Introduction

Good morning. Let us turn to 1 Samuel, chapter 7. I have observed that all of you are becoming increasingly astute, more adept at grasping the central themes, and more capable of understanding the author's intent. In fact, Chinese Mingding Destiny conveys a very simple message: to grasp the author's intended message. It becomes problematic if one grasps something other than what the author intends, instead projecting one's own desires. If you are a carpenter, you must adhere to the rules of carpentry; if you are writing code, you must think in terms of programming logic. Whatever you do, you must find the essence of the matter.

What exactly is 1 Samuel, chapter 7, about? It is essentially about how the Lord has helped us to this day. Some have mentioned that my chosen title is the same as theirs. Even if you choose a different title, that is perfectly fine; proactive thinking is always a positive thing. How do you know if you have identified the correct theme? If you can weave the entire passage together, highlighting a central theme, then that theme is precisely what the writer of the Bible intends to convey to us.

Does everyone know how to write an essay? Perhaps you have never written an article in your life, and you simply write whatever comes to mind. For example, you may notice that some people can chat incessantly for an hour. But when you ask them to speak on a stage, they become deflated like a瘪茄子 (biě qié zi, literally wilted eggplant). Do you know what 瘪茄子 means? It means completely deflated. I wonder why this happens? It is because they are capable of speaking extemporaneously. However, if you ask them to first conceptualize, clarify the central theme, and then articulate it clearly, they are unable to do so. Why is this? It is because they lack practice in writing.

The writers of the Bible never write haphazardly; they always emphasize a central theme. What theme does the author intend to emphasize in 1 Samuel, chapter 7? Thus far the Lord has helped us. Consider this: the Ark of the Covenant was captured by the enemy, and then it was returned. As a result, seventy men of Beth Shemesh were struck down. How can one live in such circumstances? To this day, considerable confusion persists in the church and among Christians. What is this confusion? Whether God truly helps us or not. This confusion is largely resolved in Chinese Mingding Destiny.

By the time of Samuel, after twenty years, he finally summarized this conclusion. Samuel witnessed these events occurring during his time with the elder Eli. Then the Ark of the Covenant remained in the house of Abinadab for twenty years. What does this signify? The whole house of Israel longed after the Lord. What did Samuel do during these twenty years? Surely, you must be perplexed. Samuel witnessed people going their own way, acting arbitrarily, and consequently being severely oppressed by the Philistines. Not only severely oppressed, but also afflicted by various diseases among the Israelites. Some children were unable to defecate, others suffered from depression, and some women experienced postpartum depression after childbirth. Everywhere, there was an atmosphere of confusion and despair. People desired to live well, yet they could not; they desired to live a good life, yet they could not; they desired to get their lives in order, yet they could not. Even those who did achieve some success were soon struck by calamity.

If one does not carefully observe, study, and seek throughout one's life, it will be a tragedy! During those twenty years, did you think the Israelites regarded Samuel as their leader? Not at all. They considered his words to be useless. They were indifferent to him, thinking, Get out of here! Don't bother me! I don't have time for you; I have cattle to feed and land to cultivate. I don't have time to argue with you! Samuel's earnestness was often met with cold indifference. What was the result? After twenty years of suffering, the Israelites finally turned to God.

Therefore, Samuel's understanding of God from his youth, throughout his adulthood, and even after the death of Eli's entire family, and the placement of the Ark of the Covenant in the house of Abinadab, remained consistent when the Israelites turned to God after twenty years. He always believed that it was God's help. Later, he concluded that people's perception of God differs when they have faith in Him versus when they lack faith. Thus far the Lord has helped us; God paved the way for Samuel, and ultimately Samuel became the greatest leader of Israel. Samuel said, God has helped us to this day; this is a very good statement. Regardless of what you have experienced today, can you embrace Samuel's statement? If you can embrace Samuel's statement, I believe you are truly blessed.

I tell you all, the journey that Chinese Mingding Destiny has taken is the best summary of this very statement: Thus far the Lord has helped us, and to this day, God remains potent. Do you all know that God is more potent in our midst than elsewhere? Why? Because in this place, God continues to help us. To this day, many places are seeking God, and many people are filled with confusion, just like the Israelites during those twenty years.

