Introduction

Good morning, everyone. We will be delivering a sermon today, the first in a new series titled "Possessing the Gates of the Enemy." Possessing the Gates of the Enemy, Sermon One: Offer Your Most Precious to God. Did you know that "possessing the gates of the enemy," if you look at different translations, you will find that this translation actually means possessing the city.

Possessing the enemy's city, that would be something, wouldn't it? The tax revenue would be great; all the city's tax revenue would be yours. Teacher, why do you love money so much? No, no, no, I'm just saying that's how it is. If you possess the enemy's gates, will you be poor? You will not be poor.

Where does this concept come from? This concept comes from Abraham offering Isaac to God. This concept was not proposed earlier; it was proposed later, when Abraham offered Isaac. This concept is very important. Why? Because this concept is called the concept of victory. Where does victory come from? It comes from offering the most precious to God.

If you cannot offer the most precious to God, how can you possess the gates of the enemy? So this matter opens up a concept for us called investment. You invest in God, you buy insurance in God, and what you invest in God is life. Think about how high the return would be, wouldn't it? The return is very high.

So victory is the most important concept. Be a victorious Christian, not a half-baked Christian, not a Christian who provokes God's wrath. The most crucial thing for a Christian is to be victorious; it's a great loss if you are not victorious. You know, the relationship between man and God is like that between a child and his parents.

You see this child, if you want to test whether he is smart or not, you give him some candy, and then he gives a piece of candy to his father. That won't do; that's stupid, isn't it? Why? Because the candy was bought by his father, and then he takes a piece back from him. That won't do. I ask you, isn't that stupid? Because all these things come from the father, and if your father wants one back, and you make your father happy, won't your father give you more? Because your father is your financier.

To know whether a child is smart or not, you must train him from a young age. You let him know what's going on, what the logic behind it is. God says, "Give this to me." That won't do. Wouldn't you say that's stupid? Doesn't everything you have come from God? So to teach a child to be smart, you must deal with selfishness. Selfishness is the most foolish thing in the world.

There was a sister who was quite interesting. When it came to offering to God, that wouldn't do. It's not that she hadn't experienced healing; the ministry I did for her was a miraculous event, just a little short of resurrection from the dead. But when it came to offering, it was like slaughtering a pig, with all the screaming and fuss. If she went out and did some charity herself, she would come back and brag to me: "Teacher, do you know? I'm sponsoring a college student." I said, "Who are you sponsoring?" She didn't know, but she sent money every month. Isn't that a scam? I said, "Where is he? In Wuhan." We said, "Let's find out where he is, what kind of person he is, what he's doing." She didn't know. She was quite enthusiastic about helping the poor, but that's not helping the poor; that's helping scammers, isn't it? Isn't that unlucky?

People should learn to offer the best to God throughout their lives, not to scammers. This is a concept of victory. Why? Because it overcomes the selfishness and foolishness within oneself. You know, when I first believed in the Lord, offering was a struggle. It was real money, not a scam. Why? Because I was poor, very poor.

Oh, I had to be baptized, believe in the Lord, and then the old man taught me, teaching me to offer. Oh my goodness, the feeling in my heart at that time, I was far from really knowing God. You know, when you're poor, you lack money. But I figured out one thing: if I rely on myself, my whole life will be ruined, right? Even if I could save two hundred dollars a month, what could I do with two hundred dollars? Nothing.

Later, I made a decision: to invest, to offer, to offer the tithe to God. Later, I'll tell you, I offered the money before taxes, not after taxes. Before taxes, including the housing fund, and even more. Was it worth it? Do you know how generous the return on investment is? I can tell you it's very generous, otherwise how could I be financially free? Offer it to God.

So this was the first thing I struggled with. Later, I found that you have to be smart in your relationship with God; a fool can't handle it. There was a sister who was quite interesting. She went blind. What did she do after she went blind? She came to us. I tell you, you couldn't see the black of her eyes in the video; it was all white. Can you imagine how terrifying that felt?

