【Bible Study】Micah Chapter 06 - That You May Know the Righteous Acts of the Lord

2025-01-24 1,026 Micah

Introduction

The Book of Micah is known as one of the Minor Prophets, but it is by no means minor. According to what is written in the Book of Micah, it holds an extremely important position among the prophetic books. I will share briefly on how to study the Bible. I also find Bible study strenuous; it’s definitely not something I can just come up with off the top of my head and then share with everyone. I put in quite a bit of effort. To get things clear, it's not a simple task.

The theme of the previous chapter was The Coming and Actions of Israel's Rulers. The theme of this chapter is That You May Know the Righteous Acts of the Lord. I find this theme particularly good, and I spent a lot of effort to find such a statement. Don't assume that you can know everything off the top of your head, and then feel, Wow, that's great! The Spirit of God moved me, and I knew it right away.

What does God want to train in people? To train people's faith. What kind of faith is it? Persistence and seeking. God does not want people to develop the bad habit of acting rashly. Can you slap your backside, you ask? You can slap your backside and leave, but you can’t get anything out of slapping your backside.

The Confusion of the Israelites

Why were the Israelites confused? Because they kept asking God, Why? Why is this happening? Why did this happen to us? We were doing well! The Israelites always thought they were doing well.

If you observe carefully, you will find that today's Christians are not much different from the Israelites back then. I say, You are foolish. You say, I am not foolish. I say, You are stupid. You say, I am not stupid. I say, You are discerning good and evil. You say, I am not. You will find that the Israelites are not much different from us. Looking at what Christians are experiencing now, you can roughly understand what the Israelites experienced back then.

I ask you, is it a good thing or a bad thing for a Christian to get cancer? Why haven't I discovered Abraham getting cancer? Isaac, Jacob, and David didn't get cancer either. Cancer is not a good disease. When I was studying Deuteronomy, it said, If you do not carefully observe all His commandments...the Lord will strike you with all the diseases of Egypt. It is stated so clearly.

Until now, the people I serve, especially those who have been Christians for many years, not to mention pastors, would beat you if you told them this. I've become shrewd now, because if they don't want to solve their own problems, how can I solve them?

The Israelites were very confused. As soon as the prophet opened his mouth, he said unpleasant things: You will be taken captive, and your enemies will rise up. In Judges, it was even more outrageous: sometimes the Philistines would rise up, sometimes the Midianites would rise up, and they would always bully the Israelites. Wouldn't you say the Israelites were confused? Is this our promised land? Is this the promised land that God led us to?

Christians say, Oh, how can this not align? My God is a God who answers prayers, but why doesn't God listen to my prayers? The unpleasant things the prophets said are too different from our understanding. As you ponder it slowly, you will find that people are very stiff-necked. Why? Because people do not know the righteous acts of God.

I have a very classic saying, but it is difficult for people to understand without wisdom: No matter what happens to me, I will say, God will not make a mistake, the devil will not make a mistake; the one who makes the mistake is myself. I only have a portion of repentance. These people are very tired of God. Oh, God, why is it so troublesome? Oh, my goodness, if you believe like this, how can you live?

Look at others who believe and it’s not so troublesome. Look at how powerful the Philistines, Assyrians, and Babylonians are! How come they’re doing so well? Why is it not working for me? Very confused. They are always handed over to the Midianites, Philistines, and Ammonites. We are bullied all day long. You say, God, why did you let this happen to me? Are you blind?

Did I hit a nerve with everyone? Oh my goodness, this phenomenon is extremely common from pastors to Christians, and it was very common among the Israelites from ancient times as well. When the prophet Micah wrote the sixth chapter of the Book of Micah, God began to speak through Micah. Let's discuss why this is happening. Do you think you're doing everything right? You're too self-righteous, the Israelites offered cattle and sheep, sacrifices very well, but they still did not know the righteous acts of God.