Thus Far the Lord Has Helped Us During These Twenty Years

Many things happened during these twenty years. Did you think that the Israelites were living a prosperous, smooth, and fulfilling life, getting whatever they wanted? Did they occasionally buy plane tickets to Philistia or Egypt for a vacation? Did life appear to be thriving? Absolutely not! Life without God is exceedingly arduous. During these twenty years, God prepared a multitude of sins for them to suffer. They barely managed to grow crops, only to have them plundered by the Philistines. They painstakingly cultivated the land, only to have it seized by the Philistines. After experiencing these hardships, the Israelites became disheartened. Even a quarrel with a neighbor could result in someone's death. They truly endured immense suffering.

If you are currently experiencing suffering, I can tell you that the Lord is helping you. Why? Because people must recognize that they have strayed from the path, having all followed the path of the elder Eli. Although they are God's people, they do not regard God as God; although they are chosen by God, they do not wish to walk the path of blessing; although they have God, they live as if they are without God; although they have the Lord, it is as if they have no Lord; each person goes his own way. Later, in the Book of Judges, there was no king in Israel, and everyone did what was right in his own eyes.

God does not easily abandon His people; in fact, God never abandons His people. He has chosen you and waits for you to turn back to Him daily. Today, if you encounter some unfortunate events, know that God is calling you, God is helping you, God wants you to know the truth, and He wants you to know that being alive is a spiritual matter. If you cannot overcome the devil, the devil will come and attack you. If the devil does not attack you, God will send a few demons to harass you, continuously driving you towards God's kingdom. God's intentions are truly profound and benevolent!

We have a sister in the United States who went from church to church with her husband, but they felt that none of them were suitable. Why? Because the questions they asked the pastors left them speechless, and they felt that the pastors were talking nonsense, so they were dissatisfied. As a result, this sister went everywhere seeking, and finally found us online. After coming to us, she asked some rather inappropriate questions. Her pastor then told me that the questions she asked seemed to be confrontational. Actually, she was not trying to be confrontational; she was seeking. Because people experience many things in the world, and their minds are filled with confusion, which is actually very exhausting!

I encourage our pastors to be tolerant of these people. It is good that they have a spirit of seeking, and it is normal to have confusion within them. I tell you all that people who come among us can basically resolve these confusions. Because I used to have the same confusion as them, and I have climbed out of that path, so I fully understand the confusion they are currently experiencing. Therefore, when our pastors receive people, give them an opportunity; God is helping them. She asked the pastor some strange questions, and the pastor could not handle it, so he kicked her out. After being kicked out, she continued to listen. I also thank God that God has helped her to this day, and I believe that God will also help her husband to this day.

Those who seek will surely find. Later, she came back and grew better and better. I thank God that although we did the wrong thing and kicked her out, God does not make mistakes, and God helps us to this day. Today, we can resolve many confusions. Chinese Mingding Destiny specializes in resolving confusions. Chinese Mingding Destiny often says, I haven't figured it out yet, and we may not figure it out correctly. This statement is correct. Do not think that we are the truth; that is not the case. Give people an opportunity to seek, and God will help them. Later, someone from Australia came, and his speech was also rather inappropriate. After two or three years of adjustment, he is now becoming increasingly clear, which is God helping him! Later, I also summarized this statement: Thus far God has helped us.

To this day, brothers and sisters must know for certain that Chinese Mingding Destiny is nurtured by God, nourished by heaven, and the financial difficulties are becoming less and less. Why? Because God has helped us to this day. Whether you cannot defecate or cannot control yourself, do not be afraid, because our God is a God who helps us. Tell yourself that my God is a God who helps me, and I must repent. The most precious thing you must inherit is: I messed up, and we didn't do it right. God has helped us to this day. During these twenty years, the Israelites experienced too many things. Sometimes they even cried out to God: God, where have you gone? Are you on vacation again? Have you gone on a trip? God, have you seen my suffering?

When people are confused, they sometimes try to adopt Ashtoreth, Baal, and other foreign gods in order to have a better life, and they come up with many tricks. Later, I discovered that the only way is to believe in the Lord properly! If you have listened to my sharing, you can firmly establish a theological concept: To this day, God does not want us to die; God wants us to live. To this day, God is a God who helps us. Perhaps you are still in these twenty years, or perhaps you are in the first two years of these twenty years, or perhaps you are in the middle or at the end of these twenty years.

