army. Many Christians are severely lacking in these truths and their concepts are confused. Why? Because the devil releases too many lies, coupled with human self-righteousness. How can there be Holy Spirit binding truths, let alone the sword of the Spirit?
Therefore, today we must take up the sword of the Spirit and gird our waist with the belt of truth, so that we can stand firm. What is the belt of truth? It is the truth of God. We must begin to clarify all kinds of concepts and establish a system of faith. Someone asked me the other day: Teacher, how do we establish a system of faith? This is a very good question. What we have been talking about all along is establishing a system of faith. Without a system of faith, things become very chaotic.
The concept for today is: only through victory can we obtain the promise. After we have won the battle, we can inherit the promised land. So, today we must gird our waist with the belt of truth, clarifying what we do not understand. Never pretend to understand; pretense and hypocrisy are not wise choices.
Within the 102 ministry, there are several such questions: Why pursue being like Jesus? How do we pursue being like Jesus? We need to clarify these questions. This also includes other truths, such as in Ephesians chapter 5, where Paul discusses the relationship between husband and wife, and then mentions:
This is a great mystery, but I speak concerning Christ and the church. (Ephesians 5:32)
When we read the Bible, we often like to overlook the most important part. Therefore, we must read the Bible carefully, establish a system of faith, and once the foundation is solid, we will not easily fall. Truth is the understanding of God. We must take up the sword of the Spirit and gird our waist with the belt of truth. Why did Paul talk about girding our waist with the belt of truth? Because only the belt of truth, connected to the sword of the Spirit, can make us stand firm. Tying the belt around the neck or putting it on the head is useless. Only the waist can support us; it is a very important support point.
Put on the Helmet of Salvation
The helmet of salvation is also a very important part, but many have become confused about the word salvation. They often say: Oh, salvation means going to heaven after death. But I have searched the Bible and have not found that salvation means going to heaven. In fact, the helmet of salvation means that God wants to solve the problems in our minds. Once we put on the helmet of salvation, which is wearing the salvation accomplished by Jesus Christ, it can protect our hearts and minds, and our minds will not easily be deceived by Satan, leading to confusion.
When we have the belt of truth around our waist, the sword of the Spirit in our hand, and the helmet of salvation on our head, this helmet of salvation solves the choices made by our understanding. Today, once we put on the helmet of salvation, the devil cannot deprive us of our right to choose, but we must also be responsible for the choices we make. After putting on the helmet of salvation, we clearly know God's salvation in our minds. This salvation is the right to choose in understanding, which represents human intelligence and wisdom, which God can restore.
Salvation is the continuous restoration of our inner intelligence, wisdom, understanding, and thoughts to the image God originally created us to have. In fact, we can restore our wisdom to be like Jesus, our glorious destiny to be like Jesus, and our ability to choose to rely on the Holy Spirit to deal with the devil's lies, just like Jesus. Putting on the helmet of salvation means that Jesus has redeemed us. Before Jesus accomplished salvation, the devil controlled our minds, so our minds were often confused.
In the past period, I have been working hard to cast out demons, remove confusion from people, and constantly learn to become smarter. This is definitely better than Brain Gold. Brain Gold or any other brain supplement is useless. Sometimes I would joke: How could you do such a brainless thing? What's in your head? A head full of tofu? This represents a confused state of mind. But today, we have salvation, which means that God wants to restore our original glorious image.
If you restore the way God originally created us to be, you restore your mind. The human brain is very important. What is a person without a brain like? If we describe a person with a brain like a walnut and a heart like a peanut, isn't that just a useless person? If your brain used to be like a walnut and your heart like a peanut, but today God is going to change you, give you a new heart. Your heart used to be to the left, but now it's to the right. Your heart used to be foolish, but now it's becoming wise. You used to live in emptiness, but today you will live in destiny.
Salvation means that God is determined to restore your brain, to make your brain work well. Before Adam ate the fruit of the tree of the knowledge of good and evil, he enjoyed working very much. But after eating the fruit of the tree of the knowledge of good and evil, people became stupid and had to toil to make a living.
So, if you want your brain to work well, you declare that God can surely restore my glorious image, and then start to enjoy it. Will you put on this helmet of salvation? Once you put it on, first, it restores your right to choose in your mind; second, you must begin to understand the concept of salvation clearly; third, your thoughts and understanding begin to be like God. And then you will have the intelligence and wisdom that comes from God. I tell you, you will definitely become very powerful.
Today, every brother and sister will no longer say that they are stupid or bad. Start telling yourself that God can surely restore that glorious image of mine, like God. This is the helmet of salvation.
Shoes of the Gospel of Peace
The upper plate – the head; the middle plate – the waist; the lower plate – the legs and feet. That is to say, the whole person must be fully equipped from head to toe. When preaching the Gospel, be careful not to preach it wrongly. Put on the shoes of the Gospel of peace. Don't preach an unpeaceful gospel. Many people preach the Gospel wrongly and turn it into a woe-spel”. Gospel and woe-spel sound similar, but their meanings are far apart. One is good news and the other is bad news.
For example, if a person has cancer and says to others: My cancer makes me suffer, but despite my suffering, I still believe in the Lord. Isn't my faith genuine? They have already been defeated and are living under a curse. What are they talking about? People will think that the Gospel seems to be not-so-good news. Some people will say: Oh! I don't want to believe and end up like you, I don't want that. What kind of Gospel is that? Some people preach the Gospel saying: If God doesn't heal you, will you still believe in the Gospel? If God doesn't heal, is that still God?