If you want to live well, you must know the righteous acts of the Lord God. If you do not know the righteous acts of the Lord God, you do not know God, and if you do not know Him, you do not fear Him. I tell you, if you do not fear God, something will definitely happen to you, without even thinking about it. God, are you saving us or harming us?

Don't think that my shepherding is very gentle. My shepherding is cutting to the bone, and I will never show mercy when dealing with people's foolishness. Our colleagues among us said, Teacher, I am very confused. You love me so much, but you also humiliate me and deal with me. Oh, do you love me or not? Oh my goodness, their minds are just ringing. If you say you don't love me, you do these things to me. If you say you love me, you treat me like this, it's too painful, and my mind is in chaos.

The Israelites were in this state. Is God harming them or saving them? They did not know the righteous acts of God, Why? God wanted them to experience God's promise, and no one who relied on God's promise lived poorly. Oh, I tell you, there's a lot of confusion just about the matter of sacrifice.

Someone who is sick comes into this group and says, Pray for me. We pray for you, may the Lord heal you. People have their own logic, saying in the group, Pastor, can you have the whole church pray for me? What kind of logic is this? Do you think that if you stir up the whole country to pray together, something will happen? Knowing the acts of God is useless.

When I encounter this kind of thing, seeing that the situation is not good, should I tell the truth or tell a lie? I say, Our whole church will pray for you, but then I turn around and say, Forget it. Don't be offended by what I say, there's nothing like this in the Bible. One moment, they're doing some kind of inner life – not that inner life is bad, but you understand that thing wrong, you understand it according to your own understanding.

The confusion of the Israelites is all in one word: self-righteousness. What everyone thinks is right is not necessarily right. If you do not know the acts of God, it is useless even if everyone on earth prays for you. It's better not to pray; the more you pray, the more God's righteousness is revealed. If you don't know, isn't that troublesome? If God is too lazy to pay attention to us, He will completely abandon us, but God is unwilling to give up, so God will contend with His people.

God Will Contend with His People

Hear what the Lord says: “Stand up, plead your case before the mountains, and let the hills hear what you have to say. Hear, you mountains, the Lord’s accusation, you everlasting foundations of the earth; for the Lord has a case against his people; he is pleading his case against Israel. “My people, what have I done to you? How have I burdened you? Answer me! (Micah 6:1-3)

Why does God make His people tired? Because what God wants is righteousness, but people practice evil. Sometimes the people I shepherd argue with me. I say, What did I say that you treat me like this? Am I not helping you? This sentence comes from Micah chapter 6. They say, You despise me, you look down on me? Oh my goodness, people who are not using their brains well will translate these things like this.

But I am quite interesting; I like to say things specifically. I don't say things based on feelings. I say, What did I say? I didn’t say anything. He says you didn’t say it today, what did you say last week? He thought and said he didn’t say anything either. See, aren’t people’s feelings deceived by their own lies? I said, “What did I say this past month?” He said, “You said I was wrong about that matter.” I said, You indeed did something wrong, am I wrong? You did such a stupid thing and you don't allow people to say it. Don't you think people are interesting?

Later, he shared with me, Teacher, how come every time I freak out and act silly, I can't win an argument with you? How come you're always right? Isn't it because I'm always right? What has God done to the Israelites? Hasn’t God brought them out of the house of slavery in Egypt? Has God taken a single penny of advantage from them? No, did the Israelites first give God something, and then God brought them out of Egypt? Or did God see that they were too suffering and wanted to bring them out? As a result, He brought out a bunch of fools

They can never figure out the situation. Oh, God brought us out of Egypt to kill us. Don't we have graves in Egypt? Oh my goodness, I tell you I am convinced, I really want to surrender. How can people be so foolish? The Israelites followed Moses out of Egypt and plundered the wealth of the Egyptians.

What did God want from them? He wanted them to be free, to enter the promised land. The words promised to Abraham were all fulfilled on them. How did people suddenly get confused? When people are confused, they feel especially right. Once people feel especially right, they are basically living in the deception and lies of the devil. What has God done that makes you weary?

