【Bible Study】Judges Chapter 07 - God Will Use These Three Hundred Men to Save You and Deliver the Midianites Into Your Hands

2024-12-11 1,238 Judges

Good day, everyone. Let us delve into the seventh chapter of Judges, a chapter that has profoundly influenced me. In the early days of establishing the church, I had hoped that the church could have three hundred elite soldiers. Later, I realised that three hundred elite soldiers were beyond reach, so I changed it to one hundred and twenty mighty warriors of prayer.

After Jesus ascended to heaven in the Upper Room, only one hundred and twenty people were praying there. What were they praying for? They were seeking the descent of the Holy Spirit. On the day of Pentecost, one hundred and twenty disciples of Jesus were praying there. Therefore, Gideon and his three hundred mighty warriors have had a very deep impact on me. Is thirty thousand better, or is three hundred better? I believe three hundred is better.

I used to be an ordinary member in the local church, just muddling along. Actually, I had a minor position, becoming a small group leader leading Bible studies. I noticed a very strange phenomenon: the church always wanted more people, but when I was building the church, I found that having many people was not good. Why? Because I saw that our church's pastor was exhausted. Truly, there were more people who were a burden than those who were productive. In Hokkien, Taiwanese, or Minnan dialect, it sounds even more vivid.

I saw that pastor rushing to the hospital for one person with cancer. Before that cancer was even healed, another person had a stroke, and he was off to the hospital again. After a while, another person was exhausted, completely worn out. Just when things were almost settled, someone died, and then he was organising a funeral. My goodness! After seeing that, I really didn't want to be a pastor.

So, is it good to have many people? No, it is not. The church is filled with a mixed bag, creating a chaotic atmosphere. I wondered: when can we establish a victorious church? When can we begin to raise up Gideon's three hundred elite soldiers? I said: God! May you raise us up to be a shining light in this generation, a church that shines brightly. That was my hope at the time.

In the blink of an eye, so many years have passed. I thank God! In our church, even four-year-old children's prayers are effective. I am particularly moved! Some people ask: do you envy those churches with tens of thousands of members? I do not. I don't think the number of people is important. What is important is whether we can defeat the enemy when they come. If the church is not victorious, it is a great loss for the church members. Our brothers and sisters must be resolute, no longer fearful, and become victorious elite soldiers.

The theme of this chapter is "God will use these three hundred men to save you and deliver the Midianites into your hands." We must know that God does not grant victory based on numbers. If you do not know this, you must know it now: God does not grant victory based on numbers.

I. God Does Not Grant Us Victory Based on Numbers

I discovered this secret long ago: it is God who grants us victory. Do you know why David counted the number of his troops during his reign? Deep down, he believed that victory was due to the weapons of our army, the equipment of our army, our well-trained soldiers, and a whole host of other reasons.

In fact, David had always known that victory came from God. He once led a group of ragtag soldiers, evading Saul. When they went to battle, some became weary and stayed behind to rest. He continued on with a small group. After winning the battle, the spoils were divided equally among everyone, those who fought and those who did not. Can you understand this? Why? Because David believed that victory was not because you went to battle. Going to battle was a grace, not a basis for boasting. It was because God granted us victory, God delivered the enemy into our hands.

Therefore, people often boast in men. Our brothers and sisters must not look at the number of people in the church. No matter how many people there are in a chaotic church, it is not very meaningful. We must know that only those who can fight count. God does not like people boasting in numbers. God likes people to be united. Those who followed Gideon rose up, and suddenly there were thirty-two thousand people. If it were you, how would you feel? You might feel: wow, revival! Do you feel a sense of revival? Yes. Is it a revival? I see it as a bit of a problem. More people who are a burden than those who are productive. Do you think those thirty-two thousand people are good? Just the supplies alone would be a big problem.

Our brothers and sisters, we must change this concept. Do not boast in numbers. If you want to build a church, build a church of elite soldiers. We must know that the things God does are things that prevent people from boasting. We must continue to be molded and raised up among us. God wants us to be continually molded.

God did not like thirty-two thousand people. Gideon thought: my goodness! Can we still not win? There are thirty-two thousand people. In fact, the Midianites sent an army of one hundred thousand. What are thirty-two thousand people compared to that? It is still not enough. Moreover, twenty-two thousand of these thirty-two thousand people were afraid. When those twenty-two thousand people saw that everyone was going, they said: I would be embarrassed not to go, so I will go anyway. God said: there are too many people.