I can tell you all with certainty that I am always grateful to God because I messed up again and again, but God did not crush me to death. Saying blasphemous words is truly worthy of being crushed to death; I am not joking. Even today, I do not feel ashamed to say that I was really that low back then. I always felt that if I preached Jesus, people wouldn't come to the church. Isn't that nonsense? As a result, I replaced Jesus with braised beef; that's all I was capable of at that time. If someone comes to Chinese Mingding Destiny and asks the junior pastor, Can believing in Jesus fill my stomach? you will definitely kick him out. What are you here for? Everyone, please be tolerant of such people because I was like that back then. If they are seeking, then give them an opportunity to seek.

Do you think people like to turn back to God so easily? No, they are all driven in by spirits. If you see that this person's mother died not long ago, and his father also died not long ago, and he has encountered this disaster and that disaster not long ago, and then he is suddenly like this and suddenly like that...No matter what, God has helped us to this day. You say, how does God help people like this? God, can you change the method? God says, no. Do you all know why not? Because people are too stubborn; they have to smash their heads until they bleed before they choose to turn to God. In fact, God does not want us to be like this. Why are you so stubborn with God? It's really tiring!

In fact, I tell you all that there are still many people seeking in North America because the local churches are not effective, and they are watching people get sick right before their eyes. There is one person in a church with two or three hundred people, which is not small. Later, the pastor was gone, and they hired someone from the marketplace as a pastor. After being hired, he contracted COVID-19, and he had a fever and was very uncomfortable. In the entire church, only one person often listened to the truth of our Chinese Mingding Destiny and was willing to pursue it. Another sister prayed for this pastor who was hired from the marketplace, and he was healed immediately after one prayer. The entire church was very lonely; she was the only one willing to do healing and deliverance. Later, another person started doing healing and deliverance, and he was also healed after one prayer, and they were extremely happy!

When they shared this with me, I was also happy! But there are still many ineffective things! Are there many ineffective things that the Israelites experienced during these twenty years? A lot! Why? Not counting the fact that the Ark of the Covenant was taken away, and then after the Ark of the Covenant was returned, God struck down seventy men of Beth Shemesh, and then they sent the Ark of the Covenant to Kiriath-jearim. Who took it in? There was a bold fellow named Abinadab. After taking it in, he had his son Eleazar guard the Ark of the Lord. The Ark of the Covenant was not that attractive, and later Abinadab's other son, Uzzah, was struck dead by the Ark of the Covenant because he touched it.

During these years, the Ark of the Covenant had become like this, and the tabernacle that Moses had built was gone. The altar of incense and the basin for washing hands were nowhere to be found. Wandering around, wandering around, less and less, and finally only the Ark of the Covenant was left. These spiritual days were very desolate. Days without God are like sheep without a shepherd, being bullied by wolves at will. It's really miserable! I can tell you all that the most important thing in this world is not your work, nor your wealth, nor your Douyin and video accounts; the most important thing is God. Listen to my advice, maybe you are forty years old this year, try another twenty years, and you will be sixty years old, it's not too late. I have this patience, and God also has this patience.

We must know that living this life is a spiritual matter. The demons often come to attack you. Can you block the demons? You can't block them, so we experience a lot of things. God has prepared many people around the world, and the brothers and sisters among us should love the Lord your God with all your heart, with all your soul, and with all your mind! Have you suffered enough during these twenty years? It's good if you have suffered enough, once you suffer, you seek, and once you seek, you find it.

Samuel's Leadership Position Has Been Restored

Samuel was not free during these twenty years, but no one listened to him! It's not that after twenty years, the Israelites suddenly said, Samuel! Come! Lead us! That's not the case. What did Samuel do during these twenty years? Hard work. Do you all know about grassroots? Grassroots is constantly working at the basic level, constantly calling on the Israelites to return to God, carrying that kind of pain in his heart. It's not because Samuel was young; Samuel was quite old when Eli died. As a result, Samuel did a lot of basic work during those twenty years, constantly deepening his understanding of God. He constantly went to the grassroots level to spread God's message.

In our early years, we also printed some tissue packets, and after printing them, we went to the streets to distribute them. Oh! I tell you, as soon as we started, some people's faces turned grim. Have you all distributed paper napkins? I have distributed them, and I distributed them quite well. There were also many people who came because of the paper napkins. So in the early years, when the church was in a transitional phase, with only a few cats, how did we get through it? That's how we got through it. We have not been idle in the past few years either. We have developed the《101 Course》, developed the《102 Course》, etc., one after another. We have examined the 《Bible》 book by book, and written it book by book, and that's how we got to today. We have trained leaders one by one, and that's all hand-in-hand training.