The black of her eyes had a slight bit of gray, but mostly white. How did she go blind? Because she caught her husband having an affair, and she got so angry that she went blind. Why? Because she thought her husband was hers. Think about it, was he hers? Just because you married him, does that mean he's yours? That's not how it works. She went blind; she was stupid. Why? Because once you think it's all yours, you become stupid.

As a result, her monthly income was two thousand two hundred, and she offered two hundred. A sister next door to her was also in our group, and she told that sister, "Don't be silly, don't offer everything," just a little bit short, twenty dollars short of a bowl of noodles. She even told others, thinking she was so smart.

Later, we even stripped her of the qualification to offer that two hundred dollars. We didn't need it. What was the point? People from Northeast China are very "tigerish," very "tigerish," but also very stupid, very foolish. Selfishness is an extremely corrupt thing. Why don't people receive blessings? Selfishness. Why do people have bad luck? Selfishness. If you're selfish, you won't be victorious, and if you're not victorious, you'll have bad luck.

Why are people poor? Because they are not victorious. Why are they not victorious? Selfishness. Why do people get serious illnesses? Because they are not victorious, they are selfish, only caring about themselves. Why do people get hurt and have many negative memories? Selfishness, not being victorious. Selfishness is the root; selfishness is an extremely foolish thing. Not knowing to offer the most precious to God means not possessing the gates of the enemy. If you possess a city, the countryside can't compare to the city. Think about it, if you owned Dubai, how powerful would you be?

The series I want to talk about is called "Possessing the Gates of the Enemy." People don't know how important possessing the gates of the enemy is, nor do they know that possessing the gates of the enemy starts with offering the most precious to God. Look at Abraham offering Isaac, offering the most precious to God. It didn't happen all at once. It started when God chose Abraham. God first spoke to him when he was seventy-five years old, and by the time Isaac was thirty-five, Abraham was one hundred and thirty-five years old. Sixty years passed in between, gradually rising, rising to the point of offering the most precious to God. I think if we can compress it now, twenty years would be good, because people don't live that long now.

Take small steps forward, rising to the point of offering the most precious to God, and then the blessings you receive will become greater and greater. When it came to offering Isaac, "blessing I will bless you," that was a great blessing; the previous ones were small. Some people receive a small blessing and run away, like killing a duck and running away, stupid. If it were me, I would think this is good and keep pursuing it, still thinking it's infinitely good.

It's not like finding a small piece of gold, killing a duck and running away, not knowing that there's a gold mine underneath. What's a small piece of gold? There's a lot of gold underneath. When we offer our time, money, and life to God, that is victory. Why? Because giving is victory. So it's difficult for selfish people to be victorious. We must destroy the selfish things inside. Why are people selfish? Because they think it's right, they don't think selfishness is a loss, they think selfishness is an advantage, and they think they're smart.

In your relationship with God, you must seek Him, know Him, and know how to relate to God. The most precious thing in a person's life is to offer themselves to God. Once I lost my job. Actually, I used to think it was good to build a church while working, without taking a salary from the church, how righteous. But actually, it wasn't good. Later, I lost my job; God took my job away.

After losing my job, I spent a few months in confusion, wondering what to do next. Should I look for a new job? But there weren't that many positions in Singapore. I also thought about lowering my standards and reducing my spending, but even after lowering them, I didn't know what to do, and I felt confused. As a result, someone invited me to a special conference in Kuala Lumpur. Actually, I don't like attending special conferences, but I went that time because I was confused.

At the conference, I couldn't even listen to what was being said on stage. During the half-hour break in the middle, I sat in my seat and prayed. I felt uncomfortable in my heart when I prayed, but praying always made me feel a little better. It was at that time that God spoke to me. Some people ask, "How does God speak to you?" It was a voice that I could really hear. God asked me, "Are you willing to die for me?" Oh, I was living so uncomfortably at that time, I thought I might as well die, of course I was willing.

I tell you, I usually like to know God, constantly seeking Him and knowing Him. The story of Abraham offering Isaac was clear in my mind: "blessing I will bless you, and multiplying I will multiply your descendants as the stars of the heaven and as the sand which is on the seashore; and your descendants shall possess the gate of their enemies." Possessing the gates of the enemy, that's amazing! I said this good thing has come upon me, and I was moved to tears. I said, "God, I am willing, I long to be completely dedicated to You."