These twenty-two thousand people must not be taken into battle. Why? Because if they are taken into battle, they will turn around and run away. If these thirty-two thousand people charge forward, and those twenty-two thousand people turn around and run, what will happen to the remaining ten thousand people? The remaining ten thousand people will be finished, they will also turn around and run. Then Gideon's three hundred men will be finished, attracting the one hundred thousand strong army, who could drown you with their spit.

Therefore, you cannot bring these fearful people! If there are still fearful people among us, you must change, because fear attracts demons. You must adjust. Some people say: I was born timid. Then you can choose to be bold. A person who is afraid of death cannot be a soldier of God. A person who is afraid of death is useless except for attracting demons.

Our brothers and sisters must re-examine themselves. Are there still people who are afraid of dead people? I find it strange. I am not afraid of the living, why would I be afraid of the dead? That is evil. What God wants to do is use these three hundred men to kill one hundred thousand. Fearful people are useless, they are a side effect. In the end, there were still ten thousand people left. God said: there are still too many people. Gideon was a little dazed at the time: one hundred thousand people! We are going to fight one hundred thousand people with ten thousand people, is that going to work? They are a well-trained Midianite army. Can our ten thousand people do it? God said: there are still too many people.

In the end, God chose three hundred people. These were chosen by God himself. These three hundred people were amazing. Not one of them said: hey, have you written your will? We are going up this time, we are going to die this time. Have you arranged everything at home? I tell you, there were no such people. God wants to grant us victory, they are all people of great faith. I tell you, to build a church, you must be united, united in faith. These three hundred people, they did as Gideon commanded them.

II. These Three Hundred Men Were All Chosen by God

And the Lord said unto Gideon, The people are yet too many; bring them down unto the water, and I will try them for thee there: and it shall be, that of whom I say unto thee, This shall go with thee, the same shall go with thee; and of whom I say unto thee, This shall not go with thee, the same shall not go. So he brought down the people unto the water: and the Lord said unto Gideon, Every one that lappeth of the water with his tongue, as a dog lappeth, him shalt thou set by himself; likewise every one that boweth down upon his knees to drink. And the number of them that lapped, putting their hand unto their mouth, were three hundred men: but all the rest of the people bowed down upon their knees to drink water. (Judges 7:4-6)

Once they were separated, there were nine thousand seven hundred people on one side and three hundred people on the other. If ordinary people were to look at it, the nine thousand seven hundred people should be more, that nine thousand seven hundred people were a dark mass, but they could not compare to these three hundred people. Actually, how do people drink water? If you ask me why they drank water this way, I don't know, and I can't explain it. God used this way of drinking water to choose people. I tell you, we have really not found such a thing happening again with these people who cupped their hands and lapped water.

After Judges, this method was never used again to choose people. Actually, these three hundred people did not know why they were cupping their hands and lapping water, but they did it anyway. Why? God wanted to choose them. As for the other people who knelt down to drink water, I don't know how they drank while kneeling, I didn't figure it out. Actually, there is no need to figure it out, it was just God's choice. Why would it be like this? We don't need to study this. For example, in the Bible, Jacob used tree bark and branches, and then mating occurred, and sheep with spots and stripes were born. It doesn't work for us to do this again. This method only appeared once.

Was Gideon a little dazed at the time? Gideon thought: God, are you kidding me? Three hundred people? Thank God! I tell you, Gideon was a man of faith. God said: three hundred people. Then these three hundred people must be better than an army of one hundred thousand. So I tell you, the church pursuing numbers is a ridiculous thing. So this situation appeared in Peter's time. We will talk about this later.

How could three hundred people cope with an army of one hundred thousand? That is God's work. All three hundred people believed, and these three hundred people had a very strange feeling. They would not say: just the three hundred of us, have you written your will? The one hundred thousand strong army could drown us with their spit. Can you swim? Can you swim in spit? Have you made arrangements with your family? There was no WeChat or phone at that time.

These three hundred people were not like that. Who were they? They were chosen by God, trusting in God. Following Gideon, the sword of the Lord and of Gideon, they felt very fortunate to be chosen by God. Like our brothers and sisters, their testimonies are: I am in the victorious church, I am in Chinese Mingding Destiny. Being in the victorious church is a source of pride for them!