I guess Samuel worked hard during these twenty years, constantly working at the grassroots level. Some people say, this is campaign language! If you are a political party, you must work at the grassroots level in order to get votes, right! That's roughly what it means. But we are not a political party, and Samuel worked at the grassroots level for twenty years! After twenty years, the Israelites said, we want to return to the Lord, we all messed up. We didn't listen to Samuel before, today we want to call Samuel: Samuel! You say, what should we do? As a result, Samuel's leadership position was restored, and Samuel told the Israelites his theological system.

Today, we are like Samuel, constantly working at the grassroots level around the world, doing it little by little, doing it one by one. Then someone said, we want to return to God! The Chinese Mingding Destiny theological system is in line with Moses' theological system, and also in line with Samuel's theological system. Samuel never gave up after twenty years.

Then Samuel said to all the house of Israel, If ye do return unto the LORD with all your hearts, then put away the strange gods and Ashtaroth from among you, and prepare your hearts unto the LORD, and serve him only: and he will deliver you out of the hand of the Philistines. (1 Samuel 7:3)

Have you suffered enough in the hands of the Philistines? Have you suffered enough? You've eaten enough, and you've suffered enough.

Then the children of Israel did put away Baalim and Ashtaroth, and served the LORD only. And Samuel said, Gather all Israel unto Mizpeh, and I will pray for you unto the LORD. (1 Samuel 7:4-5)

Mizpeh is the Zunyi Conference of Israel, re-establishing Samuel as the core leader. In this place, Samuel led the Israelites back to God and restored Samuel's leadership position. Samuel never gave up on his twenty years of grassroots work. In fact, he had no money, no people, and nothing. It's probably tearful to think about those days. Today's state is that we are walking to today's position. You are blessed to be able to come among us today!

Back then, I led that small group, handing out tissue packets, deeply cultivating the grassroots, alas! Too much to say, all tears. We thank God! Whether in that era of handing out tissue packets, or in today's era, or in the future era, no matter which era, we tell ourselves in our hearts, until now God has helped us! When weeping, tell God in your heart, until now you have helped me! Persist, persist with faith for twenty years! I thank God! God did not let us persist for twenty years. But in various parts of the world, there are still many people in these twenty years, shouldn't we need to cultivate more deeply?

Samuel restored leadership, how was it restored? Samuel judged the Israelites in Mizpah, in fact, he was leading the Israelites. Our brothers and sisters must know that our hearts must not be too narrow, can our hearts be like Samuel's? Know that God is helping these people. No matter which era you are in, no matter what stage, God is the God who helps us!

I asked one of our pastors: How is the sister you ministered to with the symptom of blood in her urine? She said: Teacher, she is well. I was very comforted after hearing this, why is she well? Because her heart returned to God. Her heart used to be controlled by the world to the point of blood in her urine. When I ministered to her, I told her, sister, if this continues, it will be more than just blood in your urine, you might even be passing blood in your stool, wouldn't that be troublesome? We can't even control these things, life without God is too hard!

So brothers and sisters, let us all return to God, let us walk out of these twenty years, and then determine one thing, we cannot do without God. Those whose intestines are about to leak, who cannot pass stool, and those with arthritis all over their bodies, pain all over their bodies, cancer, let us begin to grasp a basic concept, that is, we need God. Don't you need God? I need it! We can't beat the demons ourselves, so let's stop being so stubborn!

The Attack of the Philistines is Also God's Help

The Philistines came to attack the Israelites, didn't they gather in Mizpah? Even if the Philistines come to attack Israel, that is also God helping us. Many people talk about demonic attacks, why do they like to talk about attacks so much? I think I'll send you a hen, always saying you're being attacked.

Some time ago, there was a brother who was heavily influenced by me in their church, often helping people cast out demons, and while casting out demons, his own child developed a mental illness. Then he came to me for ministry, his wife was also there, and he secretly went out to call me, teacher, my child has a mental illness, is it related to my casting out demons? Is our family being attacked? I said, stop it, if you didn't cast out demons, it would be even more serious than this! Demons don't care whether you cast them out or not, aren't many people caught even if you don't cast them out, the logic is very obvious. You say it's not related, it seems a little. You say it's related, it seems not related either.