I brought you up out of Egypt, I redeemed you from the land of slavery; I sent Moses, Aaron and Miriam to lead you. My people, remember what Balak king of Moab plotted and what Balaam son of Beor answered. Remember your journey from Shittim to Gilgal, that you may know the righteous acts of the Lord. (Micah 6:4-5)

The story of Balaam is very interesting. Balaam was a prophet of the Lord God, and he said whatever God told him to say. Balak wanted to curse the Israelites, thinking that it would be easy to handle with a curse in the spiritual realm. You must know that curses are very powerful. Balak thought that after the curse, the Israelites would be finished, unlucky, and would die out on their own. What happened as a result? Balaam could not curse after he finished speaking.

The Bible says that whoever curses Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob, God will curse him, so he could not curse them. If you carefully think about it, God will curse those who curse Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob, and God will bless those who bless Abraham. This thing is too divine.

Later, Balaam gave Balak a trick. What kind of trick did he give him? How could the Israelites be cursed? Entice them to sin. As a result, the Israelites got together with the women of Midian. This trick was too bad. So, the devil wants to corrupt a person by enticing him to sin, and God curses him, and the curse comes upon him.

It is not that a prophet wants to curse the Israelites and can curse them, nor is it that a King Balak wants to curse the Israelites and can curse them. But if the Israelites, God's people, do what is evil in God's eyes, the curse will come. Isn't that amazing? Brothers and sisters, we must know for sure that if you do not know the righteous acts of God, then you are in trouble.

Then you slowly invite sin, cerebral infarction, brain tumor, ankylosing spondylitis, rheumatoid arthritis, can't poop, can't pee, can't sleep, these will all come. After they come, you are still very surprised. Ah? How can I love God, I love God so much! How can this happen to me? How do you love God?

I tell you, this kind of thing is very strange. Sometimes we serve people and feel very surprised, but it's not good to say it. What am I going to argue with people about? Just love them well, even if it means loving them into a curse.

There was one person, oh, with all kinds of disasters on his body. I said, That's not from God. He said, Where is it from? Teacher, don't you know? I am the same as you. Oh, you are the same as me, I don't want to be the same as you. You are the same as me, I have seen through it since I was a child. Then let's try it. As soon as I tried it, wow, his face immediately changed. It fulfilled that sentence, Why are you angry? Why do you have a dark countenance? If you do what is right, will you not be accepted?

Many people live in confusion, but there is one thing you don't need to be confused about, that is, you don't need to be confused about the things that happen to you at all, it is clear evidence. There are two things about a person that can show his spiritual state: the first is poverty, and the second is disease.

Poverty is not good, and disease is not good either. What is good? God's promise is good. I hope that God's promises will be fulfilled on our brothers and sisters, and I also hope that our brothers and sisters will prosper, and I hope even more that our brothers and sisters will know the righteous acts of the Lord.

In this world, if you close your eyes and grab someone, you will find a group of self-righteous people who all think they are good. But if we are really going to challenge them, do you really know? If you knew, you would have feared God long ago.

One sister said to me, Teacher, I think I am pretty good. Then my temper came up a bit at that time. I get easily upset with these foolish words. The brain and the crown of the head rushed up all at once, more invigorating than drinking a glass of Erguotou. I said, Who have you served in the past year? No one. Who have you blessed in the past year? No one. Then why do you think you are good? Teacher, look, I have prayer and Bible study. Is prayer and Bible study great?

I often say, Do you think you are great? You have done so little and you think you are great? Are you about to become a great leader? Oh, I tell you, if you are really great, may the promises God gave to Abraham be fulfilled on you. Abraham and his family kept the way of God, practiced righteousness, and the promises God gave to Abraham were all fulfilled on us. Have they all been fulfilled on us?