If you can't even pay this price, then can you be called an elite soldier? This price is not caring about death. God was able to choose me, God was able to use me, allowing me to work with God. There was no such thing in the previous generations, and there will be no such thing in future generations. God chose me in this generation. Absolutely proud!

Thirty-two thousand people took the exam, and only three hundred people passed. That is one out of every one hundred people. What do you think? In my past ministry, I really only picked a few out of every hundred. We are chosen and used by God in this generation. You won't die, it's hard to die! Because God is with you, it is the enemy who dies.

The feeling inside these three hundred people at that time was like getting into Tsinghua or Peking University. The nine thousand seven hundred people looked and said: what's going on? Just because we drank water like this, they were chosen, and we weren't chosen. Then they really wanted to squeeze in, but people didn't want them.

We really created something in building the church that they call "hunger marketing." It is really an honor to be able to come among us. It is not easy to pass our courses and come to our church. Someone said: teacher, I am in Chinese Mingding Destiny, and I am having a very fulfilling time. When I heard this, there was a hidden meaning. Oh! Learning every day, constantly growing.

Among us, it is difficult to get by without doing anything. If you don't hand in your homework for a long time, then forget it! You can't even hand in your homework. Among us, there shouldn't be anyone who doesn't know how to take notes, right? If there are still people who don't take notes, people who are just hanging around here, there is a little problem. We have Bible study, Sunday service, prayer meetings, and "active learning" courses. My goodness! Studying here is more like going to university than going to university.

Gideon was a man who trusted in God, and these three hundred people were also people who trusted in God. Some people are addicted to doing audio transcription work. Now that artificial intelligence has come out, audio transcription doesn't seem to be needed anymore. Oh, a little regret! We are really a magical church. Recently, my co-workers are adjusting our official website to gradually move towards learning, to better help everyone collect information, and to better help everyone study well. In the future, we will have more other materials to help everyone learn and improve.

III. God Commanded Gideon to Go to the Camp of Midian to See

God chose these three hundred people, and they were quite proud, but you look at me, and I look at you. They said: hey? How can God make us three hundred people kill one hundred thousand people? Even if you were to chop one hundred thousand pieces of firewood, these three hundred people would be enough for you to chop. How would you chop them? One hundred thousand divided by three hundred, how many pieces would each person chop? That is still a pile of firewood. Oh, wouldn't that be exhausting?

These three hundred people were thinking, but they couldn't figure out how God could make us victorious. Oh, are we just going to chop one hundred thousand people, one head with each chop? But the problem is that when you chop, people will dodge. You may not hit once even if you chop ten times. These three hundred people were thinking: how do we play this game? They were very confused.

And it came to pass the same night, that the Lord said unto him, Arise, get thee down unto the host; for I have delivered it into thine hand. (Judges 7:9)

Gideon thought: what if I go and don't come back? As a result, the Lord God was quite interesting.

But if thou fear to go down, go thou with Phurah thy servant down to the host: And thou shalt hear what they say; and afterward shall thine hands be strengthened to go down unto the host. Then went he down with Phurah his servant unto the outside of the armed men that were in the host. (Judges 7:10-11)

Gideon said to Phurah: do you want to go with me? Phurah said: let me see. Gideon said: what are you looking at? Phurah said: oh, I feel like it's not going to work if just the two of us go. I tell you, Gideon's whole body was numb, like he was being electrocuted, his legs were being electrocuted. Phurah was about the same. But Gideon thought: God told me to go to the camp of Midian to see. Oh, struggling! Putting on makeup, putting on a set of Midianite clothes, and sneaking over. My goodness, this time he was bold. God used a dream through the Midianites to kill them.

Gideon approached the tent to listen. I don't know if he approached one tent or many tents. He should have been talking there in many tents. Two people were talking there. Isn't this what the Bible says?

But if thou fear to go down, go thou with Phurah thy servant down to the host: And thou shalt hear what they say; and afterward shall thine hands be strengthened to go down unto the host. Then went he down with Phurah his servant unto the outside of the armed men that were in the host. (Judges 7:10-11)

Gideon went down with Phurah. At first, his whole body was numb. It is a lie to say that Gideon was not afraid. God said: if you are afraid, you can go with your servant Phurah. As a result, after going:

And the Midianites and the Amalekites and all the children of the east lay along in the valley like grasshoppers for multitude; and their camels were without number, as the sand by the sea side for multitude. (Judges 7:12)