Now, when we look back at that event and see the situation we have reached now, it is truly possessing the gates of the enemy. How can the enemy stand before us? One comes, and we knock him down. So brothers and sisters, where does our healing and deliverance come from? Our healing and deliverance is not the teaching of those charismatic churches; our healing and deliverance comes from building a victorious church. I didn't "cram" for nothing; I got a perfect score on the exam.

So sometimes I advise brothers and sisters, if one day God asks you, "Are you willing to die for me?" Don't hesitate, just say "I am willing." And not reluctantly, not after considering it for a long time at home, you must answer it correctly right away. Because that is possessing the gates of the enemy. Brothers and sisters, don't be silly. Now I know what it's like to possess the gates of the enemy, it's so good! I answered so crisply at the time, and the result is a lifetime of victory, becoming a blessing to many people. My God is so good.

Some people ask, "Teacher, why hasn't God spoken to me?" I said you still have to "cram" well, you're not prepared, and God doesn't want to be turned down by you. For example, if God told Abraham to offer Isaac, and Abraham said, "I have to think about it," wouldn't that be ruined? After you've thought about it, God says He's changed His mind, that won't do. So you have to be prepared, you usually have to know God more. Victory is a very important concept.

Where does victory start? It starts with offering your most precious to God. You suffer a lot less sin and a lot less suffering, and the state you live out is simply the pinnacle of life! A winner in life. You rarely hear me talk about negative experiences, I rarely talk about my hurts, and I rarely shed tears of grievance. Do you know why? Because I have dedicated myself to God, really dedicated myself to God, not kidding.

Selfishness is stupidity. When you meet someone who is very selfish, you have to be careful when you interact with him. If he is very selfish, you have to be careful. Do you know why? Once a person is selfish, I tell you, he doesn't care about friends or anything, does he? As long as he has calculated his own interests, he will sell you out. Isn't betraying you his profession? Friends cheat friends, fellow villagers cheat fellow villagers, it's all like this.

So overseas, those who cheat Chinese people are Chinese people. So you have to be a smart person. Where does being a smart person start? It starts with dealing with the selfishness inside you, being victorious, possessing the gates of the enemy, offering the most precious to God, and opening the door to victory. That is the result of constantly seeking and exploring to know God. If you don't know God, how could you do such a thing? If you think it's a loss, how could you do it?

Teacher, I can't control myself. It's not that you can't control yourself, it's that you think it's worth it, so you can't control yourself, right? If you think it's not worth it, you control yourself very well, don't you? You control yourself very well. I've tried it many times, "Teacher, I can't control myself." I said, "Then give the money to me," that won't do. Isn't that control pretty good? What do you mean you can't control yourself? Why can't you control yourself? Because you're just thinking about making a profit, and you bite the hook right away and get scammed. It's not that you can't control yourself from being scammed, it's that you can't control yourself from taking advantage.

But you have come to know God, and you commune with Him, offering your most precious possessions to Him. I tell you, you will then taste the grace of the Lord, and you will know that He is good. Those who fear Him lack no good thing, those who seek Him lack no good thing. Isn't that more than enough? Your understanding of God begins with disappointment in this life. If you are content with this life, how could you possibly seek God? All your core interests are in worldly matters, yet you do not know what one gains when seeking in this world, do you?

Isn't it so? What one gains is toil and sorrow. In fact, I tell you, the worst lives in this world, though they may appear glamorous, are those of the powerful and influential, isn't it? With power and influence, some might grant you a permanent "green card" to Qincheng, making it your permanent residence, a permanent stay in Qincheng Prison. Living each day in fear and trepidation, can such a life be good? Living like Cain and Lamech. If one lives such a life, what is the point? Isn't it better to live a more comfortable life? Can one live a more comfortable life? I tell you, those who trust in God lack no good thing. Therefore, understanding God and understanding this life are central. This is a fundamental understanding of offering the most precious to God.