That We May Know the Righteous Acts of the Lord

Then the men set out from there and looked down toward Sodom, and Abraham walked along with them to see them on their way. Then the Lord said, “Shall I hide from Abraham what I am about to do? Abraham will surely become a great and powerful nation, and all nations on earth will be blessed through him. For I have chosen him, so that he will direct his children and his household after him to keep the way of the Lord by doing what is right and just, so that the Lord will bring about for Abraham what he has promised.” (Genesis 18:16-19)

From Abraham onwards, there has been this sentence: that Abraham's descendants may be able to carefully observe His way, practice righteousness, and that the promises God made to Abraham may be fulfilled on us. Do you want it? Someone will say, Teacher, isn't this nonsense? I dream about it all the time. But do you know the righteous acts of God? Do you know what God wants from you? To act justly, to love mercy, and to walk humbly with your God. This is what God wants.

In this land, close your eyes and grab one, and you'll find a group of self-righteous people who all think they are good. But if we are really going to challenge them, do you really know? If you knew, you would have feared God long ago.

One sister said to me, Teacher, I think I am pretty good. Then my temper came up a bit at that time. I get easily upset with these foolish words. All of that just rushes to my head right away, more invigorating than drinking a glass of Erguotou.

Many say I should shepherd, I give them the shepherding, then they spout nonsense without correction, their heads filled with filth. We must know if God's promises are not fulfilled in us, say nothing more. Don't let me argue with you again. Alas, God won't argue with you either, understand? Do you truly know the righteous acts of God? God does not make mistakes.

Let me repeat my logic: God does not make mistakes, the devil does not make mistakes, the ones who make mistakes are you and I. It's quite poignant, sometimes we must repent. Look at this mouth of mine, a preacher, speaking such words all day long, and after I finish, I must quickly repent. Saying others have shit in their heads all day, what about the shit in my own head? Alas, God have mercy on me, mustn't He? Do you think I am a saint?

I have one aspiration in this life, to keep the Dao, to fight the battles that must be fought, to finish the path that must be walked, and then have a crown of righteousness reserved for me. Perhaps this is a bit presumptuous, this is my hope. I don't know if I can attain it, but I eagerly hope to attain it, I earnestly desire to do what is right in God's eyes.

Our brothers and sisters really need to adjust. There is a group in the church called the intercessory prayer team. I have seen it, and I find their prayers very interesting: God, let my pastor be this kind of pastor. Doesn't that sound off to me? Among us, I wouldn't establish an intercessory prayer team. You say, Teacher, I will intercede for you. I think you should pray for yourself instead. How did this intercessory prayer team gather a bunch of self-righteous people?

A young man came to me, and before he came to my office, he was contemplating jumping off a building. I ministered to him, and after freeing him from this bondage, he walked into my office and said, Teacher, you should be a pastor like this. Good heavens, if an intercessory prayer team were to arise, he would definitely be a member. Always wanting to change me through prayer, always wanting to change the pastor through prayer, don't you think that's wicked? Maybe you don't understand, but it doesn't matter. I encourage you to know the righteous acts of Jehovah.

When we read the Bible, don't always think about changing others, it's best to change ourselves. We discipline our bodies and make them our slaves. We read God's words for ourselves. I often see Christian couples arguing, reading the Bible to their partners. The woman says, A husband should love his wife, and the husband says, A wife should submit to her husband. Alas, this dialogue is like a comedy act, they end up tearing each other apart.

Keep and observe His Dao, and the promises God gave to Abraham will be fulfilled in us, Amen. Do justice, love mercy, walk humbly with your God. Thank God for allowing me to abundantly receive God's promises while still alive, the promises God gave to Abraham, to the people of Israel, in Jesus Christ, every one of them will be fulfilled in us. Do you want them to be fulfilled? If you do, emulate Abraham.

God's People Thought God Wanted Sacrifices

God's people thought God wanted sacrifices. Good heavens, if prayer doesn't work, add more. If one hour isn't enough, then two hours, if two hours isn't enough, then three hours. Alas, the pastor once said, If this demon can't be driven out in one hour, it probably needs three hours of prayer, and if three hours doesn't work, then eight hours. But the problem is, after praying for years, it still doesn't work. What exactly happened?