Looking out, it was boundless, there were one hundred thousand soldiers. According to the current saying, if one person occupies ten square meters in the camp, that is a large area. As a result, Gideon approached the tent and heard them say:

And when Gideon was come, behold, there was a man that told a dream unto his fellow, and said, Behold, I dreamed a dream, and, lo, a cake of barley bread tumbled into the host of Midian, and came unto a tent, and smote it that it fell, and overturned it, that the tent lay along. (Judges 7:13)

The barley cake has nothing to do with Gideon's sword. I tell you, this person likes to talk nonsense. Why is he talking nonsense? Because he had a dream. There must be people among us who have all kinds of strange dreams. Actually, I often have strange dreams too. I had a dream last night that exhausted me. I dreamed that I parked my car in a place and couldn't find it. In that huge parking lot, I was looking for it all the time, and then I woke up. Fortunately, I don't like to interpret dreams. These random thoughts and nonsense dreams are all garbage, throw them away.

That Midianite, it was a barley cake, like an Indian Roti Prata, Indian flying pancake. How did this become Gideon's sword? After Gideon heard this, he thought: these people's brains are broken. What barley cake can roll into the camp? If a barley cake rolls into the camp, let's eat it quickly. If you say a stone rolled into the camp, that's fine.

And his fellow answered and said, This is nothing else save the sword of Gideon the son of Joash, a man of Israel: for into his hand hath God delivered Midian, and all the host. (Judges 7:14)

I don't think the Bible says that Gideon went to other camps to see other tents. He turned around and saw the entire Midian army. In every tent, they were saying: I had a dream, you had a dream, and everyone dreamed of a barley cake. What a strange dream. I tell you, God used a dream to digest the hearts of these soldiers. God is too powerful! What is the use of having many people? No use!

As a result, Gideon got the password for victory called "the sword of the Lord and of Gideon." Then Gideon shouted there: the sword of the Lord and of Gideon! I ask you: what will the enemy do? The enemy will say: my goodness, it really is Gideon's sword! What to do? Confused. What is the use of having many people? Having many people can only have a chaotic effect.

God made up a password called "the sword of the Lord and of Gideon," and then it turned into a barley cake. It's quite interesting. I tell you: you must learn to fear the Lord your God, you must do what is right in the eyes of the Lord. I tell you, God making you victorious, God turning you around, is not a particularly difficult thing. The key is that we often do not believe.

We are often captured by the enemy, we often do not do what is right in the eyes of God; we often do what is evil in the eyes of God. We are afraid of what we should not be afraid of, and we do not know to be afraid of what we should be afraid of. Does everyone understand what I am saying? What we really need to be afraid of is God. You must fear the Lord your God.

After God commanded Gideon to go to the camp of Midian to see, this Gideon was bolder than the Midianites. My goodness, he was so powerful. Gideon came back full of confidence and said to these three hundred people: I went to the camp of Midian, and everyone in the enemy's tents was talking about the sword of the Lord and of Gideon. Arise! The Lord has delivered the enemy into our hands!

IV. Arise, for the Lord Has Delivered the Enemy into Our Hands

If Gideon had returned to these three hundred men and said, "My heavens, the camels are countless, and the Midianite army is as numerous as the sand on the seashore," those three hundred men would have been finished! If Gideon and Purah had returned speaking such words, what would have happened? God would have struck them down immediately, and there is precedent for that. Do not think that the matter of drinking water has no precedent; drinking water, cupping it in your hands, that has no precedent. But for reporting bad news and lacking faith in God, there is plenty of precedent. Did not the twelve spies die in that manner?

But Gideon returned and said, "Do not be afraid! God has delivered the enemy into our hands." Do not think that three hundred men cannot defeat one hundred thousand; those are not just three hundred men, but God's army is already fighting for us ahead of us. If you have this spiritual vision, you will be powerful, and you will become a spiritual person. If you do not have this spiritual vision, you are not far from those twelve spies.

After Gideon heard the dream and its interpretation, he worshiped God. He returned to the camp of Israel and called out, “Get up! For the Lord has delivered the Midianite army into your hands.” Dividing the three hundred men into three companies, he placed trumpets and empty jars in the hands of all of them, with torches inside. “Watch me,” he told them. “As I approach the edge of the camp, do exactly as I do. When I and all who are with me blow our trumpets, then from all around the camp blow yours and shout, ‘For the Lord and for Gideon!’” (Judges 7:15-18)

It is like "Open Sesame"; I tell you, victory has a password. In fact, God gave them just one sentence: "For the Lord and for Gideon's sword." As a result, these three hundred men, in one corner and another, broke the jars in their hands, and then the three companies blew their trumpets, waving their torches and shouting, "For the Lord and for Gideon's sword!" As a result, the people in the city, in the darkness, could not distinguish between friend and foe and began to kill each other.