Then the angel of the Lord called to Abraham from heaven a second time and said, “I swear by myself, declares the Lord, that because you have done this and have not withheld your son, your only son, I will surely bless you and make your descendants as numerous as the stars in the sky and as the sand on the seashore. Your descendants will take possession of the cities of their enemies, and through your offspring all nations on earth will be blessed, because you have obeyed me.” (Genesis 22:15-18)

Prayer

God, grant us wisdom and understanding today, that we may know what a grace it is to offer our most precious possessions to You. Grant us a victorious spirit today, to overcome the selfishness within us, to overcome the worldly heart within us, that we may willingly and joyfully offer our most precious possessions to You, including our own lives.

God, let us be victorious, taking possession of the cities of our enemies, that in our days on this earth, we may trample upon the devil and his enemies, that we may plunder the devil and his enemies, that in our days on earth, we may become givers through Jesus Christ, that this generation may be blessed through us, for we long to become a blessing to this generation through You. In Jesus Christ's name, Amen.

Scripture Background

The background of this passage is very familiar to everyone, and it is very interesting. God finally allowed Abraham to have a son, and when was this? It was when Sarah was already infertile, her menstruation had ceased, and she could no longer ovulate. Abraham was ninety-nine years old, one hundred years old, and she was eighty-six years old, yet they had a son! I ask you, what is that? That is the impossible becoming possible, that is from God.

That was definitely not because Abraham was skillful, nor was it because Sarah was powerful. Some say it was one hundred years old and ninety years old, about that age, I often make the numbers off by a few, making them a few years younger. How precious it was to have this son, isn't it? And what did God say? Through this son, Isaac, his descendants would become your descendants, and your descendants would be like the sand on the seashore and the stars in the sky.

As a result, this promise was deeply imprinted in the old man's mind. The old man: Ah, my Isaac, ah, my Isaac! From the time Isaac was small, he held Isaac: Son, son, you are given to me by God. As a result, this child Isaac was particularly well-behaved and liked to listen to his father tell stories of God. From childhood, he was instilled with the idea that Isaac should be offered to God.

From childhood, he was instilled with the idea that living is not very meaningful, living is vanity of vanities. Why? Because when your uncle, Abraham's brother, died, oh, it was so miserable, he died miserably. Later, you know what? Abraham also told Isaac the story of Lot, Lot was Isaac's cousin. After telling the story, Isaac felt from childhood that I must live for God, my descendants will be like the sand on the seashore and the stars in the sky, my descendants will become a great nation, amazing, Isaac was like this.

Moreover, Isaac's logic, his logic was that from childhood you ask me, how did he know, we feel very surprised, he felt that in any case he would return to God one day, he also knew that one day he would die. So what happened later? Isaac's wife Rebekah, Rebekah came for Isaac. As a result, Isaac grew up, and when he was in his thirties, you think about thirty years old, Isaac was thirty years old when Abraham offered Isaac.

Oh my, Isaac was willing to be offered to God, amazing, isn't it? Very amazing, that's all because Abraham taught his son well, in fact, it's not teaching, he's just a bit natural. As a result, when he was in his thirties, one day God said to Abraham, in fact, God did not say to Isaac to offer yourself to me, God said to Abraham, take your only son, Isaac whom you love, your most precious Isaac, go to the land of Moriah, and offer him there as a burnt offering on a mountain I will show you. Do you understand? A burnt offering is to burn it, burn it to ashes.

Then Abraham got up early in the morning, saddled his donkey, took Isaac, took firewood, and went to offer a sacrifice to God, walking for three days, and on the third day, he saw Mount Moriah. Can you imagine? Can you imagine killing him and burning him to ashes, can you imagine what kind of logic this is? Oh my goodness.

Abraham walked forward with Isaac, was he confused inside? I guess he should be confused. Oh, God said that my son Isaac's descendants would be like the sand on the seashore and the stars in the sky, and now you want me to offer him as a burnt offering, he doesn't even have a son yet, he doesn't even have a wife, if he had a son and a wife, I would offer him up, OK, right, there are descendants. But you want me to offer him up, kill him, burn him to ashes, oh my goodness, these two things are contradictory, God, God.