Today, we are preaching the Gospel of peace, not bad news. Everyone should know that entering this Gospel is not about being cursed or incurring disasters, but a blessed good news. If I tell you today that if you believe in the Gospel, your finances will be healthy and your body will be healthy, you will say: Oh, he is preaching the prosperity gospel. Then do you want to preach a failure gospel? I don't think the failure gospel is good. I think financial health is very good, my body is also very good, and I can still bless many people. If you can't even handle a small cold, do you think that is still the Gospel?
For example, a few days ago, one of our sisters, who was in her sixties, had food poisoning. Many were already trying to rescue her, but we prayed and she was healed. Her temperature rose to 41 degrees Celsius, and the thermometer hit the top. I was also worried, but I believed that my God is a good God, and the gospel I believe in is a healing gospel.
We must know that the gospel Jesus preached is that the blind see, the lame walk, lepers are cleansed, and the dead are raised. When John the Baptist sent people to ask Jesus, Are you the Messiah we are waiting for? Jesus did not say whether he was the Messiah. What did Jesus say?
Jesus answered and said to them, “Go and tell John the things you have seen and heard: that the blind see, the lame walk, the lepers are cleansed, the deaf hear, the dead are raised, the poor have the gospel preached to them. (Luke 7:22)
Today, we are going to rebuild the kingdom of God, preaching the gospel that will ruin the works of the devil, and preach a good message, if we drink any deadly thing, it will not hurt us; and whatever kind of disease, prayer will certainly be good .
I prayed for an old man, who was over seventy years old, whose eyes were not very good and whose head was a little dizzy. After I prayed for her, a voice in me said: Sister, I have a sense that in the future you will encounter people with eye problems, dizziness, and vertigo, and your prayer will make a great difference, because you have overcome this ghost, and this ghost has become your subordinate. This is good news!
For example, some people preach the gospel: Oh, you and I should bear this cross! Then people hear the gospel, what is this? My schoolbag is heavy enough, my work briefcase and computer bag are heavy enough, and I don't have anything better to do, just another cross? Am I too tired ? In fact, we spread the wrong gospel to be cursed.
Today brothers and sisters, what exactly is the gospel? I tell you it’s let the captives be released, and have the oppressed set free. Because the church is God’s army, the church is God’s victorious army, which can let the captives be released and the oppressed be liberated. Today, our struggle is not with flesh and blood, but with that in the air. We are fighting against the rulers and authorities, against the powers of this dark world and against the spiritual forces of evil. All those who bring corruption among us are the objects of our struggle, and we must trample on the devil’s enemies.
A young man in his 90s worked two jobs and it was very hard. His boss was among us. Why did this young man do two jobs? The ghost has done many supernatural events in his family, and his father died inexplicably, which in itself is a spiritual matter. His grandmother was paralyzed, his mother was cheated of a lot of money, and then owed a lot of debts, so he had to work here and had to drive a taxi at night. It was hard work.
Can he solve the problem by being so busy? No, only the gospel can solve his problem. Because our God wants to set the captives free and let the oppressed be liberated. Because from now on, the devil will be trampled under his feet, and God will release him from the hands of the devil, which is the key to solving his problem.
Today, the gospel we believe is the gospel that solves people’s problems and is good news. So be careful, never preach the wrong gospel, preaching the wrong gospel is cursed.
How can an undefeated Christian turn defeat into victory
I’ll skip the next two sets of military uniforms, the breastplate of righteousness and the shield of faith, and I’ll add to them when answering questions. I’ll talk about the last point: How can the undefeated be victorious? You say: I'm suppressed by the devil, I'm an undefeated Christian, I'm in the undefeated church, I'm miserable, and I'm suffering a lot. Can I join your Chinese Mingding Destiny? Of course. But this is not the best choice because the best choice is that you start to stand up and deal with the devil and enemies.
If I can wake up under the pressure of the devil and start climbing the mountain of Jehovah and entering the temple of the God of Jacob, so can you today. You can also build a glorious church of God, and you can also build a victorious army of Jesus Christ.
An ancient Chinese saying goes, The world has suffered from tyranny for a long time. This means that Emperor Qin Shihuang oppressed the common people, made them do hard labor, and the people had been complaining and suffering for a long time. Today, we will start stand up, not to deal with Qin Shihuang, but to deal with the demons in the air who rule this dark world, to start stand up and revolt against the devil, and not allow it to continue to do whatever it wants on us.
Climb this holy mountain of truth, and no longer fight in this battlefield of the knowledge of good and evil, but on the holy mountain of God. When you climb to a very high place, once you shoot an arrow, you are launching a missile, an intercontinental missile! You have the most advanced weapon in your hand, and once you launch it, it will hit the devil's headquarters, which will be a nuclear warhead.
It doesn’t matter if you are undefeated, the key is to win in the future. I pray that God will raise up one thousand and one thousand victorious churches like Chinese Mingding Destiny which victorious people in this generation raise up the victorious people to establish the kingdom of God and raise up the victorious pastors. But I want to tell you: What God has done in us, He can certainly do in you. Start climbing this spiritual peak today until you enter the temple of God. God has accomplished salvation in us, God has predestined us with victory, as long as we are willing to stand up and fight, God has predestined us with victory, what good news is this!
Summary
Make a choice today and choose to be a valiant soldier in Jesus Christ. What a grace and what a glory it is to being a elite soldier in the victorious church. We will plunder the enemy, release God's people, and bear such a destiny. In this generation, God will greatly raise us up and make us a shining people. In this generation, God will manifest His glory through us; in this generation, people will see the glory of God through us! God's light will shine on us, what good news is this, this promise is for you and me. Amen!
May God bless everyone!