As for attacks or hens, these are not important, what is important is to eliminate the demons! Even if the Philistines come to attack, this is the day to manifest God's power, until now the Lord Jehovah God has helped us, as long as our hearts return to God. Is your situation getting worse? If it gets worse, don't be afraid, hold on tightly to God, you will see God's hand, He will personally fight for you in front of you. But what is your goal after all? Why did the Israelites turn away from God? Because they only wanted to live their lives, but can living their lives be good?

For whoever wants to save their life will lose it, but whoever loses their life for me will find it. (Matthew 1:25)

Don't offend anyone, but don't offend God, it's troublesome to offend God. Return to God! The Philistines came to attack the Israelites, do you think they can attack? Are the Philistines' knives powerful, their weapons powerful, or their strategies and tactics powerful? No, God is powerful. If Christians fight a losing battle, they must know for sure that the main reason lies in our hearts, whether our hearts want to return to God? Our hearts must return to God, completely dedicating ourselves to God. Chinese Mingding Destiny is definitely not, oh, I am saved, I can go to heaven when I die. I say, save what? Still need to be saved, I see you're old fashioned. Can't do that!

Chinese Mingding Destiny is a theology of paying the price, you will definitely receive God's grace, but it is not a gospel of grace, because we dedicate our lives to God. So brothers and sisters, let us begin to restore our inner mentality, your work is not determined by your boss, but by God; your body is not determined by maintenance, but by God; all the things you live for are all determined by God. As for whether it's leaking butt or leaking pee, turn back to God. As for whether your intestines are leaking, whether your stomach is leaking, whether cancer has arisen, these are not terrible. What is terrible is that people are stubborn and unwilling to return to God. People should not live to live, people should live for God.

So the Philistines came to attack, that is God helping you, until now God is helping you! How does He help you? Let you know that the days of eating pig feed are not good; let you know that the days without God are not good; let you know for sure a spiritual truth, that it is only right and proper to dedicate your life to God, that is grace, that is blessing! Some people's words sound strange to me. They say, ah! I have already dedicated myself to God, as if I have suffered a loss. It is only right and proper to dedicate oneself to God. Does God need you? Just a piece of stinky tofu, God doesn't need it. What does God need? You return to God, just to receive grace from God, so turn your heart back to God.

As a result, the Philistines came to attack Israel, when did they come to attack? When Samuel was offering sacrifices. At this time, do you want to drop the sheep and pick up the knife to fight the enemy? No! Brothers and sisters, we must be clear about one thing, with God, can't God fight for us? Even if the Israelites were unarmed, God could rescue them from the hands of Pharaoh in Egypt. Pharaoh of Egypt was the most powerful country at that time, with the most powerful army, but in God's hands, they became playthings. God struck Pharaoh of Egypt, and he obediently sent the Israelites away. Don't ever think: Ah! I am being attacked by the devil! Ah! The Philistines are here!

Then the Israelites said to Samuel, “Do not stop crying out to the Lord our God for us, that he may rescue us from the hand of the Philistines.” Then Samuel took a suckling lamb and sacrificed it whole as a burnt offering to the Lord. He cried out to the Lord on Israel’s behalf, and the Lord answered him. (1 Samuel 7:8-9)

Because they had fought losing battles under the Philistines for many years, the Israelites shivered when they heard the Philistines were coming, they were frightened, without God, they really couldn't beat them. But this time we have God! This time our hearts return to God! This time we have Samuel, we listen to Samuel's words! Samuel, quickly cry out to God for us. Samuel was very calm, he slaughtered a lamb that had not been weaned, and offered it all to God, this is called a sweet-smelling burnt offering. A burnt offering is a complete offering, nothing is left.

Brothers and sisters, do you want to offer yourselves completely? If you have a heart to offer yourself completely to God, I tell you, you are very powerful, no one can attack you. If you often fight losing battles in the business world, this is God helping you, lest you love the world, lest you rely on your own talents. The Philistines attacked the Israelites, that was God's help, just as God attacked the Egyptians.

Twenty years ago, they took the Ark of the Covenant captive, and the diviners told the Philistine leaders, don't play with this God, you can't play with him, this God is too powerful! People all know that our God is powerful, but we who believe in God don't know. The Philistines thought, didn't we beat them as easily as catching chickens before? The Israelites are like birds, beat them! Do you think it's okay for you to gather in Mizpah? But this time is different, the whole family of Israel is inclined to God. Whatever we rely on, let's throw it away and rely on God alone.