Ah, I understand, the old man pondered as he walked, because this is called a cooling period, that is, a cooling-off period, you want to make a decision, give you three days to make a decision, walk for three days. After walking for these three days, the old man made this decision, how did the old man make this decision? He said my God will surely raise my son from the dead, do you think so?

After pondering for these three days, he came to such a conclusion. What kind of person can come to such a conclusion? Can everyone imagine? What kind of person can come to such a conclusion: my son will be raised from the dead. Strange! But the God he believes in is the God who raises people from the dead. This logic is not difficult to establish, why? People are created by God! God can turn a handful of soil into a person. Did Abraham know the story of Genesis? He knew it! People are created by God. Then how difficult is it for my son to be transformed from ashes into a living person, isn't it?

Moreover, Abraham pondered: first, my son Isaac came from God. The old couple were not able to have children, a ninety-year-old woman, not to mention ninety years old, try giving birth at eighty years old, how scary is that! A child born at ninety years old, this is from God. Then since it was given to me by God, is there a problem with God taking it back? No problem at all.

So first, he has to know that this is from God. Then I tell you, second, God also has a promise, my son's descendants will be like the sand on the seashore and the stars in the sky, so what to do? That's not a spiritual matter, it's really a matter on earth, that is, resurrection from the dead. So Abraham's heart is not the heart of an ordinary person! Can this be the idea of an ordinary person?

Our brothers and sisters must know that if you believe in God, you must believe that God is a God of great power. Do not believe that the God of great power has no power. If you are unemployed now, don't be afraid! If you are in debt now, have no money, don't be afraid! People can be resurrected from the dead, let alone a person's life is related to money, isn't it? This is what I often say, you don't have a job, if God wants to help you, it is not difficult to create a position for you.

This is the energy in my bones. My mother has Alzheimer's disease, she will definitely get better. Can Alzheimer's disease get better? Is there anything difficult for God? As a result, all the things in the spiritual realm were pulled out, it turned out to be Lao Ma. So people who love the world and love money are prone to Alzheimer's disease. People must believe that Jesus Christ rose from the dead, if He did not rise, our faith is in vain. So this logic must be established on this logic. All your problems are trivial matters in God's hands, how difficult is that? Not difficult.

I tell you, because I believe that my God can handle Alzheimer's disease, so although my mother has Alzheimer's disease, the ghost of Alzheimer's disease is rubbed on the ground by me. When it comes, I fight, when it comes, I fight. Thank God! So we don't think that God can't do this or that. You can't, God can! Abraham's faith is this kind of faith, so his faith is powerful in this, so he offered his son.

After offering, he really wanted to take a knife to cut. But the problem came, he wanted to offer, what if his son didn't want to offer? A thirty-five-year-old young man and a one hundred and thirty-five-year-old old man, can they beat him? Can't beat him. So what to do with Isaac? Isaac, you want to offer me to God? Okay! Hey, Dad, why didn't you tell me earlier? Look at this father and son, this father and son are both strange people.

Didn't God promise that my descendants would be as numerous as the sand on the seashore and the stars in the sky? Abraham looked at his son, yes, then I will offer him as a burnt offering. The two said, then I will experience a resurrection from the dead. You say this father and son are both strange father and son, right? One believes that he will be resurrected from the dead and offered to God, and the other believes that his son will be resurrected from the dead and offered to God.

I tell you, do you think such a person can get God's promise? Can he get the cities of his enemies? I tell you, once a person is afraid of death, he will not get the cities of his enemies, and the enemy will get his cities. The father and son are really victorious. As a result, he was placed on the firewood, and he was about to take a knife to cut. At that time, the story may be that the father and son said, I will close my eyes, and the son will close his eyes, and the old man will cut down. As a result, God said stop. As a result, this child cannot be harmed. Hey, Abraham, at that time, I tell you, the old man's tears fell. My God, my God will surely provide, this Jehovah Jireh, means Jehovah will surely provide.