We recently ministered to a couple whose second child had autism and had also undergone a bone marrow transplant. After going through all that, they came to us. They had been listening to our teachings online for quite some time, and then a colleague asked me, Teacher, how should we minister? I said, First, the child's problem should be related to his mother. Sure enough, I guessed correctly. Later, my colleague communicated with the couple, and alas, there were quite a few melodramatic stories.

They prayed for seven hours every day, but it was useless. I often explore this stuff. I said, Second, the demon should be dwelling in a certain acupoint in the child's body. Find it on him, with his parents, and his parents must repent. Don't think that sacrifices and prayers can solve the problem. You must repent, you must do what is right in God's eyes, you must know that what Jehovah God requires of us is justice, love for mercy, and we must know the righteous acts of Jehovah God. God will absolutely not make mistakes, the ones who make mistakes are us.

First, repent, second, find that acupoint. As a result, after searching all over his body, wow, it really was there. It hurt terribly with even a slight touch, the demon was dwelling there. Traditional healing and deliverance doesn't pay attention to this stuff. Laying hands on the patient and the patient gets better, but you have to press the right spot. Many people think laying hands on the head is how it's done? No, there are those who press on the tongue, some on the eyes, pressing on all sorts of places. God doesn't want sacrifices, but the Israelites thought sacrifices were useful.

With what shall I come before the LORD, and bow myself before the high God? Shall I come before Him with burnt offerings, with calves a year old? Will the LORD be pleased with thousands of rams, or with ten thousands of rivers of oil? Shall I give my firstborn for my transgression, the fruit of my body for the sin of my soul? (Micah 6:6-7)

Confused, aren't you? If offering one sheep doesn't work, then offer two, if two doesn't work, then ten, if ten doesn't work, then a hundred, and then thousands, offer all the sheep and it still doesn't work. If that doesn't work, then offer my son, offer my firstborn to God, but the firstborn is unwilling. He thinks he is Abraham, and his son is Isaac, and he wants to offer his son, but his son holds him down. Shall I give the fruit of my body for the sin of my soul? If the eldest son isn't willing, then the second son, if the second isn't willing, then the third. I just don't understand, what does God want with that stuff?

Don't play this kind of game of making vows to God. What are you offering to God? You don't know the righteous acts of God, you don't know what God requires of us, and your faith is in vain. Prayers are offered by the basketful, by the trainload, and they are not answered. Present yourselves as a living sacrifice, so that we who live should no longer live for ourselves, but for Jesus Christ who lives in us.

Alas, adding more doesn't work. Our brothers and sisters, let's start adjusting. If we think we love God very much, then you probably don't love God. If you think you don't love God enough, then that's more like it. If a person thinks they are good, then it's bad, if they think they are a sinner who needs to constantly deal with their sins, then that's right. Why doesn't God listen to people's prayers? Because people don't know the righteous acts of Jehovah.

If we judge according to people's experiences, we'll be right every time. He says, Teacher, that's not right, I am Job. Oh my heavens, another hand slaps the forehead, another Job has appeared. Then why don't you write a Book of Job? He didn't understand the Book of Job, why didn't he understand? Because Job repented later. Job initially thought he was Job, but later he felt that he had heard of God by the hearing of the ear, but now his eye sees God. They do not know the just acts of God, understand?

God does not want sacrifices, does not want offerings, God wants you to do justice, love mercy, walk humbly with your God. I think that's so good, alas, my heart is full of emotion. After I finish speaking, people say, Why do you always criticize people? What do you want me to do? It's difficult. If I don't speak, you won't learn anything, if I speak, people say I am always judging people.