These three hundred elite soldiers did not do any work; they just held torches and trumpets, shouting and blowing. God is so powerful! One hundred thousand men, one hundred thousand tons of wood for firewood, each man would have to chop three hundred and thirty pieces. Try chopping one; chopping three hundred heads is no joke. But it was of no use at all; the Midianites started fighting among themselves.

I think these enemies did not know how long they killed each other, stabbing wildly in the dark. What was going on? I guess God chose these three hundred men, selecting those who were tenors and sopranos, with really good voices, who could shout all night without a problem. As a result, Gideon saw the enemies killing each other with swords and then running away, not knowing why they were running.

I tell you, when the enemy discovered that there were only three hundred men shouting there, they did not actually know there were only three hundred. Just three hundred men, but each holding a trumpet and a torch, blowing loudly and shouting loudly, but the enemy did not know there were only three hundred. In my heart, I was thinking: What is the logic here? Everyone had a dream, and it turned out like this. I tell you, having many people is useless. God, through a dream, caused the enemy to collapse. Is it miraculous? It is miraculous; the Lord has delivered the enemy into our hands.

I want to tell everyone that if you are to be raised up, you must not be a casual person anymore; you must be a learning person. You must learn to fear God, learn from the Bible, learn to know the Lord, to know our God, to know the power of Jesus Christ's resurrection, and to manifest it in our lives. That would be so good! The enemy will be trampled under our feet.

Our brothers and sisters, we must not be carnal people anymore; carnal people attract demons! How I long for every one of our brothers and sisters to be renewed by God. You may be in debt, you may be unemployed, and you may encounter many troubles. I tell you, the root of the trouble is only one thing: not knowing how to fear God, not knowing how powerful God is. Is it not a matter of minutes for God to turn your situation around? The question is whether we have this faith, whether we can become the people of this generation whom God uses. If God wants to use you, I tell you, this is a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity.

Why has our church been able to come this far? I tell you, a pastor who is afraid of death and indulges the flesh cannot lead the brothers and sisters to victory. I really admire Gideon, not the Gideon among us, but the Gideon in the Bible. We have several Gideons among us, and in the end, we have to add another word to distinguish which Gideon we are talking about.

Our God is so wonderful! He will raise up many Gideons among us, who are not afraid of death, and if they are not afraid of death, they will not die. So, brothers and sisters, can we tidy up the faith within us? Begin to thirst to be used by God, to thirst to be chosen by God. Perhaps there will be an opportunity for God to test you, and you may not know what God will use to test you, to see if you are chosen by God, and then to let you see God's work. Those who trust in God are hard to kill. Begin to clear out the worldly logic systems within us, begin to clear out the things within us that indulge the flesh. People in this world must thirst to be used by God; that is so joyful.

If you and I were those three hundred men, around the Midianite camp, in the entire camp, blowing trumpets and waving torches, and then shouting, "For the Lord and for Gideon's sword! For the Lord and for Mingding Destiny!" That would be so fierce, so powerful, so exciting. In this generation, our brothers and sisters must see God's wonderful works, and the power of Jesus Christ's resurrection must also be manifested among us. No matter what demons there are, they will be trampled under our feet. Thank God!

V. All Share in God's Victory

Of the thirty-two thousand men, only three hundred remained. Gideon sent away the rest, saying, "Go throughout these places and block the road at every point." Originally, these people were all timid. When they saw Gideon's victory, they said, "I have seen God's work, and I will also share in God's victory." As a result, everyone became powerful.

One of my colleagues told me, "Teacher, some people look down on us, but do not be sad. They always think others are powerful." I said, "Why?" He said, "In the future, when we become more and more victorious, these people will all share with us in the victory in Jesus Christ." After listening, I was also very encouraged.

Because in this generation, a victorious elite church will be raised up! Many people will be inspired by us. People are like grass on a wall, whichever side the wind is strong, they will blow and fall to that side. Like this, there are a lot of people sitting on the fence watching. In fact, many years ago, I said that we would bring about a new generation of Christian transformation.