It looks like just a gesture, I thought it was the real thing, I really did the real thing. Oh, God, you are teasing me, right? As a result, there was a sheep offered to God as a burnt offering, replacing Isaac. Later, I tell you, this foreshadowed Jesus Christ, God's own only son, offered to us, is the Lamb of God. Oh, our God, how could He want to take away our most precious things? He is giving us the most precious things. Do you understand this time? To give us the most precious things.

Oh, I know, I believe that God wants to give us the best things. It's just that we often miss good opportunities, because there are still very selfish things in the world, so at critical moments, we fail. You usually prepare yourself well, and do what Isaac did, what? Do your homework. I want to offer myself to God.

When that day comes, I will never back down. How could you fail? Do you understand? You will not fail, you will get the cities of your enemies. I tell you, the devil plays with us, playing with whether you are afraid of death or not! If you are a guy who is afraid of death, you can't play this game, so the devil rubs you on the ground.

If you are not afraid of death, you are not afraid of anything, the devil has no way to deal with you. It's not that the devil has no way to deal with you, it's that you have a way to deal with the devil. You rub the devil on the ground, what a victory! I was thinking, if people are afraid of death, how can they be Christians? If people don't want to die, how can they be victorious? If people are afraid of death, there is no way to victory. Why are Christians not victorious? It is because they have not figured out the matter of death, and they have kept the most precious things, and have not offered them to God, isn't it?

Therefore, God said to Abraham a second time: “Because you have done this and have not withheld your son, your only son, I swear by myself, declares the Lord, that I will surely bless you and make your descendants as numerous as the stars in the sky and as the sand on the seashore. Your descendants will take possession of the cities of their enemies, and through your offspring all nations on earth will be blessed, because you have obeyed me.”

I tell you, Jesus Christ is a descendant of Abraham, why? Because Abraham offered Isaac, so God chose Abraham. He has a descendant, who is the Son of God, conceived by the Holy Spirit, born in the lineage of Abraham, to become a victorious Son of God who offers Himself, that is our Jesus Christ, to possess the gate of the enemy. I tell you, if we can have this aspiration, to emulate the aspiration of Jesus Christ, you will also possess the gate of the enemy.

I earnestly hope that brothers and sisters can all become people who possess the gate of the enemy. Because Abraham obeyed God's word. If Abraham's understanding was not clear, it would have been ruined. If understanding is not clear, there is no faith in understanding. Thank God, we must all possess this aspiration, to offer the most precious to God. No matter what God asks of us, offer it without hesitation, because all things come from Him, to possess the gate of the enemy, Amen!

Offer the Most Precious to God 1: All Things Come from God

I ask you, did Isaac come from God? He came from God! Then is there a problem with God taking Isaac back? There is no problem, right? What is not given to you is not yours; what is given to you is given to you temporarily. The first point of offering the most precious to God is called all things come from God. I tell you, David offered tons and tons of gold to God, why? Because he knew that all came from God and was offered to God.

Alas, this matter, many people cannot understand. There was once a real estate developer, not so famous, but in the Fujian area, his family was a very famous real estate developer. Later, because of the break in the capital chain, it was only in the early 2010s that he found me online, and he described to me that he wanted to jump off the building. I said, "Then don't jump yet, let's talk about it and see, if God helps you, you don't have to jump. If God doesn't help you, then you can jump, it's not too late, we don't lack those few days."

My words were a bit humorous, I said it like this, it's not too late for those few days, we'll talk about it later, right? He said, what should I do? I said, let me lead you in prayer first. After leading him in prayer, he was so poor that he only had 50,000 yuan left in his account, and his children were still studying at university in the UK. It was really a matter of life and death, no money. If you want to live, this kind of family is actually quite miserable, and its expenses are also large.

His family had a parking space in Fuzhou, a parking space in the city center, and he listed it for 260,000 yuan, but no one bought it. Later, on that Friday, I led him in prayer, and on Saturday, someone offered 290,000 yuan to buy his parking space. He told me on Saturday that this God is truly God, truly God. I said, you listed it for 260,000 yuan, and someone offered 290,000 yuan to buy it. That 30,000 yuan is a tithe, don't be stingy. Okay, I will donate it to the local church.