I have ministered to pastors who had brain cancer. They said, What you say is all wicked, we serve God very diligently, I only rest one day a week, that's why I got a brain tumor. Look at this logic, it sounds a bit off to me. Isn't resting one day a week enough? Pastors actually don't do much, many of the things they should do, they haven't done.

I once knew a pastor, and his younger brother said to me, I really envy my brother. I said, What do you envy about your brother? My brother's profession is good, he only works two hours a week. Do you understand? He only works on Sundays, and he hasn't even done that well. Oh my heavens, do you understand now?

Sometimes I say, alas, our research institutions haven't thoroughly studied many problems, how to deal with autism? How to deal with children's learning problems? Some people have a kind of wickedness in them, an uncontrollable wickedness, that wickedness rises up as soon as you try to deal with it. Why does it pain my heart so much? Alas, I don't know what to do, my tears are about to flow.

A few days ago, a colleague asked me, Teacher, we have a sister with such a problem. I felt like crying, alas, how much I long to be like Jesus, if I could just pinch you, it would be fine, how much I long for that. But it's not possible yet, this is a beautiful hope. We are a research institution, we need to study many problems, many brothers and sisters need deliverance. Although we have already researched a lot, it is still far from enough.

We are a training institution, the development of training content is like a huge mountain in front of me. I wish my colleagues could all rise up and develop content with me, is this how you shepherd? How to solve these kinds of problems? Can there be shepherding case studies? Alas, just relying on my little brain, alas, let's slowly work on it. Thank God, what our God requires of us is to do justice, to love mercy, to walk humbly with your God.

That wickedness is like a headache coming on, can you understand? Those who have these bad habits can understand my feelings. When I say this, my tears are about to fall. He said, Teacher, you understand me so well, I really understand. Isn't it just like a headache coming on? Do you like headaches? No, isn't that wickedness just the same?

What God Requires of Us

What God requires of us is to do justice, love mercy, walk humbly with your God. You must know that God is powerful, you must know what God wants. A pastor, a minister who serves God, if he doesn't know what God wants, isn't that a tragedy? I have a little bit of cleverness, I say, I can't beat God either. With my stinky dogshit, without my stinky dogshit, God's justice and mercy will still be carried out.

What I do doesn't matter, but I must know, besides relying on God and looking to God, what else can I do? I can't do anything. I know that trusting in God can bless more people, trusting in God can deliver more people. Brothers and sisters, don't worry, give me some time, God will surely reveal to me and let me know how to solve those difficulties you encounter.

People must constantly seek and yearn, to know more, to know the knowledge of God like the sea fills the ocean, to be able to solve our problems. Now we only have a ladle of water in our hands, but like the sea filling the ocean, that is just an attitude. I am constantly searching in this ocean, searching for what? How to solve the problems our brothers and sisters face. I know I can't, but my God surely can. Someday we will find it. May the Spirit of God guide us to constantly know God.

Chinese Mingding Destiny has a logic called problem solving, constantly solving problems. Over the past few years, I have grown a lot, and I can now solve many more problems than I could ten years ago. Those that couldn't be solved ten years ago, I can now knock out as soon as they come up, but there are still many problems now.

People with Wisdom Know to Fear the Name of God

God's judgment of people is very severe. Many of our problems are sown by ourselves. The voice of the LORD cries to the city—and it is sound wisdom to fear your name: ‘Hear of the rod and of who has appointed it!’ Who determines the punishment of the rod? It is God, but people don't know. The people of this world all live in the logic system of Omri and Ahab. Omri was the king who usurped the throne of Israel, and it was later passed on to Ahab. Their family was very good at doing business, making money, and also very good at seizing people's things, fabricating some unwarranted charges, and were very powerful.

“Can I acquit anyone with dishonest scales, with a bag of false weights? Her rich are full of violence; her inhabitants speak lies, with tongues of deceit in their mouths. (Micah 6:10-12)

What's the use of your sacrifices? You obtained these unrighteous gains, violating heaven and harming reason, using false weights, false scales, false measures, and then what's the meaning of you doing charity? The tongues in the mouths of the city's inhabitants are also deceitful, why? Don't think that ordinary people are good people, ordinary people see this and think, alas, we must not provoke him, otherwise he will mess with you, so the city is full of violence.