Some people don't have enough faith, if they don't have enough faith, they still have idols in their hearts, and they still expect God to help them, that is a tragedy. We must know for sure that the most basic understanding of God is that God is the God who helps us forever! Remove the idols we rely on for survival, we no longer live by ourselves, no longer by idols, and no longer by money. Living is a very simple thing, that is, relying on our God. Let us offer ourselves completely to God, like that lamb that has not yet been weaned.

God Fights for Us in Front

The Israelites recovered a large area of lost land and subdued the Philistines. God is the God who fights for us, what else are you afraid of? With God, don't be afraid of anything. The Philistines dare not get angry anymore, dare not show off, dare not be欠. We used to go astray, get bullied by demons, and have our blessings stolen by demons. Today, no matter what kind of situation we are in, start learning to trust God. Come to Chinese Mingding Destiny and start experiencing God. Here is God's presence, here is God's altar, here is a group of people like a lamb that has not been weaned, completely dedicated to God as a burnt offering. If you are willing to be such a people, I will definitely not leave you behind. What a good choice this is! Recovering lost territory.

For those who do business, the blessings that the devil has stolen in the past, we must recover today. For those who work, the blessings that the devil has stolen in the past, we must recover today. The health that the devil has stolen in the past, and all that has been stolen, must be returned today. This is the day to recover lost territory, this is the day when our hearts return to God, and the idols in our hearts are removed. Start following Samuel to recover lost territory, it's extremely good. Return one ox for every five oxen, and one sheep for every four sheep. Whether it is stolen, eaten, killed, or sold, it must be repaid in double.

You know, in the past few years, I was bullied terribly by the devil. Although I established a church, I established a failed church, specializing in fighting losing battles in the way of spiritual warfare. Don't think I was not good when I fought losing battles, when I fought losing battles, casting out demons and healing and deliverance were all pretty good. But that was not winning, because I often used the way of discerning good and evil to deal with discerning good and evil, and the arrow of truth was not effective against the devil. After repentance, I began to climb the mountain of Jehovah and enter the temple of the God of Jacob, it was extremely good!

The path of Chinese Mingding Destiny that brothers and sisters walk with me is a path of constantly knowing God. There is no end to knowing God, constantly climbing, the strength of your battle, as your height increases, constantly increases, the day to recover lost territory is coming.

Start to Be Raised Up by God and Become a Leader Like Samuel

Of course, it is better to be a leader, do you want to be a small soldier? Some people say that not everyone can be a leader. What about that? Aren't there chiefs of ten and chiefs of fifty? It depends on which level you are at. There are also centurions and commanders of thousands, there is plenty of room to rise. Start to be raised up by God and become a leader like Samuel. Samuel was a judge of Israel all his life, and never deviated from God. God really hopes that we will be above all nations, God can't wait for us to be raised up, as long as we are willing, it will be easy. If once you become a leader, if you are thinking about crooked things, it will be enough for you to drink a pot of it.

Does everyone also have this confusion, why didn't Samuel bring out the Ark of the Covenant? You will find that Samuel is not playing religious rituals, Samuel is a grassroots leader who constantly cultivates from the grassroots. Because the Israelites turned away from God as they grew. Samuel traveled throughout Israel, doing the work of judgment there. Why didn't Samuel take out the Ark of the Covenant? The Ark of the Covenant is just an external form, in fact, people's hearts must know God's will. God's will is for us to govern the people of Israel well. In the church, be a pastor and shepherd God's flock well, do well the things God has entrusted to you, and be responsible.

So later Solomon asked for wisdom, he did not say, God, give me wisdom to do big business! Give me wisdom so that I can enjoy wisdom, and I can give speeches in various places and countries! Solomon asked for wisdom saying, God, give me wisdom to govern the people of Israel. It is much better for people to bear God's destiny and the responsibilities God has entrusted to you in their hearts than those religious forms.

I once met a pastor who said: You, you like to do very practical things, I am not like you, I do national things. Many people like to do things that are very big, very glamorous, and speak as if they are very powerful, but I don't like them. I just like to be down-to-earth, train one person if I can train one person, release one person if I can release one person, teach one person how to find a job if I can teach one person, and teach one person how to write a resume if I can teach one person. I just do these things, but I know that my God is pleased with me.

Our brothers and sisters begin to gradually ponder, putting things into practice, this is Samuel's style. If we teach and train for twenty years, the Israelites will return to God. Thank God, the twenty years have not been wasted. Later the Bible records that Samuel opened a school of prophets. So he kept training people and putting things into practice.