If people live long enough, many may think, "Is it that serious?" I tell you, Chinese Mingding Destiny, although it has no face, no name, and no famous pastors, and no Martin Luther will appear, the impact it brings far exceeds the Christian transformations of all past ages. I have studied Christian history quite a bit, and Christian history is very interesting. For example, on Azusa Street in the United States, suddenly there was a great revival, and everyone believed in the Lord. In South Wales in the United Kingdom, in 1904, suddenly many people believed in the Lord, and I thought it was particularly good.

But after I finished studying it, I found it was not good, because only sustained development is what God wants. So Paul established the church in that generation, which had a profound impact on the establishment of churches for hundreds of years to come. But revivals like the one on Azusa Street in the United States and in South Wales in the United Kingdom suddenly disappeared. It seems like they came in an instant, and we do not know. It is like the coronavirus came, and we do not know how it left.

But what we are doing is not this. What we are doing is to know one thing: we are not pursuing that kind of fleeting revival; we are pursuing the strengthening of the foundation of the church, shaping the brothers and sisters into people who have the image of the Apostle Paul and the image of Jesus Christ. At that time, many people will come with us, just like commemorating the victory of the three hundred elite soldiers in those years, which spread throughout the land, and everyone came to share with us the victory that Gideon brought, which was God who made Gideon victorious.

Some people say, "How can you steal God's glory?" It is not that I am stealing God's glory; it is the Lord and Gideon's sword. It is not that Gideon stole God's glory; it is that Gideon manifested God's glory. It is not that we Chinese Mingding Destiny want to steal God's glory; it is that we share glory with God. What a wonderful thing that is! If we live long enough, we will surely see the coming of that generation. Amen! We long for more people to share such victory with us.

VI. Building a Church Is Also Like This

We have walked a difficult road, and building a church is also like this. God has delivered the enemy into our hands. Remember, whether it is the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly realms, the authorities, the powers, or the rulers of this dark world, they will all be placed under our feet, because the church is the body of Jesus Christ.

When God chose Peter, Peter did not emulate Jesus. Why did he not emulate Jesus? Suddenly, three thousand and five thousand people came, and he was overjoyed. Later, what did Peter do? He had everyone sell their possessions and start a very interesting church lifestyle. Actually, when I was thinking about it, I felt it was chaotic. What was Peter doing? Everyone was eating and drinking for free, and they were arguing over food. How could they fight spiritual battles like this? Peter went to manage the food, but he could not manage the food well either.

I tell you, Paul did not do this. Paul did not build a church by pursuing a temporary sensation, like the revivals in South Wales and on Azusa Street; he did not want them. What Paul wanted was to build a victorious church steadily and surely. What a wonderful precedent. So, brothers and sisters, we must not long for Peter's things anymore; it is really like there are no egg-layers but a bunch of those who defecate. Can that church prosper?

Later, God struck the church in Jerusalem, causing the church to scatter, and then opened the era of the Apostle Paul. In that era, Peter quietly withdrew, and Paul began to ascend the stage of church history. The core concept of Chinese Mingding Destiny is Paul's theology. For example, many people are still living in myths today. One pastor said, "Do you know why I preach with such power? Because there are three hundred people praying for me behind me." Is it that three hundred people praying for him gives him power? How can I not find such a precedent in the Bible?

Our brothers and sisters must not have this kind of myth. Some people think that more people praying, or the whole church praying for him, can bring about change. Praying for whom? Praying for a child with self-care disabilities. More people praying will have power, but still living in this situation, is that really the case? How come I did not see Jesus leading an army? Jesus did not lead an army; He handled everything alone, did He not? Jesus even fed five thousand people with five loaves and two fish, but those people just came to freeload.

Later, Jesus did not like such a large group of people, so He sent them away, saying, "You have eaten and that is it; go back quickly." So, brothers and sisters, we no longer pursue this kind of thing; we want to pursue everyone being like Jesus, everyone being like the Apostle Paul, and everyone striving to grow constantly in Jesus Christ. Amen!

So the myth of numbers is a very terrifying myth. Many churches have established prayer teams, and what do they pray for? They pray, "God, change our pastor." It is like releasing witchcraft. I think our brothers and sisters, in any case, must come out of this kind of myth that has no biblical foundation! To build a church, build the one that God has chosen. God Himself builds His church, and His glory will be manifested in the church. Amen!

May God bless everyone!