In those days, there were many real estate developers who acquired land and houses, and when negotiating prices, they would drive the prices very low. If people didn't accept, they would forcibly demolish them. In those days, did you think it was easy to mess with the rich? It wasn't easy to do, and they were also pitiful, so God struck these people. You must fear, you can't not fear. If you look closely, there are too many things God strikes people for. You say, They don't believe in the Lord, He still manages those who don't believe, and He definitely manages those who believe.

The Israelites thought that offering some sacrifices would be okay, but it's not. You must fear God. God's strikes are very heavy. The Israelites were very confused, Why are you striking me? That person did more bad things than me, but he's okay. You're in the front of the line, and God won't let him off either. If you carefully observe the things of this world, there is a mighty arm in the darkness that enforces justice.

Don't think that there is no God in this world. God will surely do justice and love mercy, it's just that you haven't reached the peak of your evil, and God is letting you go. It's pitiful for people not to fear God. You make money and then what? You eat but you're not satisfied, your weakness will be evident among you. You eat a lot, but your body is very weak, isn't that strange? You supplement your body and end up with many problems, and you will find that sword, violent things will come upon these people.

“You shall eat, but not be satisfied; and there shall be emptiness within you. You shall put away, but you shall not save, and what you save I will give to the sword. You shall sow, but not reap; you shall tread olives, but not anoint yourselves with oil; you shall tread grapes, but not drink wine. For you have kept the statutes of Omri and all the works of the house of Ahab; and you have walked in their counsels, that I may make you a desolation, and your inhabitants a hissing; so you shall bear the scorn of my people.” (Micah 6:14-16)

My life is simple but satisfying. I often have a happy hour, simple peanuts, open a can, I just eat it without checking if its past the due date. Discuss some of the sermons I will preach on the Sabbath. I'll offer a story, you give me a story, happy hour, simple but enjoyable.

But those who don't fear God eat but are not satisfied, and their bodies are weak, with many uncomfortable illnesses. What is the benefit of living a thousand years without joy? What you get is shame, what you get is hissing, what you get is desolation. If you don't fear God, who will you turn to when you get desolation?

God wants to bless those who fear His name, let us be such people. It doesn't matter what kind of person I was born into, what matters is what kind of person I want to be. Let our brothers and sisters think about it, see if we also eat but are not satisfied. Some people's stomachs are like stones after eating, too full is also uncomfortable, not eating makes them hungry, eating makes their stomachs like stones, isn't that a problem.

Do You Still Want to Argue with God?

Do you still want to argue with God? Arguing and proving will not help, it won't solve the problem. What can solve the problem is that you must observe, you must learn, you must see clearly the righteous acts of God. No more arguing, because we are not qualified to argue, there is no way to say: God, why do you want to do this? God says: I just want to do this.

Like me, after thinking it through, after I became a preacher, I knew I couldn't win against God in an arm wrestle. I can't even budge Your little finger with my whole hand, I submit. I am not qualified to argue with God, because I am just a person, I can't control anything, I can only control one thing, which is to know the righteous acts of Jehovah.

I said: God, I want to be a smart person, I don't want to be a fool, I just want to be a smart person, I just want to emulate Jesus Christ, why? Because I hope that those promises You made to Abraham will also be fulfilled in me, that would be great, thank God.

Someone asked me: Why are you so satisfied eating only one meal a day? Don't you know I also have snacks? Don't be rigid. Eating only one meal a day is very hungry, so eat chocolate. Don't let me trick you with this one-meal-a-day thing. Two meals a day is also fine, of course, not to the point of fainting from hunger, just happily work. So, let's not be silly, be smart. One meal or two meals is not important, what's important is to know the righteous acts of Jehovah.

May God bless everyone.