Be a Leader, Do Practical Things, and Lay a Solid Foundation

A pastor came among us and said that he came from a certain church. I briefly introduced to him what we were doing, and I also encouraged him to imitate our path. He was very moved. What was he moved by? He said, the people you trained are too powerful! But he didn't know that I trained them little by little, and my heart was full of patience.

I thank God! God is pleased with me, until now, I know that my God helps me. I also know that God wants us all to rise up, and God wants to raise up a mighty army in this generation, that can trample on the devil's enemies. Everyone is like a lamb, completely dedicated to God, as a sweet-smelling burnt offering, completely dedicated, without reservation.

This is also my hope, may God bless everyone!

1 Samuel Chapter 7 Scripture

7:1 So the men of Kiriath Jearim came and took up the ark of the Lord and brought it to Abinadab’s house on the hill. And they consecrated Eleazar his son to be in charge of the ark of the Lord.
7:2 The ark remained at Kiriath Jearim a long time—twenty years in all. Then all the people of Israel turned back to the Lord.
7:3 So Samuel said to all the Israelites, “If you are returning to the Lord with all your hearts, then rid yourselves of the foreign gods and the Ashtoreths and commit yourselves to the Lord and serve him only, and he will deliver you out of the hand of the Philistines.”
7:4 So the Israelites put away their Baals and Ashtoreths, and served the Lord only.
7:5 Then Samuel said, “Assemble all Israel at Mizpah, and I will intercede with the Lord for you.”
7:6 When they had assembled at Mizpah, they drew water and poured it out before the Lord, and on that day they fasted and confessed, “We have sinned against the Lord.” And Samuel judged the Israelites at Mizpah.
7:7 When the Philistines heard that Israel had assembled at Mizpah, the rulers of the Philistines came up to attack them. When the Israelites heard of it, they were afraid of the Philistines;
7:8 they said to Samuel, “Do not stop crying out to the Lord our God for us, that he may rescue us from the hand of the Philistines.”
7:9 Then Samuel took a suckling lamb and sacrificed it whole as a burnt offering to the Lord. He cried out to the Lord on Israel’s behalf, and the Lord answered him.
7:10 While Samuel was sacrificing the burnt offering, the Philistines drew near to engage Israel in battle. But that day the Lord thundered with loud thunder against the Philistines and threw them into such a panic that they were routed before the Israelites.
7:11 The men of Israel rushed out of Mizpah and pursued the Philistines, slaughtering them along the way to a point below Beth Kar.
7:12 Then Samuel took a stone and set it up between Mizpah and Shen. He named it Ebenezer, saying, “Thus far the Lord has helped us.”
7:13 So the Philistines were subdued and did not invade Israelite territory again. The hand of the Lord was against the Philistines all the days of Samuel.
7:14 The towns that the Philistines had taken from Israel were restored to Israel, from Ekron to Gath; and Israel recovered their territory from the hands of the Philistines. And there was peace between Israel and the Amorites.
7:15 Samuel continued as Israel’s leader all the days of his life.
7:16 From year to year he went on a circuit from Bethel to Gilgal to Mizpah, judging Israel in all those places.
7:17 But he always went back to Ramah, for his home was there, and there he also judged Israel. And he built an altar there to the Lord.

Teacher, what are the manifestations of trusting oneself? What are the manifestations of trusting God? What are the differences between the two? How can one move from trusting oneself to trusting God?
Teacher, what does it mean to turn back to God? I am someone who goes my own way, knowingly committing offenses, and easily following my feelings, resulting in many sins. Now I really want to soften and turn back to God, but I don't know how to turn back? How to do it? How to live for God? What are the manifestations of total dedication to God? Teacher, please help.

Reply: I know you want to get the answer on how to live for God all at once. But that's not realistic. Read the Bible carefully, understanding God's will is our lifelong pursuit. But God doesn't ask us to change completely all at once. Receive a little, implement a little, and continue to grow, then you will satisfy God's will!

How can one move from trusting oneself to trusting God. Reply: Wow, you want to get the answer all at once! It's hard to discuss it theoretically. The Bible is all about stories, letting us understand through how people in the Bible trust God. Go and read the stories of Abraham, Isaac, Jacob, and Joseph carefully. Imitation is key. Imitate those who trust God, and it will be fine! Jacob and Esau are two typical examples of relying on God and relying on oneself.