I thought to myself, I said it's really interesting, I led him in prayer, and he donated it to the local church, I felt this mind. As for whether he donated it or not, I guess he didn't. Actually, God prepares. When I serve people, I like to follow up, and keep following up. Later, I followed up with a return of more than two million yuan, and donated it to the local church again. I said, oh my God, I did it for nothing. Then he stopped paying attention to me and didn't need me anymore. Why? Because it's so uncomfortable to mention the offering every time, isn't it? Later, after half a year, he contacted me again, and returned to his original state, completely finished.

Alas, I said, what kind of stupid person is this? It doesn't matter, it's not that I need this money, it's that he needs to offer, it doesn't matter. Then I think if the logic that all things come from the Lord is not established, how can you offer the most precious to God? These are all yours, offered to God, God, you have touched my heart, these are all fried from a bowl of fried Kway Teow, a bowl of fried Kway Teow! Is there such a thing? Right?

These are all made from one dumpling after another! Taking it out is simply touching the heart. Abraham offered Isaac, and Isaac clearly came from God, so he offered it, right? This is the most important logic. If you don't understand this logic, you're in trouble. This logic is all earned by yourself, don't offer it.

In our church, if you feel that these are all earned by your hard work, I don't want it either, I'm afraid God's name will be shamed if I want it. The church cannot take receiving offerings as its goal. The church is a place to distribute blessings, to let God's blessings come to everyone, right? If people don't know that all things come from God, this logic will not work no matter how you try.

Offer the Most Precious to God 2: God's Promise Will Never Be Abandoned

Brothers and sisters must grasp God's promise, God's promise will never be abandoned. For example, Joseph, Joseph was sold to Egypt. What he held onto was God's promise. When I was unemployed, what I held onto was God's promise. Do you understand? When brothers and sisters are sick, what I hold onto is God's promise. When my mother had Alzheimer's disease, what I held onto was God's promise. God's promise will never be abandoned. When Abraham heard God say to offer Isaac, wasn't that a contradiction? Isn't it contradictory? That's strange, my son's descendants will become like the sand on the seashore and the stars in the sky in the future, but there is nothing yet, so he is offered.

And if you offer it as a wave offering, as a heave offering, it's okay to gesture, right? Burnt offering, oh my God, burned to ashes. Burned to ashes, one side is God's promise, and the other side is the reality. I ask you, does the reality count, or does God's promise count? God's promise will never be abandoned, right? I think it would be great if brothers and sisters could grasp God's promise! Our eyes only see our problems, we all ask about my problems, and where is God's promise? It doesn't seem to work. I tell you, if there is a contradiction, God's promise counts.

In my faith, we have all been healed. Even if you still have some bad habits, change them, right? Since God's promise says so, I will listen to the word of Jehovah God, I will listen to the word of Jesus Christ, and I will implement it according to God's promise. That's great! You are in debt, I didn't do it right, but God's promise will never be abandoned. I am unemployed, but God's promise will never be abandoned. I am sick, God's promise will never be abandoned, right? I lost my job, but God's promise will never be abandoned. So our eyes cannot see the little things in this world, but see the things in eternity, and then you will be comfortable, won't you?

God's promise will never be abandoned, can you grasp this? Precisely because of this, I tell you, many years ago, I said that everyone has been healed, and everyone who comes to Jesus Christ has been healed, because that is God's promise. But what is the fact? The fact is that no one has been healed? No. But I believe in God's promise, this is the foundation. Then more and more, more and more.

Do you understand this logic? It is not our experience that is the truth, but God's promise that is the truth. Then some people say, why don't I have any experience? Your faith is not the faith of Abraham. You are not a victorious person, so you cannot draw on the promise. Therefore, Chinese Mingding Doctrine has a golden rule, which is that the victorious will receive the promise and receive the blessing.

Offer the Most Precious to God 3: God is the God Who Raises People from the Dead

You know, Abraham, on one side is God's promise, and on the other side is to burn him to ashes. No conclusion can be drawn, what conclusion can you draw? That is, my child will be resurrected from the dead. Since my child was born in a situation where both my wife and I were infertile, this was born from God's promise. This time, my child will also be resurrected from the dead according to God's promise, how great! In the world, in Abraham's time, had anyone seen someone resurrected from the dead? No. So, I was thinking, if we don't believe that our God can create something out of nothing, don't believe that our God can raise people from the dead, don't believe that our God can heal those terminal illnesses, don't believe that our God can do all impossible things, then this road cannot be taken, right?

Why are people resurrected from the dead? People are resurrected from the dead to prove one thing: to overcome the power of the underworld! The underworld cannot imprison the spirit of Jesus Christ. So we have to start re-establishing the concepts in our hearts. Precisely because of this, because I believe, many things are beyond my imagination. My mother's waist was a paralyzed waist, one vertebra was broken, one vertebra was half, and the other half was missing, and it was recessed. The doctor determined that it was a paralyzed waist, but because of my service, my mother was not paralyzed.

Also, three bones on the back of her foot were broken, and they were healed after prayer. When I went to take an X-ray, it was still broken, but walking was fine. I saw that all these things were because our God is the God who raises people from the dead, and nothing is impossible for Him. If nothing is impossible for Him, then what is a little money, a job? The things I have experienced are beyond my imagination, but not many of them are not in accordance with the word of God. My God is really the God who raises people from the dead, my God is really the God who creates something out of nothing! My God heals a disease, isn't that a trivial matter?

Offer the Most Precious to God 4: Fear God

Look, what did the angel of God say? You must not lay your hand on the boy. Do not harm him at all. Now I know that you fear God. Because you have not withheld from me your son, your only son.

Fear God, do what God says, why? Because that's what God said! God said to offer the most precious to God, then offer it! God said to offer Isaac as a burnt offering on Mount Moriah, burn him to ashes! I dare not disobey, this is Abraham, just do it. People who fear God are amazing! Why do we do it? Not because of anything else, but because God said so. Am I stupid if I don't do it? How dare I go against God? Never go against God, fear God.

Offer the Most Precious to God 5: This is the Best Choice

Sometimes I think that offering myself to God is the best choice. Isaac, that is, offering the best to God. Why is this the best choice? Isaac was lying on the firewood, do it, Dad. Why do you say that? Hey, not because of anything else, it's so good for me to return to God! This is what I said, leaving the world to be with God, returning to God is the most beautiful, incomparably good. People don't have this idea, you don't go to the ICU, you don't have a tube inserted, but once the tube is inserted and you live, can't I live a few more years? That's their logic. I don't want to die yet, I haven't lived enough. Isaac, I have lived enough. What kind of mind is this?

Remember, offering to God is the best choice. Maybe you have sworn an oath, you have secretly made a vow to God, you said you want to offer yourself to Him and serve Him. Now offer your life to God. Offering our lives to God is the best choice in our lives. People will save a lot, a lot, a lot of trouble. Isaac is amazing. If you think that the story of Isaac is recorded so little in the Bible, when you look at it carefully again, do you know why? Isaac has no story in his life, one story replaces all stories, offering himself is the most beautiful choice.

Abraham offered Isaac, then I ask you, Isaac offered himself. That's not Abraham's life, that's Isaac's life. This logic is really beyond the logic of ordinary people. So there are not many stories about Isaac. If you want to have a smooth life, I'll give you an idea, learn from Isaac. Don't take the name of Isaac and not be able to do the things of Isaac. Don't be like some people, take the name of Hannah and not be able to give birth to Samuel, right? Take the name of joy but not be joyful. If you think that taking a name that makes you rich will make you rich, that's interesting.

Learn the essence of Isaac. Dad, it's incomparably good to return to God. It's not blowing out the candle. I actually don't like living in the world. I just like to return to God. I just dream of returning to God. This father and son, alas, magical father and son. Dad, yesterday I dreamed that I offered myself to God. I went back to God, ah, it was so good, so good. I guess God really gave him a dream. Prepare to offer to God. Are we ready? If we are ready, will we still care about the things we offer to God?
